8301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs altcoins? on: April 29, 2018, 09:48:05 AM
Hi guys , what do you most prefer , holding bitcoins or buying altcoins which is have a good technology and for long term investment ?. I'm a little bit doubtful  where should i stand on . I'm not rich enough to buy and hold this coins at the same time. However I'm trying to figure out which of the  two much better . bitcoins have a old technology in blockhain compare to altcoins now which is they are more advanced but the prices  varies so  what your insight about this ?

Here is the fact that must investors don't know. When you own bitcoin you only make profits on bitcoin value. If you own 1 BItcoin for 5years you will still have 1 bitcoin but with altcoins you make profits on bitcoin and it's value. For example let's say 20 Ethereum gives you 1 BItcoin then you hold your 20ETH for  1-3years now 1 BItcoin = 5 ETH that's means you now own 4bitcoin. So definitely altcoins are better although you need to diversify your investment I say  70% on altcoins 30% on bitcoin.
8302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than gold on: April 29, 2018, 09:37:59 AM
Gold is like land-line or let's say post letters while BItcoin is like smart phones or emails. You get the difference? Gold is old school and so yesterday BItcoin is the future and that the rocket I wanna be in.  The decentralized functions of BItcoin and its unique features as an asset and currency it's what's gonna make BItcoin the king over gold and don't forget it is digitized

The quote above is true,  remember not all have access to various information must of this bloggers and youtubers have I mean the legitimate ones not the predictors. I also have a quote "Take advice form mentors not advisers ] advicer usually don't have experience but mentors do.  Like the BItcoincash and bitcoingold case, it was advice I thought from my mentors that gave me my success so the whole issue rest on information. When you're informed you can't be deformed. As a newbie you can rely on them while you develop yourself.
8304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you involved in Cryptocurrency on: April 29, 2018, 09:17:31 AM
Saw an article once that those who heard about internet in the late 90's and refused to invest in it are now regretting. Guess what I don't want to be among the Blockchain regreters. I believe the Blockchain is gonna disrupt this world economy  and definitely Cryptocurrency is gonna be the major beneficiaries for down so I got involved in Cryptocurrency to be among those who can do what others can't in future because i did what others won't right now and that's investing in Cryptocurrency.
8305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: future of Bitcoin In this world? on: April 29, 2018, 08:47:15 AM
I believe in BItcoin because the world is getting decentralized. The government refused to accept it because 1, they're afraid of it.  2, it's too volatile at this early stage and can easily be manipulated. E.g the China, social media ban news that reduced the price to nearly $3000- . This is also why I'm investing in it. High risk gives high reward only when you have the three E 's of investing (Education, Experience and Excess cash)  but in Cryptocurrency I will say "spare money."
8306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hacker demands Bitcoin ransom on hacked website on: April 29, 2018, 08:41:51 AM
Wow that hacker is a determined one,  maybe he knows with other altcoins he can be trace especially the ICO via KYC.  This also maybe my day.

I have a question, what does situations like this do to BItcoin price?  Does this increase the price or decrease the price  Can this be stopped?
8307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you hear about Bitcoin (From Ponzi to Cryptocurrency) on: April 29, 2018, 08:30:01 AM
I heard it too many times on social media like Facebook.

Yeah and mostly was for the promotion of Ponzi or matrix scheme. I bet yeah most people heard about Cryptocurrency (BItcoin)  just as I did (ponzi). The problems now is how do we reduced this?   I know we can't terminate it, so what is the Crypto-cummunity doing towards creating awareness. Hopping to get a reply because this is a very serious issues
8308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you sell your Bitcoin at $100,000 or what? on: April 28, 2018, 05:00:21 PM
Definitely I will take out some gains. The straggy if you're not a HODLER is to sell when it hits a particular milestones and Rebuy when it drops. That's what I do.  So if bitcoin hits $100000 I'm selling then wait for the correction and come into the market with 70% of the profit
8309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [AUTOMATED BOUNTY][ICO] LibertyLance: 🔥Decentralized Gig Based Marketplace🔥 on: April 27, 2018, 10:41:17 PM
This project LibertyLance (Decentralized Gig Based Marketplace) is a great project with hard working developers. I strongly believe in the project. Also admin I'm confused for the signature campaign, my question goes like this, if I participate in it and poster 1000time I will get 500stakes right? So now is the stake equivalent to coins or what?
8310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How did you hear about Bitcoin (From Ponzi to Cryptocurrency) on: April 26, 2018, 06:08:51 AM
How I heard about bitcoin started early 2015 when I was searching for means in which I will use to earn some money to help support my schooling because I'm an undergraduate. So I was introdue into an online business by a friend called MMM (As of then I never knew it was ponzi) the way it was presented (mouth watery bonuses) made me to engage in it fully and started marketing it. I became successful at it made some cool cash too.

When it became famous in my country I decided to explore all its benefits then I saw an advert of BItcoin I picked interest because it was offering 50% ROI monthly while my local currency was 30%ROI. So then my journey began in the Cryptocurrency world.  I became fully a Cryptopreneur January 2016 after my wanna be cryptocoin called TBC (thebillioncoin) failed me. I have made some few mistakes afterwards but I can proudly say, me picking interest in Bitcoin (cryptocurrency) from a Ponzi biz,  is one of the most smartest move I have ever made in my life.

