My colleagues and I have difficulty bringing professional exchanges and a few upcoming crypto projects to advertise on the forum because of non-sensical ratings left by a few bad actors, as discussed at length on the Reputation boards.

The moment you wrote this you destroyed every chance, assuming there was any, of theymos intervening in this, bringing in the financial aspect in a way that resembles at least bribery if not worse is the bulletproof way to make him ignore this. If indeed Theymos does something like this only because the forum "is losing money"  it will probably be in the same moment he lets ICO again advertise on the forum and introduces mandatory KYC.

Oh, and have fun deleting this, I'm pretty sure theymos is a fan of deleting opinions and he will rank your request higher in his to-do list the more you try to silence the ones that don't agree with you.

Gainful work is considered a noble pursuit across all cultures and human civilizations except for a bizarre minority of trust fund babies and other self-entitled welfare specialists who somehow think it should be beneath them to earn a living.

Your comment doesn't make any sense whatsoever, but I'm delighted to leave it to demonstrate to the community here how pretentious and removed from reality some veteran members of this forum have gotten...

ps. in all of my threads, only blatant derailing attempts by the usual gang of trolls are deleted, and I have introduced some of the most politically incorrect and controversial topics to this community, so I hope you can be more fair in your assessments.

Default Trust skandallarıyla ilgili admin'e yönelik yeni bir başlık (sirke dönmüş forumu iyileştirmek için muhtemelen son çağrım), ilginizi çekebilir:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5262249.0

866  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Blacklist Request] the Neg Rating Spammer Defamatory Troll ~JollyGood on: July 15, 2020, 10:40:59 AM

In my opinion (which you even translated), this feedback should be neutral. To quote Mahatma Gandhi: “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”.

Your guide to trust system is for absolute beginners and is lacking in many ways, I'm using the trust system to maximize the utility and intellectual strengths of Bitcointalk. You lost all credibility when you didn't speak out once against all the bullshit ratings left against me many months ago.

I also thought you were better off with the "moral highground" of leaving neutral feedback for the past 6 months, whether that was working or not, but that's up to you. You could of altenativey left neutral feedback highlighting the fact that JollyGood is somewhat indiscriminately tagging users who endorsed your services, but you didn't either.

Agreed.

Blacklisting isn't a solution, Lauda already proved that by gaining DT2 inclusion with negative DT1 strength (a feline loophole). I realise you are also suggesting a "revamp" of the DT system, but within your post your only suggestion is blacklisting. This is why I said the topic is utterly pointless, it's redundant of any useful proposal. I hope that's the on-topic constructive criticism you were looking for anyway.

Blacklisting lauda was one of the best decisions admin gave in years, you should have seen how much panic it caused among the DT1 cultists, they almost had a collective heart attack realizing that their fat salaries might be in danger soon Grin, alas @theymos made a very elementary mistake, the blacklist was only for DT1, not for the whole DT (or perhaps he caved into peer pressure or was instructed to make it only a half measure by his boss, that's open to debate).

And you are right the whole DT needs a revamp, first of all a forum member shouldn't be penalized, coerced or outcast just for casting his vote, you cannot encourage people to vote and then try to invalidate them because they don't agree with the corrupt, hypocritical nature of DT1.

Picture this, most members in the Turkish local have wiped their trust lists because they are afraid of suchmoon, foxpup, etc. excluding them, marlboroza writing "ban requests" against them, jolly ninja leaving red trust against them, and LoyceV sneakily social engineering to invalidate them from the forum... This resembles more slavery in ancient Rome than a "decentralized democracy".

867  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Blacklist Request] the Neg Rating Spammer Defamatory Troll ~JollyGood on: July 15, 2020, 07:46:40 AM

this topic is utterly pointless as I said before.

no, Bitcointalk is gradually becoming "utterly pointless" in the eyes of the greater crypto space because of failed dystopian experiments and their blind followers.

