823  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Anong Trabaho mo ngayon? Related ba sa course niyo? on: October 16, 2017, 02:27:32 AM
824  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: ETHEREUM FEES: GAS LIMIT on: October 16, 2017, 01:46:08 AM
Mga boss first time ko gumamit ng ethereum, ang gusto ko lang malaman kung ano yung gas limit? For example magsesend ako ng tokens and yung gas limit nya is around 110,000 something, magkano po yun in USD? By the way I'm using MEW.

Smiley
826  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: October 15, 2017, 11:48:38 PM
yeah bitcoin really very good investment for now because bitcoin price is very stable and good to buy and there is a huge number of people are going to increase its price too much faster in the near future and i hope we will be get a good profit from bitcoin .

Yeah right but if you buy bitcoin today, it's quite a high value and it's quite the risk since we don't know if its value may plummet suddenly. If you really have money, then you have the luxury to invest bitcoin today.
Contrary to your topic, i would say "It's better to invest bitcoin when its value is low because it would rise again in the next couple of hours or days." I think, this is a very common strategy in investment. Invest when it's low and wait 'til its value goes up high again.
827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taking Courses to learn about Bitcoin on: October 15, 2017, 11:32:27 PM
Learning about bitcoin needs not to enroll in any course related to it online. Why not read some articles or watch videos about what bitcoin really is? On top of that, you can also earn bitcoin without enrolling to any course related to it. Why not just invest your money in bitcoin directly than spending it on your enrollment fee?
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Industry Experts Believe Bitcoin Headed to $6,000 on: October 15, 2017, 08:02:54 AM
There’s an old saying, “Don’t let the fox watch the henhouse.” This may well be true when it comes to crypto-industry insiders and their opinions about the price of Bitcoin. But whether anti-Bitcoin fanatics like it or not, the price is steadily climbing toward the $6,000 mark.

https://www.cointelegraph.com/news/industry-experts-believe-bitcoin-headed-to-6000

This is very probable sir because by just looking at the chart, its value drastically rises up to 5K+ USD making the predictions of many came into reality. It is a mainstream issue that its value will reach to 5k USD before this year ends and it's true. Now comes an expectation that it will hit a 6K mark which is what i also believed and even giving a value of million dollars per bitcoin in the next decades to come.
829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: October 15, 2017, 07:56:38 AM
Not only bitcoin is the future of money. It's the new gold today.  Grin It's value keeps on rising like it's unstoppable.
There are actually pros and cons when it comes to using cryptocurrency especially talking to the mother of all currencies - BITCOIN.
For its advantage's sake, you can read this link at: http://cs.stanford.edu/people/eroberts/cs181/projects/2010-11/DigitalCurrencies/advantages/index.html

Hope that helps.
830  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: October 15, 2017, 07:53:05 AM
I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.

They're just uneducated people about ways on how to earn bitcoin. Maybe they just think that gambling is the only way to earn some. If they just only know the wonder of this forum, on how to use it, how to earn bitcoin out from it via campaigns, then maybe their notion towards bitcoin will eventually change. There are actually lots of ways on how to earn bitcoin aside from gambling, betting or any sort of games through this link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1777912.0 and let them know about this.

831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: October 15, 2017, 07:41:49 AM
Bitcoin was , is and will be used for illegal pourpuses their entire life. You havent heard about the now sized Silk Road black market  ? Were you was able to purchase drugs, hire assasins and another bunch of things like buying guns, slaves etc...

It is very true since bitcoin is decentralized and transactions are made anonymously using cryptographic signatures, bitcoin will serves as suitable vehicle to carry out illicit activities compared to carrying briefcases full of cash as what the Chief Economist of the IMF from 2001-2003, Kenneth Rogoff said. This is somewhat a new challenge of the government if it imposes its cryptocurrency laws in their country.

This may also be the reason why China bans bitcoin in their country, IMO.
832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: October 15, 2017, 07:28:21 AM
Since bitcoin is trending now world wide because you can easily earn this and it exchange in real cash. Is bitcoin the new value of currency in the internet? Is he the new money? Can we use it in buying foods and etc in the future?

Imagine bitcoin's value today as it drastically rises up to 5K+ USD. Opportunities pouring in for some who are unemployed over the past few years when they stumble upon the luck that bitcoin brings. I can say it's a life-changing coin which is referred to as the new gold of this era. Lots of establishments were already using it as means of payment to buy products or services and if you can notice, lots of ICOs are already popping that are also promoting for a new cryptocurrency.
833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do you think satoshi nakamoto kept his identity as a secret? on: October 15, 2017, 07:22:17 AM
why do you think satoshi nakamoto kept his identity as a secret?

I think i have already crossed a topic in this forum similar to this one before. Well, in my own and humble opinion, Satoshi Nakamoto's identity has kept secret so that no one might kidnapped him and force him to run a script that would shut his self-made digital currency. Or maybe, he will be forced to make a new coin similar to bitcoin that would somehow take bitcoin's position as the alpha of all cryptocurrencies.

