Without Google search.. I don't hardly know nuttin.
Amateurs Cheesy
The source is literally stated under the questions Tongue I'm more worried about theymos' interpretation: it's probably a complex function that takes into account all kinds of seemingly unrelated data. And I'm pretty sure using smileys lowers your IQ

I'm just posting to test my IQ. Then again, I've been called human before on days like this, so I'll take the result with a grain of salt.

everyone with an IQ below 120 will be banned.

"LoyceV" - Can you create another dictionary from this list? https://weakpass.com/wordlist
Which one? Give me the Torrent links you want, there are far too many files there for me to check all of them.

Code:
:~$ crunch 6 6 ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ0123456789abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz -t Ca@@@@
Nice one! I made them in different lengths:
http://le6-1-93ghostman.pulsedmedia.com/public-loyceclu/5.txt
http://le6-1-93ghostman.pulsedmedia.com/public-loyceclu/6.txt
http://le6-1-93ghostman.pulsedmedia.com/public-loyceclu/7.txt (still uploading, I can't install crunch on this server)
http://le6-1-93ghostman.pulsedmedia.com/public-loyceclu/8.txt (476 GB, I'm creating the file on one server and saving it to this location. At the rate it's going it'll take at least half a day to complete. Chances are something will break before it's done) Update: After 235 GB, it exceeded it's disk quota. This server will be wiped in 5 days.

As far as I know, most of the winners have already received their prizes, and if not, this issue will be resolved as soon as possible.
I confirm I've received the prize from ChipMixer 4 days ago Smiley

Update: I've received the prize from Best Change 1 minute ago Smiley

Update: I've received the prize from Sportsbet too Smiley

I am only seeing  one merit source out of the 111 mentioned. What happened to the rest merit sources?
You don't need to see Merit sources, most users (shitposters excepted) can send Merit. You too can Merit good posts, and judging by the 3 sMerit you sent to this post, you can definitely improve on that.
8286  Economy / Services / Re: Receiving SMS on existing phone number on: March 31, 2022, 08:51:42 AM
I am looking to service where I can add my phone number and receive SMS messages on it
For this to be possible, your phone service provider has to forward the SMS you receive to a third party. This shouldn't happen for security and privacy sake.
I have SIM in physical possession, but somehow I can't reactivate it. I need to receive codes to login on accounts.
The point of 2FA is that nobody can access it without having the right device. You'll need to find other ways to change access codes.
8287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to create bitcoin wallet address using java and track the payment ? on: March 31, 2022, 08:03:23 AM
1]  I want to create bitcoin wallet addresses and store its key in database using java . But I don't find any solution on how to create on bitcoin blockchain .
As much as I appreciate your enthusiasm, you may want to take a step back. Are you sure you want to create your own system, and if so, are you sure you can keep it safe? Especially when you talk about "creating an address on the blockchain", it might not be the best idea.
8288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Claiming bitcoin cash and eCash from old btc wallet on: March 30, 2022, 08:53:17 PM
You should probably move (lower-left) this topic to an altcoin board.

My guess: you're mixing up chains. Can you share the address you started with? That should make it possible to find what happened exactly on Blockchair.com or another block explorer.
8289  Economy / Services / Re: Bounty 10000$ Who can help me recall password! on: March 30, 2022, 07:51:41 PM
Doesn't "Google drive" provide space for free?
I think it's 15 GB, that's no use Tongue

I've decided to reward you with 50 BitcoinHD (BHD) just for helping me, tell me your wallet address.
I have no idea what that is, and I don't have any use for it. I also don't install unknown software. If you can convert it to a low fee common altcoin or BTC-LN I'll accept it.

If successful our password story, I will transfer you additionally $10,000 (USDT TRC-20)

I've updated my previous post (sorting the data took long). See allinone.txt, that has all data.

create a list of all the .torrent files you want me to download.
8290  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] [banned mixer] Premium Review and Suggestion Campaign - 25 available spots on: March 30, 2022, 07:17:43 PM
Premium review and suggestion spreadsheet#13

When possible, I choose a .onion instead of clearnet. It turns out [banned mixer] has a ]Tor mirror, but it's not mentioned in the ANN.

User Interface
The first thing I noticed was excessive animations, which I strongly dislike (and UniJoin seems to love them). It reminds me of thousands of ICO websites that use heavy animations to impress users before running off with their money.
I prefer a website on which I scroll down and see the content instantly, instead of a website where everything slides into place every time I click PgDn. Waiting for the animations to finish is time lost that I can't use reading the content.

