8581  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency? on: September 29, 2016, 05:08:17 PM
While not officially legal due to bitcoin being unregulated it is also not illegal. It's like using Qatari Riyals in a local shop in Singapore it is legal but not accepted openly. National currencies are made as standard monetary for each countries while bitcoin was created by the power of the internet.
8582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is earning bitcoin Boring? on: September 29, 2016, 04:51:50 PM
For me earning bitcoin is interesting because while earning we get to know about many things and experience and suffering of many people. B7t mining bitcoin could be boring became you could have fed your machine through out the week but your system will fetch point few bitcoin that is less than 0.0001 bitcoin. But earning bitcoin online is of great of fun. Take interest and you too will feel awesome.

Exactly. It depends on your interests but chances are you won't get bored when earning. Except when you are earning minimal and immaterial.
8583  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: September 28, 2016, 01:44:56 PM
If you're just looking to earn an extra buck on your coins at virtually no risk, lending it on Poloniex is always a good option.
Lending is not earning because you will still have to pay the principal amount of your loan together with the interest, maybe if you are a scammer who will the pay the lender then that is an earning but that is not good for the lender and the entire community, we do not promote scammers here, we hate them.
How is p2p lending not good for the community? It's virtually no risk for the lender as Poloniex takes the obligation to always make the lenders whole, even if they need to liquidate the borrowers' accounts. It's probably THE BEST option to make passive income in Bitcoin.
So how much can you lend on that? And what if the person will not pay how would poloniex will collect on that person, I have no idea that thing has existed but if that is really true then maybe I would be interested to borrow as I am currently trading in poloniex.

Isn't Poloniex interests on lending are like 0.07% in days? I think interest gained to way too small. Maybe i'll just invest my btc into some reliable gambling sites where I can probably gain around 10% per month.

8585  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: September 26, 2016, 10:13:45 AM
Anytime we can buy bitcoins even now, the price is cheap IMO and that is a good price if you are holding for a long term investment. I guess we just have to have balls in order to buy a decent number of bitcoins as our investment.
Yeah , you can buy bitcoin anytime you want . And we optimistic because bitcoin's price will be rising up in the future.
So , you can buy some to guaranteed your investment in the future . If you don't have money , you can get it free instead.

Yup if you believe that price will surely go higher in future then you can buy them at any price, as it is predicted that price will rise in future which will give us an opportunity to make good profits from it.

I can't stop buying bitcoins because I am trying to focus my new investments into it. I am not yet done investing on those reliable gambling sites. lol.
8586  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: September 26, 2016, 09:49:00 AM
Right now no plan at all to get rich with bitcoins,i do not know how its possible that i can get rich bitcoins.I am not even earning a really good amount in bitcoin right now just learning about it and earn a little bit that help me in my mobile recharges.
Don't worry mate do not push it harder, the right time will come that you will realize you are wanting more benefits on your stay here, I understand maybe you are still young and you have less demand in life and you can easily be contented but overtime you will look for bigger money and you will aim to be rich.

That's the spirit. Contentment is what matters anyway. I am an expat around 10 months ago. And I just realized that I need to have enough extra income so I can go home and stop being an employee anymore and just do what I felt is best for me. Before month end my bitcoin investments will be around 4 btc.
8587  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITCOIN SPORTS BETTING SITE RANKINGS - USER GENERATED on: September 26, 2016, 08:01:59 AM

8588  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: September 26, 2016, 07:52:42 AM
Buying bitcoins here in the Middle East is really hard. Maybe in UAE it's a bit easy but in most countries it's difficult and when you do it costs a lot. I guess this is also one of the main reasons cryptocurrency isnt growing that fast in some parts of the world.
8589  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: September 26, 2016, 07:45:58 AM
For me both, i used bitcoin as currency and investment.
As currency, i used it to buy load shopping online.
And as investment ofcourse, i used it to earn more btc in
investment.

currently im use itcoin for payment processor only, for investment i choose other crypto curency like ethereum classic.
bitcoin is very simple to be a payment processor, easy to use tha paypal
you are right and use bitcoin as a better payment option like me . since i am.using bitcoin as investment but it is a work of patience to get profit . but overall i like bitcoin to find it as internet currency

I'm still building up enough bitcoin reserves, so not using it as a payment mechanism yet. When I get enough bitcoin funds behind me then I'll start using it to pay for things too. I'm probably 6 months away from getting to that level though. Can't wait till I get there. You are right, patience is the key with these kinds of investment.

Maybe it is better to save most of the bitcoins. Then use small percentage of the coins to help the network.

Mostly on investments because so far bitcoin isn't yet accepted widely. I do bet using bitcoins though.
8590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is earning bitcoin Boring? on: September 25, 2016, 04:47:54 PM
It depends on your hobbies and interests. If in the first place you are not that really interested in cryptocurrency and was just doing it for money then it'll be boring. Other than that it depends like trading although you don't have to monitor it every minutes.
8591  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: want to start mining on: September 24, 2016, 08:28:11 PM
Today one of my friend hit me with his question that he want to start bitcoin mining but i am a noob too in mining thing so i though it is the right time to ask you guys about it
his pc has

2gb ram
Intel 2.8 Ghz processor
500 gb HDD
Internet - coming soon 500kbps download speed

and his mobile has(for web mining) :

2gb Ram
Intel 1.6 Ghz
Internet - download speed 4-5 mbps

he asked me 1.what pool should he use? 2.what software he should use and some additional information about this. precautions and guides are welcome too

Not worth mining. Perhaps could mine Altcoins and sell it on exchanges such as Yobit for some Bitcoins. But if electricity prices are high, then it is totally not worth it.

