8201  Other / Meta / Re: Is the Merit System Generating Enough Merits? on: February 26, 2018, 03:01:46 PM
I think we need to give some time to Merit system, only one month passed. If theymos will see that there aren't enough sMerits generated, he just will add more Merit sources.
I think there is another issue that we have. Just visit Bitcoin Discussion, Altcoin Discussion, Bounties, Politics & Society or another spammy board, open several profiles of Full Members and above and you will find that mostly of them haven't sent any of their sMerit so far. It means that there are still so many users who still aren't aware about Merit system and just holding their sMerit without knowing about it.
8202  Other / Meta / Re: Why is it the "Show general statistics for this member" is not working? on: February 26, 2018, 01:09:27 PM
User stats was disabled by theymos after DDOS attacks few months ago:
I might've figured it out. A bunch of things are currently disabled; I'll work on safely enabling them in the coming days.
But it's not clear when it will be enabled again, maybe never.
8203  Other / Meta / Re: why i do not have merit? on: February 26, 2018, 12:10:10 AM
Well, you answered your own question - your English is bad and this is why you aren't getting Merit points from other users. But you always can post on your local board and earn merits there. I see that Turkish board are active enough, so if you don't know English well, it's not a problem. But I also see that you been tagged by DannyHamilton because you was begging for merits. I suppose that it will be more difficult to earn Merit while you have red trust on your profile, no matter that you will make good posts.
8204  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how do i get MERITS in Bitcointalk forum? on: February 24, 2018, 11:37:45 PM
Make 100 accounts Grin
I hope it's sarcasm... Anyway, making 100 new accounts can't help in this case because Newbie accounts have 0 sMerit. But if you have higher ranked account and you are sending Merit to your alts, it would be Merit abuse and you may get negative trust rating from DT members for doing that.
8205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin Forks? on: February 24, 2018, 11:27:30 PM
I don't like these forks. I can't say that all of them are scams, because I don't know much about mostly of these forks and there is lack of information about it. I only claimed my free BCH so far and benefited from it decently. Maybe I will claim BTG also later. About other forks, I don't think it's worth hassle to claim coins which are worth only few dollars.
I think it improve BTC better!!
How you can improve BTC by creating new altcoin?
8206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: February 24, 2018, 11:17:30 PM
Barcelona will be looking to stay ahead of the pack by the seven points they already have against Girona today.
I will expect they will want to show their supporters at Camp Nou that they are the champions this season and will be using Messi and Suarez to their full extent to solidify that goal they will be going guns a blazing this match. Wink
Barca played impressive tonight, despite that they conceded early goal after miscommunication between ter Stegen and Umtiti. First hattrick by Suarez this season, 2 great goals by Messi and amazing goal by Coutinho.
Alba got 6th yellow card, he will miss game against Las Palmas, but he will be able to play against Atletico. Suarez was also trying to get 6th card on last minutes, but referee decided to not show it, it was fun moment Cheesy
8207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins games online on: February 24, 2018, 06:44:13 PM
I used to play some Bitcoin paying games on my phone few years ago. I remember playing Bitcoin Alliens game, Wheel of Coins and fee others. Yeah, I got some btc from them, mostly were paying instantly to Xapo wallet, so I didn't had to reach huge treshold to get paid. I'm not sure that now any of these games are still paying. It was monetized by Google Adsense, but games which are paying money which they got from Ad revenue to users, faucets are against their rules.
Nowadays I'm still using Bitcoin and Altcoin faucets. But now earnings from faucets are tiny, because faucet owners not getting big revenue from ads and because Bitcoin price increased. When few years ago it was possible to get 1000 satoshi hourly, now you will get only 10-20 satoshi. Without big number of referrals it's not possible to get decent earnings.

Just follow rules of bitcointalk if you don't want to be banned. Usually, mostly users are getting bans for copy-paste
8209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: February 23, 2018, 11:56:01 PM
My predictions for Europa league, team which will advance bolded
Lazio (ITA) v  Dynamo Kyiv (UKR)
 Leipzig (GER) v  Zenit (RUS)
Atlético (ESP) v  Lokomotiv Moskva (RUS)
CSKA Moskva (RUS) v  Lyon (FRA)
 Marseille (FRA) v  Athletic (ESP)
Sporting CP (POR) v  Plzeň (CZE)
 Dortmund (GER) v  Salzburg (AUT)
 Milan (ITA) v  Arsenal (ENG)
I think that Milan and Arsenal teams are a bit overrated in this tournament, but in this pair I see Arsenal as a favorites, their squad is better. Arsenal must win Europa league if they want to play in UCL next season.
It will be also interesting to watch Marseille vs Athletic for me and maybe CSKA vs Lyon.