This thread is merely attempting to turn this forum into a more relevant platform again, and I simply would like to have business interests here. I couldn't care less whether on some isolated philosophical level a crude, decentralized, open-ballot democracy should work in keeping order and meritocracy or not;

for all the intents and purposes of this forum, it doesn't, that has been proven to be certain beyond a shadow of doubt at least in the current deeply flawed DT format where everyone who actually wants to use the system gets instantly chastised and manipulated by the "old guard" who are incentivized to do so with salaries (unlike the vast majority of the community who would otherwise be able to form the long sought after public conscience), so please don't derail this topic with nonsense pseudo-philosophical sentiments...

869  Economy / Reputation / [Blacklist Request] the Neg Rating Spammer Defamatory Troll ~JollyGood on: July 14, 2020, 11:31:27 PM
Despite warnings and even advice to the contrary by the "old guard" running DT1, the troll known as JollyGood continues to defame many innocent members with his false negative rating spree,

repeatedly lies to call me a "scammer" and bases many of his spam neg. ratings on this absolute falsehood and similar false accusations.

Below is a copy of the letter I sent to admin about him, he is causing us and Bitcointalk some problems in ad revenue, and I hope gets blacklisted asap so that this broken forum can attempt to get back on track.

I also consider it an absolute disgrace for the brand value and prestige of Bitcointalk, that in the light of this ongoing debacle, no one from Default Trust even deigned to exclude this ninja troll from their trust list so far despite overwhelming evidence that he is grossly incompetent and exhibits the judgement skills of a toddler...

I would also be curious to hear from a philosophical perspective, why admin and staff still refuse to take any action to improve a provably damaged DT system that cannot self-correct some of its glaring flaws over more than a period of 1.5 years now, when @theymos mentioned many times that he reserves the right to blacklist and intercede as necessary.

Hi theymos & Cyrus,

I hope you guys are doing well.

My colleagues and I have difficulty bringing professional exchanges and a few upcoming crypto projects to advertise on the forum because of non-sensical ratings left by a few bad actors, as discussed at length on the Reputation boards.

There is a community consensus that irrational members who have provably bad judgement are now deep DT1 because some people like to use them as hitmen...

You need to step in and revamp the DT so that grossly incompetent people with ulterior motives cannot cause financial damage because of their petty spiteful reasons.

Please have a look:

just one example from troll ~jollygood's neg rating spam:

Last month I has my 78th birthday ...

Obviously I have a lot of friends who are over sixty, and not many seem to be able to understand the concept of virtual assets, even when I cite the examples of stories, and fiat currencies.

Happy belated birthday  Smiley, have there been any friends of yours whom you were able to successfully introduce to the world of crypto currencies,

and if so what methods were the most persuasive ?..

~jollygood

Dear Admin & Staff,

The ninja jollygood is a radical islamist imbecile of 99% Middle Eastern origin,

and his entire vendetta with the Turkish section is predicated on the fact that the modern members there have easily seen through his retrogressive reactionary nature and outed him (please check pg. 112 of the Default Trust Meta thread for reference).

He is trying to deceive some politically correct snowflakes of the western world here with his ridiculous "jolly good boy" act in order to earn some pennies outside the confines of the law, but sooner or later law enforcement should smoke him out from whichever hole he has crawled under...

For the sanity and robustness of this forum, ~jollygood should belong on everyone's ignore and distrust list.

Warm Regards

875  Economy / Reputation / Re: Vispilio: Merit Source Scammer Offering A Deal For His Feedback To Be Revised on: July 09, 2020, 11:46:07 AM
the level of gossip and intrigue in this forum now rivals those of wild South American tele novellas.

My one time offer to an NPC pest like you is merely an attempt to save time on occasionally having to address you here because some extremely naive or complicit members have made the mistake of adding you to their trust lists...

@theymos and staff, you are well aware that most intelligent people would come and take one glance at ninjas like ~jolly and ~lauda, and after discovering that they are part of Default Trust here, would abandon this forum to never take it seriously again until they are completely stripped of any representative privileges, make of it what you will...

and with these changes I encourage people to try to "bury the hatchet" and de-escalate rather than trying to use any increased retaliatory power you now have. Also, it's best to make your own custom list, and you must do this if you want to be on DT1.

