841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: God of winning be with all the gamblers in 2019. on: January 08, 2019, 07:37:29 AM
Gambling isnt bad but if your motive already comes to a point where you already messing things up then thats the problem do begins.
I have seen people to lose everything in gambling. A friend of mine even sold his house, wife left him with 5 kinds. These people forget everything when they get some money in their hand. Straight way they will go to the bookies and put the money. They will keep playing until they lose everything again.

Gambling is fun as long as you can afford to lose the money you lost.

Exactly. I know several people who suffered a similar fate which was completely their own fault. They depended way too much on sheer luck and lost everything and are working day and night to pay their bills these days.

It is obvious that gambling is truly tempting in so many ways, but the fact is that there is a relative degree of risk involved in this industry which some people seem to forget. This is why everyone says to invest only what you are willing to lose.
842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on: January 07, 2019, 06:28:00 AM
There are so many to choose from.
I suggest going to the gambling threads and search there. |H|ere you willget the same answer over and over again endlessly. While you can just get your answer by simply searching for yourself in gambling section. This is a bitcoin forum after all Roll Eyes so all that you will see there are bitcoin related casinos.

I would also suggest to lock this thread.
Thanks for caring  Wink

Why lock this thread? Op asked a simple question and you recommend locking this thread? How silly. No need to act so dramatic buddy. Coming to the question posted by op, I feel that you need to do your own research since there are tons to choose from. In my opinion, bitcoinrush is one of my favorites along with bitcoin primarily due to their superb ratings. I like the user interface of that website too and its easy to understand the mechanics of that website for a beginner. Do your research op.
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the most nonsensical invention in human history on: December 31, 2018, 06:43:29 AM
First of all, all your long essay proves you don't know the main reason for the existence of Bitcoin. I think you should read the Bitcoin Whitepaper and then watch the movie "Dope" and then read the article about the woman who paid her workers with Bitcoin and then read the tweets of Craig wright (not his supporter bit he's got sound arguments about the use case of Bitcoin).
All your argument is based on trading (and that's not the absolute Bitcoin purpose).

Well said. I honestly did not have the patience to read through the wall of text, but understood the gist of it and you provided the perfect response. I watched the movie that you mentioned recently and had a blast.

So many vendors are already using Bitcoin on a regular basis, but they never advertise their dealings which is the reason so many people like op think that Bitcoin is useless while the reverse is actually true.

Bitcoin is leading a new generation of payment methods whether anyone likes it or not even though its value will continue fluctuating on a regular basis.
844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Bitcoin seem to always rally in December? on: December 29, 2018, 06:08:19 AM

Just a slight uptick in price and it's already declared a rally ....  Grin  the stupidity and ignorance of even the most basic understanding of real world economics is so rampant on this forum.

You do know the basic definition of a rally, don't you? This is clearly a mini rally where the entire market had surged along with Bitcoin and almost anyone with a half decent brain understood that much.

The cryptocurrency market news reports also indicated that much. This is the primary reason why many people choose to stay away from this forum due to the negativity spread by people like you on this forum.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: a factor that will make bitcoin recover on: December 27, 2018, 05:59:01 AM
The supply and demand logic is one of the primary reasons why I strongly believe that Bitcoin will recover in a big way, but this will take a lot of time which is why investors need to stay patient.

Forget the ETF proposals since I feel none of them will spark any kind of rally in the future and screw the theories about Bitcoin merging with other coins since I find such theories laughable.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the reason of ETH bull run? on: December 25, 2018, 05:53:50 AM
I wonder what is the main reason why did the ethereum is on bull run? Is it because of the Constantinople upgrade?

Well I guess the hardfork has something to do to it, becuase they said, in the future there will be a hardfork that will going to happen. Another thing is that, ERC 20 will going to be listed on coin base and I guess it has a positive implication to ETH. That is why people are investing way too much now in Eth compared to other cryptocurrency in the cryptocurrency space.

I doubt any of these reasons had anything to do with Ethereum rallying recently. The primary reason for this rally in my opinion is the rally by Bitcoin(King of the cryptocurrency market) which helped many popular cryptocurrencies in this manner.

This market works in mysterious ways. Bitcoin is the primary driving factor for this market and many people seem to forget that for some silly reasons. I highly doubt this rally will continue for long and this could simply be a mini rally.

847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] 📒⭐👑 Jinbi Token ~ The Golden ICO - Merging Gold With Blockchain 👑⭐📒 on: December 23, 2018, 07:32:41 AM
This is turning out to be the most unpleasant experience that I have ever had with bounty campaigns in this forum. Literally advertised this token for a couple of months.

1. They kept delaying the payment several months at a time.

2. Sudden KYC implementation which is messed up on a completely different level.

3. Stupid KYC is taking months to be reviewed (Not surprised).

4. Used to think that Sylon was one of the best campaign managers in this forum, but not anymore. He doesn't respond to participants regularly and is very inactive.

5. Will definitely not be surprised if the team comes forward and says that KYC will be reviewed by March 2019 delaying it even further.

6. This smelt like a scam from the moment they began delaying the payments which is despicable and disgusting to say the least. These teams and their tokens are the reasons why cryptocurrencies get a bad name.

