8661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 0.05 btc to 0.52btc to 12 BTC to 15 BTC to 17.5 BTC [BUSTED] on: January 21, 2017, 12:39:43 AM
-snip-
Wow you're so lucky man Congrats to you, can you give me some tips or strategies to win thanks.
He was very lucky in 2 days ago, turned 0.05 btc into 17.5 btc just in 2 days. If you read some of people's and OP post on above you will know how he made it. but sadly, today he was so unlucky and lost all of his winnings

Its crazy that he dumped it all back. Woulda been a better bet putting it into litecoin.  Cheesy

This is the spirit of gambling - you can't make crazy profit without crazy risks. Many people on his place would stop and 0.1 or 0.5 BTC, but with this mindset you will not see those big wins (and loses) in the first place. It's easy to say that it would be better to stop only because you know that he eventually lost, but in fact every bet could have been his last and you'll never know which one exactly.

The following users are banned:

Code:
Schuyler
Goltech
kemarit

For more info on bans please refer to OP.

Color code is here to help you determine where you are, if you're going on the right tracks or not.

Some users have lots of posts not counted, but it might be not for post quality but because you post in not counted section. There is no problem with that it's just not counted.

Some of you haven't posted a lot. No problem at all, we encourage people to post in a natural way, we don't want you to feel like it's mandatory. You will not get banned because you made only 10 posts.
Just be careful about not bursting 30 posts in one day. THIS might get you banned.

If you haven't posted a lot I didn't move the "warning section" as I don't judge I have enough informations.

Have a good day.

This is a really nice and unique system for directing posters in the right way, I believe no other campaign did this before. And I also like that our signature links feature a referral code, so we can keep track on how many people are actually clicking our signatures.

Edit: it also looks like the referral commission can be bigger than the weekly pay, which is very encouraging.
8663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost $25,000 AUD in one fucking day on: January 20, 2017, 05:16:51 AM
Stories like this should be a reminder to people that every bet can turn red, so when you wager thousands of dollars just stop for a second and think how will you feel if you will lose. There's and overall tendency that negative feeling are perceived much stronger than positive, and it can be especially true for gambling.

8665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strategy and Lost in GAMBLE on: January 20, 2017, 05:09:41 AM
Hello   Smiley

I was wondering if you have any strategy when betting and what's your biggest lost

Cheers !

If any strategy that allow players to win more than they lose existed, than there would be no casinos, because they all will go bankrupt. But in reality we see the opposite - there are many houses and majority of them are in profit. Why? Because casino has and edge over player, meaning you have slightly less chances to win, no matter how you bet. So gambling's main purpose should be not profit from it but excitement and thrill of risking.

I'm interested in DKV Quest creation job. I'm a life-long RPG fan and even have some small experience with DKV. The only downside is that English is not my native language, so there might be some mistakes left even after proofreading.

Второй XAUR? Grin

XAUR конечно же на порядок лучше, т.к. есть фотки с золотом, которое вроде должно его подкреплять.

А здесь ничего нового и нет, просто меняющаяся награда за блок, если они хотя бы ее реализуют.

8671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your biggest bitcoin regrets? on: January 08, 2017, 04:10:33 PM
I think a lot of peope (myself included) regret selling BTC to make some purchases when it was in $200-$600 price range. Also a lot of people regret not selling at the top of the latest rally. My advice would be to restrain yourself if you believe in Bitcoin and try to short if the price was growing rapidly in a short time.

Some people is online tonight, join now and try out the game with us: free booster coupons for beta testers!

Looks like the investing is slowing down. What do you blame that on or think its because of.

I think ICO should be prolonged for 5-7, while current investors should have a choice to withdraw their funds after the original deadline.
8673  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 08, 2017, 09:38:30 AM
I think saving money is for people that they have no reserve and invest is for people that they can loose. So you can invest and loose or win. But if you saving,  you win always.

No one invests all their money, especially just in one place, as the amount of damage outweights any potential profit. People usually invest 10-20% of their savings, and also diversify their investment.

8675  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Reports and Tales From China-Dizzy Bitcoiners on: January 07, 2017, 02:33:21 PM
So that explains the sudden drops in price. As of today China is the only country that declares the ownership of bitcoin as a right of individuals. But that warning is not just a warning since Chinas economic status is declining due to money laundering and part of it was laundering through the use of bitcoin. The central bank of China is now making a move in preparation for the launch of their fiat digital money prototype this coming September 2017. This will again trigger another meltdown in bitcoin price, it is or it isnt, we dont know yet.

Bitcoin has so much value because it's not controlled by government or some organization, not because it's digital. Government-controlled fiat digital money are not a true competitors of Bitcoin. I think digitalization will only increase Bitcoin's value, since there will always be people who want to make private and secure transactions.
8676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China central bank to release digital currency prototype in 2017 on: January 07, 2017, 02:25:13 PM
Today you can hide your operations away from the government by buying btc with cash, but as governments move towards digital currencies, they'll get much more control over all transactions, and it will be harder to obtain Bitcoins privately.
8677  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: January 07, 2017, 10:26:20 AM
Governments also prefer digital money over paper, because it's very easy to track transactions. Cash is the main form of money for black market right now, and it's also used for tax evasions and other illegal activities. So, I think people will be reaching towards crypto currencies as governments push people away frosh cash.
8678  Economy / Economics / Re: What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000? on: January 06, 2017, 07:15:16 PM
If many bitcoin holders do not sell but continue to uy more or Bitcoin is allowed to use as digital currency in payment.
it will rise up at once and it will hit 2,000$ after then, guy.

In your situation, when everyone hold and wait for $2000 to sell, the price will drop dramatically after people start selling. Bitcoin is mostly viewed as investment asset, and people sell when they see their comfortable profit. But if more people will be using it as money, we will see more stable and bigger price.

8680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICO-ESCROW: CGC PROJECT Online Card Games - 3 Days left - 7.8 BTC to go! on: January 06, 2017, 11:16:09 AM
How much in total has been earned so far if you only need 7 btc to go.

3 BTC almost.

Game/Collection/Market engines release should have boosted confidence in the project. All visitors liked them.

I'm looking now at history of  ICOs around the forum. Lot of ICOs, without escrow, with just an ideal project but no real content,  (software, game, market.. whatever it could be) collected way far more than 10 BTC.
Then I guess we shouldn't have any problem since we  do have both a good project and an already working content (very rare thing, eh?).
Game engine works fine, so does Collection and Market one. CGC may have a big audience because Magic is the most famous Collectible Card Games.. played by hundreds thousands people (and it also moves a lot of money).
Our first cards will be very rare and that's a nice bonus for early investors (BCY teached that scarcity of certain powerful cards may drive prices very high).

Server is open for another 45 mins if you wanna join us for a guided tour, you would get a free coupon to try products :-)

There can be many reasons why CGC is getting less attention than it should.

1. People are afraid of ICO's, there has been so much scams over last year.

2. Bitcoin rise drives some people to hold or sell instead of investing

3. Holiday season - people are spending their time with friends and families and less focused on earning

Sometimes I've seen projects were getting their funding over last days of ICO, one gaming ICO coin had set goal of gaining 200 BTC, they got only a few BTC over first weeks, but near closing of ICO they got 337 BTC. I think there's a very good chance that CGC will have over 10 BTC invested.
