Some people were asking to remove Steem from ICNX... Not today tho...  Bottom line, Dividends from ICNX continues to grow, despite daily ups & down of its underlying cryptos. I was one of these people. I kind of fail to see steem long term.. I admit I haven't did a thorough due diligence on the project, though. |

Hey guys, i'm so bullish on Bitcoin right now and i think we're at the beginning of a strong demand of Bitcoin. I've got the feeling that by summer BTC is around 1500 usdollar. In this bullrun alts are going down faster than i expected even in dollarprice what's up with that? Miners sell all their alts to get a lot of BTC because mining BTC is too hard. My Question to you guys, if Bitcoin becomes mainstream will Iconomi be able to pay dividends at all? Also the 15 procent cap of one crypto is a question to me it would be much better now for the iconomi index to own a lot of BTC right, why the 15 procent. The index is in a downtrend and if i'm right and BTC continues to go higher also the index will go lower and the price of ICN will go lower.
The idea of an crypto indexfund is great but if Iconomi will keep the boundries of the 15 procent i really don't know.
Bitcoin holds about 85% of the value of all blockchains why not in the Iconomi index? If people outside crypto would invest in iconomi it will be more attractive to buy ICN if it holds more BTC. In the end it is all about making money for the ICN holdlers right so maybe let's rethink the 15% cap of one blockchain. If Iconomi was more in BTC the Iconomi Index would be lot higher.
People at work know me as the Bitcoinguy and more and more people starting to get interested and asks questions how to buy BTC, other things like Ethereum they can hardly understand i can tell. It took me 3 years to get some of my colleages the get some BTC but finally there is some motion in the right direction. For the rest of my coworkers i think it will take about 5 more years depending on what the price of BTC does.
The thing about Bitcoin as the currency i like , it's money where the rules and supply are clear and this is easy to explane to most people and if the price goes up it's even better and it will attract more people to this crypto world.

He is the second one that joins this sweet ride. With both of them, I just mentioned Iconomi as my primary investment and after they did their own due diligence they decided to buy-in. The last one is really good friend, totally outside crypto. It was interesting to watch how he gets sucked into Iconomi.  |

You didn't get yours yet? You have to go to Iconomi office in Ljubljana, Slovenia in order to pick up a paper wallet that contains your ETH dividends or ask them to mail them to you. You will get a nice box of dividends |

Yes it does, Even If you want for leaving your coin in there, you will get a definite thing for receiving your dividend. But never hold your token in the exchange wallet. or you will never get a dividend for that. You can read more about it at ICONOMI whitepaper or watch his AMA yesterday. This already clear with the team statement. I think that is the reason why exchanges like bittrex and polo can't add ICN on their list due to these dividend issue. If ICONOMI sends weekly dividends to ICN holders, the exchanges has to send ETH for them. I don't think so. Why should kraken be able to send dividends and polo and bittrex don't? They all got ETH listed. Kraken don't send dividens to you. If your coins in Kraken you will not get dividens. How do you know what Kraken will do? They haven't announced yet. They may decide to distribute the dividends to the users, you just don't know that. They are smart, I believe they will do the right decision and distribute the dividends. Otherwise they will have bad reputation. Liqui already announced that they will not keep the dividends to themselves, Kraken will do the same. |

Really, if I were a whale within the ICN I would play with emotional fish. With that volume in Kraken would be easy.
Trying to manipulate the price is a dangerous game. One wrong move, and even whales can lose all their precious ICN. Why risk a +1000% long term profit to a measly %10% to 20% short term risky move? First dividends won't be so high and attractive from ROI point of view. It can't be, since not much money would be invested in different projects, and the liquidity would not be high enough for healthy weekly profits (exit positions). It will take some time to get to full speed. The attractive part will be the very fact that dividends are paid. $12 a token.. I wish we'll get there so fast, but we need to be realistic otherwise the babytrolls will wake up again. $12 a token represent a mature, fully operating platform with good and stable user-base. I don't see how that can be achieved in few months. |

Not just words ... there were some pictures also and today the biggest news ever .. a 5000 ETH investment ... to the moon ... I tell you, these guys here really think everyone around is retarded ! Its just speculation, but in a controlled way (that is why the ICN its just on Kraken ... a big whale is pumping now the price, silly people will jump in to buy high (because of course ICN to the moon), then the whales will just buy back cheap in a few weeks. That would be harder to do on Polo as there are way more investors so you cannot really control things. I couldn't agree more! So i guess we'll have to do without it on the two main exchanges til thy kingdom come. lol You two should get a room together and cry on each other shoulder. No polo for now, suck it up. Something to think about. The ICN index fund holds around 15% DASH. If ICONOMI decide to run DASH masternodes (1000 DASH per node) this will generate income of about 1.9-2.0 DASH per 7-10 days on average. Their are a few calcs around that i will dig up and post, however it's about a 9-10% return for running a masternode. What does this mean? Another potential income stream to add value to the fund and even out the bumps or help compound. My mind now turns to the potential for LISK and forging as a possible income stream for the ICN Index. Fun times The ICN index fund holds around 15% DASH. The ICNX fund holds 0 currencies. Currently it is only an index - it just trucks the currencies based on the predefined rules. Once the funds becomes active, and people decide to invest in it, only then it will have actual assets. But the idea is good. |
