For me, I think there are two perspective with this.
First, if you will see gambling as a way to get money easily then maybe it will waste your money and time. If you lose your money, there is a tendency that you will seek for revenge and get another money again to retrieve what has been lost to you - money.
Second, if you will see gambling as a way to have fun only then I think its not a waste of time. Even though you lose your money, its ok for you since you enjoyed gambling and the stress has been removed thanks to gambling.

I think the reason why they are getting addicted to gambling is just because they want an instant money, they want an easy profit which is not possible. Beside, I think another reason is once they play gambling and lose they tend to play again to retrieve their loss then it'll become habit of them which can conclude that you became an addict.

Its easy to say that but the reality is many investors are worried right now with the recent plunge of the price of Bitcoin. Those who bought at $20,000 who are patiently waiting for another spike are now crying with what happened right now.
Price manipulation is one reason of this. Spreading news on the internet, creating hard forks etc. These are their ways to manipulate the price of cryptocurrencies. Anyway, I believe that it will have a slow recovery but I'm a bit worried too.

I can't believe Spurs are 10-12, they are getting away from the 0.500 mark more and more every single match.
It is really starting to look worrisome, I know Pop is one of the best coaches in the league history but he is still inactive during all of this as far as we can see, they need to try something else or they will be out of the playoff race for the first time in 2 decades and it will be the first year Kawhi decided to left and there was turmoil in spurs, it would all look like Kawhi was right and spurs is not a good organization anymore if they just let it go.
On contrary they have to win a lot more this year to show people that Kawhi wasn't a big deal but apparently he was. Lakers on the other hand started the season horribly but they have been getting better and better with time, lets hope they will find some ways to rival western conference but from the looks of it western conference is filled with hype teams like blazers and clippers which will not be too good for too long and will start to lose some games eventually.
If you will see their roster, their are weaker compare to the roster where TP9, Duncan abd Ginobili and Kawhi is still playing. Only DeRozan is their all star player, most of them are average players and Aldridge and Gay are on their prime seasons already. Thats the reason why they are struggling right now. They can't cope up with other teams. Pop is a good coach but the players need more experience. |

The Nuggets just crushed the Lakers 117-85. Lebron scored just 14 pts and Kuzma scored 21. 6 players from Nuggets have double figure in points. Now the Cavs-turn-Lakers fans are now crying because their team lost again.
Good win for the Raptors on the road against the Grizzlies 122-114. They are down 12 on the first half but they come out strong on the second half draining their threes that helped them to gain their 17th win. 6 players are in double figures too.

If you can sell your coins in a loss then do it. If you can't hold your coins anymore then sell it. Most if not all of us are in a loss right now because of the massive drop of Bitcoin and there is nobody we can do aside from holding it. Price manipulation can be done with Bitcoin since it is a decentralized currency. I can manipulate the price of Bitcoin if I have many money. I can join those manipulators to manipulate the price of it and nobody can stop us. I think what we must do in order to lessen or remove price manipulation is to spread the word to others. The small market cap of the cryptocurrency in general makes the market easy to manipulate its price.

There are also positive things that come from gambling. It can be a great stress reliever for some people, you may lose a small amount of money but it's no different than paying for entertainment such as a concert or a movie. Also it can actually improve your social life and you may meet a lot of new friends from gambling.

I am not gonna lie I was one of those people who said San Antonio Spurs will be better this year thanks to the trade but apparently I was wrong as well. Of course, we are still early in the season and there are still a lot of games to be played but they do not look better after the trade.
I believed they would be much better because they traded Kawhi who played only 9 games last year and got Derozan who is a star in return, considering a 9 game Kawhi wouldn't make a difference compared to a star that will play a lot of games I believed they will be much better this year.
However, Derozan is basically playing all by himself this year, Lamarcus is good one game and bad another and incredibly inconsistent, Rudy gay scores a lot one game and sucks another game, Dante Cunningham is not a starter caliber player at all and all the injuries they have really crippled them. They were suppose to be really good this year after they got rid of a locker room trouble but not doing as well as hoped.
I expected the reverse of what you expected. I know that the trade of Kawhi to DeRozan is not a good move for them. Now they are not on the top of the standings. Their current roster is weaker compare to the season where Kawhi is playing with Manu who is retired already and TP9 who is on the Hornets right now (biggest mistake for them I think). If you will see their roster, only DeRozan is the all star player there. Yeah Aldridge is a good player and also Rudy Gay but as I said, they are weaker now. Now the Raptors with Kawhi are lot stronger now. They are excelling in defense right now and in offense, they put Siakam on the offense and he is the one who is scoring to the team along with Ibaka and other players. |
