ROI is a key concept to wrap your head around, not just for bitcoin but for your whole life.
One big challenge humanity is up against is energy ROI, it is taking a larger and larger fraction of a barrel of oil to deliver a barrel of oil to market. Another similar challenge is the decline in the marginal utility of debt in a ZIRP environment, lower interest rates are failing to spur growth.

But a bitcoin business does not necessarily operate in any physical place. It does not really "exist" at all.
There is no jurisdiction for realms of the mind, and I declare war on any that propose it.

Just as I thought, a thread in clear violation ignored while other threads are deleted on a stylistic whim.
Carry on, nothing to see here...

What is illegal? As people start distrusting govt-backed "money" they will figure out that govt-backed "laws" are no different. They are just arbitrary abstractions imposed on them against their will. Or do you suggest that governments these days have highest approval ratings in history? No, they don't.
The future of Bitcoin is that govt in its current form will be dimmed illegal! You're dealing with Super Nova explosion here in slow-mo, there is nothing you can do about it other than observe its magnificence, and don't get too close or you'll get burned.
we are witnessing the end of the relevance of the nation state in real time, take notes kids, its fascinating stuff.

There is no loophole. The warranty follows the board, so you can sell it and the warranty is still intact. Thus you don't need to register it... because we aren't warrantying the fan (at least not past 6 months or a year), there aren't really any seals we are going to be placing on the unit, either.
Josh, Have you all discussed a policy regarding customer removal/modification/replacement of the heat sink?

I would turn your bitcoins into USD for now.
"To complement the Forum moderation policy for Speculation, here are a few guidelines on why postings are likely to be deleted or moved. On Market Manipulation: Clear suggestions to market participants to take a particular course of action (e.g. "Buy now before the price goes to 5", "SELL quickly, the weekend is coming") Deliberate spreading of false or forged and deceptive information like faked charts Announcements to take a particular market action (e.g. "I am going to buy 50k BTC tomorrow, so you better buy now.")" Sorry to be an ass, but if our moderator is going to delete my for fun threads because, in his view, they lack "substance" then I am going to at least insist that he enforce his own bullshit rules. Not, mind you, that I have ever understood what good a "speculation" forum is with such rules.

I just think that it is amazing how we are watching the institution of the nation state become obsolete before our eyes.
These are exciting times.

You guys are asses. Jalapeno can only bitcoin mine, -nothing- else, and they aren't even available to the public yet. GPU's, motherboards, cpus, etc, have MUCH BROADER use.
Quit with the retard lowballs and make some realistic offers instead of clogging this thread with your "jokes".
The OP's GPU hardware is 2 generations back already and the 7xxx series is more than half way through its product cycle now. With the advent of ASIC they will be scooping 5xxx cards on to China bound scrap ships with front end loaders by the metric ton. Nice PSU though. But you know what? I only need one gaming rig.

what, they going to search every piece of mail to make sure it is not part of a transaction? What kind of world are we building?
Are you under the impression that most commerce is done by mail? What does this have to do with sales tax? I see online commerce as a primary market for bitcoin penetration so yes, almost all online commerce is direct shipping based. As there is no way for them to track the financial transaction the only way for them to demonstrate a taxable transaction occurred would be to search our freight.

Interesting, my report is from the port of Tacoma, goes directly on the boat to China.
They make you strip the steel header plates off to get that?

It will be quite interesting to see if Aquacomputer takes care of you, they have an opportunity to really shine here.

anyone who wants dollars in this environment is not paying a great deal of attention
|
|

I'm only getting $2.80 per pound for #1 board down at the port...who is paying $4.10??
ok I up my offer to one whole coin
|

small flat rate is 5 bux, so less than .5BTC
I am offering a bit over a dollar a card for essentially landfill
|
|
|
80 bux...thats shipped right?
|

There isn't anything that the bitcoin foundation can do about it. If bitcoin became a powerful force, or cryptocurrencies in general, it would probably encourage governments to bring in taxes via sales tax rather than income tax.
