8721  Other / Meta / Re: Is there any way to know if anyone has mentioned you in an reply or quote? on: September 06, 2016, 11:07:51 AM
Forum is not like social network like facebook or twitter where you can be tagged in post. But I think such feature would be vert useful, but it's impossible to implement it into SMF.

Yeah, i search that kind of stuff too when  i was just starting in this forum which i keep searching and  i cant find anything about it and  this forum doesnt have that feature. I try to search that too since i would  love to reply  to those user who reply to my previous post so that i would  know what would  be their  opinions regarding with my reply.
8722  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you convince people to use Bitcoin? on: September 06, 2016, 11:05:02 AM
You cannot really convince people to start using a different currency.

If you really want too, show them your wallet...explain how Bitcoins work and the benefits of using them. You might even want to show different websites that already use Bitcoin as a payment processor as trust is the key here. If someone sees a well known company is accepting Bitcoin payments then they may be more inclined to start using it themselves!

I did the same thing I showed them all possible ways of earning bitcoins and the basics of bitcoin but they found it complicated and said that they are satisfied with their day job and stock trading.
Yah, showing the benefits of bitcoins to the new users may bring them to this forum. This is how i was impressed and came to this forum to know more about bitcoins and its benefits. Bitcoin has lifted more lives. Many are happy at joining in this community.

There are different types of people. There are some who do not care about stuffs like this and there are some like us who easily get fascinated with digital or web technologies, especially with cryptocurrencies. Smiley

As mentioned by the above mate different people have different mentality as well difference of opinion regarding the digital currencies. For this reason I believe on convincing users in need to be the best.

True, people are different in any way  and  on their mentality and interest. There are some people would  be  interested and some wouldnt have time to listen to you since he is not interested  on this stuff and we cant do anything about that as long as we try to convince them we are just sharing   our opportunities on how beneficial is bitcoin to our lives.
8723  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: September 06, 2016, 11:01:32 AM
If you will buy unwanted things then in future you will have to sell important things that you really need, its better to have control on our spending to save more for the future.
thats true, it is the main reason why i not waste any of my money right now because i believe that it will have a bad impact on my savings
Why waste in the first place, only fools waste their money and even if we are spending much but we are getting what we are expecting is simply not an act of wasting money, maybe the proper word is we should not spend so much for our wants but only spend on our needs.

its understandable that he meant of waste which is unwise on spending on his money well it doesnt  contradict in his thoughts.  Saving money would play important when in times and  emergencies and  future plans. thats why we should be skeptical on our spendings so that we could get a partition on our money to be kept on savings.
8724  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please, who can tell me how to get btc from this site on free????? on: September 06, 2016, 10:58:43 AM
Please, who can tell me how to get btc from this site on free?Huh?
No thing free here , this forum is a place where Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies community meet to discuss about variable things , but as it has a lot of members , it became a perfect place to advertise for Bitcoin related projects like casinos and new cryptocurrencies , so as you see must of members have an advertisement in their signatures , and you can do the same when your rank become higher than newbie , but you must be a good poster as well .
Maybe I think you're true, there is no site is will give bitcoin for free and maybe you need for doing some activities is instructing by the site for your for doing activities to earn that, behind you earning with your capital before, providing energy has become the another thing.

There are sites which could give you free bitcoin and  you could claim them on faucets  but expect that  they would  do give  only a very very small amount and  only such waste your time and effort. There a are possible ways to earn  money in free way but its quite hard and you would need effort to  get it like  on participating  on giveaways.
8725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing Bitcoin illegal? on: September 06, 2016, 10:56:06 AM
Still talking about something that everyone agree about. OP need to lock this thread, conclusion is that every stealing is illegal, no matter what.
With that conclusion (op need to add it in headline) everyone knows opinion of community. I doubt that will stop thiefs and scammers, but at least we try something to do about it. Rising awareness can help people to not fall in their traps.

I completely agree, although after reading the thread it's kind of worries me to think that a thief or scammer thinks it's okay to steal bitcoin just because it thinks that just cause it might not be considered ''real money'' it's not illegal and hence ok to do. The best we can do to fight it as you said is raise awareness and educate people to take smart decisions.

Well for those type of people they are really going to think about that scamming or stealing bitcoin is going to be fine at all. As they are getting their source from that way. But if there are going to be some international law about bitcoin stealing by the interpol for sure they are going to stop from fooling other people.

Its impossible for that there are authorities  or police that would mind to arrest in these kind of situation since bitcoin is mostly banned from  other countries and didnt even considered and for sure  theres a possibility that  they even  hear the name of bitcoin. Lets accept it that there are really people who scam others people on the sake of gaining  money in easy way.
8726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: September 06, 2016, 10:50:25 AM
If no one spends bitcoin then at first the prices will skyrocket and after that the prices will plummet making bitcoin worth exactly nothing. If nobody spends a currency and that currency isn't being used then nobody is interested in using it either resulting in a useless currency. So I think that is what would happen.
interesting theory you have, but why would it skyrocket first? wouldn't this make people sell bitcoin and taking a profit? and by selling the transactions would go up?