How did you hear about bitcoin?
8311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Really End World Poverty? on: April 25, 2018, 09:32:35 PM
Just like every other thing on earth, poverty is a feature that can't be eradicated. Planning to end poverty is like planning to end the world. Poverty is needed for motivation. Bitcoin can only reduced it by enriching the early adopters but get this most early adopters are those that have some spare money to invest so let's say 70% of then were rich. So now what did BItcoin do?  Just like the first bitcoin billionaires Winklevoss twins BItcoin enrich them the more.

So it's a BIG no for me when it comes to ending poverty with bitcoin
8312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be altcoins with more value than bitcoin? on: April 25, 2018, 09:18:13 PM
Yes definitely with time altcoins like ETH and Dash has the potential to overthrow BTC.  Dash has to do with privacy and that's everybody concern. ETH is also a potential coin that can overthrow BTC. Just imagine any of those mentioned above having the market cap of BItcoin that's gonna be huge gain and that will draw in the media attention and to the 🌙 they will go.
8313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any coin like bitcoin? on: April 25, 2018, 09:10:58 PM
Please house, I will like to know whether out of the existing altcoins anyone of them has potential to be like bitcoin in the nearest future. I will appreciate if i can know the reason why because this will greatly assis me in planning my investment strategy. Thanks.

I don't think that there is a coin that could surpass bitcoin. All I could think of is the possibility is quite low if we say that a certain coin could perform like what BTC shows to us.
When you talk about privacy coins, Dash has a high potential of reaching the milestones of BItcoin price and even more. Just imagine with its low supply and it reaches the market cap as BItcoin that's huge gain.

ETH is also a coin to put under your radar, I mean If any coin was to surpass BItcoin ETH is everybodys pick and guess what the Cryptocurrency market right now is controlled by emotions so it's a great pick.

There're many more just DYOR

8314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Discouraged with Bitcoin? on: April 25, 2018, 09:04:06 PM
Yeah I felt a little discouraged when it first started but as time went on, I discovered hard times like that was needed for the future of BItcoin but I know bitcon discussions marker definitely have that at hand I believe they will find a solution sooner
8315  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: April 25, 2018, 02:06:34 PM
Hello guys i am new here and i don't have any merit to give to someone? how does this work where to get merits.

Merit is like giving someone thumbs-up (e.g when you like a friends post on facebook)

As explained above the merit system was introduced to help prevent the posting of irrelevant and spam posts. You need this merit to progress to the next rank. Some merit are spendable that's you can reward others for quality post with it, while others are not. When you don't use those spendable merit it disappears.
Click on merit to see how many spendable merits you have.

Before you needed just activities to move to the next rank but now you need merits too and this will help reduce the rate of irrelevant (spam and scam) posts so their posts gets rewarded with merit.

In simple sentence when you merit someone for his post is like you're liking the post.

Kindly read the post again slowly and you will understand better
8316  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should bitcoin rise and fall? on: April 25, 2018, 01:57:23 PM
I prefer both. Reasons 1: BItcoin should fall so I can afford more to fill up my bags. 2: it should keep on rising so I get enough $$ to purchase my altcoins bags.  Nevertheless when bitcoin rises you sell when it dip you buy so both are needed for BItcoin to success. So I'm on both sides
8317  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit $25k in 2018? on: April 25, 2018, 01:53:44 PM
Depending on the total market capitalization. It was 800billions+ when bitcoin hits the 20k milestone so if the MarketCap hits 1 Trillions before the end of 2018 then we can see a $25k milestone although if that's gonna happen its going to be late 2018 let's say November-december
8318  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 25, 2018, 01:44:27 PM
Looking at the movement of the market I predict the price to be between $9500-$10,000. I prefer a stable growth then a pump, if it can grow by $500 monthly its cool by me then a sudden pump to 15k you know what that brings right 😂 a dump or let use the right world (correction).
8319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to pay $8200 for 1 BTC if you are a newbie? on: April 25, 2018, 01:24:38 PM
From the $8200 as started above that means 0.1btc will be roughly $820 so as a newbie I will advise that should be the highest you should afford. Put the rest into altcoins that can give you 500-10,000% ROI (Return Of investment) In 1-5years time.

Here is something must people will not tell you,  if you own 1 BItcoin,  for the next 20 years you will still have 1bitcoin. you can only gain when value of 1btc increases (e.g you bought 1btc at $8200 and sold 20years later at $82000). But when you invest that money in altcoins you also gain both in bitcoin and USD( or local currency)
8320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin govern the whole world? on: April 25, 2018, 01:15:50 PM
Nowadays bitcoin reach other countries and it is use in some transactions and very helpful in some country's economic.
What you can say?
Can bitcoin govern the world of business market, govern the world of every payments as it is moving to make it the future money.?

With the current BItcoin and exchangers situations, hacking, delay in confirmations, high fees etc, I don't think BItcoin is ready to govern the business world. But with time I'm positive BItcoin can. But it's gonna take alot of work.
