All we need to do is relax, present the facts from time to time and don't respond to trolls. We are working hard to build added value for users and to find creative solutions for long standing crypto issues, they can read the papers, check the github and get a feel for the community, the price is just a consequence of that.
The hard truth is that all of these Cryptonote and other "anon-altcoins" are not needed (and will never be needed) for 99% of users in a situation where DASH works as intended. That is why their number one goal - to kill DASH, but did not develop their own coins. While Dash is still alive - all their "cryptographical fairy tales" have no practical meaning. So resultative trolling and lies are the only hope for success for Monero and other "dreamers". Have found a suitable home to quietly retire to and be looked after in old age as a historical footnote. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/news/11184541/Science-Museum-200-years-of-progress-in-a-single-room.html

Great stuff in the new paper.
Yer, not only are the number of nodes decreasing overall but there is almost a 10% variance over a typical 24 hour period that will lead to a daily cycle of instabilities, and sinusoidal mapped delays. A Masternode never sleeps, its 24/7 all the way resulting in uniform stability and speed consistantly http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-nodes-need/'' What's interesting is that during a recent 24-hour period, the number of reachable nodes went down from 8,200 to 7,600 and back to 8,200 again. This suggests that a portion of users running nodes are turning off their machines at night, meaning that this contingent of nodes are being run on desktops or laptops.'' ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fmedia.coindesk.com%2F2014%2F05%2Freachablenodesoneday.jpg&t=663&c=45x-wFjZk_8plg)

Is it possible to give the coin more depth by sinking in the world map, while the D is raised? Or making them both pop out a bit more (the background set in a bit more?) It feels a little too flat? But I love it! And 3d coins, can we have 3-d coins please, that would be really cool ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) (I will tip for that one!) f0ac3d3bf4..........

I disagree Sub, it's either a payed troll, or brain damage. Not plain and brutal ignorance. This is a concerted effort, or a serious cryptopathic condition.
Yer, probably was the wrong example to give, you are right, no one persists for this long with such hatred without having a hidden agenda.

Let's get something straight here - Evan DOES NOT owe any of your fucking TROLLs a single thing So piss off Sometimes its just gotta be said the blunt way, its like that annoying person that hangs onto a group of friends for too long and outstays their welcome and just does NOT get the subtle messages to disappear ASAP (and never come back preferably). they cling on even though they are become more and more unliked as time goes on.

This sounds like the Tao sync update ratio and probable world record of 0.54 seconds / hour, which I believe we already hold is going to be smashed by ourselves, again ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) '' Udjin has merged all upstream changes from Bitcoin 10 into the project. This means we’ll support much faster syncing via headers-first blocks and various other changes to the core software.''

That's what I call centralization.

Tiny quibbles:When making a send transaction, the current balance is not displayed at the same time. Number of confirmations of last transaction is not numerically shown (the green chompy pacman symbol is a nifty idea though) Changing from 2 to more accurate 4,6 and 8 digits in denominations settings results in a truncated 4th digit when phone is upright. Can NOT change back to default setting of 2 decimal places in denomination settings (stuck with truncated,or microdash or milli dash)(milli and micro dash settings appear ok) Reasons to be cheerful:Normal send/receive : Success InstantX send/receive : Success upgrade from previous version with wallet intact and menu update : Success transaction defaults to darkcoin exployer with correct address : success blockchain reset with details and balance kept intact : success Not checked:Pin and wallet backup with complete restore : untested

"Garzik estimates that it would cost just $2m to get one into orbit. Once in space, it would serve as an alternative way to distribute block chain data. “Information wants to be free,” Garzik said in his post about the project." http://www.coindesk.com/core-developer-bitcoin-node-space/When DASH gets to $2,000 / DASH then we are good to go. Orbital masternodes with the Dash logo painted on the sides and at only 2 million, not much really when crowd funded. I would even donate fiat debt gov paper towards that one. Its a hell of a bit of advertising eh-could get on the big news channels ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) whoops! https://youtu.be/GeIHJ-i7yVk

