That's a valid concern and freezal got it right: the network had to start centralized and no one's showed up yet with the needed reputation and credibility. I'm going to use every opportunity to relinquish control over 11 out of 12 witnesses in favor of reputable individuals/organizations/companies that are willing to be part of the network. That would make the network only stronger thanks to both their involvement and the network becoming more decentralized.
You could have an election for 12 witnesses like Komodo did for their 64 notary nodes.

I have suggestion, lock this thread and start a new moderated one, delete all fud posts, BUT, copy all deleted posts to an unmoderated 'trash' thread. That way nothing is censored, but the main thread is easier to read. Only objections to moderated threads is censorship, but if all deleted posts are still viewable in another place nobody can complain.
Here is my suggestion, let's keep this thread and anyone who wants to have a new thread can go and create a new thread and post into the new thread? Sounds like a good idea! I like this thread, just because some people want to censor this thread we should not allow it! This is a perfectly fine thread! ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgflip.com%2F1jkmjs.jpg&t=663&c=ye7sCMO4u3mfLw) Yes, that would work also, make this the 'trash' thread and start a new moderated thread elsewhere. I don't like censorship, but what's happening here is pointless now. If stewie makes any good points and valid criticism nobody sees anymore coz he's too verbose, and most have him on ignore, but if he makes a succinct critique in a moderated thread it should, and would, stay imo. I just want more effective thread

Ok, so dev of VPN is still active, good news!

SuperDAO is governed by the the crowd (any and everybody across the globe or outside of it including martians). It has a very active core that anyone can join. It is not a "registered company", nor is it relegated to any jurisdiction. Its a global blockchain based organization incentivized to coorperate and of which membership are determined by access tokens called Superneums or SUP.
Its core mission is to provide value to customers by disrupting industries with decentralized dapp alternatives that remove middlemen cost and also to increase the value of its membership tokens SUP for token holders through value generated from its products and services i.e Pokereum, Dappsery "Stealth dapp*"...
Because of it the decentralized governance infrastructure pepole around the world can be empowerd to participate and The mission ensures that all participators incentives are aligned to cooperate and to enable the organization to thrive.
Tl:dr Its a DAO that was iterated on and existed way before "the DAO" was, and the design is not in misalignment with the crowd swarming incentives as opposed to the "splitting" and or the complexffity that was found the famous "the DAO" and enables the catastrophe
Thank you for detailed answer! SuperDAO looks like very good project, with real world potent́al to grow large and change how business can happen in 21st century. Many crypto projects look very amateurish with no bother to organise governance solution. Real world needs more than forum thread and slack to organise priorities and assess progress. The DAO structure allows proper decentralized economics. Very interesting! Are the smart contracts for dao operation launched yet? Yes, we are going to transform how people collaborate going into the future. We have launched the starting state of the DAO which is explained in this blog post : https://blog.superdao.io/a-deeper-look-into-the-promissory-token-of-superdao-88db0860f562#.fx3kfrb44 A simple overview of the DAO itself is explained here : https://blog.superdao.io/on-superdao-simple-overview-of-an-efficient-dao-73efc74362a1#.uz9ovpylkThe above basically tells you about relevance of the initial state and how to get involved with the deployed contract as explained here : https://blog.superdao.io/superdao-pioneers-claiming-your-promissory-tokens-superneum-promissory-52a9c30b514a#.i6bitr9p9It makes early participators/backers pioneers at 40% discount off the tokens and only a limited amount of tokens. Goodluck ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Thank you, I understand how the DAO is intended to function now, it is very well conceived! So many crypto projects rely heavily on one or two people, very chaotic, very unstable and random. What you have with the DAO can scale without any human points of failure. I think SuperDAO is project to watch.

Where can I download wallet from?

Does BBR have any bootstrap download to speed up sync time?
BBR not Synchronous unstable at this time Ok, it would really help adoption if the dev team could organise Lite wallet Remote node to connect to Bootstrap download I bought some bbr, but moving them around is very difficult, I don't have good internet access

Website is offline. Is project alive? How to use VPN(it it possible to use vpn?)? Can't sync wallet.
same here cannot connect, look like this project is abondoned. hope l m wrong I have 27 connections ... some people using this coin, maybe no response from dev coz he hides from chinese authorities now. Wallet looks very advanced imo. I've got 48 connections ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I think VPNcoin dev has done as Satoshi did, and he disappear to protect his identity. This is wise, getting caught organising VPN software in China would be BIG problem. I too getting lots of connections, so the wallet has many users still.

interested all of these early coins will be collectable one day for sure I kind of like the name of this coin too. It's a shame it was not maintained at a higher level. come on bring it back and give it a revamp ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I agree, first generation 'anything' always have some appeal as a collectable. Reviving old coins makes more sense than starting new coin, and PhilosopherStone is a good name!

Why not just accept the obvious fact: This coin is dead and these pitiful rescue attempts without dev or code are senseless.
I disagree, pitiful rescue attempts can be the foundations on which something new can be built. People like a challenge, if someone could revive the blockchain it would attract support, and maybe a new dev, or maybe even the original dev gets a second wind. No harm in trying. Excuse me sir. I am sure you are an expert. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) You are now 10 days registered here and you believe you know how things here are working. Show me only one successful attempt to revive a coin. Trying something difficult is not senseless, I know this before I ever heard of crypto currencies. If there are people willing to try and revive this blockchain, who are you to tell them it is senseless ... you don't like a challenge, but some others might.

For example, say 1KMD = 1.00USD at the time you did a paxdeposit, you deposit your KMD and receive KMDUSD. Say the next day, KMD takes a huge hit and halves in price, now 1KMD =0.50USD. If you were to do a paxredeem, you would receive 2KMD back. It is a bit more complicated than this, but its the general idea of how pax works
If you paxdeposit 1 kmd , how can you paxredeem 2 kmd back? Where did the second 1 kmd come from?

Even if this get fixed it is already too late because too many coins were distributed unevenly.
POS + POP forging is NOT like POW where rewards decline quickly. Stage 1 forging persists for >1 year and 1-2 days is about 0.3% of that, about 1/1000 of total rewards for 4 years. While network stability is worked on as priority one, I personally don't see the fuss about short periods of twisted distribution being caused by necessities in the early phases. No forgers are favored intentionally, so everyone has equal chance even now however limited by technical aspects involved. I've been forging with up to date wallet for two days but always seem to be 10-12 blocks behind the block explorer, any solution to this? Have restarted and resynced many times with no change. Is there a setting I can use to catch up so I can forge properly? Thanks

Distribution of bytes is complete, about 17,610 GB distributed, which is worth around $1m at the current price.
Distribution of blackbytes is still under way, it'll take much longer.
Thank you tonych. At this rate the BB won't be fully distributed for many months, maybe a few years. Are you considering increasing rates to speed things up?
