622  Economy / Exchanges / Re: why different markets show different movement on the same pair? on: November 13, 2020, 05:45:13 AM
There is no universal abstract perfect price movement for any asset, the charts you see are the tick data printed from exchange based trading activity...

Different exchanges list the same pairs, thus leading to different price action variations on the same underlying.

This is more rare in fiat asset classes because for traditional financial products it's much rarer for dual (or more) listings to occur, and even then usually they don't share the same symbol...
623  Local / Konu Dışı / Re: AMD işlemciler hakkında on: November 12, 2020, 10:52:37 PM

Hard to clarify the issue under all this censorship (which can pass as the overarching theme for this thread in itself: the modern plague of political correctness Wink ),

but it sounds like a spousal support / post divorce situation. Solution is to hide and migrate your assets as much as possible from feminist jurisdictions clearly persecuting men in court,

and ideally to get married only under the laws of more fair and just legal systems.
625  Economy / Economics / Re: Still confused why bitcoin is so bullish? on: November 12, 2020, 08:49:11 PM
You wanna know the real reason?

0 - printers doing brrrr to buy treasury bonds
1- this makes negative real yields on bonds (this push money down)
As of 2017, the size of the worldwide bond market (total debt outstanding) is estimated at $100.13 trillion, 100 trillion is looking for alternative
2- interest on term deposits in banks are close to zero (this push money down)
3- corporate bonds risk of not being paid is bigger than expected ROI (this push money down)
4- inflation and fear of inflation getting bigger and bigger forces people to look for assets that will protect their funds from inflation by accepting even greater and greater risk (because safe assets guarantee a real loss (expected profit - inflation))
5- this push money to real estate makes them super expensive (3-4 % real profit from renting is still not enough to cover inflation)
6- this push money deeper and deeper (stocks and dividend profits) but they are cosmically overvalued and dividends are very small
As of December 31, 2019, the total market capitalization of all stocks worldwide was approximately US$70.75 trillion. so 70 trillion is looking for alternative
7- this push money deeper into very high risk assets (bitcoin) - the profit opportunity is usually better than the loss guarantee - and bitcoin is worth only 300 bil $ so even a small fraction moved from above assets will cause huge pump here.

This pump is not caused by Paypal or halving. Who TF takes care about paypal? We have 100000000 ways to buy crypto. Paypal is only another one. Pump is caused by panicked investors searching for good place to hide from inflation.

“The United States printed more money in June than in the first two centuries after its founding,” Morehead wrote. “Last month the U.S. budget deficit — $864 billion — was larger than the total debt incurred from 1776 through the end of 1979.”
https://cointelegraph.com/news/us-printed-more-money-in-one-month-than-in-two-centuries

"In response to the coronavirus, the Federal Reserve has printed approximately $3 trillion. The total assets of the Federal Reserve as of the end of February 2020 was $4.16 trillion. By the end of July, total assets was $6.95 trillion."
https://medium.com/discourse/do-you-realize-the-massive-amount-of-money-printing-happening-due-to-the-coronavirus-pandemic-1f4347cc0404

Excellent analysis, quoting this to merit later. On top of the reasons above, I can add that PoW is still the most robust mechanism of proof for blockchains,

and in it Bitcoin is the value proposition king with its limited supply and anti-fragile proven blockchain record. Once a crypto successfully integrates a max supply cap system to DPoS or any viable variation of PoS, and passes all the usual stress tests, the competition among top crypto currencies will intensify...

That analogy has nothing to do with the contents of Bretton Woods, by "New Bretton Woods" all that is meant is a moment of supposedly momentous importance for the IMF,

ie a cliche statement from a very lukewarm organization...

