You're right because hoping too high sometimes turns to nothing and its annoying when you promote bounty projects very hard just to make sure that you can receive payment after all but in return there is nothing. All your hardworks turns into nothing. But tge truth also,once you joined bounty program you do not know if this project will succeess or not,if the project pay the hunters at the end or not. All you have is hope,hope ,hope that they will pay and give your part.

You know Volatility is the nature of bitcoin that makes it valuable. Volatility of bitcoin also the reason why many people use it as asset and investment because through bitcoin volatility many people continue to gain more profit. I don't think bitcoin is a safe haven currency because it can steal also by the hackers. Bitcoin and Ethereum is not the coins or currency. Difference in value,uses and volume. So it has also a different numbers of demands in the market that's why they are not same in growth.
