821  Other / Off-topic / Re: world without bitcoins......!!!1 on: April 15, 2018, 05:28:52 PM
In the rapid development progress of bitcoins, there has been countries where bitcoins are banned like China ,Bolivia ,Bangladesh and others.......... Since bitcoins are not in the hands of government , many countries have banned it and are in the phase on banning bitcoins............ So what should be done? What should be said to the governements?Huh?

Its they who should realize the importance and benefits of accepting bitcoin in their country. We do have lots of benefits to the countries. Their economy grows up, their citizens get employment with crypto currencies. Banks are not required to have in between when dealing with crypto currencies. This minimizes the extra expenses to the third party. P2P transactions makes everything easier with blockchain's secured system.
822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: You will be " rich ", potential coins 2018 on: April 14, 2018, 08:10:00 PM
Invest in valuable coins that will make you rich. Try investing in ETH in the near future there will be many changes in the digital money market. This is the currency that is competing with bitcoin on the market today. It can catch up with bitcoin or pass bitcoin because of its outstanding features. Many investors have chosen to buy this currency.

ETH would be one of the best coin that we can invest to see a big turn over this year and ETH team promises of threefold growth in 2018 because of its small contracts supporting them around. You can still look at best coins with high values. Think of Bitcoin of course, then look at Maker. Can you look at this growth in CMC? Its coming up so fine with strong growth. Many do not even speak about this coin any where. I am following its growth trend in last three months. Its growth has been pronominal. ETH, Maker, Bitcoin, NEO and Bitcoincash can bring you more in short terms.
823  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Not Yet Legal But Not Banned on: April 14, 2018, 07:48:35 PM
Many countries seem to have a hard time defining and regulating Bitcoin. The current legal framework is not enough to deal with cryptocurrency revolution, thus most countries still have not considered Bitcoin to be an additional legal tender just like the function of their central bank issued fiat money.

However, the Bitcoin revolution is fast reaching the nooks and crannies of many countries all over the world, what with the use of the modern gadgets and the internet. Sooner or later, financial authorities have to come up with the necessary framework with which cryptocurrency can work with.

For now, let us just enjoy the "not yet legal but not banned" status which can anyway fine with me so I can still avoid paying taxes.

Right. This is time to nourish the journey with crypto currencies ,especially bitcoin. I live where it not yet announced to be legal or illegal. But recently the major authority announced its entities not to deal with cryto which is really annoying. When authority do not really understand what crypto is, it really makes us to see how bad and behind the authority is when their citizens are so far ahead with the current generation's move. Country should be lead by an educated, there were changes would occur.
824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Suggest me 3 new coins with high potential on: April 14, 2018, 07:18:00 PM
I would suggest you not focus on best ICOs then picking up coins already in place. You would require very less investment if you are going for ICOs. The best ICOs would bring you more turn over than gaining profits from existing coins. We do have ICOs with best projects. Eligma, DeHedge, PolicyPol, Fishcoin, Betrium, Bitplay, Buzzshow and IAMHERO are best ICOs. Concentrate on these ICOs.
825  Bitcoin / Press / [2018-04-14] CHFP Capital ; BTC Will ‘Highly Likely’ Break $20,000 This Year on: April 14, 2018, 07:00:04 PM
Crypto Hedge Fund Pantera Capital: BTC Will ‘Highly Likely’ Break $20,000 This Year

Pantera Capital Management, a hedge fund with a focus on cryptocurrencies, said in their April newsletter that Bitcoin’s (BTC) price of $6,500 was probably the low for the cryptocurrency, and that it was “highly likely” BTC’s price will reach above $20,000 this year, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported Friday, April 13.

In December of last year, CEO of Pantera Capital Dan Morehead predicted that Bitcoin’s price could drop 50 percent before it reached new highs, a prediction whose first part has come true, as BTC dropped below $7000 in February - a 65 percent drop.

BTC’s price has since risen - most notably by $1,000 in 30 minutes on April 12 - currently trading at around $7,916 and down about three percent over a 24 hour period to press time.