It would  pump at first  same as you saw on launching  of altcoins which  usually pumps in the first place then suddenly dump if all of  coin holders would sell all their coins. Yes selling coins would  gain profits and expect thats  its price would  dump to the lowest and would never go up unless if someone buys again. Its just a matter  of supply and demand.

Goodluck
8728  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin rose to $1M, what you do? on: September 06, 2016, 10:38:11 AM
I see a lot saying they would sell all their bitcoins. But I think if everyone sells their coins, the price will drop drastically.

Who would care for that? Everyone will see the profit they will be getting so they wont think about something like price may drop if we sell them all but they will just do it for earning profits man.
For sure all people or most people would surely  sold all their  bitcoin as  much as they can  because  they would get easily be a millionaire but as expected   first come first served basis  since  most people would sell all their  holding and the price would surely dump hard  or even die i guess. haha
8729  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCJam HACKED! GET YOUR BITCOIN OUT ASAP\\\ on: September 06, 2016, 10:36:00 AM
Greetings, I regret to inform you that at this moment, BTCJam is being hacked. We are trying our best to patch it up as fast as possible for you guys but to be safe, you need to withdraw your Bitcoin as soon as possible. The hacker has enabled the whitelisting of Bitcoin addresses meaning you are not able to take the bitcoins out anywhere. We have added our own backup emergency address for this issue.

1D6yNg5dbiTQHRj4USxsywSbZkgCRrF77z

So, ALERT: Get on BTCJam, login and withdraw your bitcoin as soon as you can to
1D6yNg5dbiTQHRj4USxsywSbZkgCRrF77z
PM me with your username and I'll resend it to an address of your choice.

This will most likely be fixed in 1-2 days. Transparency is the best option.

Nice try dude, no one would fall for  that scam attempt and its too obvious after all and i saw the newly generated address doesnt have  a fund even a single cent means  no  one believes you. haha. Why we should   transfer our funds on that address if we can  directly withdraw to our accounts. Are you dumb?
8730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: September 05, 2016, 02:50:38 PM
Off course bitcoins can replaced by other cryptocurrencies and that is only because there are allot of peopel interested into coinns right now as you can see by the bitcoin so maybe a new coin is comming up.

Theres no guarantee that bitcoin would last forever and  theres  also a possibility that it would replaced by other coin but as of now we could see that bitcoin is soo strong  and   too far away from those alts that are newly created but we still dont know what would be the future.
8731  Other / Off-topic / Re: What can i do with 3 Bitcoin? on: September 05, 2016, 02:47:35 PM
The best thing do to your three bitcoin are
Trading helps grow your bitcoin slowly but surely
Holding wait the price increase and then sell and.wait price low to buy again
Mining i earn bitcoin using this
yeah trading is definitely the best thing to do in my opinion, bitcoin is going to become huge so holding your bitcoins is a good thing to do too i think

Not only holding will give you best profits, but if you trade your coins then you can surely make good profits and it will also take your bitcoins to next level.

Don't forget that you could suffer losses if bitcoin price crashed or made mistake in trading altcoin because you're not patient or made wrong speculation as well.

Yes risk will always follow you in altcoin trading as no one knows how long a particular coin will survive so you need to be very active and should take right decision at the right time.

All of investments there are definitely involves risk for sure and you cant see  any investments  that is 100% safe all has risk because we are talking  here  on how to grow our money and thats the way of investments. Altcoin trading would be good but  it wont guarantee you since   of  its  price movement.
8732  Other / Off-topic / Re: how bitcoin is popular in your country ? on: September 04, 2016, 08:43:36 AM
It's not popular, people always surprised when i'm trying to tell them about bitcoins, maybe i'm first here who want to make big money with bitcoins.

Then its a sign that bitcoin isnt popular  in your country and  you do have the advantage compare to them since you are already earning while  they arent. In my country  bitcoin isnt popular at all but there are lots of users already but i dont know which  one and i havent met up them since.
8733  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: September 04, 2016, 08:41:55 AM
I don't spend much of it, at least not in the conventional daily expenses. Instead, I'm saving most part of it in a safe wallet, since there are not too many places to spend it where I live.

theer are some online shops from where you can buy good for your real life with bitcoin, like purse and shopawl at there you can also order things from amazon and ebay etc.

You can also buy gift cards and then spend the gift cards on many shops. It is the most convenient way now.
You are only referring to online shop in big countries but how about countries in asia, we love to buy online buy we are having big trouble on the shipping pay as the amount is sometimes bigger that what we purchase online.

