861  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kraken members need to generate new bitcoin and tether addresses for deposits on: October 27, 2017, 06:27:35 AM
I received the email too, i think everyone did? anyways i always generate a new address before depositing, i use each bitcoin address only once. Wink
862  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info Bitcoin Gold on: October 27, 2017, 06:24:02 AM
blockchain.info hasn't made an official statement on the Bitcoin Gold fork, have they? I assume they're going to do the same thing they did with Bitcoin Cash, but who knows.

Looks like Bitcoin Gold continues to tank, so maybe they'll not bother with it?
I think they might set up a way to claim bitcoin gold, it might take some time though.. or one can export private keys and claim btg once there's a btg wallet.
863  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How do I make a VCC that works with digital ocean and so on... on: October 26, 2017, 06:36:36 PM
I have some methods. I can send it to you. If it works you can pay me a few $$. Just Pm me your email so I can forward it to you.
You can post it here openly instead or create a new thread, if people find it useful/working, they'll send you few BTCBTC. Wink
864  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: "BitGo instant" not instant anymore? on: October 26, 2017, 05:57:55 PM
I have some BTC in BitGo because it has instant and free deposits to Kraken. Today I was trying to deposit to the exchange and naturally, since the transactions are supposed to be instant with multisig I chose the slowest confirmation option. This used to be instant, but today my transactions are yet to confirm.
Hmm, it should be instant! kraken haven't yet stopped using bitgo service, in the email they said, one can deposit to bitgo address till 30th october. did you generate a new bitcoin address and did a deposit? they might be using normal bitcoin address, if you generated a new one.
865  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin can drop 2000$ before end of this year on: October 26, 2017, 05:39:42 PM
I do not see this happening, in fact I don't really expect to see bitcoin fall below $5k before the year end but that is far more feasible, only some doomsday scenarios would lead to a price of under 2k.
I think below $5k might happen then bounce back up(would definitely buy more if price goes below $5k Grin). $2k is highly unlikely, i wouldn't bet on it.
866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any tricks available in gambling to won the bet? on: October 26, 2017, 05:01:42 PM
Any tricks available in gambling to won the bet?
Only trick I know is the one from sports betting where you do something called arbitrage betting. No matter what the outcome of the match you'll always end up winning or making profit. This is hard to pull off because some sportsbook don't allow these type of gamblers in their casino. Lastly there are promotions where you could join to increase your chances of winning bitcoin from gambling.
Yeah, it's hard to do arbitrage betting, most sportsbooks don't allow it as you said. they might even ban you if they found out that you were arbitraging. so be careful!

Can anyone explain me about arbitrage betting. Is it a trick or skill?

If you guys are posting your usernames wishing to be credited some bits on SafeDice I think you don't know how SD works.
I don't think there's such a giveaway. You may try registering on SD and, if mods are around, ask for a small tip.

Every single of them may be some abuser or may be account farmer which need to get as high as rank they can. To boost it, they need to get more posts so please ignore them since everyone know there is some giveaway on games tab, they should posted it there in case some big event coming on their site which is not for now
Whenever i see such posts i report it mods, they take care of it. Wink just reported that one!
869  Economy / Gambling / Re: WHEEL99.COM >> Win up to 99* // 1% house edge on: October 26, 2017, 01:56:28 PM
Just tried this out with the giveaway you have for 99 free bits. What I can say is that I really like it, it's highly addictive and with the fast pace that it has just makes it even better.

I'll continue gambling on there when I'm bored. Hopefully you'll add different variations for it in the future, as I think this is a game that could just explode and take the community by storm!

(Decided to post here rather than in your newly created thread as you should not double post about the same thing).

Yes, you are right.

I have no idea how we end up with 2 threads here?
I thought we had a thread here and in the games & rounds sub-forum.

Sorry@mods, you can close one.

Just lock this thread or other one. i think locking option is shown when you click on additional options.
870  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: XAPO TRANSFER STILL PENDING AFTER SEVERAL HOURS, NO TRANS ID, NO TRANS HASH on: October 25, 2017, 04:20:26 PM
I'm not sure if the seller would be ok to share his BTC address here, but I already checked in blockchain.info and it has 0 transactions.

I contacted yesterday to the "support" staff, and today they sent me this text:

"Thank you for being a valued Xapo user! Being a bitcoin company, it is standard procedure to analyze transactional activity. That being said, we wanted to let you know that your recent transaction is on a temporary hold while it is being analyzed. In the meantime, you can transfer funds between your Xapo wallets and will be informed regarding the state of this transaction within the next 48 business hours!

We apologize for the inconvenience of this routine check. But certainly thank you for your patience and understanding as this is for your security purposes!

All the best,
The Xapo Team"

This is ridicolous! This time is costing money to me!
That's why you should stop using/storing bitcoins on wallets like xapo/coinbase or on exchanges. i never faced delays like these, it's your money you should hold the private keys, use wallets like mycelium, electrum, copay.

You can speed up the process by complaining on twitter/reddit or whatever they're on. Tongue
871  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A decentralised marketplace for computing on: October 25, 2017, 03:30:06 PM
Well, there's no decentralized hosting/computing yet, maybe in 2018 there will be one or two. i'm keeping an eye on sonm and substratum, these two projects really interest me.

It would actually be great to have a cloud server offering its services in return of Bitcoin. Maybe there are already such services accepting Bitcoin but i have never seen one. The time when i used to use VPS, i did not know anything about Bitcoin, and i used to just try the services with trials and never bought one, but now when i know about Bitcoin, in fact, i have Bitcoin, if there will be a platform that would offer them accepting Bitcoins, i would love to use them in future if needed.