In the April newsletter, Morehead wrote that he “rarely [has] such a strong conviction on timing. A wall of institutional money will drive the markets much higher.” Earlier this week, several Wall Street players made steps into cryptocurrency as the Rockefeller’s venture capital arm Venrock partnered with crypto investment firm Coinfund.

826  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Signature Campaigns taxes on: April 14, 2018, 06:41:21 PM
I would say, i am paying tax not to the earning buy spending of fiats converted from bitcoin earned from signature campaign. Do you get me? Unless and until i keep hold of the crypto currencies back in my wallets, i do pay tax when the crypto currencies are exchanged into fiats and they are spent on buying goods and etc. Every service and goods do tax. This has become ever more worst after a new leader has taken over his role. Really pathetic to have him as a leader who is not worth to be even human.

828  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time to buy bitcoin! on: April 14, 2018, 05:23:07 PM
Its the right time to buy coins. I bought bitcoin for 307 dollars yesterday as it seemed the right time though i missed it to buy last week. Though i earn bit, thought of buying more as being in crypto for 3 years and seeing the growth trend being sure of its growth in December. Its time to buy more altcoins as well. I am looking for coins that are good in market with good growth. Looking for new ICOs as well. I still hope in legit ICOs. May invest in few of the ICOs by next week.
829  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin has hit its peak? on: April 14, 2018, 05:13:32 PM
Hey all, I was just wondering your opinions on whether bitcoin has hit its peak already at around $20,000 or if you think it will break even higher in the future? I know there’s been bitcoin retraces of up to 80% before before it has risen a load again but I’m not sure that bitcoin hasn’t got the functionality that the price suggests.

I do not think the bitcoin peak is $ 20,000 but more than that, no one can confirm the peak of the bitcoin because the bitcoin value will continue to increase.

Yes not yet. Seeing last three months growth i would be happy with if bitcoin reaches and stays on $10000 if not it goes on peak. Too many news on banning bitcoin has really make many investors away nearing to bitcoin. Thanks to yesterday's pump of $1000 in an hour. The good thing is the value stays  balanced from $7900 to $8100. This is more than enough for this week. We just expect the value travel at this level. It would be good to have $1000 hike two weeks once like this.

Blockchain Platform Hopes To Stop Electricity Bills Surging Through Energy Marketplace

https://cointelegraph.com/news/blockchain-platform-hopes-to-stop-electricity-bills-surging-through-energy-marketplace

A new Blockchain platform is aiming to stamp out energy waste and misuse by designing a “simple, sustainable and scalable system” which eliminates imbalances between supply and demand.

Bittwatt argues that the industry needs to adapt if soaring demands for energy – spearheaded by developing countries – are going to be met safely.

The company is creating a Blockchain-enabled marketplace which shares consumption data in real time, with its “matchmaking platform” allowing buyers and sellers to trade energy securely based on their requirements. Bittwatt’s ecosystem would also mean power plants can be called upon to increase output levels at times of high demand, and consumers with unused electricity would be able to sell it back during peak periods in order to reduce pressure on the grid.

A good news for mining platform?
831  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin as property on: April 14, 2018, 04:20:57 PM
According to this video, https://www.facebook.com/cnbccrypto/videos/1688689147880991/

Bitcoin is considered as property and therefore whenever you sell your BTCto cash, there are two transactions. You first sell the ‘property’ to cash value then what you gain from the sale is used as cash. These transactions are therefore taxable.

For HODLers, if you cash out it in less than a year then it would be considered as income so there’s tax for that. If you hodl for more than a year, then IRS will consider it as 20% capital gains.

I just went through the article. Feel bit silly. Tax can be paid in any means. In order to pay tax, should this be a property. How can a currency be decided as a property. Currency is currency. Will you consider gold, silver and diamond as a property? Kindly avoid bringing such silly news here dude. This does not help. You just say, its worth buying a property instead of holding back the bitcoins in the wallet. We can command if its really worth to have or not.