(...) Keep Dash decentralized. Please.
I think that the coming years will belong to the ARM platform. AMD is working on a server-ARM processors. As soon as the rental period ends VPS, I am going to run Masternode on - Raspberry Pi 2 or
- Banana Pi or
- Orange Pi or
- Odroid C1
That's how I see decentralization. I hope that there will soon be downloadable official builds on the ARM platform. I heard some nano satellites only have the processing power of a phone OS, so what we need to do is micro fund a tiny satellite, put a masternode on it and launch into space, what could be easier, would love to see a nano satellite on the Big Map ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fstatic.adrianacisneros.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2014%2F06%2FACG-Blog-Image-Bringing-Space-Down-to-Earth.jpg&t=663&c=QLD6Rt8pysfL9Q) I'll be up for that crowdfunder. I'll donate the hand, to get things moving quicker ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

We have a thing called a reference node, which is a node that keeps track of which masternodes have been paid, and makes sure everyone gets paid before going through the list again. This is centralized. Not because it's impossible to decentralize it but because it was a shortcut
You need some fresh air, why not try to make a friend or two? I wouldn't have seen this if you hadn't quoted, LOL. But anyway, he cut out the rest of my comment on the reference node, which explains why this TEMPORARY node was created and that it is being replaced soon with a decentralized version. Sometimes you have a chicken or egg scenario and you have to build temporary scaffolding to build another section of the project. Then go back to that scaffolding and make that work properly. It's going to be fixed soon. partial quotes are a troll's best friend I guess. There is so much going on with this coin, you can't imagine a small percentage of the possibilities, I tell ya! ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.eyecandypictures.com.au%2Fwp-content%2Fthemes%2Fphototastic_theme%2Fimage.php%3Fwidth%3D940%26quality%3D75%26image%3Dhttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.eyecandypictures.com.au%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2010%2F01%2FAC1.jpg&t=663&c=JQCAMuCXPaw3Tg)

I was away from my computer for about 2 weeks, and started syncing 3 wallets at the same time when I got back: DASH, Doge, and HYPER. DASH was done miles ahead of the other coins. I was shocked. I knew it was fast, but I was still wow'd at just how fast in comparison it was to other wallets.
Totally! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) It shows the quality, cleaness and efficiency of the coding, when I update other wallets they are all getting slower (quark was tediously slow for example). Have not got round to bench marking ye olde Doge and hyper yet, but the results are somewhat predictable. From a couple of months ago, some back of the envelope calculations if you missed them.. Dash blockchain size = 0.5715 GigaBytes Days since genesis block=370 days Average Rate of growth for blockchain per day=1.5 MegaBytes/day quarkcoin block size = 2.4 GigaBytes days since genesis block = 550 days average rate of growth for blockchain per day = 4.3 MegaBytes/day litecoin blockchain size = 3.99 GigaBytes days since genesis block = 1201 days average rate of growth for blockchain per day = 3.3 MegaBytes/day dogecoin blockchain size = 8.49 GigaBytes days since genesis block = 412 days average rate of growth for blockchain per day = 20 MegaBytes/day bitcoin blockchain size = 34.3 GigaBytes days since genesis block = 2205 days average rate of growth for blockchain = 15 MegaBytes/day Monero blockchain size =3.5 gigabytes days since genesis block =303 days average rate of growth for blockchain =11.6 megabytes/day

anyone care to dumb down what makes this coin worth 15m?
You gotta get a lot of buzzy pumpy vague crapy (but trendy) promise on this one. Umbrell' yourself, stay strong, good luck. The sig of this person ^ can explain the bias in that comment. Yes, and he will ignore mine, empirically based data is simply not important to some people when they have such strong beliefs http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confirmation_bias

anyone care to dumb down what makes this coin worth 15m? is it the hashing algorithm? right now the price seems stuck in the same limbo as dogecoin the initial pump/dump is over and now its just stable at this high market cap which im liking.
Unique InstantX transaction locking of 4 seconds (contracts, multi sig and time future locking capable) Darksend coin anonymity upto 18 mixes in 1 gives well over 99.9999 % security. Masternode 2 tier decentralized network provides a 'backhanded' type of 100% ASIC proof mining via proof of stake and proof of service. Working and tested android wallet with instantX (soon iphone) Masternodes provides a sybil/hostile seed resistant backbone to the main X11 proof of work network. Fastest Tao update sync ratio of any known coin in existence. Small wallet size of around 0.7 gigabytes storage required. Fork of latest bitcoin version providing almost all of the its new features as well. Plus more Dashing surprises ...