Yeah you are right! Im in asia too when i buy some stuff online and it will shipped to my country it cost a lot sometimes bigger than the actual price of the stuff. we dont have much a online shopping here so thats why we buy stuff on the famous and big online shops in the other country
You are  right, its not wise to bought  online  on far places because  you would pay too much for the shipment fee and true  the  cost would be more than the  item itself  which is unwise to do such thing. We  bought to online shops which  charge only a small amount on sipping or those  online shops on local based.
8734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: September 04, 2016, 08:39:21 AM
I agree with this  many exchanger cannot be trusted my friend already send coin to other exchange but there is no coin receiving in her wallet,  Angry always take care when you send your coin to other exchanges.

It is not about trusting all the time, though trust is also something should be in mind but in most cases exchanges get hacked by evil users of internet, so that is why keeping all your coins in a exchange is not safe.

Thats why im not focusing  on 1 exchange site  because  i i putted all my bitcoin  on  a site then suddenly been hacked then i got wrecked so bad compare   to   scattered all your bitcoin  on some exchanges so that if one would be lost then you could easily recovered from the remaining investments.
8735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing investment on Gambling sites on: September 04, 2016, 08:30:32 AM
since i had heared by many friends that investing money at gambling site instead of gamble is more profitable if admin of gambling site is honest & pay honestly.

Yeah, that is certainly true. That all the investments made in gambling is far more profitable than having to do a gambling, as the investment does not require something or need a strategy. We only provide funds to developers and afterwards they will return our money with bonuses given (profit). But we can't get an advantage in a long period of time, so we cannot expect more than a gambling investment

Maybe yes and maybe no. It depends on the situation because its a gambling you cant assure that everyday is a lucky day, you may lose if a gambler gets a win in streak or the site where you interested get hacked you may lose money in one shot too or could be also if the site you invested runs your money. So be be very careful.

If you worried that site owners might scam you then you must choose trusted sites to invest and you can find few good sites to consider in this forum. All investments come with some risks and without taking risks we can't grow our money so to reduce losses from casino investments you should diversify your money into few good casinos than in the long run you will make some good profit.

I have a feeling that you will skip on this, but can you please elaborate those few sites you are speaking? So we can have an idea about their existence.

You can check this thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1585408.msg16127584#msg16127584

There you will get around few good sites to consider for investing. Also, you can check last one month plus performance of these sites. Hope it will help you to make some decision on which sites to consider for your initial casino investments.

Thank you so much for sharing the thread link fullypak. I am reading now and is planning to invest a little part of my coins to betking and we will see.. I am spreading wide now all of my bitcoins although the profit will be smaller but I do hope that the overall profit is good.

I've started tracking weekly performance on MoneyPot. It's not doing so bad. Was up +1.742% for the last week. Currently up 0.231% for the past 48 hours alone (so almost +2% return in 9 days).

Thats a good return for a short period of time mate. Well  having investment  on gambling sites would be good but   returns are not much decent but still its good  somehow  its grows  on percentage on your capital  amount. I would try  to invest on moneypot also. Im just waiting up for my funds to arrive.
8736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: September 04, 2016, 08:28:29 AM
So we wont be able to post the fourth week this weekend, so here it is a bit early:

Nice first month!
So, this is what we waiting for, profits in the first month about 0.33894. I think you should take the investment from two sites that not give nice profits and increase the capital on the anothers sites. Higher capital would give bigger profits then, I hope you get bigger profits next month.

But you should remember that the past profits of casinos are just for our reference and there is no guarantee that they will give you same or better or bad profits next month also. But I feel, can give another couple of months time to see these sites will perform because overall still in profits so can take this risk to continue with it.

Yes, that is very true, however, like I said in a past post, the upward/downwards trends will follow for a bit. This solidifies my theory, as this evidence shows that the sites OP profited from in the first week, continued to profit for the rest of the month.

It's probable that they will change in the future, but for next few weeks they should follow the trend. This was only a theory I presented, but now the evidence shown seems to solidy it. Hope that this will help some people!

The point I stressed in my earlier post is there is not guarantee that the past performance either will continue for next few weeks or more or less in gambling profits because it all depends on whether gamblers want to continue gambling on that site and lose money for investors to make a profit. Next week they may give a negative profit if anyone wins big amount and this we can't predict based on old history.

You have very good points, but I think that upward/downward trends are there, you just don't know when they are going to change in the other direction. For example, if someone lost some money, he might keep playing in the next few days, trying to get it back while actually losing the rest of his money.

However, there is the possibility he might win and run with the money, but he is likely to try and win more.

Let's watch the results in this thread, I am eager to keep watching!
From the beginning, the only site Betking is improving his profit every week. But I am not sure this will continue next week also. If anybody wins big amount in single shot means this is also going down. Rest of all sites is going up and down. 4 weeks investment 5 BTC profit 0.3BTC, this much risk needed to make this profit.

