8361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP WINNER,PLAYER OF THE TOURNAMENT ? WHO DO YOU GOT ?! on: June 09, 2018, 12:04:49 PM
^  No go on the bet?  It'll be fun...  And the winner gets bragging rights.  Lol.  And it isn't really about the BTC, it's just 10 - 25 bucks worth.  It's just having a bet with somebody in the gambling section makes things more interesting.  Grin
8362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real-Life Professional Gambler will help you recover your losses on: June 08, 2018, 03:31:31 PM
Rofl professional roullette!  You're kidding right?  Cheesy

And the thing about pros is they would never ask for any money or offer any 'services' if they are winning.  They would mostly be eager to help out a fellow gambler who's going thru a bad run.
He was actually kidding. He meant to say a non-professional gambler that would help you run away with the little funds you have left. It would take someone who is stupid to actually fall for such a trick. Any professional obviously knows that everything is luck and most especially a game of such.

Generally, in the gambling world, even with poker than at least come with a little bit of skills still all balls down to luck and someone offering a service like this is actually looking for naive and gullible ones to feed on.

Uuuhh nope.  Tho luck plays a role, poker pros usually trust and rely solely in the math.  Every decision usually made is always what's good 'in the long run'.

Poker on TV with the high stakes pros gambling for big pots is not what it really is.  Those shows are edited.  Poker is more of a grind making +EV decisions as much as you can.
8363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ethereum, Ripple and Their Regulatory Capture Advantage Over the Competition on: June 08, 2018, 02:01:08 PM
I tried to talk about this in the FJ Discord but there was a lack of responses.  I might as well bring it here and see what you guys think and gather opinions.

I know the research is lacking but I'll update the thread as soon as I get all the facts straight, like 'who exactly went to the SEC and represented Ethereum and Ripple'.  I heard Andersen Horowitz was there (that true?).  If he was, then more questions...  Which crypto (let's call both crypto for simplicity's sake, I know the issue about XRP) was he representing?  ETH or XRP?

Anyway read below.  What do you guys think?

Quote
So the SEC just hired another advisor for crypto...  And Ripple hired a former SEC director to make a case that XRP isn't a security.  I think something's up.  This could be regulatory capture at its best with those people (maybe) talking behind the scenes.

I think Ethereum could be part of it too.  Remember the news about a closed door SEC hearing on Ethereum and Ripple last month?  ETH and Ripple reps could be shilling their warez to the regulators...  Again regulatory capture if the SEC starts favoring some ICO's (and other privately funded projects) over the rest.  That means bad news for ADA, EOS, etc...

8365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 08, 2018, 01:29:43 PM
^  Yup.  I don't see him leaving too unless it's gonna be another record transfer like Coutinho to Barca.  They could def use the business, considering that Liverpool is trying to bolster their squad.

This could be THE season they're going after that EPL trophy.

Salah will stay with LFC
Source?

According to L'Équipe, Liverpool are very close to signing Nabil Fekir.

Apparently, Liverpool have reached an agreement with Lyon, deal is around €65m + bonuses. An official announcement from Liverpool is expected in the coming days. I think 65m is a bargain...now Liverpool needs a quality CB to rotate van Dijk or Lovren, and a quality GK (Alisson Becker, Roma goalkeeper, has been linked several times with Liverpool)

To say that 65+ EUR is a bargain for a single player shows that this transfer market is crazy.  Cheesy

^  The January high was nowhere close to a super nova.  Have you seen how high XRP's ATH went?  3 USD per XRP!  I (and I bet anybody else) never thought it was gonna be possible for it to go over a buck but it did.

Now...  Just look how they've set up TRX.  It's worth a gamble imo.

Heh.  BTCP?  By that serial forker Rhett Creighton?  Lawl.  I wonder who even bothered splitting for their share of BTCP.

Oh and don't feed the troll.  /Ignore.
8370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) is going crazy. on: June 07, 2018, 01:22:46 PM
^  Bag holders?  No bag holders here...  Not yet at least.  Wink  TRX hasn't even gone super nova yet.  And I think that could happen when voting for SR's start on June 26.  It won't happen right off the bat but tho cos there could be some speculators dumping around that time.

Shakhtar Donetsk player Fred has been arrive today at Manchester United that he would perform medical tests in that club and possibly in the near future Manchester United will introduce him as new player and Man Utd have to spend £52,5 million to buy him and with that price Fred breaking the record transfer of the most expensive player for Shakhtar Donetsk

Is he any good, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him play. He’s been playing there forv7 years, if he was that good it seems a bit weird that nobody has been interested sooner.

If Pep wants him and United wants then he prolly is...  In a Fernandinho kind of way.  Cheesy

And he's prolly what Pogba needs (even in a 4 2 3 1) to cover the midfield once Pogba goes on the offensive.  Fernandinho does the same for City commiting tactical fouls to stop the opponents' flow in the offense (in a counter).
8373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 225: Whittaker vs Romero 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: June 07, 2018, 11:06:06 AM
^  Meh.  I don't care much about that match.  And it shouldn't be in the main card imo, considering how both fought vs Mickey Gall.  Dana White could do a better job finding a fighter from McGregor's camp fight a fighter from Khabib's camp and hype that.  Grin

Anyway I feel Romero could KO Whitaker...  I feel it!