835  Other / Meta / Re: The future of the signature campaigns on: April 07, 2018, 10:30:24 PM
If we can get rid of the bad signature campaigns, and reduce the low quality spamming, then the forum can grow back into the valuable resource it was a few years ago.

Yah, just think in another way. More accounts will remain contributing quality posts which in turn enhance the forum. This would in turn make more members and juniors urge themselves go much deeper in learning and providing quality posts to rank up with merits. This will spread good fame and name to all bounties and signature campaign and other campaigns as well. We will have rooms for new innovations, ideas, encouragements as well as good pay from all sources available in this forum. Quality stuffs always gains a vast market though it takes time. But it remains strong then after.
836  Economy / Economics / Re: If the government supports bitcoin instead of the existing currency. on: April 07, 2018, 10:15:40 PM
What should i tell. If this happens then of course there comes the real success of crypto currencies. Though crypto currencies have already started ruling currency market, its yet to capture the base of every authority. We do have countries adapting bitcoin and blockchain technology. This is the sign of third stage accepting crypto into their families. Just imaging down the line in five years, the number of countries accept bitcoin would be more in numbers as well as number of countries who are in zig zag mind whether to accept bitcoin or not into their countries. When each one realizes the benefits of crypto currencies, the world would step into next level of economy.
837  Economy / Speculation / Re: How deep can the bitcoin fall now? on: April 07, 2018, 09:56:35 PM
Hello

its really F*** up right now. i wanted to sell some coins next week now i see the bitcoin lost more theen 1,5k$ in past days without any reason there is no FUD or anything else rigth now but it still go deeper and deeper.

you think the mark of 8-9k$ is soon back?

Did not expect this correction lasting more than 100 days. This correction has almost caused 60 to 70 percent of loss compared to last December 2017. It’s good to see the value stay between $6200 to $6800 in last few days. Today we could observe a positive growth. Hope to see a good recovery very soon. Though we could read and come across with many positive news across, the bitcoin value and other crypto values remain under stable between few numbered percentage. Really disappointing to watch. But as this is common with crypto currencies, it should be taken in positive node and move further.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs Bitcoin as goal of investments on: April 07, 2018, 09:06:01 PM
Many people out there don´t believe that Ethereum can be a long term hodling, they simply use it participate in ICOs, sell and buy bitcoin again with the profit. Do you think that may change this year and ethereum can be seen as the choice to hodl?
People like that they had been proved wrong especially since last year, what happens is that those that are holding for the long term do not want to take any risk so why hold the second coin in the market cap when they can buy and hold bitcoin the first coin in the market cap, that is why you see there is not so many people holding ethereum for the long term as people holding bitcoin.

Compare to bitcoin we have not seen any other top five coins profing its strenth by its growth last year. But i could seriously obsevrve a coin "Maker" capturing the market taking place in the top 5 lists. Ethereum is said to grow threefold this year with its sub conitracts tied up with small firms and ICOs. Bitcoin does not need this to grow. Investors know the value of bitcoin, when and where to invest. 2018 is going to be spoken to be year of crypto currencies. So any crypto coin is chosen, profits is assured, only the percetage would differ to each coin.

Bitcoin, Ethereum Prices Remain Steady Despite ‘Crypto Ban’ From India’s Central Bank

The crypto markets are holding their own this week, with Bitcoin (BTC) not venturing too far away from $7,000, even amid news that India’s central bank would stop dealing with crypto-related businesses.

The relatively steady prices could be attributed to a big adoption win in Asia yesterday, when Omise and OmiseGO signed a Memorandum of Understanding for fintech and Blockchain innovation with a South Korean banking affiliate.

BTC is currently trading for around $6,880, up a little more than 3 percent over a 24 hour period to press time.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-ethereum-prices-remain-steady-despite-crypto-ban-from-indias-central-bank

India has not banned bitcoin / crypto currencies. RBI has announced its entities not to deal with bitcoin or any other crypto currencies / virtual currencies.

India should open its eyes and welcome bitcoin and crypto currencies to enrich its economy?
