Nice blog.I see a lot of bitcoin related blogspot blogs and i don`t know why bitcoin users prefer blogger. Grin

to your blog.
8722  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Realestate investments on: October 08, 2016, 01:46:25 PM
What are some bitcoin real estate investments I can make at this time? They must be safe. If one does not exist how would such a service work?

If you want to buy a real estate using bitcoin you need a seller that accepts bitcoin as a payment method.

I don`t know about people who will sell their property for btc.

Maybe we should create a "Craigslist" type of website for those people to post such ads.
8723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of Bitcoin over traditional payment systems on: October 08, 2016, 01:37:17 PM
I often meet newbies and try to explain to them what makes Bitcoin special. I am trying to compile a list of advantages of Bitcoin.

Is there anything anybody feels I should add to the list below?

Also I think its better to keep to concrete, succinct,  advantages. Not what might be considered wishy washy hype about how it will 'help bring sub-saharan Africans out of poverty by allowing them to purchase goats with Bitcoin".

Some of the reasons which I currently state:

-It allows you to have full control of your money, nobody can take away your money.

-It is not controlled by anyone. Its a decentralised peer-to-peer network. Based on open source software. This means it can not be manipulated, Bitcoin supply is fixed modelling it after gold. Nobody can stop or prevent transactions.

-It has low fees compared to other online payment methods like paypal, credit cards etc.

-It is truly global.

-It is programmable money that allows for smart contracts.

-Anybody including kids from their basement, can create financial applications without permission. This is because its open source technology and the network is not controlled by anybody. Nobody needs to ask permission to use it and nobody can restrict access. If you have access to the internet you can access it.

-It is pseudo anonymous and with some extra effort it can be very close to anonymous. You need sophisticated state actors using significant resources to de-anonymise if somebody takes extra effort.

-It is less hackable then traditional payment systems because it is a push system. That means you dont provide your 'secret keys' to receiver/merchant when you make a payment, unlike with credit cards.

I agree with your list, but the biggest bitcoin advantage is the irreversible transactions.

There are people who think that irreversible transactions are a flaw, but they are wrong.

8724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: October 08, 2016, 09:58:23 AM
What do you guys think it would happen if all the governments in the world declared bitcoin to be illegal?
How do you think the community would react? What could be the possible solutions?

The bitcoin community will decrease and a lot of people will run away from bitcoin.

Maybe bitcoin will become a more underground currency and only darknet users will use it,i guess.

And the price will go down, off course...
8725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arbitrage on: October 08, 2016, 09:55:12 AM
Has anybody tried bitcoin arbitrage between exchanges?
I see many opportunities EUR, USD, CNY to BTC. I already tried it with small money and it worked.

Is it possible to make 5% profit monthly?

I think the profit will be too small and you need big amount of funds

in order to make it work.I haven`t tried this, but it might work with a big investment.
8726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how many sites will show the proof of ,how much Bitcoins they have? on: October 08, 2016, 09:53:02 AM
as the title metioned.

What sites are you talking about?

Gambling,cloud mining,online wallets?Can you be more specific.

If they want to build a legit business, they will show the real amount of bitcoins they have.

8727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you believe banks will work with Bitcoin, you're delusional on: October 07, 2016, 12:13:46 PM
I see this often "banks should start working with Bitcoin users since that's where things are headed, why not cooperate?".

If you think your bank is going to keep your bitcoins in some account then you can use your debit card to convert to dollars at the point of sale then you don't really understand the main revenue of banks.

Banks hold your dollars in their bank accounts. They then turn around and leverage your dollars in their account by 10 times to issue loans to people where they get their main revenue.

If people are holding their funds in bitcoins and only using banks as a transaction medium the bank is not making much money.

Don't expect banks to embrace Bitcoin. The reason they're all creating their own "blockchains" is so they can make it so that they can hold your funds and leverage it.

Every central bank warning about Bitcoin is another central bank realizing that they are going to lose if people start using Bitcoin.

I don`t believe that banks will ever embrace bitcoin.

The banks can only destroy bitcoin, and they will destroy it,if bitcoin becomes big enough.

Why are you making this thread?

