821  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos, when KYC will introduced? on: December 01, 2023, 07:21:38 PM
You are really trolling today.

If you are talking about this forum, there will be no KYC.

Even those social media do not require KYC, not to talk of forums.
822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CASHOUT OR NOT???? on: December 01, 2023, 05:48:22 PM
If you have the opportunity to withdraw profit, then why not do it? If you obviously make a minimum deposit which is enough for several games, and you do not reach the amount you would like to withdraw, then this is one thing, but if the winnings allow you to withdraw your profit, then it is worth doing. I understand that many people play without much hope of winning, but if you are constantly losing, don’t you want to stop doing it?
That winning will allow withdraw of his money, but the amount of money he would win if he cash out is half of the total amount that he would win if he let all the matches to finish. But matches can be disappointing, unexpected outcome can later happen. I also will advise him to just withdraw than to be greedy.
823  Other / Archival / Re: Now we know!!! on: December 01, 2023, 05:41:22 PM
Digaran, assume I haven't read any other posts today.  What in the world are you talking about, specifically?
What he is saying is that theymos should have waited till there is clear regulation for mixers before banning mixers campaign on this forum.

I am not saying I am in support of what digaran said but just saying what he is talking about.
824  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does signature Campaign Sponsors make their money on: December 01, 2023, 04:53:07 PM
You advertise them on this forum and they will pay you. You know there are many users on this forum, they will know a site through the signature campaign and once the site sponsoring it see more people and more profit after the campaign begin, they continue to sponsor the campaign. But not all end well as the profit may be low than expected, that is why you will see some campaigns later ended, but that is not the only reasons a campaign can end.
825  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers Signatures : A challenge or Respect on: December 01, 2023, 04:07:32 PM
The same challenge goes to the campaign managers to announce this or this current week as the last one to wind up things  (in favor and agreeing to theymos) or still be willing to go till the last week of December Huh
If the campaign managers do not announce ending of signature campaign until 31st of December, they still not disobey theymos and not that they disagree because theymos gives the deadline to be until 1st of January. Not that mixers are said to be illegal, but because of what is going on and how they are linked to illegal activities, theymos do not want us to advertise mixers on this forum anymore
826  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where the mixers will promote their projects? on: December 01, 2023, 02:40:48 PM
Basically: legit users will have a harder time finding legit ones; criminals will still have access to it. Tongue
This is just it that you said. What I think more about what is going to happen is that legit users may not know about mixers again except the one users, but new users that have intention of criminality will still know what mixers are and they will still use it. The criminals will still see ways to do their work.
827  Other / Meta / Re: Sanctioned Services and the service traceability to this forum, Any danger? on: December 01, 2023, 12:04:04 PM
Is this forum not going to be in danger if authorities trace transactions with services they have sanctioned down to this forum?
Sinbad was not declared as illegal before, until recently. Everyone promoting the service have removed their signature immediately Sinbad was taken down.

Recently, theymos think this kind of thing can still happen in the future and said no one should advertise mixers again on this forum, starting January 1.

Mixers to be banned

No one on this forum is advertising a service that has been sanctioned or banned by authority.
828  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Tutorial]How to monitor multiple addresses without Insert seed and key on: December 01, 2023, 07:28:16 AM
How do you get the btc addresses of where your btc is stored in on nano ledger?  I know with electrum when you click on receive, it will show you exactly how much btc is in each electrum btc wallet.  What about if it's a hardware wallet?
jerry0 has started asking his questions again like before.

This thread is not related to your question. Create a new topic to ask this kind of question not related to a thread next time.

829  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New here and wants to make some money on: December 01, 2023, 07:20:33 AM
Be patient about it, learn more about this forum, post good and earn merit. If you are able to earn merit continuously and get to full member, apply on an opened signature campaign or new signature campaign and start earning money by posting. If you are a good poster, you will enjoy and rank higher. After you are making money through signature campaign, you can then look for other ways becuase you can not just rely only on signature campaign.
830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why sports betting? on: November 30, 2023, 04:20:59 PM
With hundreds or probably thousands of games online, I'd like to ask why would you choose sports betting?
some people are going for sport betting because they like watching the sport and also use the sport matches to gamble.

But if you compare sport and casino odds, you will realize that casinos are better, but it is if you will not be addicted to the games that in short time it has finished and awarded the winners. If you will not be addicted, casinos are better.
831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jack Dorsey wants to decentralize Bitcoin mining with new investment on: November 30, 2023, 01:13:44 PM
Honestly, I still don't understand how the distribution of rewards will work well and how investors will get rewards fairly, it still makes me confused. I will continue to follow Jack Dorsey's plans further.
It will only be in a decentralized way, but all other things we be like it supposed to be (like the fee that should be paid to the mining pool will still be paid) but just that the mining reward and the transaction fee reward will not first be earned by the mining pool but be distributed to miners in a decentralized way. Although, how this would be done is what I do not know because the address mining reward is sent to has to be controlled by someone, like the mining pool which will have the private key.
832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: November 29, 2023, 03:36:12 PM
I don’t give much specific percentage but I’m relying only on my current free money and deposit the same amount which I’m always using in gambling. I’m usually using only an amount equivalent to my signature campaign earning so that everything that I will lose is just from my side hustle here.
If you consider signature campaign earning as something fun and not hustling, it is a free money. But you are considering it as a side hustle. I can not use my side hustle to gamble. Hustling is hustling for money and not free money. I will join all my earning together and take just little amount not more than 5% from it and use it to gamble. But maybe this your side hustle is just little amount to your salary.

