Deletion based solely on someone being a retarded nitwit flies against what I thought this thread was all about... attempting to clear the trash out of the WO.

If they can't spout their BS here they'll continue in WO.

So if by "they" you mean anti-vaxxers, and by "trash" and "BS" you mean scientific facts and emerging evidence to support not wanting to take or be coerced into taking the vaccine, then really, why do you care what happens in this thread Jimbo?

I think we already know where you stand, and that you don't think it's worth debating.

Evidence has shifted enough that the infectious disease 🦠 experts of the cdc voted 🗳 15-0 to not push or recommend booster vax for under 65 unless you have a known condition .

Yet they were overruled by the cdc chief to require/ recommend the booster vax at six months to all over 21 .

Fact not fiction.

so it appears backing off on the vax for younger healthy people is what 15 doctors recommended yet ignored.

In general I am a pro vax guy, but time after time looks like this vax is for a guy like me.

A 64 year old slightly over life long asthmatic with type 2 diabetes. Not a 35 year old in good health.

Worse really for a 10 year old in good health as really young seem to get the worst cases of heart ♥️ inflammation.

Also the 2x johnson is no longer recommended to women of fertile age.

So looks like the best move was no vax and force silver threaded masks on all.

But hey what do I know. Btw I love 💕 going into the bank with a mask and a bandanna over the mask and the bank can’t say shit.

oh and btw i have always liked being in love with the wife. now that she went through three months of double pneumonia followed by 13 months of walking pneumonia and survived it .  Being in love with the wife has upscaled a few levels
which is pretty cool.

Next I will start on how the pandemic has wiped out companies and people in ways that have not been talked about very much at all.

Okay i live in howell nj.

a white low crime christian town.

by white 80%
by christian 80%

howell is 80% vaxed
we border lakewood
a town of 120,000 or so and 100,000 are ultra orthodox jews with a very low vax rate.

some ultra orthodox jewish friends of mine owned a 14movie theater complex in a mall that borders the two towns.

it did good business for eight years. along came covid and the restriction’s by the governor of nj.

that movie theater is done out of business.

now i know many workers out of a job.

Now I heard  the governor of nj state on his youtube channel the 99.2% un vaxed dead and 0.8 % not dead.

and he was still restricting the movie theater at that time.

so if vaxing was safe why did the theater not get open in time .

seems to me that something was amiss here.

I will look for gov murphy conference on youtube.

i wonder if they are still there or if they have gone poof.
8645  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Did Viabtc fail to run the numbers? on: September 28, 2021, 08:13:16 PM
Anyway the entire topic is a moot point isn't it seeing as ViaBTC stopped all their cloud mining in June.

I wasn't aware of that until stompix mentioned it here

Is it irrelevant right now? well, not if you consider it as a general discussion which applies to all other cloud mining services, really the question is (did they stop because their gears were shut down?) or ( because they knew a huge difficulty drop was coming and they would be in deep shit), based on all the facts mentioned above, I can't help but think it's the latter.

Seriously this is such an easy and very profitable business, if you own a mining pool, sell imaginary contracts, once the promised hashrate starts to produce more BTC than you thought possible, terminate the contracts, if the difficulty keeps going up, you are GUARANTEED to make a profit, as easy as it gets.

Once you terminate the contract, if BTC price has gone up since then, compensate the buyers with the same USD value they paid, if BTC price drops, just send them back the equivalent amount of BTC they paid, I am not aware of any other way to make money easier than this risk-free so-called cloud mining.

maybe but they will link you to a cloud mining company

https://www.viabtc.com/companies

and claim they do not 'really' have a connection

Even if they don't really own any of those cloud mining companies, I am pretty sure once the difficulty issues settle down, they will come back with the same contracts again, given how easy it is to profit from this kind of scheme, which is shady at it's best.

