821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poll for favourite cryptos used on Gambling. on: March 21, 2020, 06:13:02 AM
What i used the most is BTC, ETH and XRP because that's the crypto currency that is default in most gambling sites, i dont really have much of a preference when it comes to using crypto. As long as the site provides a decent winrate, has big returns, with provably fair to insure legitimacy with good jackpot prices and bonuses.
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this the best time to teach about bitcoin? on: March 21, 2020, 12:12:48 AM
I would say if Bitcoin is properly taught like an article of youtube video explaining its merits, benefits and ways to earn, people will start to get onboard and will start wanting it. With the growing number of freelancers, i think they could easily understand how to use or buy and earn in BTC.
Especially with the virus people are in fear to go outside and interact with others, thus making cash useless.
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin has an identity crisis now? on: March 21, 2020, 12:08:31 AM
Bitcoin's true purpose will be proven when the financial crisis goes extremely severe and fiat currencies loses its value, people will start to shift their interest towards protecting their money. The flash crash occured because people needed to cover losses, if the banks continues money printing then this would inflate and lower the purchasing power of paper money. Then from there we would see Bitcoin will decouple from stock.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Physically vs Gambling Online Using Crypto on: March 20, 2020, 01:52:33 PM
Indeed this is 101% true, you can play online gambling without funds this is one of the reasons why i keep playing in casino's is because even though your already wagered all your money, you can still have a comeback freely without needing to borrow and loan money. These online gambling actually offers it.
And anonymity is a must for me considering my country bans online gambling so playing with it in Cryptocurrency is pretty convenient.
825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horseracing & Greyhounds covid19 shutdown on: March 20, 2020, 01:46:21 PM
It's not only horse racing but all other sports are cancelled, in the meantime we should take this time as a vacation for gambling. But if you're really a gambler by heart then we need to find some alternatives like online casino's. Sports betting sites should also consider adding more games than just sports in order to not lose any customers.
826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading by Italian Banks on: March 20, 2020, 11:26:45 AM
l could see why they've done this, it is because the covid virus rapidly infect thousand of people and the death toll have risen significantly. The Italian government realize that people should not use cash to buy stuff cause it may also contain the virus. In times like this, cryptocurrency payment is a much more safer and viable way to prevent the furthering of disease. This event will prove Bitcoin's true usefulness.
827  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Halving succeed with Currently Situation on: March 20, 2020, 11:21:33 AM
With the massive quantitative easing doing by the fed to save economy, it's actually doing the opposite as they're only making matters worse. If they continue mass printing of money then it would make loyal fiat and stock investors flee the monetary and will start to look for decentralize system which where Bitcoin would come in.
828  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is there anyway to buy alcohol online with bitcoin? on: March 20, 2020, 10:31:39 AM
Most ecommerce also sell clothes, accessories and gadgets try searching it i guess maybe you'll find one. All i know when it comes to things like that food, beverages and sanitizers and personal necessities could only be found in Grocery store.
Maybe an online seller with those products you can get one or in facebook, i've seen they're kind of diverse there with lots of variety of products.
829  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Beat CoinMarketCap on: March 20, 2020, 10:25:53 AM
I usually get my price updates from Crypto youtubers cause i need their financial advise. Coinmarketcap is one of my go to places for price reference it has more extended tools and you can see the biggest winners and losers if the price pumps or dumps.
It has also has a nice additional metadata of the tokens and BTC dominance.
830  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus is very harmful to fiat currencies, not bitcoin on: March 20, 2020, 09:34:56 AM
Without people spending money to travel, buy products and pay for services the value of a currency will surely plunge. I wonder how much the current monetary system could hold against the corona outbreak and financial crisis. Better prepare to find alternative safe havens to store money cause looks like the banks are barely holding even their methods to stimulate the economy is not working.
831  Economy / Economics / Re: a disease or a virus or is there business in it? on: March 20, 2020, 09:21:40 AM
There are also rumors and conspiracy theory roaming around about this. Even some government official in china accused the US government for spreading in it. Because patient zero or the man with the virus came at US first. But i dont want to suspect anything until there's a conclusive proof about this.
Maybe this is actually man made or not. Honestly time will tell.
832  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to buy Bitcoin (since halving is coming) on: March 20, 2020, 06:02:58 AM
There exchanges/custodial wallets that lets you buy Bitcoin quick and easy and avoid third party transactions or over the counter sellers cause you might be risking your money and credit card unless you really trust the guy or someone would vouch for him. The ways to buy Bitcoin are Bitcoin ATM, Coinbase or in Binance i believe they have pairs of dollars also.

