841  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Ano nang nabili niyo gamit ang Bitcoin? on: March 23, 2017, 04:18:26 PM
Ano nang nabili niyong gadgets o kaya napatayong negosyo o kaya nabiling lupa o bahay?
Ako kasi as of now, Wala Pa pero sana in future meron Smiley

Marami na rin akong nabili gamit ang bitcoin. Pero bahay or lupa? Kaya yan. Smiley
842  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money on: March 23, 2017, 01:42:52 PM
Losing is part of successfully trading. If you treat losing as part of trading then you are an experienced trader.
all traders not always earn profits even professional trader can experiencing lose but you have to learn from losing it can give you a little hint to be better than the last
Losing gives a learning to avoid it in the future. With bitcoin one need to be very careful on making trades because price variation happens in respect to time interval. Also trading with bitcoin the loss can be minimized if he can have patience, because the price surely grows even if it has dropped.

I agree. Loosing is a part of a game. When you win ofcourse you lose too. Many people are afraid of loosing and end up just stocking their money. They do not have any income because of their strategy. They do not want to lose and ofcourse they distance themselves from winning income. People who are involve or part of bitcoin community must overcome the fear of loosing because that was bitcoin matters. Sometimes you lose and sometimes you win. You need to be intelligent and more strategic.
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Even now in 2017, why is bitcoin *still* not accepted as a major currency? on: March 23, 2017, 01:13:09 PM
Bitcoin is still not accepted as a major currency due to a wide range of reasons. First and foremost is the lack of government recognition. This scares off the businesses, who want to accept payment in BTC. They don't know whether it is legal or not to do so. Second reason is the volatile exchange rates, which can be avoided only if a payment processor is used. And another reason is the elevated risk of funds getting stolen from the wallets.

I agree. Bitcoin for me nowadays are so very bad in terms of value because the value itself are changing again minute to minute. It doesn't stays. And especially many government officials doesn't accept it because of some reasons. Because bitcoin is not especially tested and we don't know what happen if it's value got lower than now. All I can say is our currency today is very good and I think bitcoin will not replace it. And one factor is the value of our currency now is still and do not change minute by minute.
844  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: March 23, 2017, 03:06:45 AM
I am thinking .. to put all my money in bitcoin what do you think? is it a good way to grow my money? or it is risky or.. ?
Back in 2010 year ... In 2010 you can put all your money in Bitcoin ... In 2017 - it's big foolishness
I think is not a good ideas and if you do that your a big foolish. We all know that the value of bitcoin nowadays are getting higher and at the same time getting lower and lower. The value isn't permanent. What if you put all of your fund in bitcoin then the value became very low and them you need to cash out, you will suffer a big lose and especially you will lose a big amount. So don't you ever think to put all of your funds. Better to be intelligent than to take the risk of getting lose.
845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: March 22, 2017, 12:08:48 PM
I think there are two factors here. The banking/debt crisis, and the emergence of crypto-currencies. It won't be Bitcoin that will destroy the banks, it will be the politicians who are taking bribes to allow rubbish derivatives to be created, and then allowing bail-ins for the banks to cover their fraudulent lending, who will cause the demise and re-structuring of banking. Bitcoin will just be one of the emerging solutions/replacements.

Not sure what I'm talking about? Look at the recent permission to allow fracking in the UK, and the bail-in of Cyprus and the Greek banking theft to help DoucheBank.
Indeed. Bitcoin is not responsible if banks may disappear. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that people use in able to earn extra income and specially to buy their need and wants but it is nothing to do with banks. We all know that bankd today are very famous because of those people that want to stock money and those people who have lots of money in order to be safe. If you can see bitcoin and banks is no relationship at all. They just have the same purpose vut different ways of called and sometimes uses. Bitcoin will not make banks disappear because banks are the most useful establishments nowadays. And people will continue to use it.
846  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dropping like a stone on: March 22, 2017, 12:02:18 AM
Any idea hy bitcoin is dropping so fast? Last night i was expecting it to go back up a little so i could take some money out of it and put it in ETH, but now i'd sell with a significant loss. What made it drop?
Bitcoin dropped because of the FUD that was spread about a possible hard fork coming, things seems to have calmed down a little and the price has recovered some of the lost ground on the past few days, so that was a good opportunity to earn money, hope you got advantage of it.

