it would also go a bit better if the fee was listed and if it was detailed that they keep the transaction fees. To advertise as a "no-fee" pool is more of a stretch then us complaining about their fees and lack of being straight forward about their fees. Either way, I wont use the pool as even with the 5% bonus they provided due to no transaction fees and paying network fees the payments are smaller than any other pool.

8422  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [300 PH][BTC PPS 100%][0% FEE][EN/CN/RU] Sigmapool.com on: March 02, 2019, 03:55:03 AM
There it is, confirmed that they don't pay out any transaction fees that one makes on just about any other pool in the world.

Run, run far away from this pool, which really looks to just be a small server farm.

which is why I find it amazing that so many forum users are running sig banners for this pool - even forum people that represent other pools.

if you are willing to pay those prices, I can sell you 5 of my S9's with PSU for half what the guys above are charging - say $1000 even per miner and even ship them for free at that price.

seriously guys!? 2500 each for an S9?

and then double serious, if you are wiling to pay that price, my offer of $1000 per unit stands - would need to use escrow, of course.

Check the date on those posts Cheesy

i know what their date was Smiley but he posted yesterday that he wants more Smiley

8425  Economy / Digital goods / selling Bitmain coupons - multiple values on: February 28, 2019, 06:26:51 PM
I have some coupons I will not be using - these all expire at the end of march

and I will transfer them for 10% of their face value - payment can be via paypal or via crypto equivalent

I have 7 ea of 340 - $34 ea
I have 4 ea of 250 - $25 ea
I have 7 ea of 160 - $16 ea
I have 7 ea of 65 -$6.50 ea

I will update the list above as quantities change - image below shows I do in fact have the coupons. If desired, we can use escrow - @philipma1957 who is pretty well known on these forums provides escrow services.

Fees:
We don’t play games with miners like “Share the TxFee and then take 3% away and pay the withdrawal fee” and other schemes, where the result leads to receiving less than 100% PPS from block. We have an absolutely transparent payment system. The pool pays all the 12.5 BTC from block to miners using the PPS system. The only thing you have to pay for is the Bitcoin network transaction commission itself.

by doing this you are actually paying less than the pools that pay out transaction fees and keep 3%  and your system does not show that the miners pay the transaction fee either - nor - until now - have you stated that there was a fee. I guess you meant "no fee" to sigma. Not paying the transaction fees to the miner is also a "fee" that is being charged to the miners essentially as they are not receiving those funds.
8427  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: selling Bitmain Miners S9/S9i/S9j on: February 28, 2019, 06:01:13 AM
question for anyone who may have shipped from the US to another country - what is the best service to use? I had a buyer contact me who is from Australia - the quote for a single miner with psu to ship from US to Australia was over $500 USD -- that seems drastically retarded to me but I used their online quote services for both fedex and for UPS.

if anyone has insight, i would appreciate it.

Fedex and UPS is the most expensive.

Best is USPS trust me. I've shipped hundreds of products since 2006 from US ebay and USPS has a track record of 9/10 (at least). Of course UPS and Fedex's never lose your shipment and have a perfect record but their services are ridiculously overpriced. Plus the customs will open UPS / Fedex parcels but mostly just skip USPS parcels - at least in my country.

yep checked usps and it was nearly $250... the miners are only $200 not worth it to anyone to pay that shipping though. so it looks like it needs to be stateside if I am shipping. I just want to sell em so I can make some room for T15's lol
8428  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: selling Bitmain Miners S9/S9i/S9j on: February 27, 2019, 01:15:58 PM
Where areyou shipping from?

as stated in my post above - from the US - Florida specifically.

for my hash rate (had I been mining for the past 12 months with kano), minergain shows kano at a slight lower amount than slush and viabtc shows the highest.

past 12 months - shows kano behind slush by $291.13 and behind viabtc by 774.33

on the other hand, 2019 is off to a great start as it shows kano ahead of slush by 21.26 but behind viabtc by 16.79

If I go back 24 months, kano is 229.29 behind slush but is 2568.75 ahead of viabtc

I wish minergain had additional pools for reference.

My guess is it just depends on the date range that is being viewed and it really goes to show that luck pretty much irons out the variances and pool hopping does no real benefit unless you just get lucky as hell and can be in all the right pools at the right time but even then it still comes close to even.

I currently run 20 asic miners between slush, viabtc, antpool, pool.btc and kano.is  I did decide to give sigma a try but that only lasted a week, after seeing their shady shady shit I was making less even with their 5% bonus and "zero fees" than I was on any other pool. I also then have a few miners spread out on solo pools - hoping for that lucky shot at a block Smiley

I also run a few cpu/gpu rigs for alt coins - at least 20 or so.

I also sometimes take miners offline due to the electric cost and due to issues with my stupid power company that wants to keep taking me offline due to my huge consumption (I always pay the bill - they just want me to go with a commercial rate which is higher than my residential rate) when I do it is usually from kano.is - not because I like kano.is the least but because of the ramp down/ramp up I can still get paid when they are offline. If I go offline on any other pools - except viabtc which is also using pplns - I make nothing. Though viabtc ramp down seems like it is only a day or so.

