8301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Profit for one investor means loss to the other one? on: February 09, 2018, 12:20:24 PM
sombody has to pay fot ur profit i guess

Ironically this is correct. Somebody has to pay - even if it seems pretty cruel. When a new investors enters crypto market they buy coins at some price while someone else does sell it. So there is always the transfer of funds from one person to another in trading.

Though this is not how traders make money. They rely on the market volatility and how much FUD is influencing the market.

No, not always so. Of course, it often turns out like this, but everyone has the right to decide when to buy and when to sell. If you look at the example, then it is not obliged to sell when the price reached $ 6000 in January 2018

That is true. But they "will" sell at some time or the other. Nobody forces the other to sell or buy but they are humans and they need cash at hand at often times - which is when they might sell or sometime later on.
8302  Economy / Reputation / Re: The balls of a moron: adekpulpen. on: February 09, 2018, 04:55:06 AM
Hi sir? i can't message you so i post here in your thread, Why you put some negative feedback in my profile i didn't scam any people Sad

Simply view it in this manner.

A person who has  an account here has some social associations with other people - in other words the other people "know" that person via that account. If ever in future that account has been sold then the socially associated people would not be able to decipher whether they are talking to the same old friend or lurking scammer. This is why account sales leads to scams.

Secondly accounts are sold here to get in signature and bounty campaigns. Which is fairly obvious why they are to be tagged.

@The Pharmacist
Dude I am jealous that morons are PMing you for merits. I wish they would PM me. I would gladly give them something they "deserve"  Grin Grin Grin

Junior Member coming to the forum with no prior work reference and asking to be a bounty manager? Roll Eyes

Bitcointalk is a joke these days.
8305  Other / Meta / Re: Earning MERIT on: February 08, 2018, 01:20:30 PM
They aren't asking directly for merit. They ask me to review their posts, and I'm ambivalent about this. How can you tell if a persion is trying to get merits, or if it is a genuine request for advice about posting?
You have to decide that on your own if the person is begging for merits or if they are genuinely is need for reviewing of their posts.

Quote
For example - How do you interpret my post about my awarding sMerit. It was intended to give me some guidelines about the general forum attitude to their use, but some may misunderstand my motives. The attitude to merit awards seems to be pretty mixed. I'll probably go my own way, but I can be influenced by good logic. Smiley

I have read it. However I am very conservative about whom I am distributing merits too. I agree that there is a mixed reaction to the merit system and thus we have to give it some time for the dust to settle before coming to any conclusion about "meriting" posts.

As a general rule I merit those posts which I find as quality content which are helping others and adding more meaning to the discussion while being "engaging" and sometimes "entertaining"(if you get my idea  Grin)

A lot of professional answer there are detailed links, I have opened to view it. The new rules or forums better, I will slowly adapt.
Yeah and shitposting like this will not get you any merits.
8306  Economy / Reputation / Re: How to remove negative trust? (from Hilariousandco) on: February 08, 2018, 01:08:58 PM
Users should know what to do next after receiving negative trust. This will save a lot of confusion and time.

Useless.  Users don't even bother reading the rules to avoid getting negative trust.  What makes you think they'll read the rules after they get it?

Believe me, they will read it, especially after negative trust. Nobody read rules when signing up or when everything is ok. People read rules and search for help when in trouble.

I read the rules when I signed up. I specifically did not post or even visit several boards of this forum before I was competent enough to comment there or have enough wits to discuss. There are still boards in this forum where I dont tread on simply because Im not confident to post there or dont have enough knowledge to post.

We say patience is a virtue. Lacking patience will only make the situation harder for you. But like most humans who dont have patience you can try mkaing an new account and continue everything like it never happened. But dont worry if you try to abuse any campaigns we will find you.
8307  Other / Meta / Re: Earning MERIT on: February 08, 2018, 12:49:04 PM
I'm starting to get PMs asking me to evaluate posts. I don't respond or look at the posts, and I am considering adding them to by merit beggars gallery.

Anyone asking or begging another user/merit source for meriting their posts is tagworthy. I suggest you start keeping notes on who these people are and/or report that to Lauda for their opinion on this.

AFAIK asking for merit is looked down upon.
8308  Other / Meta / Re: Merit reactions for New Members: Why Merit & sMerit is a forum failure on: February 08, 2018, 10:34:49 AM
Not again a topic about Merits ?  Huh

What the fuck are you complaining about? Merits are the new black. The old boy's club love to parade their big dicks by showering merits on merit topics. Sheeesh, get with the program.

