821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin equal Blockchain? on: October 11, 2019, 06:19:26 PM
Without blockchain, Bitcoin won't be enough decentralized. Meanwhile without bitcoin, blockchain would never be known well by most people.
Just because some crypto coin utilizes the blockchain doesn't make it secure or popular---a lot of coins have been attacked because of how insecure their networks are. It's a massive single point of failure.

Bitcoin is known for its immensely powerful network---security that helps maintain its data integrity. I haven't seen many people praise Bitcoin because of it being a blockchain. People value Bitcoin's network.

Blockchain is a buzzword to help businesses and scammers attract capital. I have never liked the idea behind a whole blockchain industry. It's 95% hype and 5% utility. One day that hype will lose its momentum....
I believe that everything will depend on in which area of human activity blockchain will be used.  The results will depend on this, and Bitcoin is already losing its popularity today, and it is quite possible that it will be quickly replaced by other cryptocurrencies, such as Ethereum, which have indicators much higher.
822  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic situation around the world and Bitcoin on: October 10, 2019, 07:06:49 PM
Definitely. I believe that the masses are looking for a way out of the current financial systems. Bitcoin is thriving on solving all the challenges that are associated with financial systems around the globe, and with the numerous solutions that the cryptocurrency has to offer, I believe a few years to come the majority of the people will have switched to cryptocurrencies. The decentralization feature is what is attracting so many people to this new digital currency.
Well, It will but I feel doubt it takes longer of time. Years or maybe decades. Well, IMO. I really think so, the Economic situation would really push more people into bitcoin because all they wanted is not just to learn but to earn a big profit to support their daily needs as well. If that case many people will be embracing crypto and looking forward to because of the profit that bitcoin had. Indeed, I believed that there is a great innovation that Bitcoin brings from our economic situation and will the next halving will come.
Of course, everything will be exactly as you say, here only the decentralization and anonymity of each cryptocurrency user will have to forget.  Already today, many state governments are starting to resent the fact that criminals and fraudsters use cryptocurrency for their criminal purposes.  For this, in countries, certain structures will control the circulation of cryptocurrency.  But anyway, it is cryptocurrency that is a huge step forward for the whole world of cashless payments.
823  Economy / Economics / Re: If you want to be rich..! on: October 10, 2019, 06:35:42 PM
To make it possible for us to become rich, let's start now. Begin to buy bitcoin and other crypto currencies that have the potential to increase over the years. Maybe we have heard these classic stories already. But this is really the key to our wealth. Do you remember when the price of bitcoin was just 200 $, Imagine if we bought it for 200 $ and will sell it today.
Someone bumped my old thread, but still worth to discuss I guess.

Sure we can make profits and become rich if the price of bitcoin increases at the same rate forever, but it will or not? No one can assure you.

So don't just depend on bitcoin if you want to be rich but make use of the opportunity available.
It seems to me that activities in the cryptocurrency market need to be treated in a special way.  I think that cryptocurrency should be used as an opportunity, but not to rely entirely on activities in the cryptocurrency market.  The fact is that each user should have a different main source of income so as not to create any risks for their home budget.  But it is best to invest every month in the best cryptocurrencies the amount of funds that is not too important for your home budget.  After a while, when the cryptocurrency market grows stronger and grows, this can really make the user very rich.
824  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: October 10, 2019, 06:13:47 PM
How can we get people to use bitcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to get cash as a lot of people seem to do? When I say currency, I mean the literal definition of currency as something that is used as a medium of exchange.
Even online, there are only a few stores who are accepting it as payment.
Honestly, for us crypto users it will be very convenient for us to use bitcoin or cryptocurrency as payment or making transactions instead of using cash, but the problem is that it will be difficult for us to convince everybody to use bitcoin as a currency because there are still a lot of people who doesn't know about bitcoin and not everybody agrees on buying and investing to it. So i think the best way for us to convince everybody to use bitcoin as a currency is by showing every benefits or advantages that they can receive upon having and buying bitcoin as well as other cryptocurrencies.
You do not need to expect every person around the world to use cryptocurrency, because still some people will use fiat currencies, and someone will use digital money, including cryptocurrencies.  I believe that so many factors will affect how many people will use cryptocurrency.  This situation will be determined not only by the age of people, but also by the terrain in certain countries where there is no infrastructure and the Internet, as well as in which countries people live in.  Nevertheless, the global use of cryptocurrency is already possible in the coming years.
825  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: October 10, 2019, 05:24:57 PM
It seems to me that this issue needs to be approached more seriously and carefully, from the point of view of the practical transition of the state to cryptocurrencies today.  We all know that the national currency of any country grows only if there is significant progress in the economy and GDP grows in the country.  But if we are talking about cryptocurrency and that the state completely switches to cryptocurrency, then first you need to have a more stable cryptocurrency market so that cryptocurrency doesn’t bankrupt states at all, because in one day the price may be higher, and after 10 days, the country's cryptocurrency assets will fall in price by 100% or 1000.
826  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worth for me in my situation to start btc trading? on: October 04, 2019, 05:39:43 PM

Very well said. Dreaming high is not bad, it is free, but we need actions to achieve that. Starting in Trading is the hardest thing for me, a lot of things are should be learn thoroughly to acquired knowledge that would help you to build your foundation. Motivation is also needed, that's what is going to make you move forward to achieve your dreams, even that 100% profits in 30 days, you could make that happen.