This isn't something against Viabtc in particular, this whole thing is just to show you guys that buying a mining contract is almost a guarantee to lose money, I see many people waste thousands of dollars on these contracts only to end up losing money without having a single chance of making money.

you can make money but so many things have to go right or they cancel the contract with the we can fuck you anytime we want to contract.

to actually turn a profit.

a) the diff cant sky rocket
b) the diff cant crash
c) the diff must be very flat for a very long time
d) coin price cant sky rocket
e) coin price cant crash
f) coin price must be very flat for a long time.
g) you must hodl the btc they send to you
h) right near contract end or right after contract end btc must shot up in price.

that is asking for a lot to go right.

other ways are very even and slow price rise along with very even diff rise. pretty much in perfect synchronization so that the cloud company sees no need to cancel.

all of the above are unlikely most cloud contracts get cancelled with the fuck you clause.

no antacid is worthwhile they have bad side ingredients.

powdered calcium in warm distilled  water is milk like in flavor with a bit of chalky mouth feel.

it  is basically a fully purified tums or rolaids antacid tablet in warm liquid form

far better then using pepto bismal or rolaids or tums or any flavored knock off.

it is a patch for relief not a cure. you need to find out why the acid leaks out.

a lot of possible reasons.

No-one likes to hear it but this is the cure.

Not if you are an active diabetic.

The muscle controlling the flap weakens and acid ,bile, pepsin along with capsicum leaks out .  making standard heartburn seem like a relief. actually the reflux i got with hot peppers is one of a few reasons i figured out i had diabetes.

Woke up early 5.00 with acid reflux better now with Gaviscon. Too much rich food and drink yesterday.

...  you may be getting gall bladder over-stressed, common in middle age with carb/sugar-heavy rich western diets

... try digestive enzyme supplement containing cholic acid (bile acids, ox bile) taken with meals

... has also been linked to promoting healthy stomach biome that reduces blood pressure

... Gaviscon is not helping fix the problem it's just masking the symptom for temporary relief, like most Big Pharma products

... also, eat lots more green veges

no antacid is worthwhile they have bad side ingredients.

powdered calcium in warm distilled  water is milk like in flavor with a bit of chalky mouth feel.

it  is basically a fully purified tums or rolaids antacid tablet in warm liquid form

far better then using pepto bismal or rolaids or tums or any flavored knock off.

it is a patch for relief not a cure. you need to find out why the acid leaks out.

a lot of possible reasons.

a lack of enzymes is one reason why.

or a fucked up flap holding in the digestive juices.

or and here is the 10,000 to one shot case that almost killed my wife last year.

she had a surface cyst on her liver that held about 700 ml of fluid this is just under a bottle of wine. while the cyst never leak it got big enough to press on her stomach this forced out both pepsin and acid.  since she had good enzymes she had more pepsin leak then acid.

Thus she walked around with silent acid reflux for maybe 1 or 2 years this partiality digested the interior of her lungs 🫁

which made them subject to infection along came covid and boom 2x pneumonia.

Took 18 months to untangle each and every issue and she survived.

back to the current issue large liver cyst is very rare 1 in 1000
my wifes liver cyst was really big about 1 in 10000.

so the point of the side story is a lot of issues as to why the stomach is leaking acid or pepsin or both.

Stop discussions that leads to a lively debate, I think not. Pussys.

Yo Arrie, we just moved the undesired WO debate over to another thread. What's wrong with that?
This is not the COV Observer, and I'm happy to follow through - for the sake of everybody.

Just don't forget that we also have free will.

+1 this place is full of pussies trying to reassuring themselves on pure wishfull thinking even after Salvador got focked for adopting a crypto lottery like bitcoin (it was obvious)

Don't you think it's a bit hasty, to pass judgement on El Salvador?

That being said they should be scared :

Only the ill-informed are scared. Boo.

~ i wouldn't be surprised if we don't see the legendary november-december bull run this time.

I would. To me, we got the perfect alignment coming up at the end of the year - all things considered. No, this time is not different.
That said, I have one concern and one only. The hash rate.

I didn't even pay attention to the hash rate of 2017, or 2013 for that matter, so it's difficult to make a comparison.
It currently seems to me, that the hashrate that took us from $10k to $60k, is going to be the one that takes us from $40k to whatever multiples of that - let's say $160k in all modesty.

I do not like this if it remains so, but what I do like - is the absence of spam transactions, and on-chain fees outperforming the Lightning network.
I'm fully expecting to witness a huge rise of the hashrate towards the end of the year (250+), so our new ATH is validated.

Don't panic Crypto tourist just make out you are local and hodl.

