The network mine a block every 17 minutes !
It will take 24 Days at current hashrate to reach the diff retarget ! by the way, the hashrate still continue to drop !

I would'nt make network rate my biggest concern. Look at MNC, they dealt with 15 MH/s for a loong time, and after their long awaited blockchain patch fork, they are still only at like 50 MH/s today. Phenix has the best potential out of most of the altcoins. Only a couple out there are pouring talent into their community. I wouldn't sweat it. The dev just needs to take his time watching what needs to be done then releasing a well timed patch that corrects diff re-targeting. When the services come, the value goes up.. and so does the profitability. |

We really need more miners now, because the network is really slow : 15 min > per block
And the only think that would bring miner to phenixcoin is profitability on coinwarz/coinchoose. Now, the profitability is @ 48.51 % which is really bad.
at this speed, difficulty retarget will take 20 fucking days ! and I think more and more miners will leave and let us with < 50 MH/S and difficulty retarget will take longer ( > 20 days) .
To encourage mining :
On My pool, I reward miners who find block with 1 pxc extra reward ( already given 468 pxc). URL in my signature.
PXC has nothing to worry about. You guys have great services coming out and a lot of talent on hand. Now if you were a coin like maybe PowerCoin or something, then your near future success would be based solely on mining. No worries; Phenix will come out strong. |

Looks like WDC daily production is too big for it's buying support... it just stucked at around 0.00014 and doesn't move from there.

Still doing more testing, but it looks like we are getting about 90% or more of estimated returns. We concluded the 60% number when the difficulty was at it's early phases. (hence a lot of variance, orphans, stales etc.)

Why? uhh can you find anyone accepting worldcoins? No. Also the creator owns half the supply so once they are worth anymoney the creator will sell his stash and call it quits. We have been mining WDC at over 90% efficiency. It's not a static 60% efficiency, it is based on the current network rate, which must be 400%x what it is now to achieve only 60% efficiency. We have not had 60% efficiency since the first week of its release and everyone was mining it. The calculation would have to be dynamic, and 40% off is way to dramatic to be a temporary adjustment. And if this is the case, we must follow suit with other new coins that now show orphans since that their network rates are now higher. http://dgc.p2pool.nl/stats/http://wdc.p2pool.nl/stats/I believe the only fair way to do this, would be to either temporarily adjust it more accurately and realistically (90%) or to code it using a dynamic calculation. |

port forwarding didn't work for me, neither did the addnodes options. I had to download the peers.dat file in order to get it to sync up again. yay coin of the future. Silver, just wanted to make sure if you haven't patched the pool, ask erundook about it. I think it was just an exploit for the stratum software that litecoin folk detected. Later Also, looks like the pool distribution monitor is helping spread some hashes to you guys! Cool beans. |
