8181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: March 27, 2018, 11:12:16 PM
France has beaten Russia 3-1, with Kylian Mbappe scoring twice in the match. There has been a lot of political undercurrent to football involving Russia these days, after the poisoning of an ex-Russian spy in the UK. There is speculation over whether next year's World Cup in Russia will be boycotted by some countries. The French team underwent massive changes after their loss to Columbia, but got their game together in this match.
It's not likely that some countries will boycot World Cup. It's more likely that many politics will boycott this championship - presidents, prime ministers and etc.
Spain 6-1 Argentina. My eyes are still hard to believe seeing the score, but that is the reality, Argentina was destroyed by Spain. Again and again, playing without Messi, Argentina are playing poorly, losing to a score of that magnitude is not Argentina it should be. They still rely on Messi. If there is Messi does not mean Argentina will not lose, but I'm sure they will not lose like that if there Messi play.
Wow! Not sure why I chose to watch boring match between England and Italy lol. I didn't watched this match and for me it's even more difficult to believe in my eyes after seeing this result. Argentina played without Messi and Aguero, but it's excuse to concede 6 goals against Spain, it's embarrasing. It's serious warning for Argentina only 2.5 month before the World Cup.
8182  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase Announces Support for Ethereum ERC20 Tokens on: March 27, 2018, 10:25:12 PM
I really didn't expected this step from Coinbase. But, well, it will have meaningful impact to markets. Like we already saw in past, when coin like Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum was listed on Coinbase, value of these currencies significantly increased.
Anyway, I wouldn't choose centralized exchanges to keep my tokens. MyEtherWallet is my first choice. But many less experienced users may choose Coinbase for simplicity and convenience. I heard that some users are confused how to use MEW. But Coinbase can bring even more chaos if they will list only several tokens. People may send their tokens to Coinbase ETH address without knowing that token aren't listed on Coinbase and people will loose their money in this way.
8183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: March 27, 2018, 07:38:26 PM
Happy to see Alonso in 5th position after few terrible previous seasons. And it looks that bottom positions for Torro Rosso with Honda engine will be common thing. What a surprise... Williams also looks poor so far.
Yeah, Haas very unlucky today, if not these pit stop disasters, they was able to reach best result in their history.
@tokeweed, I don't believe that Red Bull will have more points than Ferrari in constructors cup by the end of the season.
But I think that Ricciardo will have more points than Verstappen, so I can bet against you Cheesy

Are we on with both bets?

I think Redbull will have more points than Ferrari.

I think Verstappen will have more points than Ricciardo.

Edit:  10 USD in BTC each.
Ok, I'm in with both bets Cheesy

I think I'm gonna regret the 'Redbull having more points than Ferrari by the end of the season' one, but whatever...  Both bets are BOOKED!  Wink

I hope this also makes for good banter between us as we follow the season in relation to our bets.  Good luck.

A third party is welcome to requote this post as proof that the bet happened.
I confirm my bets and quoting this post.
8184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Facebook Can Be Worth Billions, Why Can't Cryptocurrencies? on: March 27, 2018, 12:46:25 PM
Am I missing something here, they can be worth billions and already are. Facebook's market cap is about 450bn and cryptocurrencies as a whole is at about 300bn, that's only a 1.5x difference. I think comparing crypto to facebook is a strange choice because they're very different but if I had to I would argue it actually shows cryptos to be a little overvalued just based on numbers. It's very incorrect to draw such conclusions because they function so differently and so their values should be very different.
I think it's not accurate to compare one social network and all cryptocurrencies. And I think that main difference is a numver of users. If I'm not mistaken, Facobook have more than 2 billion registered users. How many people are using cryptocurrencies? Not sure, maybe tens of millions. Just imagine how much Bitcoin and ofher cryptocurrencies would be used by, let's say - 0.5 billion or 1 billion. Then only Bitcoin without other cryptocurrencies would be worth more than Facebook. And there is another thing - after recent scandal, Facebook are loosing it's value.
8185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter banned cryptocurrencies Ads on: March 27, 2018, 12:25:13 PM
You are using Internet Explorer, or what? C'mon, it's one week old news. And it was already discussed on Bitcointalk in so many threads already. Before starting new thread try to use search to be sure that similar thread wasn't already started by someone else.
Is that a problem for bitcoin too or only ICO's ??
Twitter will ban cryptocurrency ads. Bitcoin is cryptocurrency, so it's problem not for ICO's only, but also for Bitcoin.
But direct influence will be not big, it mainly affect Bitcoin related services such as exchanges, wallets, shops and etc.
8186  Other / Meta / Re: Does Bounty Hunters Eligible To Earn Merit? on: March 26, 2018, 10:34:58 PM
It depends what kind of bounty hunter you are. If you are making good posts, contributing to forum, helping to other members and etc, you deserve to get Merit, and it doesn't really matter if you are bounty hunter or not.
But if you are making low quality posts just to get paid, most of your posts are just social media bounty reports, then it's not likely that you will get Merit Smiley
8187  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Payza Faces Major Money Laundering Charges in the US on: March 26, 2018, 10:21:09 PM
I'm really shocked to see news that Payza involved in money laundering. I always thought they are serious and trusted company, something like a good alternative to PayPal.
Now I see that they started to use new domain Payza.eu and we can access our accounts. I have only few bucks there, I'm not sure is it worth to withdraw it now.
They were trusted because a lot of PTC sites used them as well as HYIP sites, both industries are extremely shady. But if they were operating in the US without a license then they were just calling for this to happen honestly, especially with their association with PTC and HYIP sites which Paypal refuse to work with.
You're right about PTC websites, many of them used Payza. But I haven't saw many HYIP's which was using Payza. If I remember correctly, Payza allows chargebacks, so it's not good option for HYIP owners. Perfectmoney is prefered payment proccessor among HYIP and PTC websites, Bitcoin are also getting more popular.