Can you please nuke yourself? ohh wait retards dont know how to talk I forgot.

BTW do you know that if you posted from your main account (even if it has negative trust) the words "might" carry some added relevance though people may not be interested in it.
8309  Other / Meta / Re: Is it okay to receive a merit from a friend or give some to a friend? on: February 08, 2018, 07:46:17 AM
If your friend post a high quality post then you should give merit, but if the post have a low quality then you shouldn't give the merit. Just follow the rules.

A user can give sMerit to another person "At their own will" - However mutual consensus is that merit-able content should be merited.

Also why would someone abuse their sMerits? Obviously for their own gains or if someone has paid them to do it. Get the idea? We have number of altaccount rings here spamming and getting paid - they will try to rank up by mutual sharing of merits. DT is keeping an eye on this and suspicious activity will be marked with red.

If someone is biased and giving merits to few specific people - then its obviously going to come under their watch.

@OP
I would definitely want to know who this "friend" of yours is who makes such quality posts.
8310  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What else after this massive dip ? on: February 08, 2018, 07:37:57 AM
As the history show us after a such massive dip usually expected a fast growth of crypto currency. So don't worry and you will see the magic in the near future as it has already been repeatedly.

Its true that dips have happened in future and seeing the market recovering from btc being 6k to 8k is something relieving to many people. It shows that there was no such "hack" or so like Mt.Gox in past. Although I am still pondering whether market is going to be stable in the next few days or not the entire market has bounced back.

I hope some traders stocked up on altcoins because this moment in crucial for the market. Since value of bitcoin had dropped the altcoins value had increased and now its rising and still its a good time to buy.
8311  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for real legid investor for projects of millions. on: February 08, 2018, 07:22:09 AM
We are a company that does in energy neutral housing. We just came back from Africa where we had meetings with Credit Foncier and a archbisschop who needs housing and a new community build with our concept. We are now making thecbuilding plans etc. They are now making the contracts where they give bank warranty for our investment. Their rule is that we need to invest first before payout. All details are available. We are now looking for investors for these projects. The housing projects wil be payed in blocks of 50 houses. That is an investment of around 4 million dollar. The church community of schools, hospitol, a church and some residants are placed at around 30 million dollar. Both are backed with gouverment/vatican based money waranty.
I am hoping that someone here knows or want to invest in such a project. Everything is pure and legid.

Please send me a pm with your contact details if you want more information.

Sorry for being such a grammar nazi but its "Hospital" and not "hospitol" and "government" not "gouverment"  Grin

The best one is this - "legit" not "legid"

Also this section is meant for lending and you will get a loan for a "valid" collateral only and not your words like "All details are available." and "Everything is pure and legid."

Without a collateral nobody will become an investor - you need to understand that you are risking their money as well so you need to provide some security to them form beforehand.

Again I suggest you to lock this topic or else DefaultTrust is going to come at ya.

The lending section is always entertaining Roll Eyes Its like the "ribticklers" in magazines Grin
Also buy yourself a dictionary and some English tuition....please I insist.
8312  Other / Meta / Re: Competition merits reward, need sponsors Legendary, Heroes, Sr., Fully on: February 08, 2018, 07:16:49 AM
And now the most important thing I can do is organize everything, but I'm just a member and I have 1 merits ((for this I need sponsors Legendary, Heroes, Sr., Fully, in general sponsors.) It can be agreed with the administration in principle, so that guarantee of the distribution of Merit later.
I ask to express their opinions.
First thing that came to my mind was you're telling sponsors to merit you and you'll manage the distribution of merits. And it felt like you're begging for merit nonchalantly.

You are wrong, I do not need anything for this! I can also participate in the competition on a general basis!

Ok so you talking about setting up a "Merit Competition" [which is shady already] and now you are saying that you will enroll in this competition yourself too?

Isnt that conflict of ideas? Joining your own competition?  Or are you simply trying to farm some merits hoping some merit-lacking member here to merit this OP for you?
8313  Other / Meta / Re: Competition merits reward, need sponsors Legendary, Heroes, Sr., Fully on: February 08, 2018, 05:22:19 AM
I would strongly recommend people to stay away from this "Merit competition" for now.

Merit is supposed to be the reward people will get from mutual forum members for providing good contributions to the forum and not supposed to be used a commodity for giveaways and competitions. OP is making this look like a sellout to be honest.