Edit:  Where are the rest of the UFC regs?
8374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: June 06, 2018, 11:59:16 AM
I guess monero lost it's stronghold for now, from top 5 it losses it's position to now 12 i guess. I believe the blame is on the devs itself because of there are no upcoming news or further developments as of now. I guess it is time for the devs to come up with something new that may convince it's previous and new investors. Not just another community hype but a progress that will make XMR a promising coin for the future.

Dead project.  Move along.  I wish they would work on the development of Monero, but there is never any progress.  I think I will sell my last 3 XMR for cardano or maybe tron, where constant progress is the rule.
Bitconnect is best buy now, 100000x gains by christmas

Solidcoin only coin.

No hilarious guy on stage yelling 'Bbbiiiiikkooonnneeeeek!!!!' tho.  Cheesy

8376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 06, 2018, 11:43:32 AM
The people who have been left out of this year's world cup is a saddening reality.

Goalkeepers:

Leno, Hart, Asenjo.

Defenders:

David Luiz, Bellerin, M. Alonso, Laporte, Sandro.

Midfielders:

Gotze, Schurrle, Payet, Fabregas, Nainggolan, Wilshere, Neves, Rabiot.

Forwards:

Sane, Martial, Lacazette, Benzema(lol), Icardi, Morata, Coman.

Source: https://www.givemesport.com/football

The saddest part is that most of them were left out for no fault of theirs. Many of them were performing well. But players such as Nainggolan were left out because the national team coach was not very fond of them.

^  Lmao!  I that squad could win the World Cup imo.

And tomahawk9, no Alexis Sanchez and Bale?  I mean I get that Fabregas or Nainggolan aren't included in their respective national teams but can Chile or Wales make do without Sanchez and Bale?  It's pretty surprising...

Edit:  No Verrati really???
8377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 225: Whittaker vs Romero 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: June 06, 2018, 11:29:13 AM
No love for this 'kinda stacked' event?  Lol.

But yeah...  I think the main card could bring down a couple of fights and bring up Overeem vs Blaydes and Gadelha vs Esparza.  I'm not really too excited about CM Punk and Arlovski.

Anyway here are some of videos to get you guys interested (somehow)...  Lol.

Germany has made official the 23-man squad for the WC:

https://twitter.com/DFB_Team/status/1003571830727364608

Leroy Sané didn't make the final cut...not surprising tbh, he's been really poor when he plays with the NT, unlike Julian Brandt and Draxler who have proven to be quality for Die Mannschaft. Solid team, definitely among the main candidates to win the trophy.
It's a bit shit they left Gotze out.
wow! I forgot about Gotze...and they (Joachim Löw and his staff) probably did as well...tbh, can't take any chances with a player that's been unnoticed for so long. They didn't even include him in the pre-list of 27 players for the WC.

Germany has made official the 23-man squad for the WC:

but I expect that there are hidden things non technical behind the exclusion Have a bad relationship with the coach and colleagues. So i think that love don't believe in Sane to help the  collective team like Draxler Muller and Reus.
I doubt there's something going on behind the scenes. I honestly think Joachim Löw just wan't impressed with Sane's performance in the last few games with the NT, which were underwhelming to say the least.

Is Gotze still a thing?  I thought he had some disease or something.  Lol.

And yup...  Sucks that Sane didn't make the cut.  But he's young.  I'm pretty sure he'll be in it on 2022.
8379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP WINNER,PLAYER OF THE TOURNAMENT ? WHO DO YOU GOT ?! on: June 05, 2018, 01:16:05 PM
tokeweed are you getting yourself in trouble making side bets again Grin
Bro you are brilliant Cheesy

Just having fun bro...  Grin

The bets aren't really that much.

And the player of the tournament for me should be Neymar JR[/b][/i][/u]

Top player of the tourney, meaning the top scorer?  I wanna propose a side bet vs you.  Minimum 10 USD in BTC, maximum 25 USD.

I bet Messi to score higher against all comers.  I'm willing to bet vs two people who joined hilariousandco's FIFA World Cup 2018 betting pool or Joca97.

Haha i can go if you want ,so do i have to pick someone against you or all of the other players😂

Ok let's go!  If you choose Messi (me) vs Neymar (you), then we can do a 50/50 bet for up to 25 USD (10 USD minimum.  And the player who scores higher wins.

But if you wanna do Messi (me) vs all players (you) then I'm willing to make that bet with me winning x9.00.  Meaning I bet 10 USD against your 80 USD.

Choose.

hahaha lol,you can make a bet with a sportsbook as well you know that ? Cheesy

its better if i make a live bet on 1.20 odd Cheesy hahah

But I would rather bet vs you.  It would make the WC more fun and we could have some friendly banter in the thread.  Wink

Huh wtf?  1.20 odds?  Where did you get that and for which bet?  Lol.  Cheesy

The Messi and Neymar 'to score the highest' lines are pretty close making it a coin flip if they went head to head ( I think).

And the Messi 9.00 is pretty much around what Nitrogen is offering...  I'm not hustling you.  I really wanna make a fair bet for fun since you made a good prediction.  Wink
