821  Economy / Economics / Re: why is it so hard to buy bitcoin on: October 18, 2017, 02:10:55 PM
It's not hard at all to buy bitcoin and i don't think giving them some verification really matter. They only want to make sure that the buyer / seller is legit and won't cause trouble in the future. In my local exchange the users also have to do some verification to increase their daily limit.
That's your opinion because maybe in your situation right npw you have a lot of sources specially with bitcoin. To be honest,I don't have such big amount pf bitcoin to share but it is worth trying. I can say that it is hard to buy bitcoin this time because I don't have enough income to buy for it. In other words,I don't have the budget to buy bitcoin. The only way I can do for now is to wait my turn to buy bitcoin someday. I have to hold many bitcoins first before I do the second move which is buying of course. I know in time I can buy bitcoin and I won't regret of buying it.
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: interest in bitcoin is increasing on: October 17, 2017, 11:36:43 PM
I can see that also although it's not really on the hype at my country or even in my hometown but for sure it will be someday in the future. It's a fact that many would interest bitcoin not that because it has a high valur by this time but because it has potential that it will increase more in its value in the future. And I don't know if skme huge supermarket or big shopping sites are engaging bitcoin by this time, I think they never engage because of bitcoins volatility it is the hindrance they see that it's hard to accept bitcoin by now but if bitcoin will have fixed price no doubt many would do accept bitcoin as mode of payment to pay goods or services.
If that so then that means the demands are getting higher too. That only shows how consistent the people are with bitcoin. If it about the interest from people's interest to bitcoin then that's good to know. And, if it's about the interest about bitcoin as crypto and digitized money then that's much fine with me. That's also good to know that it is increasing. Maybe because it is know being recognized little by little. I think it's one way to get closer and closer for a grand success of bitcoin and with the people who put their lives with bitcoin.
823  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: October 16, 2017, 01:51:56 PM
At crypto world you will need both positions, you need to be smart to find good and potencial coins under their real value as you will need to set a strategy to keep with some funds to reinvest into another promising coin. For me im a bit strategic and soo far it had returned nice profits even with some lost on board as well, something that is part of trading word. But the worse thing is i had lost because i havent holded time enought to see the coin recover.
I agree with that. What if you are given too much intelligence and you are too smart but not that strategic I think it is still acceptable in crypto world. It is not a hindrance to be part of this world of bitcoin. And,I believe that being a strategic person is always thinking better ways than smarter ones. These two are by far different from each other but both have value in earning bitcoin or any other coins that are much preferable for everyone.
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Serious topic: how can we be sure Bitcoin will not be banned by most countries? on: October 15, 2017, 10:07:31 PM
We must remember that there is power in the world, which can cancel any laws and generate any decision. As a result, even when bitcoin is banned in a given country, if there is a sufficient number of people who are against this decision they can surely change the situation.
Anyhow, I guess there's no way of banning bitcoin in many other countries because why would they ban such a privilege to have a source of income and offers a lot of information in using money in a better modes of payment and so on. This is somewhat a blessing in disguise to help the society become more develop and it should start from people who are losing hopes and have fears of finding jobs for the future. Normally, when we look for a job, we always need money and spend a lot if there are trainings and it is a must. Even applying in government, you have to spend. So I think they can't do that to bitcoin because it can support our dreams so stop banning bitcoin.
825  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: October 14, 2017, 04:15:22 PM
being a strategic person is better than smart person. what will you gonna do if you're smart but lack of strategies ? there's no opportunities in that that's why being a strategic person is have more potential of being rich than smart person. because a strategic person can make a solution in any situation unlike smart person their lacking of strategy sometimes.
I want them both. Strategic and smart are perfect ways to be successful in any kind of living. Whether you are at home or at work, you need to be strategic with your job, money budgeting at home and be smart because smart people easily understands complicated situations. That's why both are equal to have. Strategies alone won't work if you don't plan better ways in doing so. I believe that to have good career, make yourself useful with full of skills and talents that coincide the two mentioned.
826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: October 13, 2017, 10:56:33 AM
My understanding is that technically bitcoin could not end as long as something remains of the basic infrastructure (Internet connectivity, electronic file storage, etc.) that allows bitcoin's blockchain and ledger to exist. It is still possible for another cryptocurrency to surpass bitcoin in terms of trading volume should something else become more popular, but the original bitcoin would still exist and be available for normal transactions.
I guess not because bitcoin is considered as forever. Through the use of technology, the world becomes smaller and smaller due to fast approach of access about all things that are link to money. We can't stop the development of the economy that's why bitcoin is here to extend the growth and progress of our country. Therefore, bitcoin will not end by now. Cryptocurrency is gradually be adapted by many people, many years to come but this will give a challenge for everybody. Overall, bitcoin is for a lifetime,I hope.
827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: October 10, 2017, 02:38:21 AM
Bitcoin was , is and will be used for illegal pourpuses their entire life. You havent heard about the now sized Silk Road black market  ? Were you was able to purchase drugs, hire assasins and another bunch of things like buying guns, slaves etc...
Normally, bitcoin is used for basic commodities but there is a possibility that it could be used for illegal purposes. The reason is that if people have already earned a lot of bitcoin then they can easily cashed out money and no wonder they'll become more powerful and if they have enemies, they can think of possible crimes. So far there's no real issue for that this time. It may exist but most of the people from here think and use it in a better way not for crimes.
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I did it! Traveling with Bitcoin and $100 only on: October 09, 2017, 05:17:28 AM
My journey started on Sep 21, from Boston to NYC, flight to Egypt then Turkey, back to Boston! Carrying $100 just in case and 3 bitcoins in my wallet!

