861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promising altcoins? on: July 08, 2023, 08:10:00 AM
If that is your preference then I suggest you give away a large portion of ETH. I think BNB and XRP are the blue chips for crypto but seeing the news about the conflict between SEC and Binance I think it's going to be a bit of a stretch. XRP is also subject to a lawsuit from the SEC though I don't really know how that goes. But what I do know is that these 2 tokens are in trouble with the SEC and this is not looking good.
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TrueUSD (TUSD) Next stablecoin to depeg? on: July 08, 2023, 07:35:02 AM
I think like most people in this forum. TUSD is still very worrying pegged to the dollar. This means that people will trust USDT, USDC or BUSD more. I'm more careful and I'd rather wait to see how TUSD develops in the future.
863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In the best interest of investors, Bounties shouldn't be paid in Tokens on: July 07, 2023, 03:38:23 PM
If they pay with tokens that are stable on the market or pay with non-tokens such as dollars, then what about their project? And where do they get enough money to pay the bounty hunters? Logically, if you pay $200,000 but using your tokens, of course you can allocate your tokens in the amount of two hundred thousand dollars. But bounty projects pay $100,000 in dollars, of course they have to find investors who have that many dollars.
Which of these two options is advantageous for the project developer?
864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Durning bull market we will received many good bounty? on: July 07, 2023, 03:26:22 PM
Bounties are not affected by bull season or bear market season. But it's just about momentum. If the market is currently in the bull market phase then usually new bounties get the chance to get lots of new investors in their projects. And this can certainly be a good opportunity for the project to capitalize on this momentum.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network is under investigation in Vietnam on: July 07, 2023, 03:17:36 PM
A friend of mine once recommended Pi Network to me. But after seeing the business model they offered, I immediately thought that this project was a scam or a pozi scheme. You can see by how they talk about networking and recruiting people. This is exactly what Regalcoin has done in 2017.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is right time for investment ? on: July 03, 2023, 09:25:48 AM
If it's a small amount, it's okay to invest in the early sales stage. But if it's money that you can't afford then don't take the risk. This is a tough choice for those of us who are struggling to make money but I prefer something certain with low risk. Unless I have earned a reward or bonus from where I work then I will take a little risk to invest in a new project.
867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think on: July 03, 2023, 08:55:19 AM
1. Is this a good time to build crypto portfolio?
2. Do you really think that bear market will be a dipping as 2018?

1. Anytime is a good time to buy your assets. You can do as Ratimov did at this link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5454830.0

Although I can't fully replicate what he has done, I am amazed at the concept and the way he invests in cryptocurrencies.

2. Secondly, I don't think that way. It's not like 2018 where there have been a lot of scams and frauds from projects with borrowed concepts like REgal and Davor. I believe the market will go down but it won't be as severe as 2018.
868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to buy BNB? on: July 03, 2023, 08:49:23 AM
I have bought some BNB because I believe they will prevail against the SEC Lawsuit. This is my personal opinion and of course I am prepared for this risk. But there is nothing wrong with betting on your own choice. Maybe XRP has experienced the same thing but they don't have a big exchange market like Binance. This will make the difference in price and development between XRP and BNB.
869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How quick do altcoins pump in bull run? on: July 03, 2023, 08:40:40 AM
Just wondering for those who were in the last bull run what it was like and how fast prices pump during the peak bull times?

There is no such thing as peak bull times. If you see the price has doubled or tripled I think it's a good time to sell your asset. There is no exact theory about it. But I believe next year we will enter the bull season.
870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How to get a future airdrop of 5080000 SHM from the Shardeum/Shardus projects on: July 03, 2023, 08:28:03 AM

There is no recent activity or updates from their website. It says they will launch the betanet demo in February but it's already July but they seem very late to update their website.
This makes me think about their sincerity in developing the project. For me, small things like notifications appearing on the home page of the website have an impact on the user experience.
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance 11th LUNC burn: 2.65 billion tokens destroyed on: July 03, 2023, 08:16:25 AM
I believe it will not change any results or restore people's trust in LUNC. That amount will not be enough to cover the price destruction of LUNC. I think the thing to do is to solve the current problem and even then I think it is impossible to do.
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to borrow ETH to buy BTC? on: July 02, 2023, 08:00:27 AM
Borrowing ETH to buy BTC? I've never heard of anything like it. Think someone will lend us their ETH then we buy BTC with it? How to get profit with it? How much interest is requested by the borrower? How can you be so bold as to borrow something volatile and then buy something else volatile?
I think borrowing money from a bank or someone to just buy Crypto is a high risk thing.
Of course you don't want the money you borrowed to disappear because you suffered a loss on your trade, right?
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best NFT marketplaces? on: July 02, 2023, 07:37:31 AM
Honestly nothing better than Opensea. Why are you trying to find another alternative? Maybe the fees at Opensea are a little expensive but it's worth it for the security and facilities they offer.
Until now I know NFTs from Opensea and I never thought about looking for another NFTs market.

But it's fine if you want to experiment. Because markets that are not yet popular usually have quite attractive offers  Grin
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from crypto influencers on: July 02, 2023, 07:10:07 AM
I've seen some Influencers on Youtube or TikTok and I saw how they promote coins. Seriously They sound very convincing. But if we listen carefully it sounds like someone who doesn't know anything about Crypto. It's very funny and ironic. When those of us who have learned about Crypto are affected by the words of Influencers who don't understand Crypto well.
Most of them are paid in dollars rather than the coins they promote. I've seen something like this.
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recommend me altcoin to DCA till halving on: July 02, 2023, 07:00:29 AM
I can't recommend you a coin under $100 for DCA. Because if doing DCA I better invest in top coins on coinmarketcap like BTC, BNB, ETH or Ripple. Because what you are doing is not betting or day trading for profit.
It's unfortunate if you DCA a new coin and then you lose a lot of your dollars just because you chose to avoid a $100 coin.
876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 4 Altcoins to look at in 2023 on: July 02, 2023, 06:36:38 AM
I don't agree with Avalanche. Even though there is an Amazon name that has participated but that will not change that Avalanche will not experience significant changes.
This is my personal opinion. Of course there will be many choices of what they will take in the next bull season but I agree with the other 3 options you have given.
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yield farming vs Staking on: July 02, 2023, 06:21:09 AM
I used to do yield farming and staking. Both are good things in my opinion. But I prefer staking because I am a long term investor. But I've also made very good APY from Yield farming. And Yield farming is also more flexible than staking because you are free to determine when you will take your assets back.
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats going on with Bitcoin Cash BCH? on: July 02, 2023, 06:06:28 AM

If you look at the chart, BCH is currently experiencing a significant decline. This is not surprising as BCH is one of the big coins in recent years. Currently their trading volume has fallen by 50% which indicates that their prices are deliberately inflated by certain parties.

And if you look at the round-the-clock charts, you can see that BCH is still way below their ATH. And I don't think BCH is still worth watching if it hasn't touched $500.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin for bitcoin on: July 02, 2023, 05:51:03 AM
Creating a stable coin for an unstable coin (BTC)? I can't think of how something like that could have happened. Logically, how do people buy Bitcoincash? Are you using BTC or dollars? If using dollars, then what is the price of Bitcoincash when the price of Bitcoin goes up or down? Ultimately Bitcoincash is a flawed system in my opinion.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be a trap? on: June 25, 2023, 03:43:10 PM
I've never heard of a bear trap. I've heard of bear season or bull season. But what has happened in crypto trading is what cannot be predicted. There is no theory about how the market will move. But I am not a market analyst. Let me know if what I have thought was a mistake.