Ac Milan vs Arsenal is a balanced match, but for me AC Milan is slightly favored because it is in great shape and because Arsenal will be without Lacazette (injured) and Aubameyang (can not play in the Europa League having played in Champion's League with B. Dortmund).
Oh, I completely forgot that Aubameyang can't play for Arsenal in Europa league this season. But still, I think that Arsenalwill go further. If Arsenal will win Europa league, maybe Wenger will get lifetine contract  Huh
8210  Other / Meta / Re: Original account hacked - help restore on: February 23, 2018, 11:46:42 PM
Give then advice. This data will be enough, provided that I do not have access to the btc wallet?
Yeah, you provided enough information. Signed message from Bitcoin addresd are prefered, but if you don't have, ETH signed message should be fine.
8211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 Winter Olympics on: February 23, 2018, 11:27:22 PM
The German hockey team dropped the bomb today. I had the absolute pleasure of watching the game and I have to say it was a lot of fun. I think OAR are the winner-to-be come Sunday. Nevertheless it will be another cool match to watch  Grin
Yeah, it was pleasure to watch how Germany played against Canada. But in 3rd period they were really tired and Canada was very close to equalize score.  Yeah, OAR will win probably, I hardly can see Germany making another sensation.
3rd place game between Canada and Czech Republic should be interesting, I can't predict which team have better chances to win. But honestly, I would prefer to watch classic rivalry between Canada and Russia in final :/

If you already sent this signed message from your ETH address to Cyrus by following this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0 , now you need patience, it can took few weeks or even months to recover your account. Admins getting lot of requests to recover accounts each day, so it's not fast process.
8216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: February 22, 2018, 11:31:22 PM
Damn Arsenal really lost this game  Grin Grin
Of course, it was hard for Ostersunds to pass the 0:3 but still, good game for them!
Bad game for Arsenal.
Well, Arsenal didn't played with main squad, but still, it's amazing that they were loosing against such tiny club at home. And just one fact - Ostersunds club was found in 1996, when Wenger started to manage Arsenal Cheesy.
Borussia played bad against Atalanta, but today tay managed to score away goal and reach next round.
Despite that Napoli won against Red Bull 2:0, it's not enough and they are eliminated. Now they will need to focus on winning Scudetto.
8217  Other / Meta / Re: Should merit system be kept? on: February 22, 2018, 09:03:30 PM
I'm just quoting what theymos already said:
If the merit system completely fails and I can't think of anything else to replace it, then my next step will probably be to completely remove all ways for forum users to make money from posting (eg. removing signatures entirely).
I'm not sure why all these spammers are against Merit system :/

8219  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is a Mining Farm? on: February 21, 2018, 11:41:52 PM
If you really want to buy or build mining farm, it requires big investment and solid knowledge. But you can try to build your own mining rig, it's not that difficult, but still, you need to have enough spare money to buy GPU's and other stuff. You can find plenty of step by step guides how to build ETH mining rig, just enter these key words on Google search.
As far as purchasing your own mining farm (and avoiding a lot of the work, do you mean?), you can always research 'cloud mining contracts.'

Cheers!
Be careful with cloud mining. 99% of these cloud mining websites are just ponzi schemes which aren't mining anything. And it's only matter of time when such website will turn into scam and run away with investors money.
And legit cloud mining companies aren't very profitable and ROI that you will get is minimal. It's more beneficial to buy some coins and trade it or just HODL it in long term if you don't want any risks.
8220  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Errors of beginners in the bounty on: February 21, 2018, 11:24:03 PM
It's hard to understand your text. It's mixed with broken English and Russian words. I know, you tried to be helpful, but if you can't write in English fluently, you should stay on your local board and improve your English skills to post on main boards of Bitcointalk.
And another little advice - when you are making long text, always divide it into paragraphs, it will be much easier to read your article Wink