Fuck If I will ever carry credit card, or cash any more:

1- I used Localbitcoins for cash! Search for best local currency rate!
2- How much I save from credit card fees and Fiat exchanges: $305.
3- Is it save to deal with Localbitcoins in person overseas? Yes, so amazing nice guys, you are making friends Smiley

You should try it! & $100 stayed with me! and I spent less than 1.9 btc in both countries!!!

But the amazing thing would be when you don't have to use localbitcoins for all your payments, uses and bills.
Gotta ask, how many vendors throughout your journey actually accepted bitcoin? Any tickets, bookings, restaurants or anything?
You gave new idea to the bitcoin users so that they have no worries to travel across the world putting aside all the worries and all this is just because of blessing of bitcoin, I suggest that traveling companies must accept bitcoins as travel expenses so that they can also expand their business worldwide and this will be also a ease to the user.
That's good to know about your experience though. Could you give more details and specific booking you got from your travels? It's really interesting because I also love to travel but I don't know how to do it first. I mean the things to prepare first and how it goes. I live in Asia but until now I haven't travelled from far places or countries. Since then i keep on hoping that someday I can travel even just one time before I die. I want to live longer so I can travel many places but that only permits my life until when.
829  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you check Bitcoin price everyday? on: October 09, 2017, 04:53:26 AM
Of course, I checked many times everyday and I bet almost all bitcoiner does. It's part of my everyday routine once I pick up my phone. There is no day that I didn't check the price wether I have bitcoin left in my wallet or none.

I do so as well. It's become a part of my routine and I do it daily even if I only have a small amount of coins in my wallet. It's convenient that I am able to check the prices with the use of my wallet, and I am also able to compare price charts for a day, month or year-round. I check it so that I may be updated even if I do not intend to sell my bitcoin just yet. It does not affect me when the price goes down because I am firm with my decision not to sell it at the moment.
Well, majority of us check the status or flow of the price of bitcoin because we are living in crypto world now and that's for those who can relate to us. I can only check in my wallet because that's the easiest way I can check the price. It's not also my plan to sell it but I just want to see if there is progress or there are changes so that I can think of a way to solve the amount that I have in my wallet. It's important for me to keep updated because it is my life now. There's no way to look back so I have to move forward for bitcoin's success.
830  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dividing your salary. on: October 09, 2017, 04:00:42 AM
Hello, as we all know that Bitcoin is heading straight to the moon. Me, as an employee, do also invest with this cryptocurrency, and I kinda need to divide all of my salary for my needs, and on how much should I invest in? Let's talk about percentage. Anyone?

You have to check your daily need,
you know the remaining percentage,
it may be very good to invest in majority,... but you know it better

For rule of thumb, 5%-15% probably the good idea.
I think you are referring to your net income the ones you mention about remaining percentage. Based on my way of dividing my salary,I don't really divide it instead I just do some allocation for my needs and wants. For intance,my daily needs or basics is like 50%, wants 20%,unexpected expenses 10% and savings 20% that's the totality for my expenses of my salary. I should think more of the important needs than the less inportant ones. That's how I do mine. What's yours?
831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Schools Are Officially Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition on: October 09, 2017, 03:30:06 AM
Woaaaah is it good to know i hope my country also accepts it as a payment huhuhuhuhu.. I am working on bitcoinbhere and hoping to pay my tuition fees also without the help from my parents because we are not like the rich people..
If switzerland start that and if it will exposed in social media maybe other school will get attracted to that tooo..