Of all the pools I do use, I find that I like kano the best - not because I make the most money here - because sometimes I do not - but because of the community. No other pool I have participated in has any community that comes even close to what is here.

so after all my rabble and rambling - mine on kano!

8433  Economy / Computer hardware / **SOLD** Bitmain Miners S9/S9i on: February 26, 2019, 02:54:14 AM
I can operate only 20 miners at my location. Currently, I plan on purchasing some new T15's, so I need to make room, thus I have for sale the following miners:

two S9's 13.5 th/s  <---- SOLD
two S9i's 13.5 th/s <---- SOLD
one S9j 14.5 th/s   <---- SOLD

The miners are in perfect working condition - all hashboards/controllers are working perfectly, miners are currently plugged in and hashing away.

price is $200 per miner and includes PSU - plus shipping - we can calculate that later.

***EDIT*** Price is $150 ea if you buy all 4.

we can do escrow service if you choose - I am sure there are plenty of trustworthy escrow services here on the forums.

Miners have not been overclocked and are all currently using the November LPM software, so power consumption is down and hashrate is normal - the newest LPM software lowers both power consumption and hashrate. If you contact me, I can provide a timestamped photo of the miners that show them working. The miners currently vent directly to outside so have never been overheated as the ventilation system runs at about 3k cfm of incoming air with an added dehumidifier system that keeps the air dry - in short, these miners have not been abused and have been well maintained.  If you have any specific questions - please message me and I will answer as soon as I can.  Upon sale, miner will have default user name/password reset - pool configurations reset and then re-packaged in original packaging.

This is my first for sale post - if I have missed any of the required information, I apologize in advance.

It's a manual calculation that anyone can do.  It's the average BTC you've received for the month divided by your average hashrate for the month.  You can calculate both from your payouts page. Smiley

ok, and yes, i know how to do that. Smiley I just wondered if I was doing something that is already being displayed somewhere else lol because the number he gave is considerably lower than my average. my average is currently 0.00018362 btc per th

Block! by the new guy xasmer - welcome to the acclaim board!

Ahhh, the power of PPLNS! February is now 0.00005216 BTC/Day/TH Cheesy

is that a manual calculation or is that displayed somewhere I am missing?
8436  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [300 PH][BTC PPS 100%][0% FEE][EN/CN/RU] Sigmapool.com on: February 25, 2019, 04:54:21 PM
KanoPool's fee is 0.9% after transaction fees are included as stated near the top of the Help/Payouts page.  Slush's fees are 1.1% after transactions fees are added in.  This pool does not give you the transaction fees which is pretty close to 2.0% this month but they don't call that a fee.  So it appears they have payout fees also that they don't talk about.

EDIT: Oh yea, the KanoPool is up to 0.00005216 BTC/day per TH for February in case you were wondering Smiley

and more if we can find a few more blocks before end of the month Smiley
8437  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [300 PH][BTC PPS 100%][0% FEE][EN/CN/RU] Sigmapool.com on: February 25, 2019, 04:53:04 AM
The reward you see on kano's pool (and slush as long as you're above .01, and ck's pool) are what you receive.

This pool is showing you how it makes its money, by ripping you off in at least three ways.

lol even antpool and slushpool i get what they say they send.
8438  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [300 PH][BTC PPS 100%][0% FEE][EN/CN/RU] Sigmapool.com on: February 25, 2019, 01:13:42 AM
The pool doesn't pay the bitcoin network commission for the transaction. I believe these satoshis you lack is the bitcoin network commission.

possibly - but then they should state that instead of saying "no fees" although they do not charge it, they do not pay it.

Yeah that's a payout fee ... and they also keep the mining transaction fees ...

... even though they still lie about it...

Kano - I dont see payout fees from your pool - do you account for this and report our reward post fee? or do you pay the fee?

Or is it to accurate.

You are mining "without" receiving transaction fees  Con
You are mining "without" paying fees for it out of pocket or from your implied reward   Pro
You are mining "without" knowledge of transaction fees being your responsibility.  Con

Either way I'd move on, my payouts/fees have all been crystal clear this weekend.

I have. and my payouts on the 4 other pools I am on are also crystal clear.
8439  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [300 PH][BTC PPS 100%][0% FEE][EN/CN/RU] Sigmapool.com on: February 24, 2019, 10:29:26 PM
Your questions will go unanswered I'm guessing.

am I wrong to assume that the payments that are reflected in miner dashboard should be equal to what is shown on the block chain? Is the mining pool charging me a fee to send me my payment? which I don't mind except they say zero fees - but I know they keep the transaction fees so they are only dispersing the 12.5 btc block reward but it seems as if they are also then charging a small - very small - fee to send miners their payments.

My miners will be removed from the pool (of course) until this is answered by sigmapool