Start Mixing
Instead of reading anything, I instantly clicked Start Mixing.

At 1. Operating Details, after Transfer Delay, there's a "?". I expected a popup or clickable info, but there's nothing. The slider works and it's quite obvious what it does. I'd say remove the "?".
After I clicked Continue, I got a Captcha. That was unexpected and a weird place.

At 2. I noticed this:
Image loading...
I assume this should be "after" > "before".

Quote from: the Terms
I confirm that the address generated in the next step is valid for 24 hours only. Cryptocurrency funds sent to this address after 24 hours will not be accepted.
What happens if fees rise and the transaction takes 4 days to confirm? That's currently not very likely, but it has happened many times in the past.

Quote from: the Terms
I confirm that I need to download the letter of guarantee after transferring coins to the generated address of Unijoin.
There it is again: what's the point of a letter of guarantee after depositing, if I don't get it before sending funds?

Quote from: the Terms
I confirm that I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
That's 9 pages of "legal language"! It's not very customer friendly to demand users to read 9 pages before continuing.

From /en/terms-and-conditions]Terms and Conditions:
Quote
The service is provided on a non-custodial basis.
~
trustless CoinJoin
I'll get back to this later.

I'd say 1.3 is unnecessary and a waste of time to read:
Quote
It is Your responsibility to keep your wallet backups, your wallet files, and your passwords secure.
I mean: it's obvious that's how Bitcoin works.

I strongly dislike point 5:
Quote
Any feedback (or similar content/document, feature suggestion) you submit is non-confidential and will become the sole property of the Service Provider. We will be entitled to the unrestricted use and dissemination of such feedback for any purpose, commercial or otherwise, without acknowledgment or compensation to You.
If I send a comment to any service, I don't expect nor appreciate it if they decide to use my email for advertising. This makes contacting the service a liability.

I'm no lawyer, but the way I read points 6 and 8 is that if UniJoin messes up and I lose my funds because of them, it's my risk and they're not liable. If that interpretation is correct, then obviously I don't like it.

About the II. Privacy Policy: I didn't find the one thing I wanted to know: how long do you store information on my transactions, particularly linking my deposit and withdrawal addresses?

I've reached 3. Send Coins:
Quote
Transfer between 0.001BTC and 250.000 BTC to the following address:
And this is where my main problem arises: UniJoin is asking to deposit anything between $50 and $12,000,000, but doesn't give me anything I can use to prove the deposit address even belongs to them! Earlier, in the Terms, I was promised a "non-custodial" and "trustless" transaction, but I don't even get a Letter of Guarantee. That means I have to trust UniJoin with anything from $50 to $12,000,000 and that doesn't make me feel very comfortable.

While we're on the subject of $12 million (and I'll remind you that I've never used CoinJoin before so I could be wrong): how are you going to CoinJoin such an amount, if there aren't several other users who deposit a similar amount around the same time?

Tor settings used for testing
Security Level: Standard. I haven't tried Safer or Safest, which often breaks websites because it disables scripts.

To be continued, but not before my main concern (in red) is clarified.

"LoyceV" - Can you create another dictionary from this list? https://weakpass.com/wordlist
Which one? How about you create a list of all the .torrent files you want me to download. My Seedbox expires in a few days, so don't wait too long as I don't want to download those huge files elsewhere.
Update: I'm currently extracting the 153 GB I've downloaded already. I'm (ab)using all CPU cores, but the Seedbox is still quite empty so I hope they won't kick me off. I'll post the links when done.

Currently extracting:
Code:
cyclone.hashesorg.hashkiller.combined.txt.7z
dicassassin.7z
dictionary_private.dic.7z
hashesorg2019.gz
Hashes.org.7z
HashesOrg.gz
hashkiller-dict.txt.7z
rockyou2021.7z
weakpass_1.gz
weakpass_2a.gz
weakpass_2.gz
weakpass_3.7z
weakpass_3p.7z
xsukax-Wordlist-All.7z

Update
See: http://le6-1-93ghostman.pulsedmedia.com/public-loyceclu/ for the files.

