With or without blockchain, I think paying users for their data is possible. The questions would be efficiency and effectivity. Facebook and other giants company who 'stole' user data can actually make a database and feature to pay users and then integrate it with fiat withdrawal systems. In its simplest sense, Facebook or any other company only needs a database to track how much payment for each users and a payment providers / banks connections where user can 'exchange' points or digital money to real fiat money. As simple as that.

Contohnya sebagai berikut: -----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- My account <account> has been hacked/lost. Please reset the email to <email>. The current date is <date>. -----BEGIN SIGNATURE----- <insert address here> <insert signature here> -----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Here is the unedited post where I posted that address: ...

I hate them. I think it shows that an exchange lacks transparency because they hide some orders, which can be interpreted as market manipulation. I think they should show all orders on the market, thus every traders can use that information to decide when and how they enter or exit the market.
I've been using some exchanges with hidden order like this and I can say for sure that they're not really good. Sometimes market price is better than what I've thought, which makes an opportunity to gain more profits slipped from me.

Unfortunately scammers or scams are not moderated. The workaround for this is the trust feature, which serve as a precaution for users who want to do business deals with them. At least you've already told people here so that people can be more cautious next time.
I've tagged the account.

I use Bitmax regularly (because my tokens is only tradable here) and they have problems many times, such as suspicious login activity issues which happens to many users. Not really surprising things like this happened, I thought they've already solved it but it seems some users are still affected. Yes but i missed the opportunity to make my money x12
Does that constitute enough reason to call an exchange a scam exchange? Binance also 'made' thousand of people fails to participate in the launchpad. But for sure, they have problems which needed to be solved immediately.

I trade with crypto currencies. I have a small experience in it. The amount of profit i get is very less but yes it depends on the amount of investment i make. I have seen my friends trade with fiats at currency market. The amount of profit they receive is more than i do. The main thing is, the investment they make is lesser than i make.
Kindly share your experience?
What I get from reading your post is that your friend might be doing margin trading or something like Binary Option, which is more riskier than your usual buy low sell high trading. I don't think that's a good 'trading' activity for newbies tbh. And btw both of your way is 'correct', making profits from crypto trading sometimes can give you insane results (looks at BTT, LTO, etc where they can give you more than x5 return in weeks). I've stopped doing trading and right now focused on long-term investment, that's better for me because I don't have the time to go to the market and pick coins and follow news 24/7. As for you, it's better to keep making profits even though it's small, don't envy your friend especially if he has more capital than you.

There are several options. If you have some spare time then signature campaign is one of the best way to earn some Bitcoin. Basically you help promote a services on your signature space and in return they'll pay you with some BTC, so kinda like a marketing job. If you don't have time to do that, then I can suggest you buy a small amount weekly/monthly. For example, $10 weekly. If you continue doing this for about a year, you can get at least more than $400 worth of Bitcoin per year. If you still can't do that, then start your own services and accept payment with Bitcoin.
Some users might also suggest you to join bounty campaign but believe me they're not really a good choice because the payment is not really guaranteed. You can end up gaining nothing from bounty campaign.

I've met a different modus operandi. The scammer(s) use more than 1 account to scam you. 1st account will act like a staff from an exchange while the other account will act as either a person in need or a staff from some projects. Basically they tried to 'help' you if you have problems withdrawing or depositing your tokens into an exchange. So if you post something like 'Hey I've deposited my XXX tokens hours ago but there is no confirmation yet'. The exchange staff will contact you requesting to send some tokens to some address which will be verified by the project account.
I think their modus operandi is growing at this moment, maybe they create a dedicated exchange group (a fake one of course) to lure people to tell their problem (and posting fake feedbacks) so people can fall for their scams.

Just FYI, on some countries that doesn't have official Ledger reseller you should be very careful and make sure your Ledger is not pre-set up'ed. Even though you buy a Ledger Nano or other devices but it has been used before, then it's the same as giving away your money.
I bought one myself from unofficial reseller and after that I've reset it twice, verify the authenticity and upgrade the latest firmware. It's very risky but I don't have other options at that time. Not a recommended way to get your hardware wallet.

Now I'd really like to know if all these came out because Bittrex did some due diligence or because the public discovered all these things? I mean, if Bittrex did research well earlier, they would never have made this announcement first right?
It comes after public do their own due diligence. The story is interesting tbh, it seems like RAID about their partnership or public were misinformed, and then message comes out publicly that RAID is having fake partnership. After that the partnership section on their website were removed completely and then Bittrex cancel their IEO. Looks pretty bad for Bittrex, they don't prepare their IEO very carefully and it's embarrassing because public can do a better DD than them.

I use a portfolio linked to the Internet. But I have never been in danger. I became thinking about dealing with conservative cold.
Just because bad things don't happens to you (yet), doesn't mean it's a good practice. I also believe online or web based wallet is riskier than offline/software based wallet, but it's difficult to encourage users to use a more secure, or at least realise the danger and how they should mitigate the risk before they lost their money. Most people learned the hard way, not sure why.

HadePay apps in Google Play Store has only been downloaded for around +1k times. Looks like this payment processor is still new, or not really a major player in the payment industry. Nevertheless, more adoption news I suppose?

Stable coins is not used for investing. Most of the time it is used for the following purpose (adding more point):
- To mitigate risk from volatile assets without complex scenario. In other words, you can save profits without liquidating your assets to fiat. - Use for payment, because it's stable merchants can avoid risk (lower risk than accepting Bitcoin for example) - Investment in ICO. Team can accept stable coin and avoid volatility risk if the token sale goes for months. For example, if they accept ETH (worth $100 at the start of token sale but then decreased to $10) they only get a small amount of money, but this can be avoided if they accept stable coins like USDT. - Avoid fiat/regulatory requirements to purchase crypto. Using stable coins can give you instant access to almost any crypto market without doing any KYC. Though it also depends on what exchange that you use.

Just tried it, looks nice and it seems the explorer also support native SegWit. By the way, I already choose English as the language interface but when I tried to look for transaction details, the time still shows Slovak(?) language. I think it's also nice to add the option to select what fiat currency to show the equivalent of Bitcoin that the address hold. It would be nice to also select at what date the conversion is. I mean, instead of showing the value of Bitcoin today, user should be able to look at the value when the Bitcoin enter or exit the address at certain date. This is a nice thing for me which I find lacking in block explorer that I usually use.

I'm not a fan of bluetooth hardware wallet but at least they're as extreme as biochip wallet, which is extremely dangerous imo. Though this is not entirely new as Ledger also released some bluetooth hardware wallet a while back. Nice competition, hopefully it will push more good products to enter the market.

One question i believe is bitcoin or bitcoin cash and i choose bitcoin right? Then afterwards it ask legacy or segwit. Im close to 100 percent i used segwit last time. But is there a way to make sure i set it up with segwit? What if i press segwit but it was actually legacy? Then it wont show any btc? I want to make sure this is the exact order its done and questions asked because i havent used it in a while.
Yes, you choose Bitcoin. If you select the 'wrong' type you can simply add a new address in Ledger Live. If you've never set up a SegWit address before, when you click SegWit Ledger will create a new one for you. You won't lose any BTC in this process, so don't worry too much. Just FYI, as others mentioned, using Ledger Live is more recommended. I used Ledger Chrome app weeks ago because Ledger Live stuck and it still works, however there might be potential bug that can make you lose your Bitcoin. So even if it still works, choose Ledger Live or connect your Ledger to Electrum.
