841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: August 24, 2023, 10:59:32 AM
The opportunity does exist for Manchester City to add another title in the Champions League this season, but it's still too early to talk about now because we haven't seen how all the teams that entered the Champions League will look like this season. There will definitely be surprises in the Champions League this season and all teams really have to work harder when competing in the Champions League because strong teams are not only in England, but also from other countries this season.
Any team that competes in the Champions League is regarded as the strongest, most capable, and best-performing squad in its respective league. Since being eligible for the Champions League indicates that a team is among the champs in their league, none of them would think less of the other because they can compete and lift the Champions League trophy like the others.
Teams that haven't won the Champions League trophy in a while would like to make another attempt to do so this season, while those that haven't in the past would like to compete for the Champions League title(increasing the level of competition in the Champions League this year).  I can't wait to see how Manchester City and the rest would dig out their match result this time around
Now we are living in new era of the soccer which winning trophy is never been easy without huge investments and here all clubs are not lucky enough to have success and investments as they wanted in recent time mostly clubs which are having quality players and enough sources are able to secure their success but still UEFA Champions League is one of the prestigious event in soccer world and best teams from the Europe are participating in this event.

This season again is going to be very competitive because situation is very interesting with many top teams are having quality players which are creating good entertainment for the title race even still many pundits are surely Manchester City and Bayern Munich are going to be tough teams to watch but few clubs from Italy and Spain are also going to have surprises because they are also on better run and improved performance.

Netherlands will definitely be the perfect chance, I do not know where he lives, but if he lives anywhere near, I bet that he will just race, win, and go home and start racing at computer lol. He is that type of person, he never stops and I think it's quite important to his success as well, dude does this for hobby.

How many people go to work because that is all they love to do, not because they are good at it or they are paid, but because they love doing it. This dude all he knew while growing up was racing, so he doesn't do anything else, even his "fun time" is racing on PC, so he is definitely great because of it. He will get this win unless some miracle happens and he will be regarded as one of the best to ever drive when he retires.
843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: August 23, 2023, 06:58:32 PM
Here in my country I don't see any cockfighting allowing cryptocurrency to their gambling. And aside from that there are some places here also were we called it Sabong it's illegal in some of the cities. However, I also noticed and wondering why this cockfighting is not seen in the crypto space though there are gamblers who played this to gamble their money in it. but there are outside the crypto there is a cockfighting in which can be downloadable at play store anyway.
Maybe crypto in your country is not that mainstream? And usually, crypto gambling sites only have table games and as well as games from the famous providers. AFAIK, Cockfighting is only popular on some Asian countries. That is why. But you said, there are non-crypto casinos who has it? In the meantime, that is the only option you have.

You can just sell your crypto to that currency to have something to bet and just re-convert the currency to crypto again once you win. You can still try giving a suggestion to your favorite casino to add Cockfighting on their game or to add a crypto payment if they haven't yet, as some casinos welcome's suggestions from their customers.
844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 23, 2023, 05:44:18 PM
City missed out on significant title this new season, which is the community shield, perhaps they cover that up with a win against Sevilla and lifting their first UEFA Super Cup. Injury hits really hard this time to the cityzens. There's definitely no way Manchester City will be able to cope in the coming games without Pep Guardiola. First it was their crucial players, now is the coach, things getting tougher with time. Pep Guardiola is currently in Barcelona to undergo surgery, and it would be a hugh miss for the team when they will face Sheffield united and Fulham in league games.
Manchester City is surely on their target as they started their campaign in this season but sadly right now few things are going to create problems for them which are massive test for them in coming days because absence of few players and now Pep Guardiola is also not available can create problems for them even now in future they have mostly games against weaker sides but still they need to be strong and committed which will help them for better results and retain their title hopes as well.

Now we have two games before International break so most chances things will be under control, and they will be manage this all even in September Manchester City have no tough game which create any problem for them, and they will be on positive side with this all most chances in October they could be manage better things for the future.
845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Peer pressure as a substantial gambling catalyst. on: August 23, 2023, 02:51:40 PM
The reason why many people are involved with gambling is the ability to make them money in a very short time, and seeing people winning good amount of money even add more fire to the desire, on the other way, I believe this is what makes gambling a very treacherous path anyone can venture on.

The chances of making mistakes are everywhere, the only thing left is to limit your risk by lowering the amount of money you want to use for gambling, there is nothing that works more than this.