I don’t compute for specific percentage since I don’t want to allocate funds to gamble using my job salary so that my personal savings will be safe no matter what is the result of my game.
Good idea, if the money you are receiving from your side hustle is far more.
833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Jack Dorsey wants to decentralize Bitcoin mining with new investment on: November 29, 2023, 01:24:23 PM
Let us make it not long.

It is about the mining pool to be called Ocean that Jack Dorsey has raised funding for to.

After a mining pool mine a block, the mining pool have the reward before paying miners that join their pool. But with Ocean, the sharing of reward is going to be decentralized in a way not the pool that will first have the coins, but the reward will be shared in a decentralized way.

But is this necessary? I am thinking it is a good idea, but what about you people. Is it a good ideas?
834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes betting is just ridiculous. Sometimes it is complete nonsense. on: November 29, 2023, 12:34:31 PM
I have just later think of this, it is true that war is not good, but people that are using it to bet are not the one causing the war, their bet do not add any benefit or harm to the war. If they bet on it, I do not think there is anything bad about it. If people do not want such a bet, they should tell the governments of the world not to go against each other in a way that will lead to war, but that is not possible. But if there is no war, there will be no bet like this.
835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting? on: November 29, 2023, 08:27:20 AM
That would be a millionaire if he stops gambling,I remember some guys who had a small IT devices shop and they were selling computers and laptops, all was going well with them as they were some acquaintances of mine until one day they started gambling. They started with small amounts in the beginning until they build a balance,a good one and they started playing with over 1000 dollars bets and got further and further until one good day they lost it all and this to say that you can never become a millionaire over the long run with any type of betting.
One happened in my country. The man's father do not have money but he inherited a plot of land from his father, he sold it to send his child to a white nation to work. He worked for 5 years and came back home to start a business. It was a good business. One day, he saw a friend and they become close again and talked about gambling. After his friend introduced him to gambling, his business stopped to be going on as it was because he used all the money to gambling and lost all and his business died.

The one that happened recently just like three months ago happened in my street to someone that I know. He is a guy that is selling meet in the street. I did not see him selling meat again. I asked people the reason. They said he has used his money to gamble and he lost. It pain me.
836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting? on: November 29, 2023, 08:14:44 AM
So what do you think we will do here? I mean, we have this gambling discussion section to talk about gambling, why not talk about success sometimes rather than talking about how to prevent losses and how to avoid being addicted in gambling?
If you talk about losses, gamblers will still gamble. But the one that read about losses can know that they should just use the money they can afford to lose to gamble. If you talk about the success, more people will gamble recklessly until they finally understand after several losses.

This gambling section is here to encourage people from gambling, not to discourage them... and the fact that you are wearing a signature for a gambling site, that alone is already a way showing people your support on the gambling site you are working with.
You are right about this, but I see gambling board more as a way to also be educated about gambling. Education about what not to do and what do do.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Request to learn gambling on: November 29, 2023, 08:04:10 AM
Too bad that she may not find a second job due to age but maybe selling something might be a better option. Selling doesn't care about age.
Personal job is good. She should look for what people want in his area, find a good location and begin such business if she is able to afford to start it. There are many businesses, there are some that she can be able to afford.

Another one is to just buy some coins and hold it for a long time until their prices has increased. Example is bitcoin, it is not too late to buy bitcoin. If she wants to buy coins, she should make research and not also invest on shitcoins.
838  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: is electrum safe? on: November 28, 2023, 06:37:25 PM
For the electron wallet I see no wrong about it. It's a person choice to choose any type of wallet of your choice but when choosing be security concious. For the Cex you said I think it's  better you save your coin in DEX rather CEX.
You can use noncustodial wallet for the savings, not decentralized exchanges. Decentralized exchanges works in a way to be used also for the exchange of coins and finally the coin will be sent to an address on your noncustodial wallet. If you want what you are talking about to be correct, it is that custodial wallets and decentralized exchanges should not be used for savings, that noncustodial wallet which people have the private key should be used.
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Original USD value of a BTC transaction on: November 28, 2023, 05:11:08 PM
You can do that on some explorer like blockchair.com

That is how it is also on Electrum on mobile phone or as a watch-only on mobile phone.

Or if you are using Unstoppable wallet, go to your history and the amount of the coin in USD when you send it will be what you will see and it will not change. But on the page your coins are listed, you will see the present price. I like Unstoppable wallet for this.
840  Other / Meta / Re: Can a merit source re-start Ratimov merit threads. on: November 28, 2023, 10:20:52 AM
The topic that perfectly same like you asked:
1. [v2][Self Moderated] In Merits, Count Down To Your Next Rank...

Bonus (related to meriting someone post):
1. [self-moderated] Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source
2. *Restarted* Post history review offer
3. [Merit] Share your best posts/threads with Fillippone to be merit assessed

So, what you need next? every merit source has it's own policy, rule or subjectivity to merit someone post.
There is one more to add to it.

[Merit] Help posts in local boards that did not receive enough merits

Another thing is that theymos should increase the merit sources. He can also remove some merit source. I hardly notice 50 active merit sources among the 109 merit sources that we have.