The future of bitcoin is starting and get stronger and stronger
I CAN'T WAIT WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT YEAR!!
We do hope the same in here but then how would that be possible if our governments don't allow everyone to let this happen. We always think of better ways but when will be heard? I'm expecting so much for this to happen like we won't suffer from inconvenience transaction for payments like this. Tuition fees increase almost every year and it's a good chance for bitcoin to touch also in paying tuition fee which is very important for parents. But I will wait for this to come.
832  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience and Holding on: October 09, 2017, 03:10:02 AM
If you have invested your money in altcoins then patience would be the key to make profits as there would be times when you will see price dropping and in that case you need to hold your coins tight without getting panic and if you have invested in good coins then there is nothing to worry about the price drop as price will rise back in long term and that would be the time to sell your coins for profits.
I think altcoin is very different than bitcoin. because altcoin prices are very unpredictable and could have altcoin prices continue to decline. I assumed that way because at this time a lot of altcoin which initially very good but eventually fell and then disappeared. this is what to avoid when investing in altcoin. we should be able to move quickly and ensure sell altcoins that we have when altcoin prices increase. altcoin requires not only patience, but we need a very high analysis when deciding to buy altcoin in the market.
I guess not, they are just similar for they both belong to cryptocurrency and both digitized money. The only difference is that, their value. Altcoins may also be affected with bitcoin because both of them are unpredictable. I also have that experienced when selling altcoins immediately but when there was a chance for me to review that particular coin,I nhad so much regret because it goes higher than what I aimed for. So the next time,I wait again and again so that it won't happen the same experience. Always be watchful of the flow of altcoins and bitcoins.
833  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you plan to sell? on: October 08, 2017, 11:08:45 PM
I have a little measure of BItcoin now. But I don't want to sell it now. If Bitcoin price will cross $5k then I think about selling. Otherwise, I hold it for a long period. And I hope at the end of this year Bitcoin price will cross $5k obviously.
yes off course price will cross $5k at the end of this year, But their is a threat in future for bitcoin, Russia also decided to stop bitcoin market in its country soon, so you have to be care full, because just like last time china case the price drop down little bit so take your decision in very short time is better for you.
yes this  Russian threat make every bitcoin holder curios about future, i mean when ever prices shoot up any misshapen and prices drop down.
This is not the first time a country will declare her enmity intention on bitcoin. I do not believe with the recent occurrence, Russia declaring war on bitcoin will really have any major impact. I had rather just hold whatever I have in my wallet as a Russian and probably one day relocate. Not like my wallet can be traced to be owned by a Russian, since that was the major idea in the first place, FREEDOM!

I think it's another challenge and I believed that it is part of another plans on those russian whales to take down and make another fork again. Freedom is freedom and that war against bitcoin will not become reality and all about speculations with no basis at all. With all those previous attemps all went out non successful, because people trusted bitcoin as well, for now don't sell until price don't hit the $10k.
834  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: October 08, 2017, 03:32:00 AM
Here in BTC forum specially in my local i help those in need of adive or guide and sometimes i share it with my friends even though theyre not into but i 'm just always saying that it is source of income and just tell me when you want  to learn anything aboit bitcoin..
That's good idea too. In my case,my way of spreading bitcoin knowledge is through face to face or meet ups. I don't want to explain only on facebook ,twitter or similar social accounts because they really want to see the real reaction or explanation of the person. The direct interaction is quite important to newly learned person about bitcoin. Most specially single people are interested in bitcoin because they have many dreams in life. That's why they are more interested to be part of crypto world.
835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: October 07, 2017, 09:50:51 PM
Bitcoin is a digital currency while real money is more tangible money. Both of them have value, they can be earned, invested and traded. Their difference is more of in their form than in their use. You have the choice to convert your dollars (or any local currency) to bitcoin or not as an investment  but personally, I do it for the purpose of diversifying.
While the use for bitcoin and fiat money is the same, the big difference is that the fiat money is created and its value determined by the government licensed banks, while everyone can create or mine bitcoin and its value is solely determined by the demand of the people.

Another big difference is that fiat money loses its value by default!

