Are you going to pay taxes on your Bitcoin profits?

Suppose you make a million dollars. Suppose you have already made a million dollars. Are you going to hand half of that cash over to the government? Of course, this is assuming you convert your coins into federally recognized cash. If your only intention is to amass a huge supply of Bitcoins, the question does not apply to you.

You're supposed to pay income taxes. It seems rather easy to get away with not doing it, though... at least in this case.

If the government requires it to, then I guess I have nothing to do but to submit to their demands. It would be illegal to not pay taxes if the government declares it necessary. I don't want to stop doing what I am doing that's why I will just abide to their rules. The way I see it we don't really have a choice after all.

i agree with you, rather than having lots of money but you can not enjoy it because you are behind bars then better pay our taxes right?
842  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is every country really corrupt? on: December 24, 2017, 07:47:45 AM
I don't know, but everyone from my country thinks that ours is the most corrupt in world. Is it the same in yours too? If so...why, or how come?
Yes i understand that majority of the countries at this time are corrupt like my own country but still there are countries that trully loves their citizens and not think of gaining money out if them.

The problem is the human, I think most people would take advantage of others while in a position of power.

maybe we need to have transparency in the way the government hold our taxes and everything, so the community will know if their taxes are being used for the development of the country.
843  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is every country really corrupt? on: December 24, 2017, 07:45:54 AM
Yes. Because all countries are governed by people.
People are by definition selfish, self-centered and immoral.

Degree of corruption differs though.

not all people are corrupt. maybe some political leaders are like that but still there are few politicians like in the philippines that are fighting for a clean governance.

base on real facts, the end of the world will be a total disaster, with lots of earthquakes, volcanic eruption, storms and floods. it is because of human being, the population, the pollution and other human activities that destroys the earth.
845  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you want to live? on: December 24, 2017, 06:52:05 AM
some of us are so stressed and depress because of problems that they are encountering through life, most of them just want to end their life, so we should not judge people quickly, we should learn how to be sensitive to the need of others. I think all of us want to live in peace.

849  Other / Politics & Society / Re: how to break teenage video game addiction on: December 24, 2017, 02:16:52 AM
one of the best way to break that addiction is to introduce some sports or any activities not related to video games, or some of activities that they like playing in video games.

I think this is the best way. But not all children get addicted to sport, it depends on their surrounding. If all their friends play video games why would they choose sport instead? Maybe we can show on our example how sport can influence on individuals, and in particular on young people.

i agree with you, we just need them to be into sports by accompanying them to play different sports. maybe some of them would not want to play baskeball but maybe they like some other sports, right ?

858  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Business with and without education ? on: December 20, 2017, 06:37:36 AM
It is better to have background and education on how to run a business rather than running it without knowledge about it. It will only sink your business to bankcrupcy without education and having only a small chance for success without it.
859  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you going to pay taxes? on: December 20, 2017, 06:35:04 AM
I dont mind paying taxes when i can see improvements in my country. For the past years and administration here in the philippines i dont see outcomes from the taxes i pay that it makes me want to skip taxes. But now that the president and the country's leaders are doing their job well in building and making use of the taxe well makes me trust my government again and start paying taxes sincerly.
860  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fastfood can potentially Kill Us! on: December 20, 2017, 06:30:09 AM
For me, as one of those fast food addict that you talk about the things that makes me eat this even though i know the health issues it can give is because of its taste that i cannot find to healthy foods. One of the things that i do to refrain from eating to this fast food resto are cooking at home, and buying lots of fruit.. and setting cheat days once every two weeks to sustain my cravings to it.
