At the moment there is only a handful of technologies that claim to be able to achieve this, each in very different ways. A lot of the new coins being released, including some of the direct clones of BoostCoin and also claiming to be 'adding' it, i suppose time will tell... I want to say once and for all that i am experimenting with features in BoostCoin at the moment. But as you can appreciate this is a very new technology with virtually no information available on the internet to help the development process along. And being the only coder on the team only make this process even more difficult. At this stage i cannot guarantee that these new features will work correctly and can also say they wont be ready to release for a long time. Not until all these technologies mature and prove themselves. It's best to have a proven technology, that to release something crap that will make us crash and burn! At the end of the day i love developing stuff, and learning new technologies along the way, but this is more of a journey rather than a destination. and i'm glad to be a part of this Mining BoostCoinToday the Proof of Work phase will end for BoostCoin which means there will be no more direct mining the coin. But the idea of multipooling BoostCoin so that your x13 hashing power can still be utilised is a great idea, I would like some suggestions from the community on how we could best achieve this. Proof of Stake (PoS)Dont forget to keep your wallets online and and unlocked for the PoS staking to work and for you to get the 10% annual interest good job man...i kinda agree with the other dude about using funds to get someone in to help with the coding. Things that everyone can and should be doing... - keep voting on Mintpal - Get in the Poloniex Trollbox. constantly mentioning BOST in the troll box keeps the whales interested. They are only interested in 1 thing "Money!" if they see a buzz around a coin they will pump it! - Also dont forget, there are many other exchanges out there such as Swisscex, Cryptsy etc... Dont just rely on the very fickle Mintpal!, They recently listed Information Coin! Look how well that worked out for them! The PoW is about to end, there is still about 210,000 BOST in the foundation to keep this project ongoing. Lets keep it positive people |

mammix2 wake up !!!!! If you do not announce Anonymous features, this coin will die  I am very awake, always watching. As ive said before i am looking into Anonymous transaction features, but it's not something that can be added with just a few lines of code. Its a very difficult and new technology that no coin has fully implemented yet. BOST will be coming our of PoW very very soon. We've just added the faucet, trying to get a dice game on board so things are very active right now Unlike some other Dev's i'm here to stay and keep this project alive. Markets get played all the time, its normal, and everyone should be rallying around getting the markets interested, instead of relying on the dev to do all of it... |

Hi guys, can please someone help me? I have opened my boostcoin wallet after a few days and it won't sync, it saiz 0 active connections to boostcoin network... I am new to all this mining staff...

no worries Firstly try this 1) Close the wallet 2) navigate to %appdata%\BoostCoin 3) delete your 'peers.dat' file 4) restart the wallet, it should re-sync If it does not sync again try this... 1) start the wallet 2) close the wallet 3) navigate in windows to %appdata%\BoostCoin 4) create a file in the %appdata%\BoostCoin folder called 'boostcoin.conf' 5) edit the boostcoin.conf file and add the following addnode=boost.suprnova.cc
addnode=boost2.suprnova.cc
Please note that both of these addresses will only be valid until the end of the PoW phase, after that they might be taken offline.. If any 'addnode' addresses are needed after the PoW phase i will up date the OP with an official list |