We just don't stop learning to be big enough, to earn big enough, and to make our dreams big enough in Trading.

It also depends on what run we are in,if its bullish trend then even a trader without an strategy can make 100% profit by trading often (eve without doing anything more profits can be achieved),if it is sideways then perfect for anyone to start trading by learning FA and TA using simple and most common indicators.Bearish is the real challenge for anyone to be in profits and most will fail.
I think that only professional traders today can get a good percentage of trading, because what is happening on the cryptocurrency market does not contribute to the very easy income from their activities.  I am just starting to study trade and little by little, with the help of a small starting capital, in practice I am learning to gain experience, but for some reason I am in the red all the time.
827  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you trade? At the exchange? Platform? Bots? on: October 04, 2019, 04:25:13 PM
There certainly seems to be a majority here trading manually... I'm struggling to understand the argument saying that by trading manually you get to hone your skills... How exactly does that work for you? How does logging in to the exchange and placing an order by filling out a form and clicking submit hone your skills?
It will enhance your knowledge to adopt what the market trends is bringing the situation, trading manually gives us the chance to change our position when market is not moving according to our expectations. Whenever there's a change directions, we can deal with it in the rightful manner, from that point you will be able to create backup plans and new strategy once the first one didn't materialize.

You can do that in an automated fashion as well. You just need to sit a think what to instruct your bot beforehand. If this happens, do this. If that happens, do that. And so on...
Almost all my friends dissuade me from using the trading Bot, since it will not lead to good results.  Subsequently, the trading bot can use your entire balance and leave you 0. If you want to get a really good work experience, then you should do practical exercises and hone your professionalism.  It really will take a lot of time and constant market research.  I’ve been doing this for too long and still can’t call myself a professional.
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this still possible today? on: October 03, 2019, 08:03:07 PM
For some reason, the opinion about old projects that successfully completed ico companies in 2016 and 2017 has changed a lot.  At that time, the only rhetoric sounded that coins of promising projects should be left for long-term storage, but all these projects do not make themselves felt until today.  As it turns out, it is very difficult to choose really promising investments if you do not use the coinmarket rating.
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be used in Money laundering and Terrorism? on: October 03, 2019, 07:17:53 PM
Indeed, today there seems to be a very big problem in laundering dirty money obtained by criminal means, as well as financing of criminal organizations, which is a very big problem in the world.  This situation can be resolved only if state structures control the cryptocurrency and at the same time each owner will provide their passport data.  I believe that this requirement will be mandatory for all cryptocurrency users.
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in multiple altcoins on: October 03, 2019, 06:45:43 PM
Nevertheless, it is better to determine the quality of altcoin or any other coin in the cryptocurrency market by the amount of capitalization.  It is on this rating that I choose the best projects for investment.  Nevertheless, you need to look at the entire history of the development of a project in order to determine its degree of productivity in the future.  I mean, you need to predict how much your deposits will increase in percentage terms. If you decide to invest in some altcoin.  One way or another, ethereum and the top ten Coinmarketcap rankings occupy the lead in my portfolio.
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Cryptocurrency on: October 03, 2019, 06:08:28 PM
If Facebook decided to implement the Libra project as a service that combines all the capabilities of a payment system, with which users can use various services on the network, as well as buy and sell goods, then in this case no one would impede the development of such a project.  But the fact that Libra intends to become an independent system in general, which is controlled only by the Facebook administration, it is clear that this situation will keep very many, and especially the governments of many states, in suspense.  I understand that in many respects we blame governments and do not trust our government, but nevertheless there are certain laws in countries where governments cannot ignore certain rules.  When the government controls the money of its citizens, there are certain reasons for this and the relevant laws.  But when the money will be concentrated only on Facebook, and if problems arise, then whom will we blame and where to look for justice?  The recent buzz due to the leak of personal data of users of social networks has not yet subsided.  If there are problems with this, then how can money be safe?  I think that in this situation, not only governments, but also many people are wary of the Libra project.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: October 02, 2019, 06:34:34 PM
In any case, in my opinion, each account should be very secure.  It is the resource that should offer the user multilevel protection, which includes checking by phone number, email, two-factor authentication, and so on.  I believe that in the first place, it is the user who can be guilty of the leak of his personal data, due to which the attacker can take over someone else's account.  But there are other situations because of which the administration of the resource must provide certain options for restoring access to the account for the account of the true owner.
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Tron? on: October 01, 2019, 09:02:16 PM
It seems to me that the Tron development team has not yet reached its goal to present a fully-fledged decentralized content network, although it can be said that Tron has already become very successful in creating dApp platforms for decentralized applications on top of the Tron blockchain.  According to the ratings, the Top Ten apps include those created using the Tron.
834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next year cryptocurrency market on: October 01, 2019, 08:51:00 PM
Every year at least there will be a change, whether it is a positive or negative change. But if we look at the situation this time of year, then I assume that next year will be a good season for the cryptocurrency market, I just don't want to despair because of the situation of the ongoing bear market, there is still time to end the year and I feel at this last quarter is a good time for the market to start recovering.
It is likely that your forecast will turn out to be correct, since up to today it would be possible to predict a positive development of events in the cryptocurrency market, but all indicators have changed for the worse due to negative news in the media.  Someone constantly prints their negative statements or concerns, and cryptocurrency users naturally perceive all this inadequately and the cryptocurrency market accordingly reacts very sharply to this.
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1000x potential token on: October 01, 2019, 08:23:52 PM
I participated in many Bounty companies, where I received a revival in tokens.  Now I do not regret that I sold a significant part of token and got a real opportunity not only to realize my dreams, but also to buy more popular cryptocurrencies on the market.  Of course, most of the coins are still on my wallets, but today their value is almost zero.  But I believed in their prospects and therefore left it for storage.  Now I am also sure that tokens are coins with almost fleeting value.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should I start buying ICOs again on: October 01, 2019, 07:48:02 PM
It is very clearly seen that most of the reviews of bitcointalk users negatively relate to investments in ico companies and this is correct, because many of them lost their funds because of this.  But there can be exceptions only if the investor is really familiar with the new project and has full confidence in the integrity of the development team and in the prospects of this project.
837  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell btc on: September 26, 2019, 06:30:46 PM
What I understand from your post is you already earn a good profit from your btc and you want to sell it but you are worried in case the price will continue to grow.