I don`t see people who want banks to accept btc.
8728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple Pay vs Bitcoins on: October 07, 2016, 12:10:05 PM
When you go into a store and want to buy goods. You can either wave your apple watch og iphone at a terminal at the register. It will take you around - 3 seconds.

Or you can pull out your smartphone. Log into your wallet. Scan someones 2D bitcoin code. Send them some bitcoins, wait for the transaction to be verified, and then take your goods and go.. total time 10mins +

Can someone tell me how bitcoins will ever stand a chance?

I don`t have an iPhone and i will never have.

In my opinion,if you use Apple pay you are an "Apple slave"  Grin just kidding.

If you use bitcoin you are more independent, but with less convenience.
8729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Naughty America Productions and DECENT Cooperation on: October 07, 2016, 12:05:32 PM
what a big whale! Smiley Smiley

Geneva, Switzerland, September 20, 2016 – Swiss Blockchain Company DECENT and Naughty America, one of the major adult content production companies in the USA, agreed today to work on a pilot project that will implement progressive Digital Rights Management (DRM) by utilizing the most recent advancements in Blockchain Technology, Digital Video Fingerprinting and Cryptography.
The aim of this collaboration is to create a next generation content distribution platform in the adult video industry – which is plagued by illegal content sharing and concerns about privacy. And set a new bar in the future of digital content distribution systems by bringing in Blockchain technology for Intellectual Property (IP) protection and privacy into the current technology mix.
Whether it’s interactive motion-controlled video, biofeedback, 360 or 3D video, the adult entertainment industry looks to perfect and broaden the commercialization of new technologies. Naughty America is no stranger to innovation – they are an adult industry leader – as their Virtual Reality (VR) content already works on Samsung Gear VR, Oculus and Vive and they already have their own VR headset, a variation on the Google cardboard headset.
Ian Paul, CIO of Naughty America, said:
“Fighting piracy and protecting privacy are key priorities for Naughty America. Decent offers us the ability to accomplish both at the same time due to the technology's level of security, transparency, and inalterability of records."
Video and music production and distribution companies across the world are constantly trying to find an effective solution of copyrights infringement. A solution that would ensure protection of their business and clients while being interesting for their customers and audience. But Blockchain companies working on the current problems in the video content industry are far and few between.
Digital video fingerprinting is a process in which a software identifies unique components of a video file that serve as its “fingerprint”. The technology uses characteristic features such as motion changes, colour or key frame analysis for identification. As a result of the unique approach that DECENT’s underlying technology implies each piece of content will be tracked and secured in the network from the moment it is created and uploaded, effectively preventing piracy on the network.
“In comparison to what is widely used today – hash coding, can only determine a completely equal or unequal file, the DECENT system will distinguish between genuine and copied content using detailed analysis of file’s characteristics,” said Matej Boda, co-founder of DECENT. "We look forward to exploring the huge potential
of Blockchain technology in combination with current industry solutions along with Naughty America in the upcoming pilot project."
DECENT and Naughty America are determined to develop an efficient distribution system that will benefit the content producers as well as its end users. The goal is to find a thorough solution for copyrights violation and recreate the content distribution processes worldwide.

The partnership between bitcoin/blockchain and the adult industry can be huge and bring lots

of benefits for both.Using blockchain technology for fighting the online piracy is a good idea,i guess.

This is good news.

8730  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: bitcoin mining on: October 07, 2016, 05:55:45 AM
I just want some advise, is it profitable to venture into Bitcoin mining? Thank you in advance and God bless.

Cloud mining is a scam, bitcoin mining isn`t profitable unless you live in

a third world country with cheap electricity and get cheap mining hardware.

This is everything you need to know.
8731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do when BTC is overrun by a centralized mindset? on: October 07, 2016, 05:53:36 AM
So what do you do when Bitcoin is overrun by a centralized mindset?

After putting a few feelers out there it is obvious what you will do.

You will follow the status quo and do nothing to flush out the sickness.

Sometimes when you are infected you must find an antibiotic.

One with superior conductivity.

Have you found it yet?

Find the volume because it is out there in the charts.