7. Feel sad that I wasted my efforts on this campaign whereas I could have earned way more by investing my efforts into a legit campaign, but I feel even more sad for the investors who invested millions into this token.

8. Huge lessons to be learnt here people. Research is crucial.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When bullrun comes on: December 22, 2018, 06:25:36 AM
Funny title op. Anyway, I don't think that the next big bull run will start anytime soon and the current mini rally will correct itself very soon most likely. Forget about 2018 and focus on HODLING all your coins and tokens for the next 1-5 years which is the time frame during which I am expecting the next big bull run. Forget BAKKT, ETF proposals and all other scheninigans and simply focus on improving your portfolio. Check out the market now and then, but don't check it way too often.
849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull Run or Dead Cat Bouncing ? on: December 20, 2018, 07:08:15 AM
bull run=
2016 $300^
2017 $900^
2018 $3200^

daily/weekly volatility=
cubs(small bears) v
calves(small bulls)^

personally i use the mining cost/market dynamic numbers to help find the bottomline support which has been a good guide for years of knowing the bottom.

the final difficulty adjustment of 2018 just happened. and so now we are in the realm of mining pools knowing the next difficulty jump WILL be affected by the delivery of next gen asics getting delivered in a week to thousands of people.
pushing up hashrate. pushing up costs. and therefore making many prefer to buy coin as a cheaper option, sparking a price rise

I agree with your points. Did not know this as a matter of fact and simply another reason why Bitcoin will rise again at some point in the future most likely in the next 1-5 years. I don't think that the ETF proposal any such reason will help push the market in the upward direction.

Mainstream adoption and the supply and demand logic are 2 primary reasons which can help push the market in the right direction. HODLING for the long term is the best strategy in this aspect.
850  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullrun will always come , Newbies do your research well on: December 18, 2018, 06:38:58 AM
I still don't understand why people are so worried about bitcoin present condition, new cryptocurrency investors are the ones getting everything wrongly. After months of living in worries i desperately want to understand how crypto works ,while using coinmarket cap I came to understand that Bullrun and bear run will always come around ,from 2009 to 2017 graph clears all my doubts as many bullrun has been in existence since day 1, 2017 was the highest ,what will be next ? 20k ? 30k or double of that ? We all need to chill and relax ,this days will always find their way back in time .Do your research ,past histories have all your answers

Bull and bear runs will not always come. That is fantasy talk. Eventually the market will cease to be relevant and people will no longer invest in it and therefore there will be no more bullish runs.

I strongly believe we have not reached that point yet but I just want you to be aware that relying solely on history will lead you to ruin.

Lol. I don't agree with you at all. It is true that it is not wise to depend on the past to predict the future, but the information from the past is always helpful while preparing to invest for the future.

This is why it is never wise to forget the past, but instead it is best to learn from the past to prosper in the future. Don't depend on charts or any sort of analysis since that sort of stuff rarely helps in this extremely volatile market.
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think that Bitcoin atleast will fall to 1000$ and Ethereum to 10$ in some mont on: December 12, 2018, 06:34:07 AM
You may be right op. Bitcoin may actually fall to $1000 and Ethereum may fall to $10, but that does not mean that this will be their permanent value. Do you even realize how volatile this market truly is?

Bitcoin may bounce back to $10k or drop back down to $2k due to a specific reason or no reason at all. Don't bother speculating op. Its all about selling at the right moment. I suggest HODLING your coins and tokens until the next big rally instead of panicking like crazy.
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: *** URGENT MESSAGE ABOUT CRYPTO *** Please Read. on: December 10, 2018, 06:09:35 AM
Great post op. I completely agree with what you are trying to state. It is a known fact that almost everyone including me joined this market primarily for the opportunity to earn millions through minimal effort.

This is why the entire world praised Bitcoin and altcoins during the big rally of 2017, but are completely against it at the moment collectively due to prolonged bear market this year. I tend to ignore the opinions of such people.

Bitcoin will always be the king of the cryptocurrency market and will rise back up sometime in the future and I am completely confident about this.
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think the market needs to get back on track?! on: December 08, 2018, 06:28:58 AM
Right now what is needed by cryptocurrency world is trust, when everyone has more trust in cryptocurrency then that will be the time for cryptocurrency market to stand on it's feet again.

Trust? Really? I don't think trust will turn the market around in any meaningful way whatsoever and this is the cold hard truth. The market continues to dive since many investors have lost their willpower to continue HODLING their coins and tokens due to the prolonged bear market which has affected everyone in a negative way leading many to believe that the crypto gold rush is finally over. The ETF proposal delay was the final nail in the coffin and the market will most likely continue diving downwards unless something major happens(Positive news). Anything can happen in such a volatile market.
854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My 120 Days In Bounty Hunting & What I have Learnt on: December 06, 2018, 06:20:41 AM
Enjoyed reading your experience with bounties op. The truth is that bounties are extremely rewarding only when the market is bullish due to obvious reasons which is why many people earned huge amounts during the 2017 rally.

Bounties are worthless majority of the time during a bear market also due to obvious reasons which is why I always recommend avoiding bounties under such conditions. This is a point that you forgot to mention clearly in your long post.

