821  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: August 31, 2017, 04:47:38 AM
It depends on what you want to do. If you want to make fast profit than it is better to sell them and buy some altcoins. If you want to take some long run, than just keep them and get some big profit after an year or two Smiley
That's correct, buy altcoin is much better than to save or hold it, because buying altcoin is one the fastest way of earnings in bitcoin were your capital can be double or more. Although, savings was also a good thing but the rolling capital is too slow to obtain profit.

823  Local / Pamilihan / Re: FreeBitco.in 10000 ROLL SPIN on: August 30, 2017, 07:26:27 AM

824  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: August 30, 2017, 06:38:38 AM

Today many countries accept bitcoin as a virtual currency, is it because bitcoin is so high that they think bitcoin can change the country's economy, or because the country has many bitcoin users already?
Absolutely yes, it can help the improvement in the economy of each country. That's why if you will notice, there are some countries like Japan, China, and India were bitcoin is already legalized to their country as alternative currency. Which means, it can give a big benefits to their government in terms of economy.
825  Economy / Economics / Re: Three reasons to invest in Bitcoin on: August 30, 2017, 06:30:38 AM
Quote
1. It’s gaining mainstream credibility as industry players consider it as the new gold – Bitcoin has many of the same qualities of gold, whose value is not controlled by governments.
Only major problem our governments have with bitcoin is there is less revenue been collected as it continues to become popular.

Quote
2. Many investors and finance industry experts are serious about the promise of Bitcoin – A large number of mainstream investors and entrepreneurs already consider Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as a legitimate asset class.
We need more mainstream investors to endorse bitcoin if we want to see it go to the moon

Quote

3. There is only a limited amount of Bitcoin – There are only 21 million Bitcoin tokens to be mined and no new tokens will appear until after 2140. This makes Bitcoin a deflationary currency whose value increases naturally with time.

Source here.

This is a very solid reason to give investors and holders hope of the value going up with time as bitcoin as proved to continued to gain in support from people all over the world and the small total number of coins will contribute to the value of the btccoins

Exactly, that's why no wonder why bitcoin now is getting higher it is because the supply is very limited compared in the numbers of populations in the whole world. So, for me as long as I can afford to buy bitcoin I will take the chance to do it then hold it for the future.
826  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: August 30, 2017, 05:55:03 AM
As of right now, the bitcoin price is expected to keep going up in the next 20 years. But can it last that long? I believe it's possible. But can't it crash at a random time? Like the price going down hard.
Indeed, that is true the price value of bitcoin is going up more. The longevity of bitcoin is in the hand of the bitcoin users. particularly, if the demand of the investors get high it will be favor to all users especially who hold their coins. Which means, as much as the investors of bitcoin is continuously using it will be forever exist.
827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Taxi on: August 30, 2017, 05:37:15 AM
Currently, Bitcoin cannot support such low payments, the average transaction fees for a $10-$20 are approximately $1.5-2. It's way too much for daily usage.
Aside from that, If the fare is 4 dollars then the transaction fees  is 1 to 2 dollars that wouldn't be good anyway. Though, it is sounds good to hear but there is a leak disadvantages that I saw. But if they can find a way to plan this, why not Wink
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Asia on: August 30, 2017, 05:24:21 AM

829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and governments on: August 30, 2017, 05:17:59 AM
Hi btkers , discussion about the relationship between governments and cryptocurrencies.
Why don't governments officialise the use of cryptocurrencies .
Can these cryptocurrencies affect countries economy?
How can the government do that, if bitcoin or cryptocurrencies are decentralized, we all know  government in each is country are centralized. Therefore, for making it officialize  that won't be happen as long as it is decentralize.
830  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: August 29, 2017, 04:58:25 AM
Hi , I'm new so basically I still have a lot to learn about the cryptocurrency , but I would like to know if it would be possible for the bitcoin to start the downfall ? I mean like what scenario can happen that the bitcoin would be pushed back like 5-6 years ?
Sorry if my post is in the wrong place or it's not relevant.
That would only be happen if the community of bitcoin and users will be gone away. But that won't be happen of course, bitcoin is just only starting the real journey now. Though, price of bitcoin is getting much higher compare 3 months ago isn't?
831  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: August 29, 2017, 03:47:09 AM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

These people stored bitcoins in their wallet as a savings for them and when the time bitcoin price will reach higher price in the market, they will sell their holdings so that profit will be earned. In this way of holding bitcoin amount is really a profitable aspects of investments and you will have mo hard times convicing other people to buy products, and you only need is bitcoin balances in your wallet.

It is true that holding coins was proven and tested that in the end it will give us a big reward, if we will become patience only. Especially into bitcoin, the expectation of the community in it was too high about the prediction by next year in the value of bitcoin.
832  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: August 29, 2017, 02:57:26 AM
Which one suits you the most?
If your are using desktop or laptop electrum is the best for it and Multibit.hd, then Myetherwallet. Now if you are using android mobile phone Mycelium, Bitpay, and Coinomi are those good to use. Never use ethereum wallet came from the android mobile phone this is my opinion for the security of your portpolio on your MEW.
833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: August 29, 2017, 02:36:03 AM
Well, first time i earning bitcoin just for buy some Steam Wallet. But now Bitcoin its just Alternative money for me in the future. Because maybe i need it in the future for my family so i keep earning and save it.
That's what most community thought about in bitcoin, it is an alternative money for the future. But for me, bitcoin is true money, why? even it is not physically touch but it can convert into a real cash/money when it happen I can use it whatever I want to use it, whether for prime commodities, billings and others.

839  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: August 26, 2017, 06:56:19 AM
After the events of last week.

I was making this suggestion to some folks yesterday, but they claimed that bitcoin is too small.  Does it matter?

When you talk about crypto currency, I would agree that BTC is the strongest currency in the world. Bitcoin already claimed it's place in crypto currency, it's so famous, there's a lot of investment, and it keeps growing as days pass by. No one knows until when and how much will it grow. Bitcoin started with a price of less than a dollar and just look how much it is now. So, I guess no need to add more whether BTC is the strongest or not.
I comprehend you with your answer mate, bitcoin could be the strongest currency "IN THE NEAR FUTURE" its not being negative about the status of bitcoin but the reality powerful currency was still US Dollar, bitcoin for now is in due process and we never know when will it happen that bitcoin can become the world currency, nobody knows.
840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do your children a favour and save bitcoin NOW on: August 26, 2017, 05:53:18 AM
Why not it seems like a good choice to save for our future even if its not bitcoin Fiat could also be a good way.
Even if we still don't have a kid right now let's try to save for future expenses .

Whenever saving bitcoin was a good choice, especially if we are talking about the future of our kids. while waiting for the future, the price value of bitcoin is also moving towards going to more than 10,000$ which is a good thing to hold our coins in a long term isn't right?