The word "panic" does not exist in my vocabulary. I might hold on to Bob's penis if I have to, but I do not panic. [you should really see the way I drive, to grasp this]

Wrong in my guess.  I suspect the price will take off like it did in 2017 and the hash rate will trail it.

In 2022 the price will drop back from say 200k to 120k much like 2018 20k to 12k but the hash rate will catch up.

If that happens it won't be different. tehn the jan 2017 to april 2018 cycle.

right now it is still different since the hash rate has not synched up correctly.

Either way you and are are saying the same thing just stretching the timing a bit differently.

BTW I smiled at the Bob's penis joke but do not quite get the imagery or meaning of it. @ nohomo

Accidents like that are why as a responsible Engineer who is well versed in high power distribution I always MUST say that running heavy electric power IS NOT A DIY THING! If you are not a licensed electrician with experience in doing commercial/industrial power then hire one! This safety video on on arc flash was using a 230v 200a panel and very graphically shows what can happen. FF to the 2 min mark for the horrendous fireworks. At 4 min into the vid they test what happens if your PPE is not fireproof... That test was ran with SCC (Short Circuit Current) limited to 10kA - the same level most homes are limited to.

Commercial/industrial panels are usually rated for SCC 100kA or more. Another vid is here where they are using 480V industrial panels.

Nice video's

we have a lot of panels at the farm.  buy the warehouse owner has a high power specialist that does all the heavy wiring.

We have 3 x 240 3 phase panels they do  800 amps max

we have a second room with 11x  30 amp 240 3 phase breakers

I simply leave them alone basically due to movies like you just shown and due to the video by the op.

If they "steal" users hashrate and rent it out via a proxy surly someone would notice this if they are paying attention to their miners?

Pay attention to what miners? Why would they give you access to something that a) probably doesn't exist and b) doesn't need your intervention.

Anyway the entire topic is a moot point isn't it seeing as ViaBTC stopped all their cloud mining in June.

so more than $2.50 a day in ltc for a 3950

I have a 3960 and a 3970 I am away from the rigs but they do a lot more than the 3950  when it comes to xmr

I would guess they will do 4.50 and 5.50 = 10 bucks a day.

I can not get to them until sat.

This would be nice if it lasts a while

I also think I have an idle pair of  3900,s thy could do 2+2 = 4

so maybe 14 a day and burn 1kwatt or less which is about 3 a day in power a net  of 11 bucks a day.

I need to wait till sat to do it. mean while the eth gear is still making coin as is the l3 gear and the sha 256

we expanded our ready power by 8x 30 amp 240 volts  we will add multiple 12 card minerdude servers a total of 4 holding a lot of 3090's and a4000's

each rig pulls close to 1900 watts which means an easy pair on each circuit I think we are past 5gh in eth.

5x a4000 cards on the way
1x 3080 fe
1x 3090

that is about 380 mh more.

For us it is about expansion slowly but surely.

We have a lot of power not tapped

500kwatts in one place at 4 cents not in use

and 35kwatts at 2 cents ready willing and able . plus it can go to 100kwatt more.

the 2 cent spot can do 40 minderdude cases with 5x a4000 and 4x 3090 cards hashing at about 730 mh each.

it is more a question of gear getting adding at the right speed than anything else.
This place should hold a lot more gear by next year.

I will show more minerdude builds soon

8654  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Did Viabtc fail to run the numbers? on: September 28, 2021, 09:46:53 AM
You guys do realize they have the we can cancel at anytime clause.

They are still ahead of the game as I type and you can bet dollars to donuts 🍩 that if it looks shitty for them in six or nine months time they will cancel.

Also they have gone into agreements with bitmain so they could simply have
L7
E10
S19

and they do arbitrage .

Ie you buy a btc contract it is earning 30 dollars for 3400 watts

they fire up an L7 it earns 150 dollars for 3400 watts

all they need is to sell eth ltc/doge btc contracts and juggle the excess gear that is provided to them by bitmain.

so both factors above should be able to wipe their butts clean of the shit.

And you ignored that over 100 million pigs died in china from jan 1 2019 to sept 1 2019 .

most likely explanation is the chinese lab was studying this in wuhan lab and simply had a lab accident.

you also ignore that the Main Stream Media does not talk about this possibility .

