Tidak semua proyek butuh atau perlu membuat main-net sendiri. Misalnya stable coin semacam ROCKZ ga perlu buat main-net kalau blockchain ETH masih bisa digunakan. Tetapi main-net perlu buat proyek yang mengharuskan adanya blockchain tersendiri dan tidak numpang di blockchain koin lain. Misalnya EOS, karena proyeknya saja ingin 'menggantikan' ETH ya jelas butuh mainnet. Contoh lain, LTO memerlukan main-net karena tidak mungkin bisa menjalankan proyeknya tanpa ada blockchain khusus yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan blockchain hybrid yang mereka perlukan untuk anchoring & live contracts.

Main-net tidak sesempit itu definisinya gan menurut saya. Main-net, secara umum adalah jaringan blockchain utama suatu proyek yang terbebas dari jaringan yang lain. Ada pula test-net, dst. Main-net tidak digunakan hanya untuk transfer mata uang digital, tergantung proyeknya sendiri apa fungsi dari main-net itu, apakah untuk verifikasi data, dst.

Untuk pertanyaan agan, ane rasa jawabannya tergantung proyeknya. Kalau proyek itu dirasa perlu bikin blockchain sendiri dan tidak bisa mengandalkan pada blockchain lain, maka main-net menjadi sebuah keharusan. Misalnya untuk EOS, kalau dia ga meluncurkan main-net ya sama aja proyeknya gagal.

I'm sure there will be more innovation if that's really become a problem. But as a user, you can still be anonymous if you do it correctly even though it might be more difficult to use your Bitcoin. For example, instead of using a single mixer, you can use multiple mixers to send your bitcoins, or we can adopt mimblewimble to increase privacy and stuff like that.

I think the cause for this is complex, but yeah it can be a sign that people are losing their interest in crypto. I bet most of this views comes from bounty hunters who were scammed and not getting paid thus stop using this forum for good (or at least wait for the next bull run where scam project can go x20).

They can still use the content campaign and something like that. Signature is not the only way to promote your project, especially if you target people outside this forum.

Anyway, it seems XBASE price is quite stable around $0.0008. Still far from ICO price, and if there's no change in token utility I really doubt it can push the price up. What's the tech used for this blockchain? Is it Tendermint or you build from scratch? According to your GitHub page, it seems like the ETH chain will be used as the main net, why don't you use your own chain as the main net?

Instead of building a masternode and then allow people to vote on which foundation to donate, why don't you just straightly donate to charity organizations with Bitcoin or something else? I don't get the point of building a new framework just to lay out a platform for voting. There's already a thousand foundation out there which gladly accept a donation if we visit their site.

At this moment there's an ongoing debate whether we've entered the bottom or there will be another dump before we can see a new uptrend. It's quite hard to predict correctly so manage your funds carefully.
