It depends on you and the results of your analysis, if you think that selling BTC to buy altcoins is the right choice for you, then do it. But, i think it's better to hold both because both are equally beneficial and to reduce the risk if one experiences a decline. |

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL.  Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time.  I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community. I think that is the right choice because you sell XVG for you to re-invest in another coin, and the strategy you do is successful because the coins that you invest start to increase even though you feel a little disappointed because you didn't sell XVG when it reached its highest point. But, it does not become a problem and does not need to be regretted, continue what you have done and make it an experience. |

Yep patience is really needed, some people are impatient and want fast results in cryptocurrency that makes them sometimes feel panicked when the coins they have fall and they are afraid if the price goes down so they decide to sell it quickly. They should be more patient and continue to observe market developments and analyze the possibilities that will occur in the future. |

I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Both are equally profitable, but you could say trading is more profitable and has a greater risk of course. once, I think it's the worst experience I've ever experienced because when I was a beginner and just joined the crypto program a few months and that experience happened to me. for me first is to hold a coin then there is an increase then it becomes an advantage for me and when that happens I feel happy because the price of my coin went up but not a few days later there was a decline and began to panic in me and I was determined if there was an increase then I will sell everything because it went down very long and there was an increase not how much I sold all, but in the next few weeks there will be a 10x increase, the feeling of sadness and regret is what I experienced.
