Volume is the key, with low  volume  its  very easy to stress out  price, since we have tons of  coins locked on masternodes.
40k  price  is reachable with less than 1 btc,  and  45k  is  ~2 btc. and thats  like 5 masternodes of  almost  500 we have.  so yeah  1% of  coins  can move price like for 50% up? total speculation.

About 2 weeks ago, I saw maybe a guy tried to collect as much as possible at price of 0.00043 BTC, so if it's dump and pump, I think the game is still in a way long.
822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on: November 25, 2017, 11:01:17 AM
with rig that have 4200sol/s Im making 0.06 btg a day at suprnova (with shitty dashboard that has no statistic working)

I think with 4200sol/s which is quite the same hashrate as my 2 rigs: 6x1070 + 6x1060 doin, 0.06 BTG is somehow not much as I expected, I think it should be 0.08-0.1 BTG.
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MSI AF Settings for the Zotac p106-100 on: November 25, 2017, 10:54:00 AM
Okay thanks i'll try all the above.
I'm going to do a fresh install of windows aswell. since the miner was ethereum based.
But i wonder where can i get the drivers for the zotac p106-106 cards ?

Until now as I know driver ver. 373.06 was the most stable one. So you may give a try.
824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone with a: TB250 BTC PRO (12GPU) rig running windows? on: November 25, 2017, 07:09:05 AM
yes i have

windows 10 last update + last nvidia driver with 12 gtx 1070

running fine !

How's about the hashrate and is it stable? Could you share the screen capture, thanks!
I tried many time with window 10 ver. 1709 and lastest driver but all attempts failed with only recognize maximum 8 GPUs.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MSI AF Settings for the Zotac p106-100 on: November 25, 2017, 07:03:17 AM
Its for equihash algoritm.
I don't want to use more then 600w out of one rig.
And don't want the temperature to get more then 70C

But i don't know whats the optimal Power limit and core/memory clock.

For equihash algorithm, this setting could fit your spec.:

power limit: 73%
core: +100
mem: +50
fan speed: 65% or you could make it auto with modified speed curve vs. temp.

826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How Often do you Check Your Rigs? on: November 25, 2017, 06:38:14 AM
I check about 3 times a day. When i wake up and my afternoon crypto news and prices.. once again before bed.  Had to run out a few times to go and restart the damn rigs because they fall off. Not alot, but once in awhile. Or the internet connection falls off. A quick modem reset does the trick. I still need to learn some new solutions so it can be more remote access and automated..

I think think this remote resetter may be good for fully remote managing:

827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best coin to mine on: November 25, 2017, 03:30:59 AM
With your rx470 and rx580 (most of my GPUs are also Rx580), I think the good options are: ETH -> XMR -> BTG (gold) -> DCR.
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: First Rig GPU decision with $1000-$1100 Budget on: November 25, 2017, 03:26:40 AM
I'm considering too. My budget is a little bit more, so 1st option is 2 rigs RX580 for ETH & XMR and the second is 1 rig GTX 1070Ti for more mining options. The 1st choice looks like better for me.
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How Often do you Check Your Rigs? on: November 25, 2017, 03:15:19 AM
i open teamviewer 100 times day!!! ahahahahah

It's too much haha. I just log in to rig when the pool send me email about idle workers which is mostly caused by window update.
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best of GTX 1070s on: November 25, 2017, 03:04:04 AM
I've always had really good luck with EVGA products just for simplicity, value, and performance.  This includes their power supplies.  So yeah, wait for EVGA sales and stick with that as a 1070 choice.  Then again, 1080 prices are coming down too so if you are looking for port density 1080 is pretty good too.

I'm waiting to 2018.Feb, as the roadmap of Nvidia that time they may release new series GTX 20xx, so maybe we could get some cheaper GTX 10xx.
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] VIVO - Masternodes, ASIC-Resistant, Secure, High MN Rewards, Decentralized on: November 25, 2017, 02:54:40 AM
Looks more like the price is tanking.  Why is it dropping so fast right now?

Concerns about lack of MN payouts?