The reason why I don't have friends today is because of the path they choose to walk on, too mamy people are so focused on quick money,
Did you actually leave your friends because they chose the wrong path? You should have made them understand that it is not the right thing to do, and even after that they didn't stop, you shouldn't still leave them forever because your friends are the only people who will stand by your side when the whole world might leave you alone and don't even care about you, so losing friends, especially good ones, is not a very good thing regardless of what they choose to do.

However, you are right that a lot of people these days are always looking for ways to make a lot of money in a very short period of time, and gambling is considered a way to do that which is not true but people don't get it, they think they can win a lot of money from it when they literally are losing all the time.
846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sudden Wealth Syndrome (SWS) In Gambling on: August 23, 2023, 01:05:25 PM
So from the sounds of it you have a plan set out if this ever happened to you.
Most don't even think of it since they think they are not lucky enough, but one never knows when lady luck comes. They are not prepared and are punished for it.

Can see this occurring to those who are least expecting it. They of course are caught off guard, do not know what to do in this situation and eventually panic.
Having good money management skills when and if this happens is your best defense against such a syndrome.
What's more ironic is that this usually happens to those who don't know what money management is, as you said, they might have never expected something like this to happen to them so they don't know how they should react and what they should do for suddenly going from poor to rich and having tons of money when they didn't have money to eat food a couple of days ago, and this usually becomes the reason for this SWS thing among people.

Destiny plays a lot of dirty games, you know. You will often see people getting things that they don't deserve because they don't even know the proper way of using those things while someone who knows all the ways and has all the skills will never get the opportunity and the privilege to use that thing.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding cryptocurrencies and investment. on: August 22, 2023, 04:23:58 AM
Two question! First one is Simple. To understand how a coin works, you need to Google search and know youself from article related to that coin or go to that coin's telegram account and ask there what you want to know. Admin and others member will guide you and give you info. Coin price is low during token sale. If they late, fail to give you satisfactory answer or you find something phishy then avoid the project. But it hard to know which project will success.
It's not really that hard to know if a project has got potential or is worthy for an investment. However, going into their official channels and asking their team regarding the project wouldn't give you a clear idea, nor you should trust any article published regarding a project because this is usually a part of their marketing where they ask some writer to write and publish articles regarding their project so that people read that and think that the project is good.

What you need to do is follow the project through all their channels, follow their progress to see what they are doing and whether they are following their roadmap and stuff, you need to check if they have a good team, you need to read their whitepaper and then see if they are doing what they've described there, you should also check their activity and user engagements on their social channels. There are lot of other things but these should be enough to give you a general idea about a project.

There is no two ways about this. Arsenal is going to have a very good season just like they did last season. In fact the squad that played the matches for Arsenal last season is still the squad that is present in Arsenal this season. The only difference we have is the positive difference which is addition of more quality players to the squad. The reason why Arsenal did not win the English Premier League title last season was because of poor squad depth, this time around that they have some kind of good reserve, we are expecting them to do even better than last season.
After the impressive last season now things looking on same way for the Arsenal because they are doing good job even their first match performance was not as par expectations but still they can do much better in this derby match, and we can expect another win form them in this match now their squad's chemistry is also much better than last season, and they have few good players which can do much better for them with now still chances they will keep things at the top for the title race.

Arteta is one of the best person in business after Pepe, so I have feeling he will be organized his team on aggressive approach, and they will not let him down again in this season but still today match is surely important for them because this will give better shape.
849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 20, 2023, 08:26:34 PM
In fact, Real Madrid didn't do anything about Kylian Mbappe in this summer, and they were just waiting to see Mbappe get out of his team and they hire him for free without spending money on this player because they knew PSG will put a high amount of money for releasing this player.
I think if Real Madrid really wanted to hire Mbappe for this season, they had to start negotiations with PSG and make this player to join the team like that.
What Mbappe is going through with PSG deemed not professional by many teams and maybe Real is not willing to spend that much money on a player that may end up doing all kinds of moves to get the highest amount of money he could from their team as well. What if he just asks for a transfer fee amount of money as a signing bonus when he is free? That doesn't make sense, if your team pays 100-150 million to him just for signing, and then 50 to 70 million yearly as well, would you feel fine about it?

