Theymos Claims Josh Garza Is Sending Him Legal Threats To Have Content Removed

Quote
Theymos, owner of bitcointalk.org and a moderator of /r/bitcoin, is claiming that he has been on the receiving end of legal threats from Josh Garza and his legal team. Garza is claimed to be demanding the removal of things from /r/bitcoin and the bitcointalk.org forums although it is not known which content Garza specifically takes offense to given much of what is being posted.

[...]

Asked his opinion of GAW's founder Josh Garza and Paycoin itself, Theymos said:

From what I've read, GAW Miners used to be a decent hardware company. However:

Paycoin is really stupid.

Cloud mining in general is a very dangerous field to invest in. (As if mining wasn't dangerous enough…)
Jeff Garza and his lawyers keep sending me legal threats to try to get me to remove things from /r/Bitcoin and bitcointalk.org, which is extremely suspicious and annoying.
I recommend avoiding them as much as possible.

Have you tried asking at places such as http://www.stackexchange.com ? They have been able to solve most coding problems I have.

I believe it's something I broke with the CSS, I'll give that a shot. Thanks

I hope everyone had a great first day of 2015!
Good news, Devscrow will remain free throughout the year and will continue to provide the most secure escrow service on the forum.

Stay tuned for some HUGE announcements to come.

I'm think I'm sufficient competent, because I'm learning from my mistake/forgetfulness; but someone make me really trouble. Thanks again to the community.

What happens when your mistakes/forgetfulness cost someone a lot of bitcoin or the admins don't step in (which they luckily did for you in this case) and the account is forever ruined or perma banned? Can and are you prepared to foot the bill? You need to take that into consideration because being an escrow isn't a responsiblity or worry-free job as people are depending on you for a smooth and safe transaction and you need to be able to guarantee this from your end.

That's the only way to do it. If someone asks you to provide escrow for their transaction and you lose the collateral or fail to secure the transaction, you're responsible.
852  Economy / Services / Re: .01 to anyone that gives negative trust to redsn0w on: January 01, 2015, 09:11:49 PM
Redsn0w scammed me and needs more negative trust.

I will give .01 to anyone that gives him negative trust. If you are on default trust I give .031016

We can use escrow or you send first. PM me your btc address once it is done

Quoted for reference.
Thanks. Post or PM your address and I will give you .031016

I was actually quoting it to use as a reference for your negative feedback.

857  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Faucet Rotater Script Only 0.02 BTC ! on: December 28, 2014, 03:07:20 AM
Anyway good bye Tongue Cry

You can have your own rotater !

You didn't even code this and you think you have the right to sell it?
I originally coded this script and gave it to a friend of mine who owns bitcoinrotator.com, you ripped it straight from there.

devthedev handled our signature campaign professionally. He ensured that necessary amount of coins is always available in the escrow address and made the payments in time. Top notch communication.

We've paid out 2.7895 BTC through devscrow and would easily trust him with larger amounts in the future.

Thank you!

It was a pleasure working with you.

I was able to get an escrow address from dev and everything went smooth as usual. There is a good reason why I have used him several times
Made a successful transaction using his escrow service. I would definitely recommend using his service.
Smooth transaction.

Thanks for the feedback.