It is better to mine the altcoin. It is more profitable than mining the bitcoin directly. The ROI is quite fast.

Can you add more details please? Like specs and what kind of altcoins are best?
8592  Economy / Economics / Re: Is gold better than Bitcoin? on: September 23, 2016, 02:15:34 PM
Gold is a product with physical value while bitcoin is an anonymous currency. In the long run gold has the bigger chance to live long due to its worth. Gold is a resource used in physical world while bitcoin is a monetary like cash used to purchases products and services. Sometimes a certain currency loses her value but scarce resources like gold remains a commodity.
8593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: September 23, 2016, 08:06:42 AM
Golden State is going to shine again this season. Durant is every teams wanted due to his non greedy way of playing. By the way Melo unless he understand team work can't get a ring forever.
8594  Local / Pamilihan / Re: OFWs: Best site to buy BTC/Altcoins on: September 23, 2016, 06:13:22 AM
If in Europe, bitstamp.net
If in Canada, quadrigacx.com
If in United States, coinbase.com

All other places, try checking localbitcoins.com first.

In the Philippines, well, try the top 3: coins.ph, btcexchange.ph, buybitcoins.ph / rebit.ph

Thanks for the response. Btcexchange.ph is really new to me. Currently I am remitting foreign money to a Philippine bank then transfer it to coins.ph. Not the fastest way though but I think I saved some few bucks doing it instead of using Paypal or Visa transaction with higher fees.

I wonder if you guys do this like buying btc thru coins.ph and then withdrawing it thru buybitcoins.ph because they have higher selling price.
8595  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Let's talk about Gambling on: September 23, 2016, 05:46:13 AM
I'm thinking of starting a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to develop a new gambling site. Pick two numbers from 1 to 37. Provably Fair. Only IPO participants can be investors, with option to sell or trade their shares. After launch, will look for more funding from "kapitalistas" for the bank roll (to pay out winners, of course).

It would look like my existing site, but of course it would be a different game, so different development, different engine, re-write from scratch... instead of the traditional 3 draws per day, it would be maybe 6 to 8 draws per day (every 3 or 4 hours).

Maybe give 2 or 3 months for crowdfunding, and if target is not met, refund all investors (minus tx fee.)

Bro may new thread na po kayo dito para sa possible updates? Di po ako IT so medyo limited lang kaalaman ko pero i'm interested.
8596  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: September 23, 2016, 04:34:00 AM
I'm having no plans to get rich, I just want to see what the bitcoin is gonna brings me, I hope it will be some good stuff but we cannot predict this right now so we need some patient at the moment.
Like a lot of others I also do not have a plan but I do not see a problem because of this, some people get rich by trying something they never had planned.
I think you should not plan something to be come rich it can be good but it can also be bad so I think you just have to see what the time will bring.
If you will become rich and you do not plan it then I would say you are just lucky and  we know that only few of those people who are rich because of luck, most of the successful people who became rich are those who work hard and they implement their plan no matter what.
i think after a better luck there is something that is what we called hardwork . because with hardwork ee can do anything . if anyone is here want to be rich then he should make some plan instead to left all upon luck .

i don't believe in luck.
everybody makes his own luck in life. this means if you are working hard and working smart it means that you can make a good amount of money and then if you are wise enough you can invest that kind of money into something good to make more profit on it and in time you can eventually become rich.

I think every success is accompanied with luck. You have a plan and work hard for it so you got the so called edge but doesn't mean you will succeed automatically. It's like playing a dice betting game and you set winning chance at 70% but you still need luck to win it. Planning, hard work and dedication gives us the edge rather than not planning and just waiting on what to happen next.
8597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can disappear? on: September 22, 2016, 11:50:35 AM
There is a small chance bitcoin will disappear and if it happens there won't be any panic because it won't just happen overnight. First it's value goes down until it becomes unnecessary. On the other side bitcoin won't likely disappear because it already proved to millions of users how valuable is it and better expect it to continue it's rise.
8598  Other / Off-topic / Re: if you have the 10 BTC where you want to spend it on: September 22, 2016, 11:44:18 AM
60% - investing into reliable sites.
30% - trading.
10% - gambling especially sports betting.

Of course everything starts with researching and studying.
8599  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: September 22, 2016, 09:52:40 AM
How to spend it when I don't have where to do that, my country Serbia is far behind world in this matter. One day it will be, but on capitol Belgrade. In my town who knows when exactly after Belgrade, if I can guess 5 years minimum for that to happen.
Only way for me to spend some coins is to go abroad and there to find such cafe or shop where I can try to spend my coins in real life for the first time.

It's sad. A little bit the same with my situation because I am an expat in a desert country. But at least I have some reliable friends back home that can send me bitcoins and I pay them with our national currency thru remittance centers. If you are earning big maybe you ca try Paypal or some banks? Wish you luck mate. Smiley
