841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining crash coming soon? on: January 30, 2018, 11:17:40 PM
I noticed earlier in the month on whattomine.com a 1080 TI would generate about $10 per day. The last week was about $5 per day and I see it says $4 per day as of today. Do you think a mining crash is coming soon and when?

My 1070 struggle to make $3 a day

They want $999 for a 1070

Something is wrong. Something is very wrong

You're numbers are off again.  Retailers are asking around $530 usd for a 1070.  You're probably just confused about who you are really buying from.

sure just like nvidia has sales all the time, let me tell you I didnt have enough time to put my credit card in before they yanked it out my cart

most places are 900 and up

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487265

That link just proves you are confused about who you are buying from.  That is a reseller on NewEgg.  That is not a link to a gpu being sold by NewEgg.  Guess you missed the part that says ... "Sold and Shipped by: uShopMall".

Its worth Rs.1682122.63 in sri lankan rupees
150 british pound

This is why you're better off with google.

You're better off looking at the exchange that you want to buy BTC from.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nicehash BTC payouts declining past couple days? on: January 30, 2018, 10:34:30 PM
I'm having the same decline...

my 1 1070 use to make me $5 a day

it struggles to make $3 a day

yet the store still wants $800 for a $300 card...

something is wrong....something is VERY wrong

The MSRP of a 1070 was $379 at launch, not $300.  Retail for a 1070 is about $530 right now, not $800.  That's in USD.  Your numbers are off.  That or you are not shopping at the right stores.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Increases Vulnerability of PC? on: January 30, 2018, 03:17:55 PM
I wouldn't be concerned with that.  Mining software is flagged by AV, because malicious websites use code that allows them to mine with your computer while you are on their site, without you knowing it.

Errrm, that is not why it's flagged.

It flagged because hackers put mining software inside their viruses so they can command and control your machine to mine for them.  What websites run has nothing to do with malware signatures.

If you're using mining software that isn't established and proven to be legit by the masses, you're a fucking idiot.  And if you're downloading legit mining software from sources other than the proven and established ones, you're a fucking idiot.

Legit mining software is flagged by AV ... Hmmm, I wonder why.  Lol.

Get it from a legit source, and you're fine.  And don't download wallets for shitcoins that you've done zero research on.  Jesus Christ people.

Maybe the person confidently answering the questions of others that mining software is flagged because web sites use javascript to mine shouldn't be going around calling others "fucking idiot"?  You apparently do wonder why it is flagged because you thought it was because of web sites mining.

It's really frustrating seeing so many "answers" on this forum being bad information.

Not necessarily.

Check it out, was is the best Coin for your Hardware

http://whattomine.com/

If a coin is listed on that site, it's too late to mine that. You need to move on and find new ones.

Lol ... Are you still waiting for that Lambo?  Keep waiting.  It's not coming.  Not for you brother. Haha.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nicehash BTC payouts declining past couple days? on: January 30, 2018, 01:42:24 AM
Im down by almost $20 a day on nicehash.

Over what period of time?  A day, a week, a month, a year?
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are you mining right now ....and why? on: January 30, 2018, 01:40:52 AM
these days are bad days for mining. profits are so low. İts better to give a break maybe Smiley Or just hold your rewards for future !

What the hell are you talking about?

Mining profits are still near an all time high.

Yeah I'm thinking the same thing about his comment ... WTF?

It’s pretty easy to feel this way after holding mined coins for a while and adjusting past daily returns to current prices, which I assume is what he’s comparing to.

Awhile?  If you started mining with good hardware a few months ago, you should still be happy.  No, btc is not anywhere close to it's all time high today, but damn.  Greedy much?
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Increases Vulnerability of PC? on: January 30, 2018, 12:53:06 AM
Honestly .... Mine on your mining rigs, not the pc that you use for everything else.  Trade on a computer that you use for nothing else as well. Generate private keys offline and keep them in a note book and on a thumb drive that you never plug into a pc that is connected to the internet, if you really want to be secure.

One bitcoin for is is worth 11084.00 US Dollar.Due to value is volatile so you must expect that the value will change from time to time.

From time to time in BTC is about the equiv of hour by hour.
854  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I dont understand, no payouts from anywhere on: January 29, 2018, 11:38:18 PM
Okay now it is working in nanopool.

Sooo, at this point here is the list of pools which i had problems with, sorry i erased some of the bookmarks so list is shorter.  Maybe this will help save time for others.

https://easyhash.io
https://www.easyblock.pro
http://us-etn-stats.hashparty.io/#
http://intensecoin.com/pool/
http://intense.miningpools.us/

Not all pools have the same min payout threshold.  I use SpacePool for ETN.  I see payouts every hour or two, the rig I have on that has six Vega 56's.

One BTC is worth whatever another person is willing to pay for it at any given time.

If you're not cashing out daily, tracking what you made in fiat daily isn't accurate.

In the end, you set the price, because you make the decision when to sell.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CPU monero mining? on: January 29, 2018, 09:21:12 PM
It's not worth it if you're trying to make money by doing it.  If you're just experimenting, go for it.