I mean sure if you pay him 50-70 million alone then I could understand, he is a great striker, and that money could be considered fair, but the 100-150 million fee just to get him? You wouldn't want to also pay to PSG as well. Next summer, when he is free, we will see how much he will want.
850  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will you sell...next bull run? on: August 19, 2023, 06:52:20 PM
Looking at how its moving right now, it doesn't matter when you sell but more about when you buy. People who end up buying at this price will surely do a lot better and I am guessing that we could see them do a lot better on the long run as well. The price is at the bottom right now and I do not think that it will go down anymore, I am not talking about guaranteed terms like "it will not go down anymore" because I do not want to hurt anyones portfolio, but I believe that it will not go down personally. This means that if you buy right now, and hold long enough, you will make profit. When you sell will only change the profit amount, but you will profit little or a lot, the profit will be there.
You can never tell if it's the bottom or there is still more to come. The price of Bitcoin dropped significantly all of a sudden, and is still declining, so those who thought that was it and it won't go any further and bought with everything they had will now start regretting their decision since the market is going to decline further, so the best thing to follow in such market conditions is doing DCA so that you can save up some money and buy with some right now.

When you are doing DCA, you won't need to worry if the market has reached the bottom or not because you will keep buying after every dip until it reaches the bottom and starts going up from there, and when it starts recovering, you will see your portfolio starting to grow right from the bottom.
851  Economy / Speculation / Re: The time has finally come...??? on: August 19, 2023, 06:08:01 PM
Today the market dump is again more than 8%, on some exchanges the price of bitcoin is selling at $ 25800, I checked on coinmarketcap it is still $ 26080, and the coinbase that I use is priced at $ 25975, will this storm continue because there are currently too many FUDs making many people panic and sell bitcoin, hopefully the whales are buying again so it helps the price not fall below $20k.
Why would whales buy back when they can get more benefits if the price falls more? Whales want investors to panic and sell so that they can buy as low as possible, so they would let retail investors buy and sell with each other and make the market drop and then they will buy all the coins when it reaches the bottom, that is how they play, or they can even start buying at this price until it drops further because they tend to not let such opportunities go wasted.

The price did drop quite quickly but the drop isn't so big right now, retail investors will definitely make the dip go lower from here if they start panic selling on a large scale. I expected a price drop but I don't want it to go too deep like around $20k or something.
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs. the Dollar (Traditional Money vs. Digital Innovation) on: August 18, 2023, 07:28:52 PM
In regards to why the price tend to be inversely proportional to the other, it's simply the principle of demand & supply. Once one has higher demand than the other, its price may be allowed to increase.

Many could have wondered as well that why has it been in this way whereby we see the value of dollar depreciating over time whereas bitcoin is increasing, this alone should significantly tells us that there are factors that are running underground which could not allow the USD value to increase over time than to decrease, inflation in many ways have affected the relevance of fiat and reduced it value with because there are policies not working right with fiat monetary system which doesn't exist in a decentralized network with bitcoin.
Those who wonder are lacking of knowledge on how financial system works. Money won't move just like that without a reason. Dollar depreciates due to inflation while Bitcoin can be a good counter to it due to its limited supply. We only need to be honest and say that Bitcoin doesn't increase at all times. Inflations are normal and it doesn't happen because there are anomalies happening around.

Despite of an inflation, most people still use fiats because this is where they used to, and there are still times where we can experience a relief in which inflation rates can decline. People can also do something to help them survive a high inflation period.
853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling discussion effect on: August 18, 2023, 06:38:35 PM
to help you out mate, the best strategy is to have self control .
to have a regular budget to risk losing , so with that you'll have more enough time for your normal life and never rely to become rich using gambling.
Having self-control is the main problem that every gambler must understand, especially for those who play gamble too often compared to other gamblers. They must have good self-control so they are not tempted by gambling or to play one more round because that could cause them to experience more losses. And having a fixed budget is what the gambler has to do if he has a schedule to gamble so he doesn't take the money for the rest of his life. But he shouldn't gamble too often because it can make him addicted to gambling and in the end, he can become a gambling addict.
One can absolutely not stop themselves from getting addicted to gambling if the primary focus of gambling is to earn money through it. Someone with such a mindset will start gambling more once they get something good from gambling, that makes them feel that whatever they used to think about gambling is true and they can actually change their life from gambling, which results in them gambling more often and eventually get addicted to gambling.