There's a total of 99,601,845 passwords in there. I've added allinone.txt: it doesn't include duplicates and is reduced to 41,399,595 passwords.
8294  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 Review Campaign 🔥 on: March 30, 2022, 03:16:43 PM
Some users have not complied with all requirements including deposit and or withdrawal.
This seems like a waste of time. After I wrote I can't Sign up because Tor browser tells me wrong jurisdiction from any location, OP asked me for my username.
If you're not reading reviews, there's really no point in making them.
8295  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: March 30, 2022, 01:31:42 PM
theymos can not force people to be a merit source.
Actually: he can Cheesy
8296  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: March 30, 2022, 11:32:23 AM
Accordingly, they encourage only those posts that correspond only to their ideas (will someone like a post that goes against his views? I doubt it).
You're wrong here: Merit doesn't mean "I like this", nor does it mean "I agree with this". It means the Merit source thinks a post is worth reading. See:
I encourage people to give merit to posts that are objectively high-quality, not just posts that you agree with.
But since being a Merit source is a volunteer "job", and actually takes quite a lot of time, I don't want to read posts I'm not interested in.

if there are more merit-sources, then there will be a wider variety of views among these people and they will encourage more diverse points of view
The idea is that Merit trickles down: users who receive Merit can send sMerit to other users again.
You're of course free to apply for a Merit source position. I don't think the number of sources will double without 100+ applications.

Quote
you can see that they throw off merit-packs
Theymos said you should complain to him:
If they complain about amounts, tell them to complain to me. It's best if sources try to exhaust their source allocations, even if it means giving posts higher amounts than is typical. If you have 150 source merit and you only see 3 merit-worthy posts in a month, then I'd rather you over-give each of them 50 merit than let the merit expire. That way there are more people capable of sending merit, and the "merit economy" is less top-down.

Is it technically possible to implement this easily and quickly without creating unnecessary headaches for the administration?
I assume theymos keeps tabs on the Merit sources, to see if they're not completely out of line. That would mean more work for Admins, but I'm just guessing here.

Quote
Let us know if my proposal is worth considering.
I think it's the first time I see someone ask for less sMerit for Merit sources. But it happened before: at some point active sources got an increase, and inactive sources a reduction (up to removal).

To start getting more sources, you should consider this:
If you want to be a merit source:

 1. Be a somewhat established member.
 2. Collect TEN posts written in the last couple of months by other people that have not received nearly enough merit for how good they are, and post quotes for them all in a new Meta thread. The point of this is to demonstrate your ability to give out merit usefully.
 3. We will take a look at your history and maybe make you a source.

I am especially eager to have merit sources in sub-communities such as the local sections.
8297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Why all this hype with Hardware Wallets when Bitcoin Core is all you need? on: March 30, 2022, 11:11:33 AM
Would you say the average person's phone or laptop is safe enough for a Software wallet, even protected by password?
Probably not. And yet, they use it for banking all the time.
I still think unrooted phones are more secure than Windows computers. I trust my Android more than I'd trust Windows (which I don't use anyway), and I would never use any Windows computer to even check my email.
8298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Why all this hype with Hardware Wallets when Bitcoin Core is all you need? on: March 30, 2022, 10:29:09 AM
Using a Hardware Wallet is more convenient.  And since almost everyone is a lazy butt choosing convenience over utility, there we go.
I find using a hardware wallet much more work than using a software wallet.

My order of convenience (from easiest to most work):
-software wallet without password (for very small amounts, like a few wallets with a few dollars each)
-software wallet with password (the most common option I guess)
-hardware wallet (getting it, connecting the cable and typing numbers on small buttons make it inconvenient)
-cold storage setup (a proper setup including figuring out which wallet versions to use takes me a long time)

I literally use all four of those:
I use different wallets for different purposes. I know the shortcomings (and I'm aware I might not even know everything), but it's enough to reduce the risk to an acceptable level without being inconvenient.

Seriously now.  I can not imagine myself carrying an old airgapped computer with me on a trip.  I can not imagine myself doing the signing and all of that using two separate computers in a hotel.  I would rather carry around a Hardware Wallet instead and use that one safely.  This is why I think they are worth the cost.
I can't imagine traveling with a hardware wallet. I'd very much prefer to use a software wallet, funded with just enough for the trip.

Quote
I could pop up Electrum on a Tails and sign a single transaction without the server knowing all the UTXO's I own.
If you bring Tails, you don't need 2 separate computers. Just your normal laptop, reboot, and sign the transaction offline.

Quote
But if you are in a huge hurry to move your coins, you better not have your funds on an old offline computer as you may end up throwing all of that through the window.  Been in a hurry before with an old airgapped computer and it was pure hell.
It prevents panic selling Wink

Tor isn't that slow. I use Tor, but most thread fully loaded in less than 15 seconds.
Any chance OP lives in a country that tries to block websites and censor the internet? I've just tested the 10th anniversary art contest, and it downloads 10 Mbit/s through Tor.