Garbage shitposters coming at with shitideas nowadays. Sad
8314  Other / Meta / Re: sMerit Decay system ? on: February 08, 2018, 05:14:12 AM
Please some one answer the sMerit decay system . How long it will gonna hold ? Just simple question >>

I think you are trying to imply how long the sMerits will remain until they decay. There is not an official declaration regarding this from admins. Also people should merit posts as per their wish and those which they deem as "quality" content because you never know when they are going to decay.

I believe this answers your question though a bit side-tracked. Let me know if you need any other clarification.

I suggest that you should never trust this person he stole my senior member account from me and also, he is an account farmer he is progamerjojo the addicted gambler.

I am cross-referencing my investigation about TheWinnerBro aka ProGamerJoJo. Feedback has been left on his account from DefaultTrust.

He is associated with several shady activities. All the evidence is provided in this thread :

Also going through his thread this is the only loan which was accepted by TheWinnerBro on his thread. I dont know if there have been other loans in PM.

Now today TheWinnerBro aka ProgamerJoJo on primedice forum comes and asks about how to unban a account which has been given as collateral to him. here - https://forum.primedice.com/topic/30278-bitcointalkorg/?do=findComment&comment=192396

8316  Other / Meta / Re: Merits as requirement. on: February 07, 2018, 08:00:59 AM
I think it will be difficult to get merit, especially for me who is new in this forum, I do not know how to get merit. very detrimental to new accounts if bounty payments are based on merit.

Very detrimental indeed. Huh

This was precisely the reason why the merit system was added. People who come to this forum with a hundred alt accounts to claim shitcoins airdrops and bounties.

Grow your account by making quality posts as simple as that.
8317  Other / Meta / Re: MERIT (Can merit points be exchanged?) on: February 07, 2018, 07:13:35 AM
Why so? Because you guys just want to rank up in a few days? Gone are the days where you could spam the forum with your vomitted half-English oneliners and get ranked up. Start making quality contribution to the forum and engage the people here. Otherwise forget about ranking up.

I guess you are taking his suggestion in wrong way. He suggested that if there are two members making quality posts, they can merit each others post. It does not mean they are involved or are trying to game the merit system.

Did you just come at me with your alt account "galkind" and "galkinn" ?
Anyway I am archiving this for future reference - http://archive.is/Sl1eQ

Lets see how this goes
8318  Other / Meta / Re: MERIT (Can merit points be exchanged?) on: February 07, 2018, 07:05:30 AM
Can merit points be exchanged legally or properly? like... reading each others' posts and add merit points to the posts "if and only if"
we personally find something interesting, sensible/knowledgeable and helpful?.

If this is in limits, like giving 1-2 points for quality points of each other it is fine. Do not keep repeating this as it will be unfair to other members.

Why so? Because you guys just want to rank up in a few days? Gone are the days where you could spam the forum with your vomitted half-English oneliners and get ranked up. Start making quality contribution to the forum and engage the people here. Otherwise forget about ranking up.

All you people are interested in is signature campaign spamming. While being inconsiderate towards to garbage in this forum. Being fair about merit means to give merit who "deserve" it and not like being a charity.
8319  Economy / Reputation / Re: Multiaccounting and cheating bounty campaign - need DT members. on: February 07, 2018, 06:28:25 AM
Hi,

are you saying that someone got hold of your account details and used your account without your knowledge?

Exactly!
Basically my password was 2 letters repeated 4 times  Embarrassed

I am not buying the story.

You don't have to buy anything, just look the pattern.
You are an idiot with no idea how to create strong passwords. How on earth are you in the interwebz and still so safe? This is a pretty old excuse that the account was hacked and thus they are innocent of all accusations. How I take on this? - you are responsible for your account's safety and hence you are responsible for the actions taken by this account.

Moreover, it is sad to see that these people with "power" are like dictators, totally unilateral. Probably they are lonely weak creatures outside of this forum.
You have a lot to learn about the forum about DefaultTrust and about how petitions can be made and if claims are properly supplied with evidence the ratings are removed  Smiley (being able to provide evidence is not easy though).

I will distribute some red paint for you people in a few minutes.
8320  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why almost everybody suggest to hold? on: February 07, 2018, 06:18:37 AM
as you can see the market now, we cant do anything. Do you wanna sell your coins and lose much money? of course no. So, the best way is hodling.

I wont say its the best way to make money. But definitely not the bad way or a way to lose money. Refer to people who bought bitcoin at dirt cheap price and then sold it in 2017 - man they made some nice profits.

Also one can do a lot of things by observing the market, for example they can plan their next altcoin purchase which they missed at ICO or so. There are people who are banking cash from ICOs but not everyone gets to have the big ones. The red market is the time to buy them.