Find the hedge to survive or risk going down with a sinking ship.

So many are about to walk the plank.

Maybe then they can be together with their beloved squid for eternity.

If bitcoin is really owned by a centralized mindset,i will leave it and buy some other altcoin.

Other altcoins might be more centralized than bitcoin. Sad

Maybe i will leave the cryptocurrency community.
8732  Economy / Gambling discussion / How much does it cost to create a btc gambling site? on: October 06, 2016, 12:18:57 PM
How much does it cost to build and maintain a website like primedice (for example)?

Hosting,programming,design and advertising costs?

I have an idea about a brand new bitcoin gambling game which will be completely different than the dice sites,

but i don`t know from where to start.

I don`t know if this is the right place to ask,but can anyone answer?
8733  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any good Bitcoin games around? on: October 06, 2016, 11:53:00 AM
I'm looking for fun games where you can earn Bitcoin or use it within the game. Can you recommend me a list of BTC games that are fun and addicting? Just want to know the list of BTC games that are available as I'm going to use them as an introductory point to teach and attract new people towards Bitcoin at my place.  Smiley

Why not pokebits or satoshiwars?I`ve never tried them.

Satoshimines is the most interesting btc game in my opinion.

It`s gambling, but you can play without btc to practice.
8734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bubble of the central banks will burst soon on: October 06, 2016, 05:42:16 AM
That was the headline I saw on the internet earlier today. What kind of impact on bitcoin will it have when it happens?

Just a headline and no analysis.I don`t believe rumors.

Central banks really create a bubble, but can you proove it will burst soon.I can`t see any evidence about this

There are rumors about the apocalypse everyday and so what?Should we believe them?

8736  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: can you trade forex without technical analysis? on: October 05, 2016, 12:11:47 PM
Trading forex can be narrow than to two forces that drive a single vehicle. Most time after analysing the market technically and a trade is sure that market trend has hit the support or resistance level or breakout has taken place, the candlestick also has signal you to enter buy or sell then you see that the trade go against that signal due to news or fundamental issue. My question is this, can we really depend on technical analysis in trading decision?

Technical analysis is important, but you need something more in order to be

a good trader.

We depend on technical analysis and a few other important factors plus luck.
8737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop fuckin' around, fork the son-of-a-bitch already. on: October 05, 2016, 11:34:26 AM
Hard forks are good.  Stop crying.  They allow two discrete paths to flourish and see which works best.  Too freaking bad if some of your juice gets stuck on the 'bad' chain.  On fork day, you've got equal action on both chains.  Make good decisions thereafter.  No harm, no foul.

Let's do it NOW!!!!

Fork it already.

Who`s crying?I don`t understand.

Are there people who complain about the hard fork?

What`s the point of this thread?
8738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: October 05, 2016, 11:31:54 AM
Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin.
No one will offer services for Bitcoin.
Spend Your Bitcoins.

You are right, but everyone is free to choose wether or not to spend or hold his bitcoins.

We need safer places where we can spend our bitcoins and get goods and services without being

scammed.
8739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Brave' browser starts paying bitcoins on: October 05, 2016, 05:46:43 AM

https://nakedsecurity.sophos.com/2016/10/04/brave-browser-starts-paying-bitcoins-to-adblocked-sites/

Quote
An integrated Bitcoin payment system will handle payments, putting bitcoins into your wallet if you’ve agreed to see ads and taking them out if you’ve opted to have them blocked.

The fees Brave Software takes in from advertisers will go into one pot. The publishers get the lion’s share – 55% – weighted by how many ad impressions are served on their sites.

What’s left over gets divvied up between Brave, its ad-matching partners, and the users, with each getting 15%.

If users don’t opt to take their 15%, then the publishers will get 70%.

Anyone using Brave and can verify this? Have they indeed started paying users, or publishers only? I only use android version, which doesn't yet support btc payments.

I`ve never  heard of this brave browser and i will never use it.

Is it better than Firefox or chrome?

It`s good that they adopt bitcoin, but they aren`t very popular.
8740  Other / Off-topic / Re: What did you already bought with Bitcoin? on: October 05, 2016, 05:43:38 AM