If a person gambles just for fun, they don't play to get money though they get excited if they hit a big win, such people barely get addicted to gambling because they know they used it only to entertain themselves and they can always stop doing it if they find another activity that entertains them more.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling by financial dependents. on: August 18, 2023, 06:02:23 PM
A family member reported to me that her eighteen years old son has started gambling. She is not worried that he is gaming but her problem is that he is a student that solely depends on her for everything he needs. Her fear is also that her son might start stealing from her if he has no access to the money he needs to gamble. My relative has even started suspecting that some money she feels was misplaced might have been stolen by her son.

I spoke to my nephew and he told me that he has never stolen from his mother to gamble. And he gambles with only his savings from his weekly stipend he receives from the family. And he won't gamble if he has no savings to do that. From my observation, he is a responsible gambler that is just enjoying the game and making a little money occasionally. The gambling age in my country is 18+, but his mother is insisting that he must stop. What will be your advice for this young boy?
You can never know if the guy is actually being honest with you or not. What if he actually steals money from his mother but he refused to accept that in front of you? And what if he is already addicted to gambling but tells you that he only gambles when he has savings and doesn't do it when he doesn't? I'm not saying that he is lying specifically, but I'm just saying that there is always a possibility that a gambler doesn't openly accept how deep they have gotten into it.

However, even if he is not lying or hiding anything, or even if he is a responsible gambler if his mother doesn't want him to do that, he should stop immediately, because not obeying your mother means you will never get success in life, she is the person you should always respect and obey.
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 40 Twitch accounts for gambling advertising on: August 18, 2023, 05:40:31 PM
I would love to see some internet detective to do a list of how many of these vievers are paid viewers or bots. I've been a part of a team that did that, i mean commented on streams, followed and engaged for money, just to get algorithms picked up these streamers on top of list.

And after that, algorithms take care that traffic brings more traffic, because algorithms thin it's worth watching. Crowds will bring more crowds, That brings referral money, and money brings more money, as some casinos start to promote them to view their casino in the stream. It's a weird world out there and weird opportunities to make money.
It may seem odd but this is a process that even happens in the real world all the time, the bigger something is the more of it brings regardless of what that may be, so in the case of viewers if there is a slight increase of viewers for a particular video then algorithms will pick this up and show that video to people with similar preferences, which will watch the video, increase its popularity and then the video will be shown to even more people.
That is basically the reason why a lot of YouTubers tend to either buy views and interactions or try getting a lot of fake views and interactions from free websites providing such services, it sometimes works for them but most of the time the hype dies very soon and their channel gets a hard decline which they barely be able to recover from. That is the reason why it is important for someone to first learn doing SEO and optimizing their videos well.

A lot of successful YouTubers never used a wrong way of accumulating viewership and they are pretty successful today because they've worked really hard. There is basically no shortcut to success and if you want success, you will have to spend a lot of time and show a lot of dedication to achieve it.
856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong way to accumulate. on: August 17, 2023, 06:08:51 PM
Every investor has a certain plan according to which they usually invest. Many people plan for long term investment and many people plan for short term investment and there are some investors who plan for long term investment but when the market increases more than their expectations they sell their investment ihow investors invest it totally depends on an investor. People who are more risk-averse in investing and have more money invested usually decide to invest for a longer period of time. Most of the investors invest with risk in the initial stage, but later due to market changes, they cannot hold their investment and sell their investment with some loss of money. Investors who can take the risk and hold Bitcoin through good and bad times ultimately succeed in investing.
The cryptocurrency market is basically not for people who don't have enough patience to hold onto their assets when there is a bad time because when you panic and sell your assets as soon as the market starts dipping, you can never get anything out of your investments because you will be losing more money than you will possibly get with that mindset. A person needs to have diamond hands to become a successful investor in the cryptocurrency market.

And, these kinds of people who can't control their urges to sell when the market dips a little bid basically become the reason for widening the dips and making them go deeper because they start panic selling which causes further declines in the market, and then a dip that could be a small one becomes bigger.
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a gambler do you have a potential winning amount limit? on: August 17, 2023, 05:32:06 PM
As for myself i don't have because I will be glad to win as much as possible if the opportunity is presented, but i think the gambling platforms will have that in place but they would have disclose their conditions in their policies or ToS, it is very common that we all have the desire to make win on any amount without limit except if set by the casino, i wouldn't hesitate embracing wining big as such found with winning a jackpot in my gambling experience than setting a limit because everyone needs money if the chance is given to make some or get rich through gambling.
And how exactly do you determine if you've got the chance or the opportunity to win big when you are gambling? Maybe setting a winning limit might not be necessary but it is important to know when you need to stop and exit, especially when you are winning. Never think that if you have won 20% profit on top of your bankroll, you can win 40% if you keep gambling because that will only make you lose what you have already managed to win which isn't a good thing.

