Please contact the one and only attorney on file for Mr. Garza and his business entities, Brian Klein (below), explain your situation and the loss you have incurred to date with no expressed or implied resolution from those acting as Mr. Garza’s “support team”. If you wish, you can also demand a response to the communication within a certain period of time ranging from 3-5 business days before considering your next legal option to seek relief from the damage(s) you have incurred.
What is this? Is today something like a national bad advice day or something? In no circumstance should anybody just call your opponents lawyer even if the advice is given in a bullshit legalese shape in order to make it sound like it has some merit. If you want to start any action in legal front you first hire a lawyer of your own and then let YOUR OWN lawyer decide what to do and how. Anybody who without legal assistance calls the opponents lawyer to make some demands or anything is so underdog it is not even funny and taken for a ride for sure unless you happen to screw yourself first in the process. The first advice YOUR OWN layer is going to give to you is to totally stop talking to anybody about the situation and let him handle everything so you cannot screw something without understanding how you are going to screw yourself like giving ammunition to the oppisition. I know there is no shortage for bad advice available in this paybase/paycoin farce so one more fits in like a glove. I have to agree. IANAL, but I am the son of one. Attorney's in the USA do not talk with random whiny people who lost money due to their client(s) actions or whatnot - Absolutely, get your own lawyer first, then go from there, and hope you have a lot of $ to lose/spend on recouping your loss if it's even possible. another gamble imo... |

I know forums are not always the best place for info but I know a lot of you have more knowledge in this area. Where do you go to file a complaint against Paybase holding your funds? In my limited area of knowledge with this kind of thing since Paybase has filled for a MSB license (I think MSB is right acronym) they fall under the same rules as banks and I know they fall under the CFTC. Some have told me they are not able to hold your coins without a court order. (Not sure if true) So I am considering filing a complaint with the CFTC. I am not sure if the best place or if I should file with other agencies. Currently they are holding my BTC and XPY in Paybase. Normally I do not keep anything there. But I moved BTC to buy XPY cheap and then bam they shut the site down and locked my account.

Can someone help me out on this?
I keep seeing HT Gawites refer to Paybase having FinCEN/MSB approval to operate in 50 states... it this true?
I thought i read somewhere that they APPLIED for it, but applying for it does not mean you have it.
I just can't believe that they were audited checked etc etc and were given the pass for license.
Can somebody clear this up?
If they do not actually have MSB license then that is a massive delusion most GAWites have....
They have applied for an MSB registration number with FinCEN (a federal agency). My understanding is that becoming an MSB is a fairly serious process in each state, but hopefully someone else can explain how it actually works. the card is supposed to appear as a usb device on 2581:2b7c on your system (using windows control panel / lsusb on Linux)
if it doesn't, check that you folded it properly
if it still doesn't work, contact support to get another one sent
ok, thanks. i guess mine must be dead - I accidentally broke it off on the "clip" before reading the full instructions, but it's stuck back on there just fine so i'm not sure if that is the issue, i wouldn't think so, it fits fairly snug etc. i'll have a super-geek i work with give a try tomorrow before contacting support, maybe i'm missing something simple. no, it's unfortunately not possible. The U2F implementation is done on a different firmware version requiring attestation keys that are installed at factory personalization time Seems like a good project, keep it up and I hope these smart cards can get made!  well the cards are made and actually quite popular at TNABC I got one yesterday in the mail. can't get any computer to even recognize it. how do i tell if it's dead or something? spent like 2 hours with it, waste of time so far...  Edit - two windows 7 64-bit - even tried old drivers etc. nothing seems to work ... Windows device manager sees nothing at all, no matter what usb port i try. 1 Dell laptop and 1 ASUS home built desktop. ps i tried on linux mint as well, but i didn't get very far at all before giving up there too. (Older laptop). thanks for any help. |

I find it rather odd that there are no other sponsors up in lights.
I find any Paybase advertising odd. What is there to advertise? Gutted exchange? I guess it allows GAW to dump the premine quietly now off-chain, that's the only thing I can think of that could make it worth advertising. All the other Paybase ads don't make any sense at all. What lifestyle? Where's Walmart?  seriously? this is clearly scammery. how can anyone get away with this bs?! |