Seems to me these two statements above need your exploration.
8657  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Google censored my review of the Wuhan Institute of Virology. on: September 28, 2021, 02:00:12 AM
Look if you follow the timeline to the wuhan lab in fall of 2019 you simply are not going backwards far enough.

In early spring of 2019 China had a huge pig/hog kill off due to an unknown virus.

Wuhan was the nearest lab an did testing to figure out why so many were dying and how to make a vax.

and likely they let it escape with no intention to do that but shit happens.

Now if there is a google conspiracy that means they would censor the pig kill off in 2019.

so to end the argument just google  “chinese pigs die of virus in spring 2019”

no hits mean the op could be right. lots of hits means the op is likely wrong.

google hits on that are in the thousands.

so likely they simply wanted to figure out how to stop it  from doing damage and they fucked up.

Also interesting, after curing said first cold of the season, i began to start each day with a short (1-2min) bath in cold water. Started with 57°F a few weeks ago, now we're currently talking 50°F-ish inside the pool. I will continue this until the water starts freezing, then i plan to got to the lake at least every second morning.
When my fam caught the second cold (two kids still fading out the last symptoms), i felt a bit tired for a day and sneezed some times more than usual, but that was about it.
I also was feeling cold pretty fast in chilled environments, compared to other people, before. Now i tend to run around without a shirt at home and outside in the garden, i seem to not freeze anymore as quickly as in the past. Looking forward to winter with some days of 14-23°F outside.
I read before that these daily, cold baths/showers are said to strengthen the immune system. Also, not being able to do it for just a day already seems to make me miss it.
It has meditation-like qualities, when i exhale and simultaneously let myself sink into the water, down to shoulder level, followed by 10-20, slow and deep breaths, before i get  out and my skin starts to feel hot, only seconds later.

EDIT: Now off to the WO, followed by a healthy, dream-rich #hodlsleep.

okay so since jan 2020 when me and the wife had the covid. no colds for either of us.

since may 2021 when me and the wife had the second flu shot no colds for either of us.

I go to the supermarket three times a week in Howell NJ a shoprite it also serves lakewood nj a town of 125000 ultra orthodox jews they are well under 35% vaxed. I am exposed to the air they breath in shoprite three times a week primarily they are not vaxed or masked as per current nj rules.

in the store now the workers are masked and me. I revel in the masks 🎭 truly joyful I can wear them as often as I want.

but i have had asthma issues since 2 i am now 64

I can go into a bank with a mask on. this real freedom unfortunately many don’t see it that way. my btc partner is wild anti vax and anti mask..  we are still partners and friends.

I have worked at this and can see a lot of good points about anti vaxing in some cases.

6-12 year forced vaxxed is likley wrong and statistically more harmful then no vaxing in that group.

If you are a 64 year old diabetic male 10 pounds over weight that smoked for thirty year get the vax it is likely the better guess.

one more fact not bullshit true fact.

the cdc voted 15 to 0 to not require booster shots if you are under 65 and don’t have a conditional immune issue.

These are doctors that specialize in contagious diseases.

voted 15 to 0 against the booster shots.

they were overruled by thr head of the cdc a doctor that biden can fire at the snap of his fingers.

so the 15 doctors with job protection said no booster.
the boss with no job protection says booster.

that is factual truth no bullshit.

in ny the new gov that replaced pussyhound coumo is going to fire non vaxxed health workers.

in six eight months i am sure she will fire non boosted health workers. - a guess not a fact

i ask any pro vaxer would you approve of this.

I won’t its wrong 15 to 0 vote says its wrong

First off Shame on you for working on a hot panel.

Had to get that out of the way.

Your face healed nicely.

As for hot panel work I did a 220 volt 30 amp circuit move on my right hand .  damn a completely different shock then a 120 volt.

I imagine the panel you  flash arced was a 480 volt 400 amp?

Back to everyone reading learn from him and do not take risks with power.

Thanks again for sharing.

Please post more. You remind me of my shipmate in the navy keith spooner he was from oklahoma.

I no longer do any 220 work other than a few circuits in my own home 🏡 which i triple check to be dead when i work on them.