Time is money people which is why I advise not wasting your time with bounties during bear market conditions unless the bounties pay in Bitcoin and are managed by recognized managers in this forum.
855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next month early January 2019. on: December 05, 2018, 06:03:25 AM
At this choppy market condition i would like not to recommend any coins for investment untill we can see visible signs of recovery, my personal analysis has lead me to pick ethereum as much as i can because eth seems to be at the bottom now and big upgrades are coming next month so i think first quarter of next year can be huge for eth, im sure eth will start booming in anticipation of the upgrades from the last week of this month or maybe earlier.

I agree. 2018 has been a game changing year opening the eyes of many investors and everyone have now understood that this market is not a permanent gold mine to feed off for the rest of your life.

So many people actually thought that the market will continue rallying like crazy for many more years and never expected a correction which just goes to show how naive they were at the end of the day.

As you stated, it is better to invest into popular coins like Ethereum and HODL for the long term instead of focusing on less relevant coins.
856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto is alive? Today he posted on p2p foundation. Your opinion? on: December 03, 2018, 06:30:04 AM
This is how easy it is to trick noobs into thinking satoshi is back. If you lurk around and research, you will find out the fact that this email accounts have all been hacked. Even his bitcointalk was considered compromised and closed. his vistomail and the gmx accounts also were hacked (and by the way, never use gmx, they are the worst shit imaginable, your accounts will stop working out of nowhere and you will lose anything attached to them).

The only way to prove someone is Satoshi, is to move genesis coins, if they can't do it, it's nonsense. And even if they can, it would just mean whoever did it has access to said coins, it wouldn't necessarily mean he is the original coder.

You spoke my mind. I cannot believe how gullible people can be sometimes. Firstly, Satoshi Nakamoto is one of the biggest mysteries at present and I don't think this mystery will ever be solved in my honest opinion.

This is why I don't seem to understand why people think it is Satoshi himself who is controlling his/her account. It could be a hacker as you stated. It could be someone from his/her family.

Satoshi may or may not be alive, but his vision endures. Bitcoin is still alive and kicking and that is all that matters at the end of the day.
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitter Truth on: December 01, 2018, 06:31:32 AM
Of course why would someone buy expensive Bitcoin when you can get it a discount? It just doesn't make any sense. Not just Bitcoin but other crypto currency as well.

The problem is that we didn't know the discounted price, (bottom) that's why majority is still holding back, but I'm sure that when the price reaches <$4K, a lot of investors will have a panic buying. Lol. So let's see how everything goes if Bitcoin will continue its downtrend or not.

The thing that many people are afraid of at the moment is that the discounted prices that you guys are talking about could actually not be discounts and may result in losses with the entire market plunging on a regular basis these days.

No one knows the bottom as you stated which is why many including me are refraining from investing into this market at the moment and are patiently waiting by the sidelines to observe how the market performs in the near future.

858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make Bitcoin Great Again on: November 29, 2018, 08:46:35 AM
i strongly disagree with this. because basically you are saying "price has dropped, lets make it rise again and call that 'great'". bitcoin is not about price and profit. so when its price drops it doesn't mean it stopped being "great"!
it you want to run a campaign advertising bitcoin, that is great. but as long as you are not doing it to make the price go up. and more importantly as long as you are not advertising bitcoin to others as a means to make profit because of its rises.
doing things like this will only increase the volatility and make the rise (the thing you are hoping for) harder. we don't want more speculators running around, we want more real adoption. we want merchants running a full node, a lightning node and accept payments through bitcoin. we want people who see the advantages of using this unique decentralized currency and spend it.

I agree. This is seriously stupid and sounds bad. Bitcoin has always been great op and you must have lost your mind if you haven't noticed that. Bitcoin has risen from a few cents all the way to $20k in a few years.

It has dropped in value from $20k all the way to under $4k, but $4k is still a significant increase when compared to a few cents which is something that many people choose to ignore.

As you mentioned, adoption needs to happen naturally and not in an artificial manner. Bitcoin will always be the most popular cryptocurrency in my opinion no matter how low its value dives.
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrencies Continue to Suffer From Deep Losses? on: November 27, 2018, 06:09:52 AM
The problem is that many people still seem to think that this is not a volatile environment where prices don't fluctuate a lot which is completely their fault for thinking in such a manner. There is a reason why many people including me have always advised to invest only what you are willing to lose. The market situation seems like it might continue to deteriorate and many worthless coins and tokens will disappear. Only the popular coins will survive and the market will begin recovering only if something big(positive) happens triggering another bull run, but this seems unlikely for quite sometime at least.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Are The Bears? on: November 23, 2018, 06:24:53 AM
The logical answer is that almost everyone in this volatile market is a bear op. Majority of the investors in this market have already sold all or a big portion of their portfolio in order to recover their losses or cash in their profits.

A small portion of them are HODLING for the long term and this is a minority if you haven't already noticed. It is extremely difficult to HODL your coins and tokens in this volatile environment(Example: Look at the current market situation).

This has always been the truth and I doubt this will change anytime soon in the future.