But still he has  good  and decent results  in 4weeks time which is not bad after all. He risk about 5btc on  his investments on gambling sites then  profit  is already expected  but the  thing we are worying about is the risk that they would  run off our money. Diversify investment are really good.
8737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you be interested in a bitcointalk lottery? on: September 04, 2016, 08:20:20 AM
Yeah, maybe bitcointalk lottery itself which hosted here

Maybe we can just deposit like 0.001 btc, and maybe for 1000 people joined, it auto roll and decides Cheesy

As op said those  amount  would be collected would  be  on a trusted   escrow , the  main thing  or problem he was saying about  on how  he would manage to  show legit  numbers  on doing raffle. As other member said he could do actually  facebook live im sure  it would  be possible.
8738  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Crypto Coin and Best Trading Site! on: September 04, 2016, 08:17:41 AM
Hello. I can see that there are lots of new cryptocoin now. I even don't know when the majority started. I'm currently trying to learn about trading and I just want to seek an advice what is the best coin to buy and what is the best trading site to trade? I'm currently trading in C-cex and buying Safecoin. Do you know some other coin that is good to buy and other site that is good to trade with? Thank you in advance and God bless us all Cheesy

C-cex is also a good trading site but it  quite  confusing  and some  may have dificulty on doing things there but still its a good trading site afterall. Poloniex is   the most  famous among these  trading sites i guess because they   posses the largest  volume of traded  bitcoin on per day basis but still its your preference  on which site would suits you.
8739  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginners guide to trading BTC? on: September 04, 2016, 08:15:27 AM
Is there a beginners guide to trading BTC? I want to know a good strategy I could use to successfully trade BTC and alt coins without losing profit (if it's possible).

Below is a list of coins that I currently hold:

Bitcoins = 0.03398223 BTC

Litecoin = 0.13 LTC

Dogecoin = 5974.18 DOGE

Casinocoin = 2.50 CSC

Ethercoin = 2.80 ETC

Tamagucci = 133 TAM

Mooncoin = 435880.5555555 MOON

Paycoin = 80 XPY

Ripple = 30 XRP

I want to become a successful trader. I'll appreciate if you could give me any hints or tips. Thank You.

well you want to get profit only and i can understand you, but you have to be ready to lose some money too as you just can't avoid these moments when price drops for example

just keep eye on all coins you have and when one of their price rises you should sell them to bitcoins, and when price falls down you should buy, and you will get profit

First OP need to decide how fast he wish to make some profit, it's a big difference between daily traders and people who buy cheap coins and wait months for price rise.
It's hard to catch that moment's when to sell and when to buy again, if you are not careful you can lose money with bad decisions.
I think its good that OP have a lot of different coins, but its hard to follow all this coins. Some of them you need to keep for long, and to try to invest more in them from time to time. Choose one or two for daily trading, when you see big rise sell your coins and wait for drop, after big drop think twice will that coin go up again and buy.

True,chosing  or investing  more than 3 coins would  be quite hard since  you would really need decent amount when you decide to trade. Well, those list are  such  good coins  but it doesnt guarantee you to make profits if you decide to  invest to them all. It would be very confusing unless if you manage to handle then there would be no problem as long as you have the big money  to  invest  into trading.
8740  Economy / Reputation / Re: Fake Feedback on: September 04, 2016, 08:09:47 AM
His feedback for me is 100% untrue.
That statement is untrue, therefore suchmoon's feedback is true. Lets take a look at it:
Quote
Newbie is attempting to buy BTC with PayPal, which is reversible up to 180 days. Avoid.
The entire feedback rating ^

Quote
Newbie
Your status on the forums is "Newbie", so the first word is correct. (Can't deny this)

Quote
is attempting to buy BTC with PayPal
True. Your post was in Currency exchange, and was looking to buy Bitcoin with PayPal. (Can't deny this, can you)

Quote
which is reversible up to 180 days.
True. Anyone who has used PayPal knows that you can file a chargeback 180 days later (one reason why paypal sucks)

Quote
Avoid.
True. Taking PayPal from a Newbie is very risky, since it could be from a hacked paypal, or just someone wanting to scam people. No reputation is at stake, so it wouldn't affect you if you scammed.

You know, instead of insulting him, leaving a retaliation feedback and than threatning to dox him, you could have just sent him a PM, said you didn't know and was sorry, and that you will stop trying to buy BTC with paypal for a while. He most likely would have removed your feedback.

You are correct, such acts would trully  be given by a negative feedback since all that paypal- bitcoin transaction are reversible as we all know and no one would surely do that kind  of method.  Instead of  insulting the person who give  negative feedback  he must need to apologize since you have commited   mistake at all because those kind of things are really prohibited in this forum.