Not all Fiat currencies lose value. The Swiss Frank had done a remarkable job of maintaining its value against silver for a long time. Of course, if you look at the currencies of countries like Venezuela and Zimbabwe, then it is a different story.
Maybe that's the case. Bitcoin is a digitized money which you can get from your mobile phone with the help of internet connection and you can bring anywhere you like without pocket in your bag because it's only inside your phone with its amount on it. On the other hand, real money is something you can already touch and the ones that we always use for buying and also the ones that we receive from our salary. In other words, they are both money but only bitcoin is indirect method when you receive it to your hand.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs scam? on: October 07, 2017, 03:39:55 PM
Well, from my point of view, a great deal of ICOs are questionable. I'm not saying that they are a scam, but they look shady nonetheless.
It's relatively easy to distinguish a SCAM ICO from the rest if you have a trained eye and some experience. Shady team, lack of information in the whitepaper, even the website itself can tell you to stay away from that ICO.

On the other hand, a great deal of ICOs performs rather poorly. Only a few of them manage to raise sufficient funds or even reach 100% of their intended goal. Maybe it boils down to marketing, and which ICO sparked the most hype.

I even made a super simple infographic after looking at this week's data, take a look:

From this chart, only 1 managed to raise most of its funds.
5 of them performed really poorly
and 6 of them didn't even bother to provide information on how much they've raised, so they might be scam, perhaps.
How could be a trained eye shows? Anyway,I'm not particular with ICO but I know that this isn't a scam because if you try to look on things, several people are into ICO. This means ICO has a beneficial effect towards investors or other entrepreneurs using this altcoin in cryptocurrency. We are already aware of scammers but it's difficult still to pint out which one/ones. Consequently,ICO is not a scam but try to contribute an evidence if you have experienced a scammer of ICO.
837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin business idea on: October 07, 2017, 02:44:01 PM
The buisness idea that involved with bitcoin in my country is connected with:

Freelancers (awesome form of payment)
Services (it is less controlled fiscally so less problems with btc transactions)
Food services (especially with the ATM inside or near, or by paying pre-delivery)
Hotels (especially pre-paid)
Auctions online

I am not sure about the other types of buisness, but those are succesfully mixed with btc
What do you exactly mean with freelancers payment? I don't get it completely. Do you know all the payments under those you mentioned above? And,have you ever tried them all? I just wonder how did the businessman successfully make it to your country but not yet happen in my country. Could you state an additional info on how, what, when did these businesses offered or use bitcoin as payment?
838  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC as a national currency? on: October 07, 2017, 02:10:47 PM
i think that's hard to consider because bitcoin is a big currency but it cant be the national currency because each and every country has their own
Well I respect your idea on this but as for my view, having such a big value in cryptocurrency, there is a higher chance that bitcoin will be a national currency. I strongly believe that if they allow this to happen, maybe many investors will help each other's country to develop establishments and of course the economy. It sounds valuable and amazing for everybody is using bitcoin for every purchases and the like.
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi? Why did he hide his identity? on: October 07, 2017, 11:39:56 AM
Satoshi Nakamoto  is the man that created Bitcoin and the world's most ellusive billionaire. No one knows why satoshi is still hiding his own identity.Maybe he has his own reason for being mysterious.
I don't know everything about Satoshi but most of them pointed him as the owner of Bitcoin. If he is the real creator of bitcoin for sure he is a millionaire himself. If I were satoshi,I would also hide my identity for my security purpose and I would remain mysterious in the world of bitcoin because I want to see how bitcoin become successful in cryptocurrency world. I would feel delighted if that's the reason of his. We don't even know the real score behind but we are thankful and keep that.
840  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin atm on: October 07, 2017, 11:07:14 AM
Here in my country there's not that much people or businessmen that are into bitcoin ATM even the biggest exchange here doesn't have a bitcoin ATM. But someone showed me that there's only one bitcoin ATM here but it's far from my place so I just looked at it's picture and asks some people who are near to that place and they confirmed that there's a bitcoin ATM so it's good to know that there's an existing btc ATM here even it's only one.
So bitcoin ATM already existed? How interesting! Which country are you? I also want to see a real bitcoin ATM and I want to compare its differences and similarities in bank ATMs. I'm now more curious of it because it's my first time hear about it. I wonder why only one is made in your place why not also make in other countries. Is that a very safe one to use for transaction? Does it also have passbook that is same as bank?
