821  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ascent of Bitcoin Price on: July 30, 2019, 10:37:51 AM
Do you think Bitcoin will cross its all time high of $19,783 by the end of 2019?
Short answer:

For short-term (End of 2019): No
For Mid-term (2020-2029): Maybe
For long-term (10 years later): Yes

823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why president Donald trump is not a fan of bitcoin? on: July 16, 2019, 05:13:50 PM
He is not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies
The answer is simple, because Bitcoin is against any governments and their economic policy.

Yes, I also think so, you need a listing on as many exchanges as possible, the coin has a future

No. this coin has no future
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Taonacoin [TNA] PoW GPU Mining | Asset Transfer Blockchain | Raven Fork on: June 13, 2019, 05:25:56 AM
It is a fork of the Ravencoin code.

Fork should happen at same bockchain. what kind of fork it is?

I participated in repayment program but it has been stopped around %70 for months and it gains %1 every month. Anyone knows How long will this process continue?
This process of reimbursement is not really wise and fair. They should get loan and debt members faster.

Hello EOS community,
I am new to this coin. Is there any open source light wallet? I found Atomicwallet but seems it isn't open source.

I am happy today as finally the total Marketcap is now $200 billion, what can we expect from here?

https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/

Don't be so happy. the total Marketcap was about $700-800 Billion almost a years ago.

@Darooghe,

IIRC refraction tables are produced by the proven hoaxers and liars at NASA. If the object you're viewing isn't directly above you at 90° then, it's going to be affected by refraction to some degree.
Are you serious?
Buy a Refractometer and measuring the refractive index of air yourself. You don't need NASA to do science!

You're a fucking retard or a paid (or otherwise compensated) shill; a refractometer is for testing samples in the laboratory.

You can not proof your science with insult others! Light behaves same everywhere under Snell's law whether on laboratory or atmosphere until you prove the opposite. Build or buy a refractometer and do science yourself. The below link is a guideline.

@Darooghe,

As I stated you're seeing an apparent Sun (not the Sun's actual position) from the perspective of an observer on the ground. The atmosphere creates a lensing effect due to refraction and, perspective along with convergence also effects the apparent position of the Sun or any celestial objects that are visible. The only time refraction doesn't come into play is when viewing an object directly above you at 90 degrees.

The next time you're swimming dive underwater and look up at objects on the surface, again it's not the most accurate simulation but you'll get an idea of how refraction works. Try to grab objects above the water, you'll find they're not where they appear to be.
Refractive index of air is almost 1.0003 so there is a slight difference between actual sun and apparent sun in reality. But you need a extra large refractive index of air for explaining equinoxes on azimuthal map projection. Are you saying scientists lying to us about refractive index of air?

...
A close and small object (like sun) at 3000 miles altitude can not explain equinoxes.
Research it!

OK I researched it:

The apparent position of the Sun during the equinoxes (caused by atmospheric lensing combined with the perspective of an observer at sea level) is consistent with an approximate distance of 3,000 miles as measured directly by a sextant.

Proof your sceince and explain more!
On a equinox sun sets due west and rise due east for every observer. it can not happen for a small and close sun at azimuthal map projection even with atmospheric lensing combined with the perspective of an observer at sea level.

I will believe in the Flat Eart theory if you can justify the earth angle in that theory. Let me explain.

Earth has a 23.5° Inclination, and that's how we explain the 24h night in South pole and 24h day in North pole.

https://scienceblogs.com/files/startswithabang/files/2010/06/axial-tilt.jpg

So, in the Flat Earth theory what's the angle? Our planet has an inclination?

The Earth is a stationary plain and the Sun is a small, optically projected object off of a mirrored dome that moves in an circular path above us. It's about 32 miles wide with an altitude of about 3,000 miles according to direct measurement with a sextant. As the Sun does its 24 hour daily cycle, throughout the year it moves closer to the central point at the north pole, then back again. This yearly cycle back and forth creates the various seasons and the changing length of day and night.

A close and small object (like sun) at 3000 miles altitude can not explain equinoxes.
Research it!

837  Economy / Speculation / Re: IS IT TIME TO BUY MORE BITCOIN? on: April 23, 2019, 10:59:02 PM
The right time depends on you, nobody can tell you that. The right time is when you decide come bear or bull your ready to take the risk. If anybody can predict crypto then he/she is a billionaire then. Just buy when your ready.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Prediction 2019 – ETH Price May Touch $1450 In 2019 on: April 23, 2019, 02:21:29 AM
The expectation of the Ethereum price really can hit at least $1000 at the end of this year or even next year.  However now, the price is still under $200. This still needs more times to grow and progress. After all, if we are thinking about future investment, at this time, it is a great time to add the amount of our investment in ETH because the price is still very low.I know that the price of Ethereum is slowly but surely rising
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Crypto now? on: April 21, 2019, 08:54:40 PM
I am excited about the technology pump that will happen through 2019. I'm closely watching Cosmos, Cardano, Zilliqa and Rchain, mainly because I think they will produce significant improvements and advantages over Ethereum and Bitcoin tech. But I think they all have their own unique problems in their platform architecture or governance structures and we won't know for real if they're any good until all the code is published and running out there in the wild, which happens hopefully by the end of this year for most of them.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XMY] Myriad | Multi-Algo, Fair, Secure on: April 21, 2019, 04:30:04 PM
Less active community respect to similar coins Digibyte and Qubitcoin but still alive. Multi-algorithm and merge-mine were great idea because keeps the coin alive.
Nothing good will happen unless we all work for it. There's no company behind Myriad. On the other hand, I think it's community coins that will really shine when they eventually do. To me 'company coin' kinda goes against Cryptocurrency principles. The best coins such as Bitcoin and Monero are community coins like us, and they took a long time to get off the ground too.

I think that Myriad is one of the best coins for beginners to get into. It's just so friendly and easy to mine, And pretty similar to Bitcoin. So what you learn here can be applied to the rest of the Crypto-system.