It's all about the rogercoin and right now the price of bitcoin seems to be pumping up again. It's time to buy back now and hold now. Good thing that I didn't did panic selling, too bad for those people that sold a lot of their coins under $1k  Grin too bad for them, they are now regretting it for sure. Keep HODLING now people.
Yes. As I see the price of bitcoin now is getting higher again and I think it is because many people had use it. And for those people who sell it when it is lower than 1k it's time for you guys to comeback and regain all of your lose. Because we all know that there is time that the value of bitcoin will go down and soon it will go up again. Just like that. It's just a matter of right timing to sell and in able to earn a higher profit. You must learn to wait for you to sell and have a high amount. Smiley
847  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: March 21, 2017, 01:21:01 PM
With all these things that happens to bitcoin this month i would say that waiting is much recommended for now. Cause maybe 1 year o two years will passed bitcoin will hit the price that no one could ever imagined.
Probably, the best way is to wait and not just to sell your bitcoins because based on my experience there will be a time that the value of bitcoin will reach it's unimagined value and many people will just sell there bitcoin in order to have a high earning. And just like the other says "Patient is a Virtue". As you wait and wait you will recognize that your waiting for too long will be worth it because of high selling value. So I preffered for all of you to just wait and let the value of bitcoin increase. Smiley
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: March 21, 2017, 01:01:22 PM
Gambling is wrong if we use a borrowed money just for it and you don't work hard to earn money for your leisure hobbies. If we gamble we must make sure that we are having good income source so that we will not end up to financial problems in the future. So in order to make wrong impressions from gambling, we must be responsible enough to earn money before betting.
I agree to what you've said. When playing gambling you must use your own money because if you use the money that you borrowed and when it is all lose, you will not able to pay it and that time you have a credit in someone you borrowed. You must use your own money and learn to budget it and know your limits. Because gambling isn't just for betting all your money and then getting lose. It' s a matter of playing while earning and having fun without using all of your money. Smiley
849  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: March 21, 2017, 12:29:39 PM
Good news dude !
Bitcoin price is recovering little by little .
From 950 $ some hours ago to 1066$ now !
Buy now till it's under 1100$.
 https://blockchain.info/markets

Yes, it's a great news indeed. I think the main reason for the recovering is that Bitcoin has attracted many new users recently. Part of them were buying their first BTC for over $1,200 and now when the price is lower they think "Why not to buy more?"? and they are right btw, it's possible that we'll never see such low price for BTC in the future.
That's good! Smiley And I agree that the reason why bitcoin price is recovering because many people are recently joining to earn some bitcoins. If we introduced bitcoin to our friends and even family there comes a time that bitcoin price will be doubled as it now today. No one will ever predict the price of bitcoin but we, the people who uses it are the one who can recover the price and make it better. And sooner or later many people will likely to buy bitcoins because of its high value. Smiley
850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: March 21, 2017, 07:30:12 AM
Google is the answer for all the questions as I was finding some ways of earning money online as I was unemployed at that time so wanted to find some source of income which can take care of my expenses and at that time I saw articles related to bitcoins.
This same happen to me some time ago I was very upset and looking for some online work then have some but this was not enough but google solve this problem and its introduce me bitcoin which help me too much now I am much happy because I can earn some good amount weekly which can cover my daily expenses

Yeah and even I found bitcoin on google but before that my friend gave me a small hint and asked me have you ever heard about bitcoins? And my reply was no so he is insisted me to go to google and get some information related to bitcoins and he also asked me to watch video on youtube whose title was "The rise and rise of bitcoins" and that video cleared my all doubts about bitcoins.

When our class was started and I have many new classmates. I met one of the reason why I met knew bitcoin. I always heard about bitcoin in my classmate and I got curious because of some incomes that I've heard. When I asked them I knew that bitcoin is their main income and I told them to taught me and that was the first time that I heard about bitcoin and now I am one of them that earning and working hard in able to earn bitcoins. 851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Whether anyone believe???? on: March 16, 2017, 07:16:44 AM
Whether you believe if you Continuously Buying The same number, one day you can win the lottery. there i read some stories much people can being rich by using this way.

Winning a lottery is totally depends on your luck, and I don't believe that many people have become wealthy, but some people might have won big money in a lottery. Instead of changing every time new number you can buy the same number every time, and one day you may win but not sure how long you may need to wait to get that number. Again you need to be lucky to win in this method as well.