833  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any good KYCless exchange ? on: March 20, 2020, 05:56:38 AM
Most popular exchanges requires KYC or personal data of their user due to a country's regulations but there is one exchange where i find it trustworthy without risking your money again due to bankruptcy, it is Yobit. Simple exchange, various pairs and no KYC required. Although there are lags but your money is guaranteed safe from experience. FYI im not affiliated to the site, im just recommending it to you.
834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play gambling that require skills and techniques. on: March 20, 2020, 05:05:14 AM
Yes upon playing tons of games you'll start to form some kind of strategy. For me i rarely play gambling games that i know im not gonna win. So i try to find more sites and new sites cause they're the ones with most high probability of winning.
I recently discovered sports bettings and i like it because it has no luck required, it is not in the state of randomness when it comes to winning like most gambling games. You'll actually get to analyze who's gonna win.
835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Corona virus (COVID19) Effect in Cryptocurrency Gambling on: March 20, 2020, 04:55:38 AM
The only gambling site that will be affected are those based in sports betting types. But for online casino's it will be business as usual, in fact as you might said most people right now are vacant. So they'll surely look for alternatives to keep them occupied such as online casino's, these will actually benefit them.
836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoins is helping during the lockdown on: March 20, 2020, 12:28:17 AM
Lockdowns will not stop the virus from spreading. It will still spread, although not as fast, and will cause panic and chaos if it takes months to be lifted. If people are not going to be tested for the virus, a lockdown is not of much help. On the other hand, we have the recent 17yo boy from South Korea who's been tested 8 times in a row with negative results and then died; after his death, the DNA resulted in a COVID-19 positive. So now I'm wondering... how useful is testing in reality?

Making someone invest in cryptocurrencies during these times is a possible game-over for them in my opinion. You don't want BTC to fall down once again and remind yourself about the family you tried saving by convincing them to invest in BTC - the family has much less money now thanks to your suggestion. And now if they want to get back their fiat, the process involves the possibility of getting scammed, the commissions and, if these weren't enough, they'll have less value than they started with in the end.

Advertising the forum, on the other hand, is a completely different thing. Let them know they can gather a lot of knowledge by spending their time on BitcoinTalk during the lockdown. After a while, maybe they'll be part of a signature campaign and will stack up their BTC. 2-in-1. Smiley

To be honest, Bitcoin isn't helping me very much during the quarantine but the forum is. It's helping me very much actually. Spending time on here makes time pass way quicker so there's less time to think about the worst. Cheesy

The lockdown is used to delay the virus, yes it's not a guarantor to stop it but what our government is planning is to wait until the recent vaccine that's been submitted for testing gets approved. I think that's they're planning to do.
If they dont implement a lock then it will be a huge massacre like in Italy.
As for me, Bitcoin is helping a lot especially with no other sources of income and a family to feed. This is a third world country so $30 a week is enough.
837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fraud crypto analysts! on: March 20, 2020, 12:20:41 AM
For me that is not good in technicals to predict price movements i dont trust most signal groups, i only trust Crypto influencers from youtube that's doing live trading technical analysis and has a good supporters and subscribers. That's mostly makes good calls and shares nlknowledge about the upcoming financial crisis, thanks to that crypto youtuber, i've switch to Bitcoin before the great depression.
838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the terms you decide on which casino to play? on: March 19, 2020, 01:45:39 PM
Perhaps i assess casino sites based on their winrate cause some of them are really extremely hard to make money on, while in other site the percentage of you always winning is quite high. So that's one of my criteria, another one is having a provably fair feature, it offers more security and legitimacy unlike gambling games like Yobit about their dice games that's obviously manipulated when you have a winstreak.
839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DOTA2 The International 2020 on: March 19, 2020, 01:39:22 PM
Sadly it might get cancelled if the virus persist after all they wouldn't risk getting players sick. If ever the virus is clear and we might expect vaccines soon. In my perspective OG and Secret are my favorites right now, as Nigma and Tnc they went downhill perhaps they're still in the mood of lossing excitement in a match after becoming champions. But hopefully the virus is cleared so we can also once again enjoy betting games and winning profits.
840  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you ready for the Halving ??? Not that Halving, the PRICE Halving of Bitcoin on: March 19, 2020, 12:51:26 PM
Stocks and Cryptocurrency are actually correlated, if your an investor then you must know that the price fell because of the financial crisis because most of them are also invested in Bitcoin (it's called diversifying) so when their investment failed in stocks they have to cover their losses by liquidating their Bitcoins to pay debts.

So initially BTC will do bad in the recession, if you still dont see it. Your highly praised stock market is on the brink of collapse. If you dont realize it then you might get rekt.