P.S. Someone mentioned possible connections between Payza and Egopay scam. Well, I heard similar talks when Egopay was still alive.
8188  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia accounts being cracked on: March 25, 2018, 10:51:10 PM
I'm getting message about failed attempt to login to my Cryptopia account almost every day. Checked - these attempts made from Russian IP address.
But I don't care much about it. Can't remember when I used Cryptopia last time and I don't have funds there. But it's just another great reminder why 2FA is must to use thing on exchanges.
8189  Economy / Marketplace / Re: In order for crypto industry to grow, we need real and trusted stablecoin on: March 25, 2018, 10:09:03 PM
Stablecoins and crypto is a cognitive dissonance. I don't understand why we need for the stablecoins in crypto world. If you can't stand with price volatility, then crypto is not for you.
Just tell me one reason, why these big would need to use stablecoin, instead of common fiat currency? What's the point?
8190  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My bitcointalk account is hacked how to recover? on: March 25, 2018, 09:51:52 PM
Hi, Can anybody help me to recover my account alex21btc?

Somebody hacked and changed email address so I can't recover password anymore.
I have email with all data and I can forward to admin or moderator to check.

Please help
Thanks
As user above posted, only way to recover account - sign a message from Bitcoin address which you used on Bitcointalk. I looked your post history and didn't found any Bitcoin addresses that you posted, so, unfortunately, it's impossible to recover account. But maybe you remember sending Bitcoin address using PM to someone? If yes, it's possible to recover account. I recommend to move this thread to Meta.

8192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: March 25, 2018, 02:40:52 PM

Yeah, it's not surprise that Brazil won easily. But group for Russia isn't most difficult (Uruguay, Egypt,  Saudi Arabia). So, it's really possible to reach next rank. And in previous International break Russia played with Spain 3:3, lost to Argentina only 0:1
Argentina played without Messi, but still they managed to score goal against Italy and reach victory.

I would not entirely agree that Russia have easy group,Uruguay is pretty strong team with some great players such as Cavani,Suarez,Godin,Gimenez and many others, and Egypt is certainly capable of playing a good match.Salah is their star player and with few others players which play in England Premier League they can fight for second place.

Russia is playing in few days with France so we'll see did they just have a bad day or have a bad team.
You're right about Uruguay, they should win that group. But I think that Russia and Egypt are pretty much similar level teams and it will be interesting fight for 2nd place. If host team will not reach next round, there will be huge disappointment for local fans.
Yeah, it will be interesting to watch Russia playing against another powerful team - France.
8193  Other / Meta / Re: New child board for merit talk? on: March 25, 2018, 12:06:46 AM
"Trust" used to be the talk of the town when it was first released.

Now it's merit  - but this too shall pass.

Smiley
There was more common questions on Meta - activity, ranks, how to upload avatar and etc. Merit is just another thing which will remain popular here for long. But now I think that there are less threads about Merit than it was few weeks ago. 2 months after introdution of Merit system now I don't think that we need separate board dedicated to Merit.
8194  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This Forum not only about bounty campaign! (Guide for beginner) on: March 24, 2018, 11:41:16 PM
You are right. Nowadays mostly new users focus mainly on bounty campaigns. They came here only to make money. Some of these people aren't even interested in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. They don't have good knowledge about crypt and are just spamming without reading other posts in thread. This is why Merit system was introduced and maybe it will help to change peoples attitude to this forum. Bitcointalk isn't only about money. These signature and bounty campaigns should be considered as a bonus for our activity, not a way to earn for a living.

I have message about ad-blocker.
I'm not alone about this.
What is to do to avoid this message...I believe I have not a adblocker.
I got that message yesterday. I tried to clean cookies and it solved my problem, I'm not getting message about Adblock anymore.

long story to be legendary ( 2 years )
but what is the (14 days ?)
I think you hardly can reach Legendary in 2 years only. You need to get 1000 Merit, alongside with activity.
And 14 days is just an period of activity.
8198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: March 24, 2018, 06:27:23 PM
I must say that Brazil win certainly not surprising,if Russia is not host of World Cup they probably will not even be in competition this year.Italy will not participate in World Cup,but it seems that Argentina was too strong for them this time.

Interesting.  Looks like the Haas and Renault are ahead of Force India and now fighting for the spots within the top 10 of the grid.

My bets offered are still up despite these results.  Wink

2018 Australian GP Qualifying

Yeah, it's surprise to see such solid performance by Haas and Renault in qualification. And maybe it's too early to say, but looks that Mercedes will have even bigger advantage against other grid teams than in last season.
@tokeweed, I don't believe that Red Bull will have more points than Ferrari in constructors cup by the end of the season.

@Spectrocoin_support, why I can't make SEPA withdrawal? After I fill all required things (Country, withdraw account, type, amount, account number, receiver name and surname and additional info) amount to receive is 0 EURO.

Hello,
Please contact our support so that they can check your account status for you. Please press on the message icon on the bottom-right corner and you will be prompted a chat to contact our support.

Thank, live chat support helped to solve problem. In past I made many withdrawals, but now I was asked to verify my identity. I was amazed that you verified my documents on same days when I uploaded, despite that's weekend now.