Buying the same number everytime is a type of strategy that being used by some people. It can work and it can't work as well. Like any other type of strategies in gambling, there is no sure win strategy. It all depends on luck!

There are 70% that I believe in that situation. Because based on my experiece. My family used to buy the same numbers again and again but there are time that they would replace only 1 digit  and one day they won 3 to 4 numbers only. But the other 30% is that anither experienced is that I used to saw numbers in my dream and sometimes the numbers are the exact winning numbers in lotto. That's all.
852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: March 16, 2017, 07:10:48 AM
Gambling is risky game of money from which most people lose and just a few wins. Gambling too is addictive and fun especially when you're winning and that's why most people can't get away from gambling once they get in it.
In gambling you only win from the start then you lose whenever you win a certain amount.

In gambling more people will lose from the start actually. Thats if it truly is gambling against a house edge etc.  Key is to have fun always Smiley

For me, I think gambling cannot be considered as a sickness because gambling isn't a disease. It's up on a person if she/he will stop or take a rest when playing gambling. He/she must focus on his/her time when playing gambling. He must know when to stop so that he will not be addicted on playing gambling and should not be considered as a sickness.
853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the biggest mistakes you've done with Bitcoin? on: March 16, 2017, 07:02:24 AM
As the topic says, What are the biggest mistakes you've done with Bitcoin?

I'm trying to gather just a list on things that have gone wrong. This can be terrible backup stories, client hacks, reversing at MtGox and such.
I don't want to gather a list of hacks of commercial sites in particular because there are plenty of information on that already.

I will post everything I find on this very simple website:
http://sites.google.com/site/whoissatoshi/bitcoin-mistakes

Don't be shy!

My greatest mistakes:

1) Did not buy any when it still was cheap arount 5$

2) Did not buy any when it was rallying over 10$

3) Did not buy any when it was rallying over old ATH 32$

and so on...

So I will prepare for the next dip - I will fund my Mt Gox account and buy lots of coins if and when we get 20-30$

There are many mistakes I experienced in using bitcoins but there is one is unforgetable for me. When I was starting in bitcoin I used to gamble to gain earnings. When I have a capital of 0.00005, I used it and then grow for about 0.001 and then when I got sleep I didn't recognized that I was lose real quick. And then when I play gambling I sure that I won't lose again. Smiley
854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: March 16, 2017, 06:56:36 AM
As we enter 2017, Bitcoin begins with a fresh start making it worth nearly $1000 per coin. Users, banks, and even governments are becoming more interested into Bitcoin, and its underlying technology called the Blockchain.

Now, as we progress into making Bitcoin more scalable and efficient than ever, I would like to know what are your thoughts for the pioneer cryptocurrency in 2017?

If all goes well for Bitcoin this year, it might increase its value more than $1000, as well as become closer to being used as a mainstream currency. What do you think?  Smiley

I don't know if this would be the year that bitcoin would make a big impact, just like last year bitcoin value is still movable and I think that is not very usual cause it is always happening even in the past and the value just turn to $1K but right now it fell to $904.39 value and I think it is still early to say such things but that is just my speculation and we could really never know what would happen in the future!

For me, my thoughts for bitcoin this year is to have a high vale ofcourse, to have a better use and earnings this year and to have a small amount of lose. We all know that there are few people used bitcoin. I hope this year many people will accomodate bitcoin and hope to see what are the advantages of it. Other people doesn't know what is the most helpful function of this bitcoin. So i hope this year will be a better and good progressive for bitcoin. That's all. Thankyou. Smiley
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: March 15, 2017, 03:37:10 AM
Yes, I can probably stop when I want to... most of the time Wink

When you stop, for how long are you able to stay away from it before you come back to gamble? I want to know because it you seem to suggest a short time frame whereby you lose go and come back after perhaps you reload your bankroll or when you feel like trying again.
actually it's all just same thing , when you decide to stop gamble for a while but then continue it later (means you gamble for long term) it won't work makes you profitable . so just leave gambling forever once you got a super big prize , don't make any comeback or you would have full of regret just what i have done in 2016 i have 5 bitcoin profit in my calculation but things gone wild and i got zero profit now in my bankroll.

