Every time I visit the Onam telegram group, I can easily see that the team is exactly what they portray. With the focus not on profit but on delivering quality and value to traders of no experience and those of experience. This project has a good feel to it.

Good question  When we were thinking of a good name that fits our goal and ambitions we looked and made up so many names. Some good.... some not so good haha. Here is the original word in latin: Securus It means free from care, untroubled, safe, careless, unconcerned In a brainstorm session, we made it to securix Take care Jac Donkersloot Lol, I have always thought it to be akin to security, I even went as far as thinking it is probably coined from a language. I love that people want underage blocked, but also don't want KYC, the 2 go hand in hand especially if your one of the many that realize putting a checkmark on a site that says "yes im over 18" doesn't count as security lol
Yea, we know it will not stop the fact that underage will still get into the site and do the needful but its also logical for the team of orbit to take that step of preaching that underage is not allowed on their site, even though they can still bypass that with KYC and still do the needful, gambling is an attractive thing but can put you in tight corner you don't expect, more reason it should be left for the matured minds Of course, KYC is the only way to prevent underaged from using Orbit and I am also someone who isn't a fan of all the KYC that is needed today. But we have to keep in mind that they could be legally obliged to check the age of people using their platform. KYC helps to check the identity of persons on a site. But people still find a way to pass verification. That’s the aim of Blockchain. Am interested in how Orbit team would check this. I think the idea of doing more AMA's is a great way for the team to put to rest a lot of the questions especially since the hints about airline usage of the platform, i think an AMA once the teams ready would be the best way to assure that they get to answer all the nagging questions

Well, the high listing fees are probably just a rumor. Last time I talked to an Admin in their Telegram group, he said that they haven't even decided on how much they will charge for the listing and are still working on finalising those things with their legal team.

I have never done margin trading with crypto, only a little in forex in the past. I like to check out new exchanges trading in cryptocurrencies so will most likely take a look at this new one when I get a chance later in the week. It seems to have some interesting functions so I will want to check on it from time to time and how it is progressing. A lot of new projects need a chance to showcase their tokens and coins, so we need good exchanges in this space to get more utility out of this Arena.
I've been wanting to give margin trading a shot but its one of those things that's much closer to gambling i find than investing, i mean you still have a better shot than straight up gambling but its much higher risk if i understand correctly how it goes, but its also good to see that more exchanges like this are offering the option forward. Who of the prominent exchanges offers margin trading? I am not sure it is something normal or regular users would like to do...is ONAM providing that? It’s not a regular trade option. By January team says Mining Hardware would be installed to ensure payouts come out by February. The team already moved to Netherlands, I guess with family. They would bring in an on-site data security specialist as well as other security tools to prevent incidents And theft |
