Why does it matter to you too ? Did you here the joke about the two sad biologists that walked into a bar and the bartender asked them what's da matter? Shouldn't the bartender ask them what they want to drink ? If two bored physicists walked in instead, and he asked 'what's da matter', would he get a two-hour lecture about it, including inertia, gravitation, leptons, baryons, quarks, neutronium, relativity, and the Higgs boson? Why would physicists walk into a bar anyway? To study how fast they will be a victim of gravity after drinking alcohol? Well, two chemists would never walk into a bar; because, how could they ever decide which alcohol they want? What if they walked into a different kind of bar?  |

Lol, ya, I've seen this video before. Pretty weird. Nice looking cars. Many were sexy or even mean looking, while there were a few that looked kinda ugly or even stupid. (Typical of concept cars.) I've been waiting for decades already for Moller to make his flying car a reality. Flying car developer says he's $80 million closer to making sci-fi dream a reality. Interesting sparkler antennae. I put it in the freezer because it makes it more viscous, as well as making it smoother with less bite as it goes down. And I'm the worst person to ask for recommendations about drink mixers. I have virtually no knowledge of alcoholic drinks, hence why I settled on Jagermeister I thought you use the freeze pops as ice cubes, thereby creating a mixed drink. |

Indeed! 'Pirates' IS awesome! It's so much more than just a porn movie. It's like a 'B movie' with a lot of sex in it. Definitely on the must watch list.  Could they not have come up with a batter name than just 'Pirates'? I know porno names are usually just dumb bottom of the barrel stuff but they could have at least been a bit inventive with this one seeing as it was a big budget porno. I mean, Pirates isn't really intriguing or attention-grabbing. Is it a parody of The Pirates of The Carribean or something? Original story (not a parody) with original music (I think). I think the title is fine. The sequel's title is a little better, Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge, but misleading. |

The local news channel here was showing what seemed to be more impressive footage than the YouTube video linked in that article. I wasn't actually paying too close attention to the narrative (as I was preoccupied) but apparently authorities are having to warn people to stay as far away as possible, saying, "It's not fireworks!" DUH! LOL. Needless to say, some people are just nuts.

I just posted this in the 'Last movie you watched' thread, but since I highly recommend this series of (EPIC ) porn flicks, I decided to post it here too. Pirates is good, but Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge is better still. It's not often a sequel can compare to the original, never mind exceed it, but this one does. It's dirtier and more impressive than the first one. If you liked Pirates, you'll love Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge! BTW, you know how every porn movie has that 'porn music'? Not only is this series an original story (not a parody), but it even has original music (I believe) which makes it that much better. I dare say, it's EPIC... for porn, anyway.   <Edit> Like I said in the other thread, these films are much more than your typical porn flicks, they're like 'B movies' with a lot of sex in them. |

Most posts in this thread can be joked about. But I've yet to hear a valid response to this: In the same way that the scope of science is insufficient to comment upon its own non-empirical assumptions, it is also insufficient to comment upon the non-empirical aspects of God (again, assuming God exists; whether He actually does or does not exist is irrelevant to this consideration). Anyone against the idea of intelligent design based upon science (or, specifically, the lack of physical evidence for an intelligent designer) faces the challenge of reconciling that belief with the contradictory notion that it is perfectly permissible to accept the empirically unfalsifiable assumptions wielded by science. I think the quote by Christopher Hitchens best addresses unfalsifiable assumptions.