Same here, I haven't seen anyone yet that accepts bitcoin. I used a lot of VPS services since 2009 with my different project before, so I would really appreciate if there's someone out there accepting bitcoin as mode of payment.

There's a couple of VPS hosters that accept Bitcoin, however they are not all necessarily cheap.

Yohost.org -- Privacy focused hosting, rather expensive option.

Namecheap.com -- Mostly known for selling domains, but also offers VPS hosting, amongst other things.

Bithost.io -- DigitalOcean reseller that accepts BTC. Supposedly closely related to DigitalOcean, but you'd have to take Bithost's word for that I guess. Cheapest option.

Yohost and Namecheap are not exactly flexible in their billing, as you can't just spin up an instance for an hour and just be billed that and nothing more. We could definitely need more flexible cloud hosting providers that accept crypto.
I heard vultr is also accepting bitcoin.
872  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: XAPO TRANSFER STILL PENDING AFTER SEVERAL HOURS, NO TRANS ID, NO TRANS HASH on: October 25, 2017, 03:04:32 PM
How much time does it normally take? Should I cancel the transaction and make a new transaction in the app?
You cannot cancel a BTC transaction, once the transaction is broadcasted to network there's no way to cancel it. can you post the address you sent the coins to? you can obtain transaction id/hash from any block explorer(if tx was sent).
873  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | Most Popular & Trusted | 111+ BTC Jackpot! on: October 25, 2017, 12:48:46 PM
like to know how to qualify for this giveaway.

thanks!
Looks like everyone wants to know this. Grin  it'll will be announced soon i guess. hope i get/win a primedice t-shirt!
874  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice ICO on: October 25, 2017, 11:34:36 AM
Why would Primedice need to ICO? According to dicesites.com they should have nearly 22k coins in holding (assuming 1% house edge - I guess some expenses though). That's a lot now days..
Primedice doesn't need an ICO. this thread was created just to know, how much will be raised if there was an ICO.

If Primedice (And I guess its 2nd product www.Stake.com) was to ICO (Which they never will) what do you think it'd raise?

Considering Bitdice & Betking raised 5 million+ and there are relevant stats on wagered at www.dicesites.com

I think it'd be pretty crazy!

think they would raise approximately same figures, maybe less due to the ICO market saturation
but do you really need an ICO?
its done when you require funds for bankroll, new features, improvements that you can't finance otherwise
Primedice and Stake are doing just fine, imho
but you can always try and see what happens
I think primedice would raise a lot more(maybe x5 more than betking/bitdice), primedice is the top dice site. Roll Eyes
875  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINROYALE.COM • Provably Fair • 1 BTC Bonus • 10% Casino Rebate on: October 25, 2017, 07:48:08 AM
I was lucky this afternoon at Video poker.

The best was the instant withdrawal.

I requested over 6 bitcoins and it was sent in less than a few seconds.

Here is my biggest and most lucky win.

Who asked both of you to post your username in this thread? I do not see any promos from CoinRoyale that requires to post username in this thread. If there is a promo, they will make separate thread because it is not allowed to do giveaway here.

I've seen these newbies posting their username on other threads as well, they're just spamming. i reported to moderator, they'll clear it up i guess.
876  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: October 24, 2017, 06:40:02 PM
Who kept their bitcoin in fortunejack during hard fork today? I had some bitcoin in fortunejack during bitcoin gold hardfork today and I don't think fortunejack gonna credit bitcoin gold in players account if they have some bitcoin at the time of fork.

Anyway I am not worried about those bitcoin gold which might never get successful even after they will launch their wallet on Nov with premined bitcoin gold.  Grin Grin

Right now Bitcoin gold is trading at 0.07btc each on yobit. Which means its just 7% of the value of bitcoins. Likely this will crash more in the coming days like how bitcoin cash crashed. I don't think too that this will be relevant in a few weeks too. There is really little point to get it unless you have like thousands of bitcoins to maximize the profit you get from trying to get the bitcoin gold.
Lol btg fell down to bcc level, it won't survive.

fortunejack is a casino which mean they only concern about their service for gambling purposse and usually exchanges sites who offering split for bitcoin after hardfork and i never hearing that there is a casino who decide to take a part of hardfork and give bitcoin cash or even bitcoin gold

Well actually safedice credited bcc to their users account and they will credit btg soon. if people really want these forked coins they should withdraw before the fork.
877  Economy / Gambling / Re: mBet.io new Sportsbook Looking for Feedback 100 Free MBT's to Test the System on: October 24, 2017, 11:53:59 AM

Do we really have to fill in our name, address etc.. on sign up page? bitcoin bettors(or i  Tongue) don't like to fill out everything out there in the sign up form, maybe you should remove all the unnecessary fields lol. i prefer a simple registration form/page. Smiley

Our registration is just an email and a password.  No further details required.
Oh, okay. why not remove unnecessary fields then or add (*) for necessary/required field. i'll register now and give my feedback after testing/playing. Smiley

Please let us know when Bitcoin Gold will be available to withdraw.
I would like to personally thank thesourc3 for being so helpful in the last weeks. This new way of dealing with investors/players will slow pay off.
All of you noticed that investments are going up again.....

Yep, last time i checked the total invested in SD was around 186 BTC and now it's 215 BTC! people are coming back to SD, nice. Wink

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere. I can not find it. What has Coinbase said about supporting Bitcoin Gold?
A simple google search led me to this link(https://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/2892196-bitcoin-gold-faq). you should improve your googling skill, it'll help you a lot lol.
