Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I haven't but i sure would love to get on one if it's free. You are lucky that you have a chance to get in oj something like that that a lot of people including me would really love to experience. So i say go for it. It would be the greatest decision you would ever make in your whole life. Do not take this chance for granted. Learning about anything is never a waste of time. Knowledge is the most vakuabke thing in this world so never say no to anything that can get you more knowledge about anything.

Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are a kinda new topic for everyone. If you truly want to learn about it then simply use the internet.
Every possible info about BTC, blockchain is available for free online, if that was a paid course I would advise against it.
But since it is free to enter course you can try to test it out and tell us whether it is something worth our time.
Additional question: do you think it will help you somehow with your work? Or you just want to learn if because you like this idea?

You can learn all you need about bitcoin and cryptocurrency investing online. However, I am sure  the udemy bitcoin course you mentioned may have all of the important information organized for you. It is a good idea to start the bitcoin course and after this you will most likely understand more of what you see on line regarding bitcoin.

Indeed. Why take for a course if online searching is enough to know more about bitcoin. Invest your time surfing the net all the time so if you wanna know something you can immediately ask anyone from the forum and those experts already. Bitcoin is a vague discussion and it takes patience and a lot of effort. The main purpose is for you to be more knowledgeable and can share ideas to others who are interested about this. Don't spend for any amount in order to learn bitcoin instead, spend a lot of time for you to grow and ripe the knowledge that you'll get from bitcoin.

The best way to learn about bitcoin is to go on the forums in different categories and learn that way.  You could also do YouTube if you want a hands-on type approach.  You could learn a lot from reddit as they catagorize their topics and you could pin point which one you want to learn about.

Courses are very valuable for people who are going to be going into a field related to Bitcoin, in this case. If there are people who intend to go into blockchain related businesses, they could take a lot of courses that are in this sort of field and learn a lot about the intricacies of what exactly is going on in Bitcoin, rather than just taking stabs at the entire picture and trying to self-teach themselves. There is some merit to classes that actually teach you how to do things, like how universities used to be.

Learning about bitcoin needs not to enroll in any course related to it online. Why not read some articles or watch videos about what bitcoin really is? On top of that, you can also earn bitcoin without enrolling to any course related to it. Why not just invest your money in bitcoin directly than spending it on your enrollment fee?

I think that is not a good idea. I already see the future if bitcoin will be teach in school. The education will be set aside in every one of is will rely on bitcoin. If the student learn how to do bitcoin,  possible that they will not go to school anymore because they know that even if they will not get their degree,  they can earn money.

it depends. if you want to become a daily trader, a course about the fundamentals of trading that explain you how to do technical analysis, read charts and Japanese candles will be great.
if you just like to buy and hold i believe only reading this forum and few more crypto news websites and you will be fine.
anyhow i think that learning a new skill is a great thing and i recommend you to do so Smiley

I didn't take any online courses but I learn much about bitcoin by taking some of the pin post here in the campaign, I take time reading even the old ones so that I get the chance to study and learn the history of bitcoin, It's also a good thing that many topis started in this forum are helpful to those beginner it gives enough information without the need of taking any courses.

I think a bitcoin course would be suitable for those new to bitcoin. But if someone has a more senior bitcoin relation, better learning from seniors, it will be more effective than taking a course.

No doubt Bitcoin is a vast subject to learn..  but according to my opinion there's no need to take courses to learn
Maybe the best way is to learn from those who has an deep and long experience in Bitcoin and hold a level in BTC (my opinion)

I don't think that it is really necessary to take a course online to just learn bitcoin because you can easily learn it by yourself and it doesn't take expensive payment to learn bitcoin because it only requires your time and patience in studying and reading some stuff about bitcoin so in that case you will save money and you can develop a self skill like having more patience.

Actually learning bitcoin is quite simple, what I want to learn is blockchain technology. So anyone has taken a course for that? Even a playlist on youtube, do share the link along with your reviews.
