Excellent, anything which adds to Bitcoin awareness is very welcome.

Any links for this one?
822  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Do Bitcoin Generator Sites really work? on: May 31, 2017, 06:24:45 AM
I want know if these BTC generators websites are really working? I have tried using one and made few BTCs, and when I was about to receive them, I was told that I should pay a certain amount of BTCs before the BTCs I generated can be sent in my account. So I don't want to send and never receive, and I want to be sure if they are working or not. Has anyone used that?

Again you dude. I sincerely hope you re 9 years old after asking this kind of question. Bitcoin generators?HuhHuhHuh WTF?HuhHuh?
I m not going even to try to answer to this stupid question.
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That moment when you buy 1BTC at $2500 on: May 31, 2017, 06:19:30 AM
That moment when you buy 1BTC at $2500, and then 3 days later someone buys it at $2000. But I'm guessing that it's the risk involved in investing, so what do I do now? Sell? Or hold on them?

You need to learn a lot about crypto my friend. Real investors re incredibly patient. You need to have nerves of steel if you want to make money in this business. So, dont sell, it ll double in a year time. Just store it safely and forget about it.
824  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GigaWatt on: May 31, 2017, 06:15:02 AM
Well, ICO s good only if you plan to actually host your gear there, especially Panda miners. Reselling their power s not that profitable.

Still, I feel crypto mining is about to be less and less profitable, at least for home users. As with SHA 256, large farms re going to take over everything.

Scrypt? What exactly is a Bitcoin Scrypt?
826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Diamond (DMD) Evolution v 2.0 | Hybrid Security | 25% PoS on: May 30, 2017, 09:04:07 PM
Is anyone mining DMD using sph-sgminer 4.1 with the AMD 480x cards?  When I try this combo I get a blue screen immediately.   The 480x must use the latest drivers and I am wondering if this is an issue.

Anyway if you have any knowledge you can pass along, I'd appreciate it.  Thanks.

Why would you do that? You re much better off mining Ether via Nicehash and getting paid DMD via DMD multipool. With top shelf card like 480x, you ll get 4x more DMD if you it the way I suggest as compared to mining DMD directly. Plus, you ll also support DMD market volume.
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GNT] Golem Project - The world’s most powerful supercomputer on: May 30, 2017, 06:50:10 PM
is golem even working? or is it just a beta?
On their website they are looking for Alpha testers.  I can't seem to find the roadmap, any help?

This should help.

Quick question, what does 20 TB storage can generate for me per month when using Burst?

Thx a lot
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GNT] Golem Project - The world’s most powerful supercomputer on: May 30, 2017, 06:22:21 AM
Well, I see we have another grammar nazi here.

Ok, true, I m not native English speaker and I might not comprehend all possible explanations of every single word in English language. Since you obviously do, I see you use Thesaurus a lot, that s very nice.

What you obviously dont understand is we re here posting on a cryptocurrency forum and not taking English language lessons.

It s obvious you have nothing to contribute to this discussion related to Golem so you opt to post BS like "a speculator speculating on speculation is just something silly!"
By doing this you simply derail this thread and here we re discussing about meaning of word "speculation" instead of what Golem is about to do. You did this cause either you are an English language professor and have a strong and unstoppable urge to educate people or you just try to gather a few more post for your signature campaign (I see you carry both signature and avatar). Whatever reason stands behind this BS derail of yours, PLEASE STOP.

If you think my posts about what Golem s about to do are incorrect or need amendment, please do, share your views about it. On the other hand, if you re gonna keep posting BS about stuff not related to Golem, please choose another forum of send me a PM.

In other words, FOCUS on the current topic.

Thank you.
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: May 30, 2017, 06:11:52 AM
Well, try to ask Factom about news and you ll get nothing. NDA this, NDA that. Serious companies do it that way.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GNT] Golem Project - The world’s most powerful supercomputer on: May 30, 2017, 05:15:20 AM
As always, lots of people just speculate on 10-20-30% price increase. Are you people that blind? Do you not understand how big this can be? If the dev team delivers, do you know how many people on this planet will be using Golem?

EVERY SINGLE ONE with a PC or similar device. Whoever s got unused GPU or processor power will be renting it during night when unused for example. Imagine crypto mining possibilities if you would be able to rent that kind of power. Science, research, medicine, finance, graphics, possibilities re ENDLESS!

You come here and talk about some measly $1 price increase.

I guess crypto s not for everyone, some people still think they flip Amazon gift cards for $1 a piece.

so sorry to jump in but hey... the question of speculation is exactly what you are doing also... as consolation yes the Dev does have alot of work to do and is bringing the Golem project ahead very nicely! and yes the chances of having a great outcome are very probable!
but a speculator speculating on speculation is just something silly!

My friend, I purchased Golem during last years ICO. If I wanted to sell, I d sell it by now since my profits are big time.
However, I ve been in crypto long, long time and I ve learned one very important thing: real investors re incredibly patient. I can sit and wait like a turtle in a sand. I can sit and wait for the big time prize.

So please do not call me a speculator. You do not know me and I find this insulting.

834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin banned in Ecuador on: May 29, 2017, 03:25:12 PM
Who cares about Ecuador and their position about crypto. You do understand it s big time hypocrisy banning BTC and then introducing their own crypto. South American countries really need to get rid of this govt control socialist oriented economies.
835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many ways are there to earn bitcoins? on: May 29, 2017, 06:18:24 AM
IMHO, One of the best ways to earn BTC is by using PoS to make some serious cash.

Here is how:

836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was it due to Ransomware? on: May 29, 2017, 06:16:28 AM
That s BS, big time BS. What u claim is that demand for BTC came from people need BTC to pay ransom and now it went down cause attackers cashed out.

Well......that is BIG TIME BS.

One question, why did price go up from 650 last year to 1200 early this year? There was not ransomware during that period?
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: May 29, 2017, 06:12:48 AM
As far as I remember, it was stated Exodus will start testing Factom again early July and Jaxx is about to include it in one of its future releases. Now when the network s been stable, I can bet we ll have several wallet options to choose from during June 2017.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best GPU's to mine ZCASH with? on: May 28, 2017, 10:10:52 AM
My Gigabyte full-length 1070s have a TDP of 180 watts - which is the highest I've seen on a 1070, most seem to be at the "FE" level 155 watts TDP.

A EVGA G2 1000 in a rig with a low-TDP CPU should handle 5 of them, and if you lower the TDP to under 160 watts (like most ZEC miners do) or use cards with a lower starting TDP (EVGA 1070 SC as an example) it should do so comfortably.

Would you pls share your MSI afterburner OC settings to get it around 160w?

Thx a lot.
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: May 28, 2017, 10:08:13 AM
Whenever I try to use software out of the books, it does not see my wireless card and does not have internet connection. I assume this is due to Linux-wifi driver issue. Any solution for this, besides going to lan.

Buy another cheap WiFi adapter. The cheapest work out of the box the most times.

Is there any alternative to this. I ve tried 2 of these and none of them works.
