Miami Heat are crushing the Boston Celtics on ESPN right now. They have a near 100% chance to win before halftime! Looks like they might score over 150 points at this pace. Fair to say they’ll cover the over. As a team they’re shooting 55% from the three point line so far. Just one of those days you want to get over with for the Celtics I guess.

Welcome to the dark side.

That’s not plagiarism is it?  Cheesy

Hello, I'm not the developer of the app. Not sure why do you say so, but hello ognasty Grin.

- whom else have the same topic hmm? Confused  Huh

I was referring to my own “dark side” comment. I’m sure it’s been said before on this forum and I didn’t want to get banned for making a joke. Sadly, it seems that covering your ass with receipts is a bit of a necessity here these days.
8663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: When can transaction be dropped from mempool on: May 09, 2021, 12:02:06 AM
Any miner could really have any mempool setting they wanted and include transactions from 10 years ago (if the inputs hadn't already been spent, etc.) if they were so inclined as far as my understanding goes.  That being said, I don't know what the default is but I've always heard ~2 weeks.
I also heard that the default is ~2 weeks but many times I have experience that it is not. This is an example. The user has waited more than 23 days for his tx to get confirmed.

I think people would be surprised how many custom implementations of Bitcoin software are used by miners and even regular Bitcoiners who want to help maintain the blockchain without being bound to “defaults” set by some random team of individuals. Thinking about it, it’s actually pretty dumb to claim a “default” setting on the mempool based on one wallet, not to mention incorrect. That’s why the, “I’ve always heard” entered the picture…

I bought some doge in order to be a part of an SNL watching party with the other crazies. Purposely losing money has never been so fun!

The third question is that how can I know the minimum fee required by mempool for transaction to be broadcasted? Is this indicated on any mempool observing site? And if the mempool become more congested after the minimum amount paid, I heard the transaction will be dropped from mempool?

This is the best resource I've found to give you an idea of what fee to include on your transaction:

You guys aren’t into itcoin?  Huh

I'm pretty sure that's just a cheap Italian imitation of physical bitcoin.

...And I thought it's a coin intended for all computer science related people: IT coin  Grin

I thought it was the next big meme coin.

Made a thread for the incident here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5335784.0
I cannot understand why the thread is moved to off topic. Looks like the moderators are not looking at the content before moving, seen many times when someone reports they will not look inside the thread before moving. Roll Eyes

Who knows. Doesn’t make it any less funny. I used to hate both the Paul brothers but I’m turning into a full on fan of them both. Their good cap bad cop thing is really working for them. I just hope the got your hat nonsense doesn’t somehow cost Logan his chance to fight and collect himself the biggest check of his life.

Property taxes and upkeep on a home like that are insane and not looking to get cheaper anytime soon.

You’re the first person I’ve seen admit to leaving negative trust feedback as a way to fight depression. It seems to be quite the common thing around here. I hope that now you are feeling better you might consider having positive interactions with people here so you can start spreading positivity instead of negativity.

I had to turn off notifications on my mining thread because I was getting lots of notifications and the responses would be deleted before I got there. I’m sure my mining thread has had hundreds of posts deleted from it. Even if I am able to respond in time their post will later be deleted. It’s gotten to the point where I rarely even check the thread because I know there won’t be any new discussions on it.
8673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 07, 2021, 05:11:47 AM
@OgNasty. Can Floyd be charged of assault?

I would think it’s certainly possible. I’d have to look at state laws and stuff as to whether he could be charged without Jake pressing charges, but I would think there’s probably some investigations going on by the local police. Given that Jake has some fairly serious injuries, it wouldn’t be crazy to think Mayweather is going to have to cough up a couple bucks under the table.
8674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 07, 2021, 03:21:54 AM
I really don’t think the fight was staged. Besides this being the kind of antics Jake Paul is known for, he ended up with a broken nose and a black eye. I think Floyd probably wouldn’t have committed an offense that could get him arrested if it were staged.
8675  Other / Off-topic / Re: GOTCHA HAT aka Jake Paul! on: May 07, 2021, 03:19:07 AM
Does he even have that kind of goons? Well, I guess that's just the perks of having no problems with money and fame.

How could he not? He’s had beef with 50 Cent and spends all his time in gyms with his team of fighters. I would be shocked if the guy doesn’t have multiple “goons” on the payroll. You see how his bodyguards just moved Jake’s out of the way like they weren’t even there? No threat to them whatsoever.
8676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 07, 2021, 03:16:05 AM
Cousins is giving it to the Lakers right now. I think he’s showing them what they passed up on. He’s making Montrez Harrell (who makes a lot more money) look like a college kid out there. Rondo looks to be getting himself some revenge as well. I was hoping LeBron would be playing but I guess they’re still letting him sit during the tough games until he’s closer to full strength.

8678  Economy / Securities / Re: 📈 NastyFans: The Bitcoin Enthusiast Fan Club (est. 2012) on: May 07, 2021, 12:48:36 AM
NastyMining has just purchased another 250 NastyFans seats for 0.125 BTC on the public auction.

I don't think I want to continue updating each time I do this, but you are able to track the amount of seats held at any time by looking up the NastyMining Bitcoin address on the Seat Owner List.

8680  Other / Meta / Re: If my comments/posts make you angry, please stop reading them. on: May 07, 2021, 12:20:57 AM
Maybe we need something like the Default Trust network only for censorship.  You could add the people who's opinion you trust and the moderators could be like the default trust network.  Any censored posts would be auto censored according to your network.  You could take it a step farther and then have the popularity of users' censorship network determine who the moderators are.

OK, I'm just kidding.
