8664  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Official CaVirtex.com Thread on: April 10, 2014, 06:26:01 AM
Does this affect the online wallets of virtex as well?
Kind of curious since it is in the news bulletin and not sure how it works with company based wallets
8665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You WISH you could buy with Bitcoin? on: April 10, 2014, 06:21:00 AM
What product or service do you wish was readily available for you to purchase with bitcoin?

What is the biggest barrier you think prevents it now?

I would say insurance based services paid in Bitcoin would be interesting using a distributed escrow contract could withdrawal the funds at the prescribed rate and would not need to worry about it for long periods of time, also can close the contract at any time without being sold to.

Volatility and difficulty in regulations

I remember myself more then 7 months ago, I almost never talked

Only when necessary, I was the kind of guy that rarely says something but everyone listens to him when he does,my words had meaning, they had authority

Then I joined bitcointalk and started replying every thread I see, somehow it gotten into my real life too, I speak much more, I don't like it

I would like to go back to be the person I was earlier

How could I do this?

Resist the urge to talk and find the sig campaign that pays for posting only 50 times a month at a certain rate XD

Well I don't really care either way as long as it is included in unicode but my preference is for this BTC over that B

This just proves my point. You love Google / MS so much that you can't see they too, sell your data. Your also blind to the fact that there are backdoors in the Galaxy series and the Nexus One.
No wonder there are no "bad news" articles about Google/MS. If there were, the poster would be called a fucking idiot.

Or maybe they don't burden of proof is with you when you make accusations Wink
Ok I'll admit they probably do lol
8670  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you think she is pretty? on: April 09, 2014, 10:53:08 PM
Yea, but why you asking ?

Would you consider dating her?

Perhaps as long as I presume there are not any traps involved in this arrangement which reading above their are so RUN AWAY XD
8671  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Say NO to GMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: April 09, 2014, 10:51:19 PM
I agree with that terminator seeds killing other crops so that the corporations and GMO can sell the farmers fertilizer and receive a cut of all their future revenues by forcing them to buy their seeds and nutrients making them dependent on them for their livelihood and at the same time killing their soil quality and bees to boot.

That is pretty hardcore evil right there
Terminator seeds don't kill other crops, they terminate their own reproduction. They're just sterile seeds. Basically the conversation went like this:

"But what if the GMOs reproduce out of control and take over the whole ecosystem? That's terrible!"
"No, it's okay, we can just engineer them so that the seeds are sterile and they can't reproduce. See? Problem solved!"
"But then farmers will have to keep buying seeds! That's terrible!"
"Dammit, is there no pleasing you people?"
"No. No, there isn't."

That's true although they also do not sustain the soil which is why you need to buy more fertilizers and end up with a cycle of dependency on their products in the end.
8672  Economy / Securities / Re: Looking for investment of ~2500 BTC for music festival, return = ~150,000 BTC on: April 09, 2014, 10:48:23 PM
Will this project make twice as much us dollars if the price of bitcoin doubles? Because that's what you'll need to do if the statement in your title is correct.

With this kind of ventures you have to forget about Bitcoin valuation as it is just an investment vehicle. It is a business thought for the fiat world and returns will be in fiat (maybe converted to BTC at the time of payment). You have to decide if you would rather hold the BTC expecting a higher return than the investment in the proposed timeframe.

All other things equal of course and you expect the estimates to be accurate but in this case would call that into question Smiley
8673  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin a buy at these levels? on: April 09, 2014, 10:42:29 PM
In terms of buying at current prices in the 450s with USD through Coinbase. Thoughts?

A good purchase since this is near the end of the bottom in my opinion before it begins another new cycle
8674  Economy / Securities / Re: Neo & Bee talk (spam free thread) on: April 09, 2014, 06:01:36 AM
I can't find any new news about Neo & Bee in local papers.  The news I found are the same as last week, and some even cite this forum as source.  Eg:
http://www.philenews.com/el-gr/top-stories/885/193098/enopion-astynomias-katangelies-gia-neo
However they seem to confirm that the staff has quit.

Makes sense if your not paid for a month and the prospects aren't looking too good you might seek out other work than wait it out
Can't really read the article though since its in another language but believe you
8675  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will plummet to $10 by first half of 2014 on: April 09, 2014, 05:53:58 AM
I love when people predict plummet of a price based on nothing.
In defense of stupidity, much of human history was also baseless. The great civilizations from the past used sheep entrails, or consulted the Oracle of Delphi (who was a drugged up teenager).

True enough and most forecasts fail and almost all do actually so trying to get it right is pretty difficult

Ah forgot that they also must be compliant with US scare tactics and prism Smiley

How is it that ref links are all of a sudden allowed in this thread's OP?

Please edit them.

It's because mem is cool.

And here I thought it was because they have an army of sockpuppets Smiley

The thought had crossed my mind. Guess he's just very patient  Roll Eyes

Can almost see people starting to trade their winnings but that would require a lot of trust on the winners honoring the give away if John logs in and pays off a list.
8679  Economy / Speculation / Re: $300 or $800 next? on: April 07, 2014, 09:25:22 PM
300!!!! not done buying bitcoin cheap yet Dx
Many days and its sticking on 450$ to 460$ mean we are going to good in next few days

Time for the revival or I guess we wait for the Chinese rumor to come true or be proven as a very elaborate multilevel hoax