Here is my little advise for you, if your investment is for long time then it's better that you will set a target price when you are going to sell your holdings in order to have a clearer goal. But make sure that your target price is within the range of possible price before hitting the peak of price. For ex. you can set it to sell in 16k$.
You really gave very good advice to set a goal for yourself what price level to expect for all your assets.  The fact is that I divide alarmists in the cryptocurrency market into two groups.  The first group is those people who start to panic due to price fluctuations and do not know what to expect and how to react.  Based on this, they have a desire to sell coins at the prices that are available for a given period, if a further reduction in prices occurs.  But there is another group of people that does not have a specific goal to achieve which you can calm down and get an income.  I believe that it is best to adhere to the opinion that the cryptocurrency market can still return to the indicators of the end of 2017, but perhaps for this you need to wait a year or two.  In any case, long-term investments will bring good returns, but for this you need to be patient.
838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should we do ? on: September 26, 2019, 05:41:51 PM
Guys, I’m sure that no one can forbid the inhabitants of India to use cryptocurrency, especially trade on cryptocurrency exchanges and earn good income.  The fact is that even if there is a ban at the legislative level, then with the help of certain software everyone will be able to use foreign resources for trade.  Of course, it will be necessary to cash out cryptocurrency into fiat funds in other ways, so as not to attract the attention of the government.  But using Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency as a means of payment will be prohibited.  And as I understand it, almost all Indian citizens who work in the cryptocurrency market are trying to earn income in order to become financially independent, and not in order to use cryptocurrency to buy goods or pay their bills.
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Adopt New coins ? on: September 26, 2019, 05:11:29 PM
If someone expresses a negative opinion about Bitcoin, or maybe gives examples of other altcoin, which in his opinion will be somewhat better than Bitcoin, then this will undoubtedly cause a wave of indignation among Bitcoin fans.  I think that no one in my opinion wants to take away the Bitcoin Glory and its merits to users and the cryptocurrency market in general, but we must nevertheless admit that there are certain factors where Bitcoin passes to other cryptocurrencies.  I want to give an example of the Doge Coin coin, which was generally created as something that contradicted Bitcoin and as a mockery, but nevertheless this coin is highly valued in practice among cryptocurrency users and makes it possible to even use it as a means of payment, which was originally expected from Bitcoin  .  Nevertheless, we are still at the very beginning of the development of the cryptocurrency market and it is very difficult to predict what awaits us in the future.
840  Economy / Economics / Re: Time for investment on: September 25, 2019, 06:44:09 PM
Almost 20% of the loss of the same type of crypto-curly as Bitcoin and the ether comprominally indicates the possibility of a bear market for a long period. But only in the last few days the price fluctuations are about 1% and I think this indicates a minimum level of decline, after which the correction will follow, and we must again expect an improvement in positions on the crypto-currency market. I believe that the current situation is not peculiar to such cases when there are good reasons for bullish run. Even after the launch of Bitcoin, futures, all expected the active growth of the price for Bitcoin, but there I would not have analyzed the current state of the crypto-currenical market with standard methods. Based on this, I would make maximum use of the external state of the cryptocurrency market for profitable investments, while prices are below.