Yes. I can control myself when gambling because I have many things to do not only to gamble. But for me when I was starting in playing gambling sites I always play and play only and nothing to finish task but I realize that gambling isn't the only thing I have to do so I control myself and remember that gambling is only a game for relaxation and not for long term.
856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin business idea on: March 15, 2017, 02:49:11 AM
I really like the idea of opening a freelance bitcoin job, if i had huge amount of money i will open a huge scale of online shop like amazon or ebay, i am sure if it is advertise correctly it can become larger than ebay and with bitcoin as payment the customer no need to be afraid of credit card information theft

i think you can start for a small site first like offer a services for making debit card, paypal vcc, selling the product or anything else. you can start to sell in around your city and online, and from time to time, if you have experience to handles the order, then you are ready to open a huge scale of online shop. you can see on aliexpress or alibaba, they start from small in little scope range and now, they become a giants in the internet.

I think for me the best way is  to invest it in some businesses because it is very hard to start a businesses. Use it in trading, lending, buy and sell and even selling only. Bitcoin now has a hugh value so you need to know how to retain it. I prefer to you if you want to start a business you should start in small only like buying stuffs using bitcoin then selling it online or even personal so that you have earning. Smiley
857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to bitcoins in an online wallet with lost password? on: March 15, 2017, 02:45:23 AM
Suppose a person have some bitcoins in his online wallet and he forget the password (or lose access to that online wallet in any way) then what will happen to that bitcoins? Will that be there forever or as the wallet providers have access to them and they will get them if they find no any owner for years.
if you forget the password maybe you can request a new password, all online wallet features Recover password

If we are talking about the web wallet from blockchain.info you can't request a new password and the only way is by recovering your password  using the mnemonic phrase provided from blockchain.

Yes. If blockchain is your wallet then you lost your password all you have to do is to put the given phrase when you already starting. But in the other wallet. I suggest to you that request for a new. You have email address on it so ask for the reset password. Because all I know is that if you lost your password and have bitcoin on it, after a year or a month they will have access on it and get the bitcoin inside that wallet.
858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: March 15, 2017, 02:41:45 AM
Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.

explain to teenagers yes but i don't think you should start explaining bitcoin to kids before explaining to them how money works and what money really is Smiley

but in general i think using a video is the easiest way you can explain bitcoin to anybody at any age. and youtube is filled with videos and some of them are actually good.

Yes! First you need to ecplain to the children how money works and earn so that if you explain the bitcoin to them, they would easily know how it woks. In teenager, it is very easy because we all know that the maturity of teenager is better than the children. Explain to them on how it works and where to get or earn bitcoin and what are the good ways to earn it. Smiley
859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: March 15, 2017, 02:37:16 AM
Bitcoin is usually used by people interested in technology. I mean, persons with a certain technical knowledge are interested in bitcoin.

My observations are that way. I think Bitcoin needs to reach larger quantities. Can use bitcoin in people who are not interested in technology?
Can people use the bitcoin in the profession group like tradesmen, teachers, housewives, firemen, butchers? Are we going to see the days that these people use bitcoin?

first there needs to be some place they can "use" bitcoin at. if we want to talk about usage. then if there is a place to use bitcoin just the way there is a place to use credit card, even if "regular citizens" don't understand the technology behind bitcoin they can use it with their phone Apps, with their third party services that make it easier and so on.

Yes it can increase the usage rate. People do not need to know about the technical infrastructure. Simple ease of use that people need. For example, anyone can shop with credit card without knowing their technical infrastructure. It is practical and easy to shop with credit card. The use rate will increase if bitcoin is a develop application in this way.

Yes. Ofcourse! Because bitcoin can be use by anyone. It doesn't have requirements in using bitcoin. All you need to have is the strategy in how you will earn and gain in different ways and be hardworking. Because bitcoin for me is all about hardworking. If you want to earn, work hard. Smiley
860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: March 14, 2017, 01:07:12 PM
How many threads similar to this have been posted? Huh

Back to the topic, nowadays I only play for fun and not for profit, knowing that I am really not lucky in those kind of games. However, in a month or two, I might start gambling for profit again (the Internationals on dota 2 which I am very fond of).
yeaaa first of all I want to criticize op action lately , he created over and over again a thread questioning similar things.
however it is okay as long as the topic are truly different and genuine.
most people have a reason to have fun but for me it is a lie , they need money and they gamble.

Yepp. For me, it is both because while playing gambling it will hive you the excitement you will satisfied and you'll be feel challenging and and the same time while you are experiencing it, gambking gives you some profit. But as I always said, gambling isn't give you always win. Smiley