A good gambler will always know when they should stop a specific gambling session and exit with what they have in their account, sometimes you will need to back off even if you are losing so that you can at least save a part of your total bankroll so that you can try your luck again and maybe it works.
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do wager affect outcomes in any provably fair games on: August 17, 2023, 02:11:11 PM
I noticed that when I start to play games like keno, limbo, dice, etc. First some bets don't hit and after wagering some percentage of my balance it starts to hit,
How it works? like when we wager we have more probability to hit win, anyone noticed this? Do you know how it works and what is the calculation behind it?, do server sends outcomes by checking our wager?
Also, i would like to tell you that there is a difference between a reality and a gut feeling. What you are feeling about the wagering and outcome of the games is most probably your gut feeling and this has nothing to do with reality.

For a moment think that this statement is true if you wager more you will start to lose but initially, you will win. So every gambler would play one or two games daily and get grantee wins. This does not happen in reality as people lose even the first few games when they start to gamble for the day.
Losing is inevitable, one can obviously not stop themselves from losing no matter what they do, but what OP has observed that a person starts getting winning spins once they wager some money and don't win in the initial spins, but that isn't true because the results from the beginning are generated through a random number generator so there can't be a difference between the first few spins and the spins after that but it is all just coincidental.

A lot of people observe a lot of different things when gambling and they think that they are patterns or something and their gambling is affected by these but in reality, there is no pattern or anything that a casino follows since we all know the generated results are totally random and not manually generated.
859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Peer pressure as a substantial gambling catalyst. on: August 17, 2023, 09:49:45 AM
I don't think gambling is a peer pressure type of thing personally.  Gambling is very singular in that as an individual you either win or you don't and your friends being in or out have no effect.  I mean I guess to a certain point everything is but overall I don't see this as a huge issue.
You made a good point and I would like to support this one. Sometimes pressure in gambling is something that we just build within ourselves and that is something that we should try to work on. Seeing our peers succeed or generate money in gambling does not really mean that we should do the same. Another thing is what we call conformity, we have this thinking that if our friend is doing this or that, we felt the need to follow them in attempt to fit in that particular group. Lastly, the catalyst that I really consider in gambling is the fear of missing out and sometimes we are consumed by it that's why we engaged into something that we don't really know that much about.
Even though the pressure is from within ourselves, it is found in almost every single human being. Whenever we see our friends doing something and succeeding in that, we tend to think that we should give it a try as well and we discuss this with our friends and ask them to help us in that venture as well. Now, if that thing is gambling, maybe we should set some limits for ourselves by only trying our luck and seeing if it works the same way for us as it is doing for our friends.

This way, we wouldn't get addicted to gambling and we can easily stop doing it if we see that it is not working out for us, and if we are sensible enough, we won't force it on ourselves but think that it is not important the exact same thing works for different people the same way, that's not how things work in life.
860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: August 17, 2023, 05:42:50 AM
Adrenaline can be gotten from different sources and not only through gambling, so this isn't an excuse for gambling excessively. When you over gamble you'll become addicted and addictions is very hard to let go off when it becomes a part of your daily routine.

As a gamblers, you should be saving or investing the rewards you get because you're meant to know that winning for a gambler isn't a fixed outcome. Some days or weeks you mightn't make any profits and when you don't have savings from your previous it'll worry you.

Profits made from gambling should be invested into a business that will give you profits when you're having badluck at gambling and with time you  reduced the resources you spend gambling and make gambling to be a fun and entertaining activity instead to make money.
Gamblers can gamble casually without any addiction or anything and might be able to invest the money that they win into some business or something if it is large enough, but someone who gambles, because they are addicted to it and can't spend one day without it, would obviously not be able to do anything like that with the money but they will be happy that they've got more money that they can use for gambling because that's how their mindset has become.

A normal person would start dreaming of getting a lot of money so that they can start a business, live a luxurious life, and have everything they need or desire in the world, on the other side, an addicted gambler would think that they would gamble with higher bets if they get a lot of money.
