I have an issue when try to send kmd from iguana wallet (windows 7).
The message of error is this:
info: couldnt create rawtx

I try to reinstall last version, deleting the appdata folder, but doesn't work

try leaving a few kmd in the wallet. Do not empty the wallet. I think this is a bug.

1) What happens with my REVS if I withdraw my KMD to an exchange (i.e.: Bittrex).

2) Where can I trade REVS? Is there an overview?

3) What do you think its better: Transfer directly to an exchange or first in the wallet.

It is good you asked!

1) DONT payout to exchange if you have REVS! The REVS will go to the same address and unless the exchange both supports REVS and has the identical address assigned to you, the REVS will be lost

2) Only manually for now, or using command line DEX API, so not very convenient. We are waiting for GUI support of REVS before we can suggest exchanges support it.

3) if you have REVS, then to wallet first!

It was added to Bittrex just now. You question is irrelevant. Polo will add it as soon as they see substantial everyday volume. Not if, when.
It takes time to get a hinge on how it'll go. Simple rule - look at the number of high rank accounts posting. Github is your friend. Trust no one, do your own decisions.

P.S. There is also that REVs question always hovering around. That asset has no value as of now, it will probably produce some income in a year or two, but as of now it's pretty much useless except of the promise of some gains in the future. I would just unload them when they start trading and buy some back in 6-7 months.

I tried sending a little KMD from cryptox to my iguana komodo wallet yesterday and it still haven't showed up yet.  the iguana EasyDEX is acting weird too, sometimes kicks me off the wallet showing connection error.

also i keep reading to pick native mode for komodo node, but there is not native mode. 

I understand it's still beta, so i didn't try to send too many at once. so when is the next version of the platform coming out as it seems it's still a bit buggy.

Komodo's decentralized exchange is developed,  it goes under the name InstantDEX ( EasyDEX).    https://github.com/jl777/libjl777/tree/master/plugins/InstantDEX
However, it still needs tested and GUIfied, however we have confirmed live atomic cross-blockchain swaps,  so the core code works.

It is different from other decentralized exchanges in that there is no third party escrow/arbiter, whether its an actual person like in BitSquare or a Platform like in NXT .   The exchange is done through atomic cross-blockchain swaps.


Here's how the the Pegged Asset Exchange tackles the fiat problem:

Ready-made blockchain solution for crypto-fiat transfers.   Currently, many places have to go through several hoops to convert a national currency into crypto, whether its through a payment processor, like Visa or offering their own in-house solution.  Even worse, when you get the crypto, the price could wildly swing up or down.   PAXFiat allows for Komodo to be pegged to 32 different national currencies.  Upon doing a paxdeposit with Komodo  it gives you a corresponding amount of  KMD(fiat).   For example, say  1KMD = 1.00USD at the time you did a paxdeposit,  you deposit your KMD and receive KMDUSD.  Say the next day, KMD takes a huge hit and halves in price, now 1KMD =0.50USD.  If you were to do a paxredeem,  you would receive 2KMD back.   It is a bit more complicated than this, but its the general idea of how pax works

And PAX is just the beginning,  the technology opens the doorway for crypto-forex trading, crypto-commodity trading, options trading,  even a mirror market of traditional platforms.  Don't  want to peg your currency to USD  how about to Amazon instead,  KMDAMAZON  lol     Currently only the 32 currencies are available but the principle can be applied to any type of investment vehicle.   Who knows what the future will hold for PAX,  but it definitely is an implementation to keep an eye on.

Now if I try adding komodo as 2nd coin; iguanna chokes with multiple msgs of unable to connet to x ip address.

I DID NOT HIT create new wallet. Addy was registered to network as soon as I selected coin.

Also, I could not get the explorer to show balance for 1st (original)  addy.

Have I lost my 1st addy and the coin tied to it?

Did I understand correctly, when you launch Iguana app it automatically logs in with some random seed? Try closing the app and then make sure all the Iguana processes are closed from the task manager. Then launch the app again. There is a bug where the Iguana app doesn't close properly, and some processes are still running even though you think you closed the app.

In any case, your coins have not been lost as they exist in the blockchain. The Iguana app is just used to monitor your balance.

I am genuinely surprised on how stable KMD is on Bittrex. I expected a big dump (or pump) and instead there is no shock and terror as it is usually the case! Very cool!