It started dropping after Novaexchange announcement about closing, then another bad new on masternode reward error. So basically everything is ok now, it should be recovered soon.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1070 GTX owners, what are you mining now? on: November 24, 2017, 05:41:56 PM
Back to mine FTC and VTC after 2 weeks switched to XZC, I got few coins with just 2 rigs of 1070.
So I'm thinking to purchase more 2 rigs of RX580 which is cheaper in here now, or build 1 rig of 1070 for more options on mining. Btw, ETH price is a way high now.
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STRAKS - Decentralised, Open Source, Community Driven Digital Currency on: November 24, 2017, 06:54:34 AM
You don't have to swap Sigt to Straks.... Anyway I'm sure the developers will have a reasonable time limit on the swap, so the price of sigt won't impact Straks after a set date. I think from that point onwards Straks can be priced based on its merits, and not clouded by whatever is happening with Sigt.

I'm happy with the swap. I mean, you don't have to swap so why should we be upset with the short term choice to do so? If you like Sigt, just keep it.

Mining Straks will find a balance point in difficulty as time goes, people will jump in and out based on profitability, as happens with all coins.

It's not about what coin I like or don't like, it's about the integrity of the network. What's the point in mining it when sig holders will just dump at below mining cost once they're able. It doesn't make any sense to tie the coins together this way, it only hurts STRAKS and makes it seem like a scam. 1 week of mining sig for me translates to 4 months worth of mined STRAKS coins...? There should have just been 0 coins outside mined coins.

I totally agreed with you. I mined Straks at very beginning and when I found out this, I think it's not worth to mine at all. Basically it (PoW coin) could not be stronger and better without strong mining community.
So if I'm wrong, please correct me!
834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 24 GPU RIG on: November 24, 2017, 05:13:35 AM
Don't get discouraged b/c most people on this mining forum already knows how to build a gpu rig and we're very picky and criticize everything to our custom preference

I think you do have a market for people not technically PC savy and dont' want to deal with pc issues of building a rig.  I'm sure pro traders would also be interested for a turn key  easy solution so that way they can keep on day trading and get a new stream of cash flow as well as understand the concepts of mining hands on.

If you can build a very reliable rig, hand pick out the best reliable cards and have it run for a week without crashing, I think you'll get some sales.

I do think you should allow for some customization of hardware components or offer 3 different type of builds or something.  It's nice to be  able to customize it, For example I want the high efficiency 240 volt platinum server grade power supplies,  Or offer platinum/titantinum power supplys and the customer can use eaither 120 or 240 volt.  Or separate the system out with two/four motherboards so it's more modular in case one fails the whole system won't go offline earning nothing.

Can you show us some pics,  I'm interested now.

If they really make a 24 GPU rig happen, it's a way cool! not much of us could build this also guarantee a stable operation. As I remember in Bits Be Trippin' youtube channel, BBT already tried and failed on it.

Any idea why's the swap between this coin and SIGT? With ratio 4:1 of that swap, it's really not worth for mining this coin.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STRAKS - Decentralised, Open Source, Community Driven Digital Currency on: November 23, 2017, 04:47:37 PM
The maximum coin supply is 150 mil. But as I checked in the Rich List, there's a guy holding ~34.mil, so it doesn't make sense for me:

837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STRAKS - Decentralised, Open Source, Community Driven Digital Currency on: November 23, 2017, 04:00:38 PM
anyway, I wonna give a try. My rigs will start automatically mining STRAKS at the block 10075  Grin

How do you set that kind of auto start?
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STRAKS - Decentralised, Open Source, Community Driven Digital Currency on: November 23, 2017, 08:35:21 AM
As I checked in suprnova pool: "Rewards start at block 10080! 0 Reward before that block!" And the current block is 96xx. So basically just wait few hours more for mining.
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to decide which pool to join on: November 23, 2017, 07:22:01 AM
I always go with big pool which should have ~50% global hashrate with nice statistic and pool fee about ~1%.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: p106 not stable after overclock on: November 23, 2017, 07:19:33 AM

Hi guys,
N have a couple of rigs with p106 gpus that are working fine at 4650 core and making 25 MHs each gpu. I have bought new gpus, the same model, MSI p106 and new risers v008 and can't keep the rig stable for more than 4200 core, this is making 22 MHs each gpu. I am running ethos as operating system.
Does someone have this issue also?

My Asus P106-100 rigs with -120 core, +550 mem, quite stable at 25.2Mh/s. But when I tested in Simplemining OS with 15 GPUs rig, it's not stable at the same setting while could hash only 20.9Mh/s.