I am never completely tied to anything, but let's try this for at least a few months and see how it works.
876  Economy / Reputation / Re: To all DT1 members | Interesting negative feedback from JollyGood! on: July 09, 2020, 10:13:20 AM
Vispilio is a compulsive liar and a fantasist ...

Nonsense. Most kids beyond age 10 typically have already figured out that "but Jimmy did it too" doesn't let them off the hook.

This thread has all the proof one needs to demonstrate to the admin that they need to interfere and revamp the whole DT system if they want to save the greatly damaged Bitcointalk.

A cursory glance at the writings of most of these "deeply entrenched" DT1 cultists should be enough to convince any unbiased observer that their discourse and reasoning skills are worse than your average high school debates club,

and the vast majority of Bitcointalk community seems incapable of voting qualified people into positions of authority; they only know how to elect their nepotist friends with politically correct and familiar voices...
877  Economy / Reputation / Re: To all DT1 members | Interesting negative feedback from JollyGood! on: July 09, 2020, 04:15:58 AM
I'm the only one who currently has red trust out of maybe hundreds of members who promoted Yobit,

Besides being a useless fallacy (all or nothing is not a prerequisite for trust ratings), it's also a lie. wolwoo got one too as did some other Yobit scam deniers.

for your personal education it IS a prerequisite for all universal laws of morality and ethics, only a bloodsucking cultist would be more interested

in keeping her corrupt DT game intact to the exclusion of all rational discourse...  Roll Eyes
878  Economy / Reputation / Re: To all DT1 members | Interesting negative feedback from JollyGood! on: July 09, 2020, 03:43:10 AM
Also while the topic is hot, I have to point out here that ~jollygood ninja also left me the granddaddy of all ridiculous feedbacks around the beginning of this year (depicted below from his trust page)...

That rating is factual and supported by the reference so there is nothing particularly wrong with it. If you don't like it that doesn't make it invalid. On the other hand your retaliatory rating about "deficient morals" doesn't make much sense.

you are clearly incapable of an iota of rationality suchmoon, and frankly far more harmful than jolly ninja to this forum.

I'm the only one who currently has red trust out of maybe hundreds of members who promoted Yobit,

where is the red trust of all the other participants including the campaign manager (who did an excellent job by the way), doesn't the stench of #doublestandards and #hypocrisy disgust everyone here ?..

It's all so petty and corrupt, I don't even give a fuck actually, you should know that you and a few of your corrupt cultist friends are an embarrassment to the legacy of Bitcoin with your insane nepotism and total lack of morals... Get well.
879  Economy / Reputation / Re: To all DT1 members | Interesting negative feedback from JollyGood! on: July 09, 2020, 03:16:37 AM
Also while the topic is hot, I have to point out here that ~jollygood ninja also left me the granddaddy of all ridiculous feedbacks around the beginning of this year (depicted below from his trust page)...

his childish reasoning to the tune of "Vispilio carried a Yobit banner and yet has admitted that Yobit also lists a shitcoin of its own" is so unbearably stupid that I'll go douse my fingers in alcohol after having to type its pettiness...

Everyone who has made the horrendous mistake of including jollygood in their trust list should reconsider their decisions, the ninja has a batting average of about 10% in getting these feedbacks right, and it's an insult to both the Bitcointalk community and Trust System to have the likes of him represented as DT1.

Keeping a trigger happy troll on any layer of DT is a sure way to turn the already shunned forum into an even more desolate ghost town, beware:

One of the fundamental requirements for long term and outstanding profitability in trading is the contrarian ability to consistently go against mainstream sentiments and analyses.

One needs to go far beyond textbook prescriptions and academic literature to be able to develop a unique style of trading, and this definitely involves individualistic touches, at least in part...