631  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [Trump vs Biden] Free Debate Thread, Untainted by Mainstream Propaganda on: November 09, 2020, 01:41:22 PM
It's the first time I've seen a case where both the mainstream media and social media / search engines led by tech giants are so clearly in favor of and partial to 1 candidate and extremely
hostile against another, who happens to be the sitting president by the way Wink

I think that alone speaks volumes and merits a very deep investigation. The first question I would ask: who is the deep dark authority that is giving Silicon Valley such confidence that they have the brazen audacity to censor a sitting US president (while the mainstream media is even just cutting him off mid interview) and so nonchalantly interfere in what was supposed to be Free and Fair elections, by systematically and unanimously working like fanatic Democratic partisans months and years ahead of this election ?..
632  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is the votin ballot pool too contaminated to be counted? on: November 09, 2020, 01:33:23 PM

why didn't you (on the poll)?

Because both are correct, the most sound way is to redo the election but I'm not sure if all the states can improve their electoral systems in good time, and the mail-in situation is a total mess,

on the other hand I think there is enough evidence here to demonstrate fraud and illegal interference by the Democrats, and the electoral college and / or the supreme court (I'm not 100% sure how the legal process is supposed to work in such a case in the USA, perhaps a knowledgeable American citizen can enlighten us) can just rule in favor of Trump for 4 more years...
633  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is the votin ballot pool too contaminated to be counted? on: November 09, 2020, 01:24:01 PM
I believe this election revealed for the whole world that the voting process for some of these US states is completely unreliable and very susceptible to manipulation and errors of all kinds.

I guess even most Americans didn't know that some states allowed for the votes to be corrected, cast again, and volunteers completing the missing parts of some of the ballots, etc., it's amazing that there isn't a federal standard for these procedures.

Also was revealed amidst all the drama that dead people or people with fake ID casting votes was in fact a well known problem in US elections even prior to this one, it's just that the fraud reached such a critical mass in this case that chances are very high that it had a decisive effect on the outcome...

This article tries to put a positive spin on the Medici transition: https://tronblack.medium.com/ravencoin-update-2020-11-03-b3e229ebb880

But you guys are confident RVN will continue its downward spiral ? I picked up this coin because it was at some point very profitable to mine with Nvidia's, but I agree price action is pretty bleak,

It's slightly nauseating that Raven's main selling point now seems to be 'cooperation with Apple' apps, it's one of the weakest statements you can make about your own crypto currency...
635  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Turkey good place for higher studies? on: November 08, 2020, 05:03:00 PM

I think they also have job availability in Turkey now despite of the pandemic. But I'm not Turkish so I'm not really sure. I just based my answer on what I have searched on the internet. Maybe you can do that too and also to check other requirements in order for a foreigner get a job in their country. Good luck.

Turkiye has some good expat jobs, in that the cost of living is super low right now compared to international indices because of the highly depreciating Turkish Lira,

so if you can bring an international skill set that is sought after and get yourself an expat contract, you can save a substantial disposable income while working in Turkiye...

Because most people make the mistake of associating it with the Middle East, it's not desired by many international job applicants, so you might find a niche spot for yourself...

637  Local / Konu Dışı / Re: [Trump vs Biden] 3. ve Son 2020 Başkanlık Münazarası on: November 08, 2020, 01:26:12 AM

638  Local / Konu Dışı / Re: [Trump vs Biden] 3. ve Son 2020 Başkanlık Münazarası on: November 08, 2020, 01:13:18 AM

Crooked "democrat" ~suchmoon deleted my outsider's point of view,

so here is a new thread to analyze the US elections circus:

*******************************************************************************

One tweet to sum this debacle all up, and it's very concerning for what world politics and state vs constituency relations have become (or perhaps it was always a total farce and only now in the information age, people know for certain)

1) The president of the currently leading nation on Earth claims that he has won this election "by a lot"

2) An American Tech company, as it has selectively done so on many other occasions (and like many others of its kind), immediately censors his free speech with a tag and continues to assume a very partial role in what's supposed to be "Free and Fair" elections

3) Almost the entirety of western mainstream media, amidst tremendous controversy regarding vote counts and mail-in ballots, and despite the Republicans already employing every legal means to contest the results, continue to act like Biden has won under the most normal circumstances...

640  Local / Konu Dışı / Re: [Trump vs Biden] 3. ve Son 2020 Başkanlık Münazarası on: November 07, 2020, 05:36:18 PM