Well, but who knows? Satoshi Nakamoto is a group and not just one person.
834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bright stars on: October 15, 2017, 07:12:51 AM
The new age of currency where computers are involved starts few years ago when Satoshi Nakamoto brought his blueprint of bitcoin on the lose in the cyberspace. It's quite astonishing how his algorithm of his digital currency attracts investors that made its value rise up to 5K+ USD giving opportunity to some people that are jobless and making it as a way of living and life-changing for some.
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: October 15, 2017, 03:19:57 AM
I only think of a limited scenarios in which Altcoins won't die along with Bitcoin and that is when all Bitcoin holders have migrated or shift into the next big cryptocurrency available, but that is of only Bitcoin failed by itself. But if the government have dofferent views otherwise then Bitcoin and other altcoins will die together because Bitcoin is the biggest cryptocurrency in terms of market share, and other are only trading altcoins to earn Bitcoin in the process.
This is true because if bitcoin falls, bitcoin users might jump on the next big altcoin there is. And also altcoins dont have the same developers so its really hard to see all of the altcoins dying and disappearing. A new altcoin will surely rise if bitcoin falls.

Yes because not all alt coins have the same platform as what bitcoin has. Bitcoin may lose its market value in the future for example, but a new successor will follow its path for sure and would become the alpha of all digital coins.
836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kenneth Rogoff, former IMF economist says "Bitcoin price will collapse" on: October 15, 2017, 03:12:01 AM
He has a point about bitcoin being used in elicit activities and he may be right on his predictions about the future of bitcoin or he could also be wrong. But i believe, bitcoin has not reached its paramount value yet which i believed that air is just starting to fill the bubble and don't know when it pops. Everyone has its own opinion and are free to express what they wanted to say and so i have mine too. The only question here is "When does this bubble pops?"
837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bitcoins taxable? on: October 15, 2017, 01:40:06 AM
Let's Bitcoin takes off. Say you lived in the US and had an online service that dealt in the equivalent of ~20,000 USD or more income for you (personally). What are the laws for income tax on a currency like this? Can you get in trouble with the IRS by simply having tons of BTC that the market values at (currently) almost 5$ per BTC?

I think in some country especially the US, the IRS are in the move to intervene in the decentralized way of running the cryptocurrency world. I've read an article at: http://www.investopedia.com/articles/investing/040515/are-there-taxes-bitcoins.asp which may be the answer of this topic. But here in our country, we are still enjoying our bitcoin 100% tax free. Smiley
838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning enough with Bitcoin without Job ? on: October 15, 2017, 12:48:08 AM
Man, earning here is really serious and is enough for you think of quitting your job if you have one. My friend's friend quits his job only to focus in bitcoin earning and his decision is really right. His earnings in bitcoin is 5 times bigger than his paycheck before and he said that he's really happy of what he had achieved and happy he made the right decision in his life.
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN AS PAYMENT FOR ONLINE GAMES on: October 14, 2017, 11:56:55 PM
I need your opinion about having bitcoin for payments in online games, it is good or nah?

Using bitcoin as payments for in-game items and upgrades is very useful since many people are capable of technology devices though bitcoin and online games are done by computers.

I thinks its very efficient for me as a gamer and a bitcoin user to have a transaction or payment like that.

Bitcoin is the best answer for that sir. To corroborate what you said, here's what Bitpay said on a blog post about Bitcoin in relation to the world's dominant game server like Steam and i quote "While more users are coming online in these countries, traditional payment options like credit cards often aren't available. As the internet's universal currency, Bitcoin will allow Steam to easily reach gamers in every market around the world — without the high fees or the risk of chargeback fraud that come with card payments."

Well, that sounds really nice and a major advantage to gamers, right?
840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is better than Cash. on: October 14, 2017, 11:47:39 PM
What are the reasons, why people use Cash or Credit Cards / ATM / Banks?

Look at the benefits of bitcoin.

* Works online 100%, 100%transparent for private and commercial use. Total control of private or public money for it's holder or holders, investors, governments etc.
* As It's works online there no need of expensive steel safes or bank deposits to keep your money safe. Any password or time code can be used.
* No fees. Unlike cash, hasn't 2%-3% of inflation every single year.
* Accepted for Food Shopping & Micro payments via electronic card.
* 0 confermations time, with introduction of "instant pay" function.
* 0 exchange risks in use of proper securities and competent insurance.
* any entrepreneurs is able to understanding of the value of payment.
* No need for pay terminal for small businesses. For small entrepreneurs it's a high expense of 70 bucks every month.
* Theoretically it's would not be needed to have an expensive licensed cash register, for small entrepreneurs, as every transaction is totally transparent. So cases of black money flow would be easily found and proven.
* Banking and gambling. No need of any verification for CFD,Stock,Currency or gambling services.

One good thing about digital currencies that i think you missed to mention is its transnationality which means that there are no boundaries to Bitcoin or alt coins allowing seamless transactions across nations with a ledger getting maintained at the backend.
